"The Wagner Case"

Friedrich Nietzsche is a unique figure in the field of philosophy. His works have received worldwide recognition and are still the subject of heated debate. Nietzsche's positions are applicable to many areas of life, but the question of their correctness and universality is decided by each for himself.

Rethinking the traditional position of the subject in philosophy, Nietzsche became a pioneer, a pioneer of oppositional philosophy, which opposes itself to other studies.

The works of Friedrich Nietzsche cover various fields of science and are not united into a system, which makes it possible to comprehend the position of the philosopher from several angles.

The values of compassion, mercy were for Nietzsche a sign of decline and weakness. Only the will to live and to power, endlessly rushing forward, can become that healthy morality that will lead to triumph.

Nietzsche has earned himself a reputation as an excellent stylist, which helps to put his thoughts in the right form. The praise of "free minds", the desire to be free from all accepted conventions in matters of culture, religion and much more, shaped the views of Friedrich Nietzsche. His pragmatic approach to life and morality expressed the utmost clarity of concepts and definitions.

The will to power, considered as the main engine of human development, is for Nietzsche the highest value on which progress must be based.

The work I read "On the Benefits and Harms of History for Life" left a deep impression on me. The views expressed in this essay can make us rethink our views on the role of history in our lives and think about the structure of time, about what is the past and what is the future. Time is one of the most mysterious matters, and history, which studies time and the development of the world over time, is one of the most interesting and inexhaustible sciences.

I agree that a person or an entire nation cannot be judges of the past, but can only consign it to oblivion in order to build the future from scratch.

Like Nietzsche, I believe that a historian must possess both precision and depth of thought and simplicity of its expression.

Despite some complexity of the language of the work, the main ideas are formulated clearly and elegantly, which allows you to understand their essence as consciously as possible.

My thoughts after reading this work took the same direction as that of the author, I was imbued with the ideas and positions expressed in the work. The questions and answers that we find in "On the benefits and harms of history for life" deserve to become part of the life philosophy of every person.

Friedrich Nietzsche's essay "Wagner's Case" reflects a difficult period in the life of the philosopher. A short but mutually understanding friendship with Richard Wagner had an extremely strong influence on Nietzsche. The two friends became close thanks to the same ideals, the desire for pure truth and common interests, for example, love for the work of Arthur Schopenhauer. Nietzsche became for Wagner practically a member of the family. The more painful was the gap that occurred between two prominent people three years after they met. Nietzsche accused Wagner of betraying his own principles and values, of indulging the interests of the general public, of renouncing ideals. The adoption of Christianity by Wagner also outraged Friedrich Nietzsche and contributed to the destruction of friendship. Sharp criticism of each other became a frequent manifestation of the mutual frustration of Nietzsche and Wagner. The beginning of this stage of enmity was the composer's statement that Nietzsche's book "Human, all too human" is nothing more than a sad testimony to the author's illness. Friedrich Nietzsche's essay "Wagner's Case" is not a direct response to such criticism. Neither Wagner nor Nietzsche would stoop to mutual derogatory remarks about each other, caused only by the desire to inject a former friend more painfully. Such behavior is unworthy of great minds, therefore the essay "The Wagner Case" is an example of the author's outstanding self-sacrifice and self-denial. It is not easy to admit that the person with whom you recently shared common ideals has betrayed them. It is not easy to accept your own loneliness, when until recently there was someone you considered your ally next to you.

Nietzsche defines music as more than just an art designed to please the ear and the soul. No, the author equates music with philosophy! "Have you noticed that music makes the mind free? Gives wings to thought? That you become the more a philosopher, the more you become a musician?" The ability to find answers to questions in music, to make it your medicine or, conversely, poison is inherent in few people. Only an outstanding mind responds to the call of music, understands all hidden motives, reads between musical lines.

"Wagner is not the only savior." From this statement, we can conclude that Wagner's music once delighted and saved Nietzsche himself, but there is no longer a trace of this. The author elevates the brave and ingenious Bizet with his new sensuality and gaiety, who replaced refined sentimentality.

An important point in the essay is the author's reasoning about love. How does Nietzsche understand love, what does he put into this concept, about which so much has already been said? An amazing discovery awaits us, one of those revelations that are given when reading outstanding works. So love is hate! This oxymoron also finds expression in the opera Carmen, where only a thin line separates insane passion and murder. Love is not pseudo-sacrifice, under the mask of which egoism and the desire to undividedly own the object of one's passion are hidden. This is how many artists understand love, including Wagner. But Nietzsche dismisses this idea as fundamentally wrong, asserting the motto that love is war. It is born by nature itself and is not subject to selfish and selfish aspirations. She is cynical, sometimes cruel, but by no means artificial. Only such an understanding of love is worthy of a philosopher.

Another accusation thrown by Nietzsche to Wagner is the reproach that Wagner leads the listener away from the real world, clouding our minds with naive illusions. Nietzsche is wary of the ideas and problems of Wagner's works, considering them unacceptably stereotypical and sentimental. Nietzsche states that Wagner defends the Christian concept "you must and must believe." Friedrich Nietzsche was far from religious dogmas and concepts, and in this case, such a position of Wagner can only cause him misunderstanding and indignation. Clarity and truth, the validity of actions are the values that Nietzsche followed, and the renunciation of knowledge is for him the highest crime. The philosopher asks questions, the answers to which can hardly be found in the works of Wagner. Nietzsche convicts the composer of illogicality, naivete, departure from reality into the world of fantasy.

