Construction of fences. Do-it-yourself garden fence: original budget ideas. Country fence made of corrugated sheets

So let's say you already have country cottage area. Having land, but having nothing else, you need to start somewhere. Construction of a fence at the dacha is one of the most important issues and is resolved first. Work to achieve ultimate goal in this aspect is quite complex and with proper economic situation It is better to use the services of professionals.

If you decide to do everything yourself, you need to know a few points and features that will help in this matter. And below is all the necessary information so that you fully know how to make a fence at the dacha with your own hands.

There are several necessary factors that determine the feasibility of a particular building.

For barrier structures this is:

  • The nature of the soil. There are several types of soil, and each of them has different properties, which determine the reliability of fastening of supporting structures. Taking this parameter into account, the depth for the supports and the type of foundation are selected.
  • Load air flow on the fence. At different locations your summer cottage may be strongly influenced by winds on the fence and its cladding. This load parameter is taken into account to determine the required gaps between the sheathed materials (to reduce the influence of air flow).
  • Designer design of the site. Your fence should be in harmony with the rest of the structures. Aesthetic principles must be respected at least by plantings as close as possible to the fence from the inside.

The options for building a fence for a dacha are quite varied and before you build a fence at the dacha with your own hands, you need to know: the materials from which the structures are assembled, their cost and the complexity of the construction process. When purchasing material, try to do it at one time, otherwise it may vary in size and shade. When organizing a living fence, make sure that organic material has not expired.

Living fence made of pine needles

To ensure that no one disturbs your peace, a design made of brick, concrete or wood may be suitable. For lovers original solutions A fence made of forged metal or a hedge is suitable. In addition to the fact that such a fence has nice view, its main functions are protection from intrusion and protection from robbery, which should also not be forgotten.

Separately, I would like to focus on the supports during construction, since they are a guarantee long service fence

If the barrier structure is made of brick, ordinary pipes with a large diameter of about 100-150 mm are suitable for supports.

Scheme of laying pillars of a brick fence

The construction of a fence made of corrugated sheets requires a smaller diameter of pipes - about 60x60 mm. For wooden fence it is used accordingly wooden beams ki as supports or logs of a certain thickness, depending on the height of the building you choose.

Organizing supports is a rather painstaking process. The beginning of installation is the correct marking and installation of pegs in the places of future posts. The distance between the supports should be the same and directly proportional to the height of the fence. The depth to which the supports are buried must be greater than the freezing depth of the ground. Before being immersed in the ground, wooden supports are treated with a special antiseptic substance. When placing the supports, keep one line; for this, a plumb line or a regular string will come to your aid.

Scheme of constructing a wooden fence

Fixation of supporting structures is described in the paragraphs below. Before starting work, prepare shovels, drills, cord, measuring instruments(rulers, tape measures), electric drill (if necessary) or hammer, rammer and building materials.

The foundation, like the supports, is an important element of the building. Provided you follow all the instructions for organizing the foundation, your fence will serve you long years. There are two main types of foundation: strip and pillar.

Strip foundation

This type of foundation is very durable and is usually used for heavy buildings. Strip foundations are especially effective if buildings need to be built in areas with problematic soil, for example, heaving soil.

Scheme strip foundation

Manufacturing technology

  • First of all, dig a hole of about 30-80 cm. Having the necessary tolerance and time, for greater strength of the future fence, it is better to go deeper to 150 cm.
  • Create a layer of sand and then fill it with water.
  • Reinforcement cells should not have big size, knitting the reinforcement is the next important step.
  • Make the formwork for the fence so that the material from which it is made does not touch the ground (it is raised by 30-50 cm).
  • Afterwards, the formwork is filled with concrete; if the supports are mounted into the foundation, this must be done at this stage, maintaining the level as described earlier.

Pillar foundation

This kind supporting structure differs from the previous one in that it serves for lighter constructions. It has a huge plus - sufficient cost-effectiveness during construction. If you stick technological process, then a fence standing on this foundation will serve you no less than a fence on a strip foundation.

