Design features

- End is used to protect the side end surfaces. They are not protected from moisture due to the fact that small gaps are also formed at the joints of the wall and roofing. With the help of a heater, additional thermal insulation of the roof is guaranteed.

You can make a metal bar for tiles with your own hands. To do this, you just need to bend a sheet of aluminum or steel into the desired shape - you can use a block from the frontal board as a template. After the element needs to be painted with paint, which will help protect it from the effects of precipitation.
Installation

Periodically, the joints will need to be checked for tightness. Each season, the slats are inspected and, if necessary, replaced. To do this, the top is removed with pliers and replaced with a whole one. The junction is additionally treated with a thin layer of sealant.

The average service life of the bar is 50 years, the first signs of corrosion may appear after 10 years. After that, it is recommended to either cover the cornices and ends with protective enamels, or completely replace the coating.