Nietzsche's attitude to women is interesting, as expressed in the essay Wagner's Casus. Citing examples from the works of Richard Wagner, Nietzsche categorically rejects the exaltation of the image of the Lady in them. The philosopher is deeply disgusted by the blind admiration of the strong masculine principle before the vague image of the Eternally Feminine.

Friedrich Nietzsche speaks with irony about the revival of Goethe's work by Wagner. The "unclean spirit" that Goethe was supposed to be saved by Wagner! But saved how? Not selflessly lifted from the depths of public contempt, but only refreshed, because Wagner still takes the side of the "higher maiden" ...

What is "holiness" for Nietzsche? This is a landmark that the crowd recognizes, but he himself does not recognize. An ideal for the short-sighted - that's what holiness is! Infinitely far from philosophy.

Another accusation leveled at Wagner is his belief in a saving revolution. Let's destroy the old order - and disasters will disappear! This idea is developed in Wagner's "The Ring". The emancipation of women, the declaration of war on the old treaties, the pursuit of everything unconventional are the goals of the hero Siegfried. But there is optimism here, "impious optimism," as Schopenhauer calls it. Nietzsche is relieved that Wagner's Ring was saved by Schopenhauer.

Friedrich Nietzsche asks the question: "Is Wagner a man at all? Isn't he rather a disease?" After all, "he made sick music." He won over to his side by no means the poor in spirit! He persuaded many to his own ideals, won great fame, gained unprecedented power, enveloping people with illusions!

Nietzsche wonders why people do not see the essence of Wagner's work. He sees in this a sign of the decline and decay of society, a general European decadence! And it sounds like an accusation. An accusation of exorbitant selfishness when those who revere Wagner thereby satisfy their own vanity. Wagner attracts the emaciated because he intensifies the emaciation. He brings to the stage the problems of hysterical heroes, glorifies inconstancy and hypertrophied effects, expresses hypersensitivity, unusual for the real world with its imperfections. Wagner is the main protagonist of decadence, a hero of that time, sung by the same sick and emaciated people as himself. "Wagner is a great corruption for music," says Nietzsche. Criticizing the very time that gave birth to such a hero, he criticizes everything: society, art, morals.

Beauty according to Nietzsche will not find a place in such a time. What should she do in a world where only the sublime, exalted and solemn finds a response in the souls? In a world where everyone needs something deep and motivating and, having received it, they do not require anything else. In a world in which thought itself is not needed, but only the feeling that it is about to be born is needed. So let's be solemn! Majestic! Let's elevate passion to the absolute, make others tremble! Let's reject what's hard! casus wagner nietzsche work

Nietzsche treats idealism with irony. He does not understand it, does not see the truth in it. But the time, which glorified Wagner, needs idealism. He needs to hide his own vices behind lofty matters, behind lofty feelings and noble motives.

"Let's never allow music to serve as a source of relaxation; that it amuses; that it gives pleasure! - we are lost if they start thinking about art hedonistically..." These words fully reflect Nietzsche's attitude to music. No rest, no relaxation! The philosopher hates hedonism. There are good reasons for this, because the idea of the superman, expressed by Nietzsche, does not involve obtaining pleasure as the meaning of existence. The main goal is the will, the desire for truth.

The general decline of art worries Nietzsche. The transformation of the musician, who, according to Nietzsche, should be a philosopher, into an actor, a hypocrite trying on masks, is another problem of society, a product of the newly acquired philosophy of pleasure. It is not the art itself that develops, but the ability to lie, elevated to the rank of art. This expresses the mutilation and inferiority of society.

Even literature is going through hard times. The whole ceases to be whole. Nietzsche was not a supporter of the system, he believed that a great mind is able to disobey it, but in this case we are not talking about the system, but about unity and integrity. It is integrity that leads to truth, if it does not exist, but only vague reasoning darkens our consciousness and plunges us into the abyss of anarchy, then what will happen to literature? What will happen to this kind of art when the word jumps out of order and becomes independent?

The poverty of Wagner's art is expressed in the fact that he is only capable of details, but not of the overall picture and meaning. But, no matter how precise the little things are, the main thing should be the Idea, which will determine the very meaning of the creation of the work. Wagner is incapable of organic creativity, incapable of style. Nietzsche reproaches Wagner for applying principles where there is no ability, but here I beg to differ with him. No matter how the desire for the ideal is glorified, it is infinite and unattainable, since the ideal does not exist. There is no perfect genius. So is it worth accusing anyone of replacing abilities with principles, if the very idea that there is a certain comprehensively gifted person, capable of everything, contradicts the very nature and very understanding of man?