Pillar foundation diagram for supports

Manufacturing technology

  • Using a shovel or drill, make holes for supports 1-1.5 meters deep. The width of the hole should be 15-30 cm greater than the support being immersed in it.
  • We make a layer of crushed stone and sand, which we fill with water (the thickness of the layer is approximately 20 cm).
  • After leveling the pillars, pour sand concrete into the hole and add crushed stone for greater strength.

The foundation is ready. As you can see, the process is not at all complicated and is suitable for fencing of all kinds.

Wooden fence

Wooden fences for your dacha can be assembled by yourself.

Construction option wooden fence

This operation is quite simple and can be carried out in several steps:

  • Determine the perimeter of the building.
  • We dig trenches for the support pillars (depth 25-30 cm, distance from each other 2 or 2.5 meters).
  • We align the posts evenly using a building level.
  • We fix the posts in the ground by pouring concrete or cement into the trench.
  • For cladding, we screw or nail wooden beams ( the average size bars from 50x50 mm)
  • We mount the crossbars
  • We attach pre-prepared boards to the resulting structure, with a gap of 1.5-2 cm (choose the size of the boards yourself depending on your aesthetic needs, the recommended size is 85x145 mm)
  • We carry out Finishing work in the form of painting the resulting structure

Remember: for a long service life of a wooden fence, all boards must be treated with drying oil before construction, and more than once.

Pros: the material is quite accessible and inexpensive.

Cons: wooden fences for dachas do not have long term services and the need for constant monitoring of condition (painting, processing, etc.).

Brick fence

Pros: greater strength and service life (50 years or more), aesthetically pleasing appearance.

Brick fence

Minuses: High price and the need to build a strong foundation

Corrugated fence

You can make such a fence yourself with minimal effort.

To begin, purchase metal sheets by selecting desired design and taking a closer look at the price, having previously calculated required amount material. Afterwards, you need to make markings and complete a few more steps to get a finished barrier structure:

  • Dig holes 1-1.2m deep around the entire perimeter.
  • In each hole, arrange a cushion of crushed stone or gravel 20-25cm thick
  • As in the case of a wooden fence, we place the posts level, use a level, and then concrete them for strength.
  • Next stage - welding work, weld the logs from the pipe across, keeping the same distance between them.
  • Using self-tapping screws, screw sheets of metal onto the resulting structure (for better safety, self-tapping screws can be replaced with metal rivets).
Corrugated fence

Pros: big choice material and its aesthetic parameters, practicality and ease of installation, relatively low price, durability.

Cons: not sophisticated enough general form(this is why brick additions are usually made)

Concrete fence (in the form of slabs)

Pros: Durable material(stronger than even brick buildings), long service life, no need for maintenance, different selection decorative design.

Concrete slab fence

Cons: Very difficult to build with your own hands (you need to use the services of specialists)

Metal fence (forged)

If the owner has a sufficient budget, it is possible to install a wrought iron fence. This type is very harmonious with large buildings and has many positive characteristics.

Pros: forged metal fences for dachas have a service life of over 50 years, can take various shapes, while maintaining strength and aesthetics, such structures are fireproof.

Wrought iron fence

Disadvantages: they are not a barrier to wind and dust, they allow noise to pass through, they are expensive, they rust, and they require maintenance.

Metal fence (in sections)

Elements of sections of this type are connected by welding. The fence has a good visual appearance and has many different models.

Pros: Impact resistance, bendability, fire safety, gives high level illumination.

Sectional metal fence

Cons: Sectional fences for dachas do not retain wind and dust, do not protect from visual contact with passers-by, and are not suitable for self-installation.

Metal fence (in the form of a mesh)

The fence is suitable for small summer cottages. And it can be erected as a temporary replacement for a more powerful fence, or for a permanent long service life.

Self-installation, if you decide to do so, begins, like all others, with markings. It is necessary to calculate not only the perimeter and vertical position main pillars, but also provide space for intermediate supports. Typically, some pillars are installed at a distance of 3 meters from each other, and the next at 9 meters. The diameter of the required pipes is indicated in the paragraph on supports, and their installation in the paragraph on the foundation.

Metal mesh fence

The dug pillars are connected by supports made of metal corners. This can be done by welding or screwing in bolts. For additional safety, the wire rod is passed between the posts on different heights, having previously drilled holes in them. This is done so that a possible attacker cannot bend the mesh of your fence.

The last stage is stretching the mesh. You can secure it with bolts, after passing wire rod through it. The roll with the mesh begins to unwind near the support pillars, gradually, making sure that the bent ends of the mesh are on top.

Pros: the design is quite reliable and lasts a long time, does not cast a shadow.

Cons: Does not provide the necessary comfort due to its visible design.

Slab fence

In general, croaker is a waste product resulting from sawmill operations. The construction of a fence from slab is quite economical, although, according to some experts, it does not have a particularly aesthetic appearance. If you need to save your budget, this is an ideal option.

Slab fence

If we build a fence at the dacha with our own hands from a slab, then it is necessary to comply correct sequence works

For lovers non-standard solutions A wattle fence is best. This design easily harmonizes with any design of a summer cottage and is cheaper than any other options for constructing a fence. The main disadvantage is short term service, about 3-5 years. To make the sheathing, you can use willow or hazel branches, or birch branches. As with other structures, you cannot do without supports. As usual, there are two options: supports made of wood or metal (the installation process is described above).

For weaving, branches of appropriate length (at least 1.5 meters) and thickness (at least 30 mm) are required. Before starting work, the rods are subject to spot checks. The branches should not be too dry, as this will cause the fence to break. If you break a twig, the middle should not have a red-brown tint - this is an indicator of excessive dryness.

Remove the bark from the branches and leave them in plain water for a week or two. During the soaking process, use any weight that presses down the rods. Afterwards, you can begin the weaving process; it is customary to braid from the bottom up. Used as additional fastening material copper wire. For a dense arrangement of rods relative to each other, it is used rubber hammer. The ends of the supports are covered to avoid the influence of precipitation. You can cover the end surface using galvanized caps or clay lids.

Decoration of a standard fence

Installing a fence in a country house is a very common question, but there is another no less interesting one - how to decorate an existing fence that has nothing to do with design solutions. The answer is very simple - climbing plants, different kinds grapes or ivy will help you improve your building. It is possible to paint the fence or use it as one of the walls of the adjacent gazebo. Plantings in the form of raised flower beds along the fence are also welcome.

The solution to decorative issues depends on you and your imagination. It is possible to build a fence with your own hands and then decorate it in conditions of awareness possible options execution of both. Having read the material presented above, you do big step towards new opportunities.

Photos

Below is a gallery of photographs of garden fences so that you can see the variety of designs country fencing and could choose the most suitable one for you, which will satisfy all your requirements, from appearance to safety. All images are enlarged to full size by clicking on them.

The fencing of the dacha plot is erected first. It defines the boundaries of the site and hides it from prying eyes. You can make it yourself or order it on a turnkey basis. The first option is often chosen, since building a fence at the dacha with your own hands is not at all difficult. About how to make a simple and beautiful hedge will be discussed in this material.

Fencing options for garden plots

Types of fences for dachas can be divided into three categories: light, heavy and combined. Lightweight fences are made of wood, mesh, or corrugated sheets. Heavy ones are stone and brick. Combined ones use both light and heavy materials.

If the question arises of how to make a fence at your dacha inexpensively and quickly, then preference should be given to lightweight fencing. Such structures do not require preliminary fabrication of the foundation, and they are very easy to install with your own hands.

Fig.1.

Heavy fences are also not difficult to make yourself, but construction time and costs will increase significantly. For the reason that you will have to make a strip foundation for brick or stone masonry.

Fig.2.

Quite often, heavy fencing structures are installed on the facade of the site, and light ones are used to delimit neighboring areas. Combined types can be used in both cases.

How to make a simple site fence

Having understood the types of fences, you can proceed to the question of how to make a fence at the dacha with your own hands. Structurally, any fence consists of supporting pillars and spans. The entire construction process is divided into installing pillars and assembling spans. The construction procedure and design depend on what materials will be used. The only thing that is common is the distance between adjacent pillars and is 2 - 2.5 m.