Suddenly Nietzsche, after all the criticisms of Wagner, recognizes another facet of the composer. Not the Wagner who created deliberately and falsely solemn art, but the one who became a jeweler who created a masterpiece for music. For the first time in an essay, Friedrich Nietzsche openly acknowledges Wagner's virtue, his talent, his strengths in creativity. It is the acting nature of Wagner that Nietzsche recognizes as dominant, and this conclusion, alas, is not in favor of the composer. Nietzsche does not accept actors, does not accept their art of lying, their striving to force non-existent fantasies into our heads.

But there is also the Wagner actor whom Nietzsche condemns. For pathos, for tyranny, for the heavy curtain of their works, behind which there is nothing.

The definition that plays a big role in the essay "The Wagner Case" is Wagnerians. Who are they? The author himself gives us the answer: they are numb, pale, lifeless young men! Romantics who do not recognize their romanticism, reveling in the poison of self-created illusions and exalting the one who makes them better. These young men are the decadents. So what is decadence?

Many scholars define decadence as a generalization of the crisis phenomena of European culture in the second half of the 19th century.

Decadence was characterized by such phenomena as: despondency, pessimism, hopelessness. This complex creative phenomenon manifested itself in almost all areas of culture and creativity. It was precisely because of decadence that creativity in the second half of the 19th century was filled with subjectivism and clichés, and it is precisely these clichés that Friedrich Nietzsche condemns in assessing not only Wagner’s work, but also in evaluating creativity and culture in general.

Art abandoned in that period from political and civic themes. Decadent artists considered the freedom to choose a theme for their works an indispensable condition for freedom of creativity. Constant themes are the motives of non-existence and death, the denial of historically established spiritual ideals and values.

It is against decadence that Nietzsche's criticism is directed. He believes that Wagner belongs to the decadents and therefore condemns him, condemns his work and his followers.

Friedrich Nietzsche does not recognize Wagner's natural ability for music. He believes that the composer overcame nature, rejected the laws. He became an innovator of the first rank, he introduced as many new things into music as no one introduced. But he turned music into a language, made it acting and dramatic. And Nietzsche condemns this drama. He condemns the elementary nature of music, the desire for indispensable action.

He compares Wagner with Schiller, condemning both Schiller's and Wagner's inherent arrogance and contempt for the world, which, as Nietzsche believed, they both throw at their feet. Nietzsche believes that Wagner's music is not true, but it is considered as such by his admirers. Moreover, Wagner, according to Nietzsche, does not bother himself too much with detailed thinking and elaboration of the scenes of his works. As Nietzsche says, “A strong scene comes to his mind, from which he already extracts characters ...

Wagner probably judged "the one for the need" in much the same way as every other actor judges today: a series of strong scenes, one stronger than the other - and interspersed with many smart nonsense"

Nietzsche accuses Wagner precisely of wanting only to impress the public, to shock it and glorify himself in this way.

But Friedrich Nietzsche condemns not only Wagner as an author, but also the public that is ready to worship him after listening to his works. Nietzsche believes that Wagner's work is also too mythological and heroic, has no particular connection with reality. As proof of this thesis, Nietzsche cites Parsifal from Wagner's opera of the same name. Nietzsche considers this plot too divorced from reality and condemns it. Indeed, such isolation of the plots of Wagner's works is a typical manifestation of decadence. Wagner separates his heroes and heroines from reality so much that he does not allow the heroines to have children! This does not fit into the concept of the heroic epic according to Wagner. Nietzsche condemns precisely such details that distance Wagner's works from life. But it would be wrong to think that Nietzsche condemns only Wagner for his escape from reality. He condemns through Wagner all the decadents who, according to Nietzsche, are too out of touch with reality and absolutely incapable of leading a normal life. In this, I completely agree with Friedrich Nietzsche, because even now, in the 21st century, there are entire subcultures that promote escape from reality and locking into oneself or in a certain subculture.

Nietzsche also criticizes Schopenhauer, whom he previously called the savior of Wagner. He writes with irony about Schopenhauer's accusations against the world. The pessimism of Schopenhauer, which was once so close to Nietzsche, is now seen by the philosopher as unfair falsehood, hypocrisy. And Hegel? Hegel is a taste! Misunderstood by Wagner, who dared to present himself as Hegel's heir.

For Wagner, music is a means, not a philosophy. And he conquered people with an idea, not with music. He carried away the minds, giving them a ghostly hope for understanding. But this music lacks lightness, grace. There is no place in the history of such music. It is neither the past nor the future, it is the corrupted present, the symbol of the age of decadents, the triumph of acting over melody. Only by becoming an actor will you find success with the crowd. And authenticity is not needed, it would be pretense - a sign of decadence and corruption of the time. Let art entertain us, save us from boredom, give the illusion of self-improvement! Taste is not needed, talents are forgotten - give us complexity, drama, ideal!

Nietzsche blames Wagner, blames time for bringing up such a hero. But he does not blame his admirers. Recognizes Wagner's right to a noble influence on minds.

Wagner is the commander. He commands, dictates, influences. He is a tyrant and a teacher. He has surpassed everyone! He made everyone believe in something that isn't there.

"Adherence to Wagner comes at a cost." Nietzsche develops this idea already in addition to the essay, as if summing up his reasoning. There is a fog of vague understanding in the air, it does not dissipate, but people have simply learned not to notice it. Wagner is expensive, but he won! Wagner weakened the instincts! He made us forget about obstacles! There is no more resistance. So why did the Germans surrender? Isn't this another sign of decadence?

Nietzsche's discourses about Germany and the Germans deserve special consideration. The philosopher endows the Germans with special qualities, shares them with the French, naive followers of the revolution. Was Wagner a German, asks Nietzsche. Is he the son of this people? But is Nietzsche's assertion that the Germans are "the most backward civilized people of Europe" true? Can one dare to say so when Germany gave the world Schopenhauer, Goethe, Hegel, Heine, Schiller and many others?

In addition to his essay, Friedrich Nietzsche uses an anaphora, or unity of command, beginning each paragraph with the words "Adherence to Wagner comes at a cost." Nietzsche accuses Wagner of being the cause of the misguidance of the Germans - such a serious accusation, no doubt, requires proof, and Nietzsche provides them to us in full. Was it not Wagner who pushed the service of art into the background, raising faith in an unattainable ideal into a cult? Wagner spoiled culture, made music sick. When the composer died, a wreath was placed on his grave with the words "Salvation for the savior", and someone immediately added an amendment: "Salvation from the savior." It sounds cynical, but isn't that what real philosophy should be? How else can you see the essence of things when the vision is clouded by morality and ethics?

The Savior is gone. What is left after him?

The main question that gives rise to the essay is: what is the Wagner incident? Nietzsche answers this question only at the very end. The Wagner incident is that Wagner has ruined art! Spoiled the taste, conquered the crowd, penetrated into the minds of people. And people calmly accepted it, submitted to the actor, voluntarily deteriorated. And all thanks to flattery and illusions. It is human nature that we consider good that which gives us the illusion of a better life. This is the incident of Wagner, which remained a mystery for the time of decadence and denounced by Nietzsche. Friedrich Nietzsche does not call on people to come to their senses. He only states that the time that gave birth to such a protagonist cannot be saved and cannot be persuaded. People themselves made their choice in favor of the solemn and majestic, they went the easy way. Such behavior is not only worthy of criticism, because it is natural. But how difficult it is for Nietzsche to realize that people have turned out to be blind to the consequences! They let Wagner, a sorcerer and an old robber, bewitch and rob them! They proclaimed it high style and betrayed the very concept of "high style"!

The whole essay is filled with pain and experiences of the philosopher. He is like a patient, delirious and trying to snatch elusive thoughts from the abyss of betraying consciousness. This style is typical for the writings of Friedrich Nietzsche, but here we see not only a militant appeal and denunciation, but a personal tragedy, self-denial. A real philosopher is not afraid of loneliness, but it is always difficult and scary to be left alone with his ideals in a cruel era of decline. Nevertheless, such an outstanding personality as Nietzsche finds in himself the strength to move on, to pursue the truth, to strive for unattainable perfection.

The essay I read left a deep impression on me, made me think and not only analyze the phenomena described by philosophers, but also take a fresh look at the modern world, try to understand Nietzsche's logic and apply it in my own life.

A selection of biblical quotes that unequivocally condemn homosexuality.

God's attitude towards unnatural same-sex relationships is for the first time in the Bible expressed in the history of the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, which "... having been subjected to the punishment of eternal fire, are set as an example" (Epistle of Jude 1:7).

As the Holy Scripture writes, "The inhabitants of Sodom were evil and very sinful before the Lord" (Genesis 13:13), and "... the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and their sin is very heavy" (Genesis 18:20-21 ). And when the Lord decided to destroy these cities, "Abraham said: Let not the Lord be angry, what will I say one more time: maybe there will be ten (righteous. - Approx.)? He said: I will not destroy for the sake of ten" (Genesis 18:32 ). But, alas, there were not even ten righteous people there, except for Lot, for all "... from young to old, all the people from all parts of the city" (Genesis 19:4), were struck by an unnatural vice. "And the Lord rained on Sodom and Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord from heaven" (Genesis 19:24), completely destroying the people, "acting haughtily, obviously doing evil, and set them as an example for posterity"(Third Maccabees 2:5).

The desired events unfolded like this:

"And the Lord said, The cry of Sodom and Gomorrah, great is it, and their sin, it is very heavy; I will go down and see whether they do exactly what the cry against them, which ascends to Me, or not; I will know. And the men turned from there and went to Sodom, while Abraham was still standing before the Lord, and Abraham came up and said, Will You destroy the righteous with the wicked [and it will be with the righteous as with the wicked]? Perhaps there are fifty righteous in this city? and you will not spare [the whole] place for the sake of fifty righteous people, [if they are] in it? It cannot be that You did so that You would destroy the righteous with the wicked, so that it would be the same with the righteous as with the wicked; be from You! Will the Judge of all the earth act unjustly? The Lord said: If I find fifty righteous people in the city of Sodom, then I will spare [the whole city and] the whole place for their sake. Abraham answered and said: Behold, I have decided to speak to the Lord, I , dust and ashes: maybe up to fifty righteous people if you get five, will you destroy the whole city for lack of five? He said: I will not destroy if I find forty-five there. Abraham continued to speak to Him and said: Perhaps forty will be found there? He said: I will not do this even for the sake of forty. And Abraham said: May the Lord not be angry, what will I say: maybe there will be thirty there? He said, I won't do it if there are thirty there. Abraham said: behold, I decided to say to the Lord: maybe there are twenty there? He said: I will not destroy for the sake of twenty. Abraham said: May the Lord not be angry, what will I say one more time: maybe there will be ten there? He said: I will not destroy for the sake of ten. And the Lord went, ceasing to speak with Abraham; Abraham returned to his place (Gen. 18:20-33).