The simplest fence at the dacha can be made from chain-link mesh. For this you will need metal poles 2.5 - 3 m long and 50 mm in diameter. You can use a regular water pipe or purchase ready-made fence posts, last option preferred. Under the pillars, holes with a depth of 1 m and a diameter of 150 - 200 mm are drilled with a garden drill in increments of 2 m. Pillars are installed in them and covered with earth, compacting it thoroughly; this option is well suited for heaving soils (clay, loam). If the soil is not heaving, then the pillars can be sealed with concrete, which can be easily prepared on site from cement, sand and crushed stone in a ratio of 1: 3: 5-7.

Fig.3.

The mesh can be attached to the supports using special hooks (possibly if special poles are installed), or with clamps if a water pipe is used.

Another option is to purchase ready set mesh fencing. It includes posts, mesh and fasteners. Putting up a fence at your dacha with your own hands using a ready-made kit will not be difficult.

The main disadvantage of such a fence is that it will not hide the area from prying eyes. To eliminate this drawback, a camouflage mesh is used for the fence at the dacha. It is stretched onto the supports along the top of the steel mesh. The camouflage mesh perfectly hides the area and does not stand out against the general background of vegetation.

Fig.4.

The disadvantage of camouflage netting is its low durability; cats and other living creatures can easily enter the area through it. They can even get stuck in it and die. Therefore, facade mesh for fences in the countryside is very popular, which has the same ease of installation, but does not have the disadvantages of camouflage. Given the variety of colors, it can become a wonderful decoration not only for the fence, but also for the entire site.

How to make a fence from corrugated sheets

Another equally popular option is fencing a summer cottage from corrugated sheets. It is somewhat more difficult to make a fence at the dacha from corrugated sheets with your own hands than from a mesh. This is due to the fact that for this fencing option, only support pillars are not enough, but horizontal crossbars are also needed, to which the corrugated sheet will be attached.

To attach a profiled sheet, you need at least 2 transverses. So that the profiled sheet holds well wind load It is advisable to install them at a distance of 1 m from each other. Therefore, for a 2-meter fence it is advisable to install 3 transverses. The first is installed at a distance of 20 - 30 cm from the ground level, the second in the middle of the support pillar, the third at the top of the pillars.

Fig.5.

A square pipe with dimensions from 20x20 to 40x40 mm or metal corner sizes from 30x30 mm.

The crossbars are traditionally attached to the support pillars by welding. If there is no welding, then you can secure them with bolts. Of course, such a connection will have less rigidity, and you will have to tinker a lot.

The corrugated sheet is fixed to assembled structure using self-tapping screws. It is good to use roofing fasteners for this purpose. It is galvanized and equipped with rubber gaskets, which extends its service life and eliminates unpleasant sounds. Which a corrugated sheet can make in the wind. Before fastening the sheet, you need to drill a hole and then secure it with a self-tapping screw.

When installing a corrugated sheet fence at your dacha, it is important to take into account one more point. It is not good if the corrugated sheet touches the ground. Due to constant moisture, it will quickly rust and lose its appearance, but leaving a gap is also not good. Therefore, the corrugated sheet is installed with a gap of 5–10 cm from the ground, and a strip of rubber 15–20 cm wide is attached to the lower edge of the corrugated sheet. The strip of rubber is buried in the ground. Thus, the corrugated sheet does not rot, and there is no gap left.

How to build a wooden fence

A beautiful fence at the dacha can be made from boards. There are many options wooden fencing plot they can be divided into two types with vertical and horizontal mounting boards

Wooden fencing, like the types discussed earlier, is installed on support posts. However, in in this case Not metal poles, but wooden ones can be used.

Timber with a cross section of 80x80 mm is usually used as wooden supports. Before fixing the timber in the ground, it must be treated to prevent rotting, otherwise the fence will not last long.

Only the part that will be below ground level can be processed. The first stage is treatment with an antiseptic, then the timber is covered with mastic and wrapped with roofing felt. Only after this can it be installed in the ground.

Under wooden poles it is necessary to drill holes at a depth lower than the freezing depth of the soil, approximately 1.2 -1.5 m. At the bottom of the hole, drainage is arranged from a layer of sand and crushed stone. After that, a wooden fence support is installed and filled with concrete.

Once all the pillars are installed, you can proceed to lining the spans. At this stage, it’s time to think about how to decorate the fence at the dacha. The main decoration is the special order of fastening facing board. There are many options, here are some of them.