And those two angels came to Sodom in the evening, while Lot was setting at the gate of Sodom. Lot saw, and rose to meet them, and bowed his face to the ground, and said, My lords! go into your servant's house and spend the night, and wash your feet, and rise in the morning and go on your way. But they said: no, we spend the night on the street. He begged them strongly; and they went to him and came to his house. He made them a feast and baked unleavened bread, and they ate. They had not yet gone to bed, like the inhabitants of the city, Sodomites, from young to old, all the people from all parts of the city, surrounded the house and called Lot and said to him: where are the people who came to you at night? bring them to us; we get to know them. Lot went out to them at the entrance, and locked the door behind him, and said [to them]: My brothers, do no harm; here I have two daughters who have not known a husband; I'd rather bring them out to you, do with them what you please, only don't do anything to these people, since they came under the shelter of my house. But they said to [him]: Come here. And they said: here is a stranger, and wants to judge? now we will deal worse with you than with them. And they came very close to this man, to Lot, and came up to break down the door. Then the men stretched out their hands and brought Lot into their house, and locked the door [of the house]; and the people who were at the entrance to the house were smitten with blindness, from the smallest to the greatest, so that they were exhausted, looking for an entrance. The men said to Lot, Who else do you have here? son-in-law, whether your sons, whether your daughters, and whoever you have in the city, bring everyone out of this place, for we will destroy this place, because the cry is great against its inhabitants to the Lord, and the Lord sent us to destroy it. And Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who took his daughters for themselves, and said, Get up, get out of this place, for the Lord will destroy this city. But his sons-in-law thought he was joking. When the dawn broke, the angels began to hasten Lot, saying, Get up, take your wife and your two daughters that you have, so that you do not perish for the iniquities of the city. And as he tarried, those [Angels], by the mercy of the Lord, took him by the hand, and his wife, and his two daughters, and brought him out and set him outside the city. And when they brought them out, one of them said, Save your soul; do not look back and do not stop anywhere in this neighborhood; flee to the mountain lest you perish. But Lot said to them: No, Lord! Behold, Your servant has found favor in Your sight, and great is Your mercy, which You have done with me, that You have saved my life; but I cannot escape to the mountain, so that trouble does not overtake me and I do not die; behold, it is closer to run to this city, it is small; I will run there, - he is small; and my life will be saved [for your sake]. And he said to him, Behold, I will do this also to please you: I will not overthrow the city of which you speak; make haste, save yourself there, for I cannot do the work until you get there. That is why this city is called Sigor. The sun rose over the earth, and Lot came to Segor. And the Lord rained on Sodom and Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord from heaven, and overthrew these cities, and all this region, and all the inhabitants of these cities, and [all] the growth of the earth. Lot's wife looked behind him and became a pillar of salt. And Abraham got up early in the morning [and went] to the place where he stood before the face of the Lord, and looked towards Sodom and Gomorrah and all the expanse of the region and saw: behold, smoke rises from the earth, like smoke from a furnace. And it came to pass, when God was destroying [all] the cities of this region, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of destruction, when he overthrew the cities in which Lot dwelt" (Genesis 19:1-29).

Later, leading the Jews into the "Promised Land", God warned: "If anyone lies with a man as with a woman, then both of them have done an abomination: let them be put to death, their blood is on them" (Leviticus 20:13), then He once again emphasizes: "Do not walk according to the customs of the people that I drive out from you; for they did all this, and I resented them(Leviticus 20:23).

Sodom and/or Gomorrah is mentioned in a negative context by the prophets Isaiah (Is. 1:9-10, Is. 3:9, Is. 13:19), Jeremiah (Jer. 23:14, Jer. 19:18, Jer. 50:40, Lamentations 4:6), Ezekiel (Ezek. 16:46-56), Amos (Amos 4:11) and Zephaniah (Zeph. 2-9).

More than once I had to read the statements of apologists for sodomy and lesbianism that the reason for God's wrath against the Sodomites and Gomorrahs is not their unnatural inclinations, but ... inhospitality and generally their evil disposition. To which they can quote the words of St. Apostle Jude (not Iscariot): "As Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, like them committed fornication and went after INOYU flesh, subjected to the punishment of eternal fire, are set as an example ... "(The Epistle of Jude. 1: 7), clearly confirming the true reason for the destruction of cities - the spread of unnatural sexual relations in them, combined with fornication. The expression for "other flesh" should not be understood , as heterosexual relationships, because "those who fornicated and went for INOYU flesh" - would look like a tautology - "butter oil".

This is confirmed by the words of St. Apostle Peter: "... and if the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, having condemned to destruction, turned into ashes, setting an example for future wicked, and the righteous Lot, weary of the conversion between people violently depraved delivered (for this righteous man, living among them, daily tormented in a righteous soul, seeing and hearing lawless deeds) "(Second Epistle of the Apostle Peter. 2: 6-8).

The Holy Apostle Paul explained reason occurrence of sexual perversions in humans:

“But how, having known God, they did not glorify Him as God, and were not thankful, but became vain in their thoughts, and their foolish heart was darkened; calling themselves wise, they became foolish, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image like corruptible man, and birds, and four-footed animals, and creeping things, then God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that they defiled their own bodies. God gave them over to shameful passions: their women changed their natural use to that which was unnatural; similarly, the men, leaving the natural use of the female sex, were inflamed with lust for one another, men doing shame on men and receiving in themselves the due retribution for their error.

And just as they did not care to have God in their minds, God gave them over to a perverse mind to do indecency, so that they are full of all unrighteousness, fornication, deceit, greed, malice, full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malevolence, blasphemers, slanderers, haters of God. , offenders, boasters, proud, inventive for evil, disobedient to parents, reckless, treacherous, unloving, implacable, unmerciful. They know the righteous judgment of God, that those who do such things are worthy of death; yet not only do they do it, but those who do it are approved” (Romans 1:21-32)

It seems that the pendulum of history has swung deeply back: "They know the righteous judgment of God, that those who do such things are worthy of death; but not only do they do it, but those who do it are approved" (Rom. 19:32). How relevant are these words spoken 2000 years ago!!! Holland, Denmark, USA, Canada, South Africa, Spain, UK… which country is next to legalize Sodomy marriages?

“Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? (First Corinthians 6:9).

And remember: "We know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully, knowing that the law is not made for the righteous, but for the lawless and rebellious, the ungodly and sinners, the depraved and defiled, for the offenders of father and mother, for murderers, for fornicators, sodomists, predators, (slanderers, bestialists,) liars, perjurers, and for everything that is contrary to sound doctrine, according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was entrusted to me" (1 Timothy 1: 8-11).

Due to the fact that humanity has been living in the biblical informational "matrix" for many centuries, today it is difficult to find a person who would not have heard anything about the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and about the tragic death of all their inhabitants.

It so happened that all kinds of peddlers of religious propaganda were able to inspire us all over time that it was the Lord God himself who once decided to wipe out two ancient Canaanite cities and all their inhabitants from the face of the earth when he saw terrible debauchery there ... Remember, these cities were Canaanite , says the Bible! The so-called Canaanites lived in them ...

Thanks to religious propaganda, the name of one of these lost cities described in the Bible even became a scientific term, which to this day is used to refer to all sexual vices.

"Sodomy(from French sodomie), Sodomy sin - a historical term, a hypernym for various forms of sexual behavior, assessed as deviant, and having a theological and legal connotation ... The term goes back to the biblical story of the death of Sodom and Gomorrah and was introduced in the 11th century by a theologian Peter Damiani. .

I recently managed to find out that the dirty story of Sodom and Gomorrah is the false testimony of the Jews to the history of the ancient Slavic cities that died from a natural cataclysm! It turns out that the Jews in their religious literature use the term "Canaan" or "Canaanites" to refer to the descendants of today's Slavs! Here is such a historical "trick". It turns out that it was about our ancestors that the Jews composed a fairy tale, that they, they say, were mired in debauchery and pederasty, for which the Lord punished them ...

So, so that you understand what I understood, I will tell you everything in order ...

Bible story

For the first time, Sodom and Gomorrah is mentioned as the southeastern tip Canaan, located east of Gaza, while the land here is called the eastern bank Jordan river Here (according to legend) came Lot, the nephew of Abraham. The Bible even says that Jerusalem borders Sodom on the south and southeast sides. The inhabitants of Sodom were called Philistines (or Canaanites in the Jewish manner), and the king of the city was a monarch named Ber. .

"Christian theology considers homosexual relationship the fundamental sin of Sodom and Gomorrah. The events that took place in Sodom and Gomorrah are considered as an attempt to commit a sin of a sexual nature, including due to the double use of the Hebrew verb yada (knew) in the Bible text, used to describe actions of a sexual nature.
When commenting on the story of Sodom and Gomorrah, Christian authors may mention other sins or aggravating circumstances. In particular, Robert A. J. Gagnon writes that the severity of the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah consisted, among other things, in an attempt to sexually abuse guests, priest Lev Shikhlyarov - that the behavior of the Sodomites testifies not only to sexual, but mainly to spiritual perversion , hatred and cruelty. Thus, Sodom and Gomorrah have become common nouns in Christian theology to denote an extreme degree of sexual immorality (sodomy) or extreme depravity and impudent sinfulness. In culture, Sodom and Gomorrah have become a symbol of depravity, immorality and divine retribution, and Sodom itself is associated with sodomy.

All attempts by archaeologists to find the dead cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were unsuccessful.

Since Sodom and Gomorrah are widely known even to non-religious people, many times attempts have been made to learn more about their location and finally find evidence that they existed. So, not far from the Dead Sea, on its southwestern shore, there are mountains that consist mainly of rock salt and are called Sodomites. It would seem that this should be somehow connected with the biblical city, but in reality there is no reliable data on why such a name was chosen.