Fig. 11.

We looked at what can be made from cheap fence in the country. If you want to have a stronger, more durable and impregnable fence, then your only option is to use brick or stone.

Brick fencing on a strip foundation

Brick fencing differs from the previously discussed options in the presence of a strip reinforced concrete foundation, on which a brick or masonry. All the complexity and high cost of construction lies precisely in it.

Fig. 12.

The strip foundation for a country fence is made in the same way as for a house. A shallow strip foundation is used. Its depth is approximately 50 cm.

The order of its construction is as follows:

  • A trench 70 - 80 cm deep and 20 cm wide is dug along the perimeter of the site.
  • A 20 cm layer of sand is poured onto the bottom of the trench, then a 10 - 20 cm layer of crushed stone.
  • Formwork 10–20 cm high is erected above the trench.
  • The trench and formwork are laid with roofing felt. It is necessary so that the concrete does not sink into the ground.
  • They make the strapping. Concrete reinforcement is performed with a 12 mm thick rod. The rod is installed 10 cm from the bottom of the trench and 10 cm from the top. It is fastened with wire or welding.
  • Concrete is poured. On days 2-3, the formwork is removed and the foundation is left to dry and gain strength for another 30 days.
  • After the strip foundation has dried, you can lay stone or brick.

Fig. 13.

An analogue of a strip foundation, but a simpler option is columnar foundation with a grillage. This foundation consists of piles buried below the freezing depth of the soil (1.2 - 1.5 m). Piles can serve steel pipes or special screw piles. The grillage is made of concrete. The advantage of a foundation with a grillage is that it is cheaper and less labor-intensive to manufacture.

As you can see, installing a fence at your dacha is quite simple. It is important to decide on the design and purpose. If you do not want to spend a lot of effort on installing a fence, then preference should be given to lightweight materials such as corrugated sheets, mesh or wood. If you want to have a fundamental building, then you should consider building a fence made of brick or stone, or make a combined option.

It is worth protecting your territory, if not from the encroachments of intruders, then at least from the scattering of your own living creatures around the village. And to minimize costs, you can build a fence with your own hands.

The cheapness of available materials is very relative. For example, the owner of a tire shop does not know where to put the tires, but his own sawmill is a constant supplier of sawdust and lumber. But for the average resident, searching and collecting large quantity such waste will become a problem. If the difficulties are not scary, and the neighbors are happy to chip in a couple of hundred bottles, you can learn to build your fence almost for free.

Firewood

A few cubic meters of firewood is not only heating for the whole winter, but also excellent material for the fence! Almost any tree is suitable, except birch, which rots in a couple of years. For example, oak becomes stronger from exposure to moisture, and conifers practically do not rot.

To build a wall of logs, you don’t need any special skills:

The only drawback of such buildings is their fragility, since the wood is still exposed to moisture and begins to rot over time.

Bottles

Plastic and glass bottles- a great way to not only save on building a fence, but also recycle household waste. The construction of such a barrier is extremely simple:

In addition, when heated, plastic can evaporate harmful substances, therefore it is not advisable to expose it to direct sun rays. But due to the materials used, glass fencing will last for decades, having become boring to several generations of residents.

Tires

Tires are used everywhere - as flower beds, playgrounds and even foundations. So why not make them a fence as well? For this you will need practically nothing:

The only drawback of a tire fence is that when heated, it will smell rather unpleasantly like rubber. Therefore, it is recommended to locate it far from residential premises and recreation areas.

Reliable and simple fences

Of course, traditional fences are much easier to implement. After all, carrying tires is a difficult task; your hand will get tired very quickly. But stretching a mesh between posts or putting together a wooden fence - what could be easier?

From the grid

The most common type of fence is chain-link mesh. It is used to fence gardens, large areas and even courtyards. If the appearance does not cause aesthetic delight, you can use more modern version– welded mesh. Its installation is also simple, but allows you to make the fence more neat.