The interest in the biblical story is so wide that in the period from 1965 to 1979 five attempts were made to find the city that perished because of the sins of its inhabitants, but they were unsuccessful. The history of Sodom and Gomorrah did not leave indifferent Russian scientists who, together with the Jordanians, tried to discover what was left of the ancient city.

Expedition of Michael Sanders

In 2000, British scientist Michael Sanders became the leader of an archaeological expedition aimed at finding the destroyed cities. Their work was based on images taken from the US Space Shuttle. According to these pictures, the city could be located to the northeast of the Dead Sea, contrary to all data from the Bible. Scientists believed that they had managed to find the most accurate location of Sodom, the ruins of which, in their opinion, are located at the bottom of the Dead Sea.

jordan valley

Some scholars also believe that the ancient ruins located at Tell el-Hammam in Jordan may be the biblical city of sinners. Therefore, it was decided to undertake research in this area in order to confirm or disprove the hypothesis. Excavations led by Stephen Collins, an American scholar who drew on data from the book of Genesis, strengthen the assumption that Sodom was located in the southern region of the Jordan Valley, which is surrounded on all sides by depressions.

Sin of Sodom and Gomorrah

According to the text of the Bible, the inhabitants of the cities were punished not only for sexual debauchery, but also for other sins, including selfishness, idleness, pride and others, but homosexuality was still recognized as the main one. Why this particular sin is recognized as the most terrible is not known for certain, but in the Bible it is called "an abomination" before the Lord, and the legend calls people "not to lie with a man as with a woman." Oddly enough, among such an ancient people as Philistines homosexuality was generally accepted, and no one condemned it. This probably happened because their ancestors were pagan tribes and peoples, living in Canaan, far from monotheistic religion

According to the legend, the Lord-God, fearing that the Jewish people, too, can go to such a sinful way of life, sent them to the promised land and therefore commanded them to destroy the cities so that their inhabitants would not spread over the globe. There are even lines in Genesis that say that debauchery has spread so much in the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah that it has crossed all boundaries, so they should have been destroyed.

Truth or fiction?

Now, after so many centuries after the events described, it is impossible to say whether these cities actually existed, and whether they were burned by "a rain of sulfur and fire" for the misdeeds of their inhabitants. A huge number of attempts were made to find the remains of these settlements, but in reality none of them were successful.

We see that so far no real evidence has been found indicating that the cities with the names of Sodom and Gomorrah, which allegedly died from fire from Heaven, actually once existed.

At the same time, we know that in ancient times a number of cities with a significant number of their inhabitants really died from volcanic ash falling from the sky and hot sulfur.

The most famous cities that suffered such a fate are the cities: Pompeii, Herculaneum, Stabia.

K. Bryullov. "The Last Day of Pompeii" (1833).

Above is the representation of the artist K. Bryullov about the death of the city of Pompeii, below is a real view of the extinct volcano Vesuvius and the remains of the city of Pompeii.

The remains of the ancient city of Pompeii and the extinct volcano Vesuvius in the distance, the eruption of which in 79 AD destroyed this city.

"The harbinger of the eruption was a strong earthquake that occurred on February 5, 62 AD and described, in particular, in the Annals of Tacitus. The disaster caused great damage to the city, almost all buildings were damaged to one degree or another. Most of the buildings were repaired , however, some retained damage until the death of the city in 79.

The eruption of Vesuvius began on the afternoon of August 24, 79 and lasted about a day, as evidenced by some of the surviving manuscripts of the "Letters" of Pliny the Younger. It led to the death of three cities - Pompeii, Herculaneum, Stabia and several small villages and villas. During the excavations, it turned out that everything in the cities was preserved as it was before the eruption. Streets, houses with full furnishings, the remains of people and animals that did not have time to escape were found under a multi-meter thickness of ash. The force of the eruption was such that the ashes from it flew even to Egypt and Syria.

Of the 20,000 inhabitants of Pompeii, about 2,000 died in the buildings and on the streets. Most of the inhabitants left the city before the disaster, but the remains of the dead are found outside the city. Therefore, it is impossible to estimate the exact number of deaths ... " .

Historians also have no evidence that the inhabitants of these cities were mired in sins and depravity. But there is more evidence...

These are the discovered frescoes on the walls in the city of Pompeii, which are almost 2000 years old!

Pay attention to the faces of the so-called "Romans" who lived in Pompeii, who, logically and from our knowledge of geography, should be Italians. After all, Rome is in Italy, and Italians live there. Here is the same photograph of the fresco, only enlarged:

And the faces of these women from the city of Pompeii are purely Slavic, and their hairstyles too!

Okay, the cities of Pompeii, Herculaneum, Stabia, inhabited by Slavs and perished from a natural cataclysm, were far from the Jordan. Let's look for something similar to Sodom or Gomorrah closer to the place indicated in the Bible.

Let me remind you that "for the first time, Sodom and Gomorrah are mentioned as the southeastern tip of Canaan, located east of Gaza, while the land is here called the eastern bank of the Jordan River."