To build a mesh fence you will need:

You can do the job alone, but it’s better to get an assistant:

  1. The area under future fence. To do this, reinforcement is driven into the corners, between which a string is stretched.
  2. The lower part of the pillars (150-160 cm) is coated with two layers of enamel to prevent rust.
  3. First, the corner posts are installed. A well is drilled to a depth of about 1 m and a pipe is immediately hammered into it with a sledgehammer for another 30 cm. After which the post is immediately covered with sand and crushed stone, spilled with water and thoroughly compacted.
  4. The column spacing is up to 3 m.
  5. Since a mesh fence is lightweight and does not have a high windage capacity, it is better not to concrete posts buried above the freezing level of the soil. Otherwise, the concrete will be “squeezed out” along with the post and the fence will begin to wobble after the first winter.
  6. If you need to make reliable supports, wells are drilled to a depth of 1.5 m, a sand and gravel cushion is poured onto the bottom, formwork is made from roofing felt, a pipe is clogged and filled with concrete.
  7. After all the pillars are installed, the deformed tops are cut off and the mesh is stretched. It can be attached to poles using welded hooks, wire or mounting ties.
  8. If the mesh is installed with reinforcement drawn in, then after securing it to the poles, a steel rod is threaded through the cells and welded to the pipes. This will increase the strength of the fence and prevent the mesh from sagging.
  9. The posts and corners are treated with anti-rust enamel and painted. To simplify the work, it is better to use a paint sprayer - using a brush will take longer and be less economical.

And to make the fence look interesting and unusual, it can be decorated with wire weaving. It’s so nice to go out into the yard, fenced with a real work of art!

From corrugated sheets

Corrugated sheeting is durable and relatively inexpensive material. You can choose a colored coating of almost any color, and even a novice builder can handle the installation:

  1. For corrugated sheeting, you will need pillars buried below freezing of the soil and concreted. On heaving soil, to prevent subsidence of the pillars, it is better to expand the supports according to the TISE foundation type.
  2. As with the construction of a mesh fence, before burying the posts, the pipes must be treated with a rust-preventing primer.
  3. When the foundation has completely hardened, they weld it to the pillars. cross beams– profiled pipes 4x2 cm. They should be located 4 cm from the upper and lower edges of the corrugated sheet. For fences up to 170 cm high, two crossbars are enough, but if the fence is higher, you need to make a third one in the middle.
  4. All metal parts are treated with a primer - this is problematic to do after installing the corrugated sheeting.
  5. The corrugated sheets are attached to the joists with metal screws with an overlap into the wave.

If you line the posts with brick, the fence will look more presentable. To do this, use 4 bricks, laid in a circle at intervals. Each row of bricks is checked for level in two planes so that the pillars do not turn out oblique. A sand-cement mixture is poured inside around the pipe.

In this case, the metal racks are covered with bricks along with welded lags. This is much more reliable than trying to fix the leagues on facing brick after completion of the masonry.
You can decorate the fence from the inside with tall living plants. In the meantime, while the thujas are growing, you can stretch the photo grid.

Its service life is 3-4 years, after which it will begin to fade. But during this time the planted bushes and trees will have time to rise.

Made of wood

Wooden fences are traditional for countryside areas. After all, you can find construction material at an extremely attractive price, but if you look hard enough at sawmills, illiquid goods with pickup will cost practically nothing.

To build a wooden fence you will need:

  • hand circular saw;
  • screwdriver and screws or hammer and nails;
  • grinding machine or grinding wheel and grinder;
  • spray gun;
  • gas drill or shovel.

Installing a wooden fence is attractive due to its simplicity:

For such a fence, the selection of boards is important - they must be free of flaws and cracks. A planed board looks much neater, but any 2 cm thick board is suitable.

The only drawback of wood is its short service life. On the other hand, repairing individual sections of such a fence is much easier!

Original fences

It is better for a novice builder to try his hand at simple objects. But for those who have already eaten the dog in the construction of fences, there are several non-standard options that will surprise your neighbors and please your loved ones!

Stone

Stone masonry, despite its apparent simplicity, is much more complex in execution than brick. Dry stone masonry will be a real challenge for masons. To do this around the edges future wall install two trapezoids, between which a string is stretched - this will be a guide during laying.

The trapezoidal shape of the fence is needed so that the stones do not start to crumble, because they are held only by their own weight. The main difficulty in such construction is to select the right stones so that the rows do not deviate from the horizontal.

Gabion fences are becoming increasingly popular. For their device you will need finished design installed on compacted soil with concreted supports - the weight of the fence is decent. And so that during the process of filling the cage with stones the structure does not burst, after each row the mesh is fastened with special hooks.

Alive

And if you are not afraid of the fact that it will take more than one year for a meter-long boxwood hedge to grow, you can begin to implement this idea.

First of all, you need to decide on the height of the desired fence:

  • tall - thuja, maple, juniper, serviceberry are suitable;
  • medium - rowan, euonymus, barberry are used;
  • low - you can plant boxwood, cinquefoil, yew.

For tall hedges, deciduous fast-growing shrubs are often chosen. After all, you want to protect yourself from prying eyes as quickly as possible, and not in ten years. But in the future you will have to trim such a wall very often, otherwise you may find yourself hidden behind a five-meter fence. Another advantage of deciduous hedges is that the leaves that fall in the fall allow you to receive maximum light from the meager winter sun.

You should not believe the photos that show one and a half meter boxwood hedges - it took more than two decades to form them. You can purchase already grown bushes, but the cost of such a fence will be far from affordable.

Wicker

Wattle fence is a traditional fence, today undeservedly forgotten. Designs from artificial rattan, costing a lot of money.

But it’s very easy to build it with your own hands:

A house fenced with such a fence will become a cozy family nest.

Forged

Forged fences attract attention with their openwork and airiness. This great option For small plot allowing you to visually expand the space.

Of course, you can’t do this without a good farrier. But it’s very easy to install ready-made spans:

  • a foundation with pillars is poured, the distance between which is equal to the finished spans;
  • when the concrete has hardened, forged elements are welded to the pillars;
  • hinges for wickets and gates are welded;
  • The fence is primed and painted.

Very simple and inexpensive option Fence devices for fencing the site are shown in detail and clearly in the video:

The need to build a new fence arises not only from those who have just bought a summer cottage. Sometimes you just need to replace an outdated fence with a new one. At a dacha of six acres, the fence must perform all its functions, be neat and attractive. Well, there is no need to make expensive luxurious fencing there! So the happy owners of summer cottages are puzzled about what to make a fence from in a day. Usually for dacha work we choose weekends. That’s why I want to install the fence in one day. Based on the experience of some summer residents who talk about their summer cottage achievements on the Internet, we can highlight several of the easiest options.

Fence from wooden picket fence with wooden veins - one of the options for “quick” installations

Budget frame option

For anyone simple fence we need the same simple and cheap frame. Most a budget option– wooden or metal poles. Most often for this purpose they are used with a round or square cross-section, with a diameter of 50 to 100 mm. For light fence you can use a pipe with a smaller diameter, for heavy filling you need a pipe large diameter. The distance between the support pillars is made from 2 to 2.5 meters.

To reduce the cost of the fence construction process, you can use old water pipes, cleaning them from rust and carrying out anti-corrosion treatment.

The beauty of light, simple fences is that support posts are installed quickly, because they are not needed. It is enough to dig holes about 1 meter deep, dig supports into them, and compact the earth around well.

To secure the fence, you need to install horizontal jumpers. Wooden lintels can be attached to pre-welded elements. Other methods are fastening with bolts or using clamps and steel mesh. Now you can begin installing the fence itself.

Fence mesh galvanized chain-link

This is one of the most available options fence installation in 1 day. Despite its low cost, chain-link mesh has a lot of advantages:

  • Resistance to climate disasters
  • Reliability
  • Strength

  • Smooth reinforcement 3 meters high and 16 mm in diameter is painted to prevent corrosion processes.
  • Such posts are driven 1 meter into the ground using a sledgehammer at a distance of 2 meters from each other.
  • All columns are connected to each other with twine in 4 lines
  • A cable is pulled along the top with a slight slack
  • Throw over the top of the structure façade mesh, grabbing bottom part twine

To prevent the wind from tearing the façade mesh, it is grabbed only at the bottom, without being screwed to the posts. Experience shows that such a fence can withstand strong gusts of wind and snow loads.