We look at the map to understand where the eastern bank of the Jordan River is located.

The red dot on this map, on the territory of Jordan, near the Jordan River, on its right bank, marks the ancient city of Jerash (Greek name Γέρασα), which died many centuries ago from a natural disaster. He was buried by a powerful mudflow. The ancient city of Jerash was in a "mothballed" state until our time, until 1920. It was in 1920 that archaeological excavations began at that place.

What did archaeologists find during the excavations of Jerash, and why is no one trumpeting their discoveries to the whole world?

I already know the answer to that "why?"

Because during the archaeological excavations it turned out:

1. Slavs lived on the territory of modern Jordan in the ancient city of Jerash (Gerasa), as they lived in many cities of Greece and the Roman Empire!
2. The ancient Slavs who lived in the city of Gerasa wore national clothes indistinguishable from the modern national clothes of Russian Slavs!
3. For the Slavs who lived in the city of Gerasa, the image of the "Aryan swastika" was traditional!!!
4. On the territory of modern Jordan in the ancient city of Jerash (Gerasa), people used the Old Slavic script !!!

This photograph of a fragment of the floor mosaic was taken in the same 1920 during excavations by the American photographer G. Eric. The original of this black and white photo can be seen here.

Before you, reader, is an image of a man in a traditional Russian shirt!

This archaeological find should have logically become a big world sensation. But she didn't become one. Didn't for a number of reasons. It was simply not profitable for the powerful of this world to advertise it!

"Russians lived before the Jews in the holy land! Jerusalem was Russian! Undeniable archaeological evidence has been found!!!" - all the newspapers of the world had to shout it? Yep, right now! Don't wait!

However, let us return to the history of the city of Jerash (Geras). For more than 1000 years, this ancient ancient city has been hidden from mankind and world history underground. It was discovered in 1806 by the German scientist Ulrich Seetzen.

First, the city of Jerash (Geras) was destroyed by an earthquake of terrible force, which occurred in 749 AD, then it was flooded and mudflows that descended from the hills were preserved for centuries.

In historical documents of the 3rd century, the city of Gerasa was called "Colonia Aurelia Antoniniana" - a city that was part of the Roman Empire. And in the IV-V centuries it was an important center for the development of Christianity already as part of Byzantium.

After the Russian-Caucasian War, starting in 1878, Circassian refugees began to settle above the buried city, who did not assume that they were building their houses on part of the ancient ancient city.

Large-scale archaeological excavations and restoration work began on the territory of modern Jerash only in 1925, and then only in the part where there were no new buildings.

Streets of the city of Jerash.

The surviving foundations of buildings in the city of Jerash (Geras).

In the next photo, the ruins of the early Christian church "St. Kosmas and St. Damian" ("Church of SS. Kosmas and Damian") discovered in the city of Jerash (Geras). It was here that the image of a man in a Russian shirt was discovered in 1920.

Here is what was revealed later, after the American photographer G. Eric took his sensational picture in 1920:

For comparison. Clothing of a man in ancient Jerash and a national Russian shirt with swastikas.

After removing a layer of earth, a huge mosaic image was opened before the eyes of archaeologists, on which, in addition to a figure of a man in a Russian shirt and the inscription "CHRIST", there were also multiple images of various animals and birds, as well as "Aryan swastikas", as if flying in all directions, as if this is a symbolic image of the omnipresent "Holy Spirit".

The most striking thing is that the word "CHRIST" and all other words on the floor mosaic were made on ancientSlavic!!!

The alphabet of the Old Slavonic language is very similar to the alphabet of the ancient Greek language, and one would think that the inscriptions on the floor mosaic were made in the ancient Greek language, however, in the Greek alphabet there is no letter "C", which is in the word "CHRIST", but in the Old Slavonic alphabet it is!

Here are the letters of the ancient Greek language, and here is what it looks like in Greek alphabet analogue of the Slavic letter With- SIGMA:

It turns out that the Slavs had written language long before the workers of the "Slavic alphabet" Cyril and Methodius!

When they were born (Cyril - in 827, Methodius - in 815), the city of Gerasa had been buried for almost a century under a landslide that came down from a hill in 749 due to an earthquake!

Here is more evidence from the excavations of the city of Derash (Geras), which say that ancient Slavic writing was used there.

See what the Americans give out in the section: "Ruins of Jerash (Geras). Jerash mosaics. Section with Greek inscription". That is, it is alleged "Greek inscription":

.

Look at the letters circled in the b/w photo with red circles. And then look here. Here below Old Slovenian letter with a letter "Yen", which is not in the Greek language, but it is (red circles) on the supposedly "Greek" mosaic presented above.

Here is the same spelling letter in Old Slavonic alphabet which read differently "yus-small":

So, were Greek writings discovered during the excavations of the city of Jerash (Geras), or are these ancient Slavic writings?

The answer is obvious - these are ancient Slavic letters and letters!

Well, now let's move on to the most interesting.

CONCLUSION 2:

Let's reread the text at the beginning of this article:

Sin of Sodom and Gomorrah

"According to the text of the Bible, the inhabitants of the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were punished not only for sexual debauchery, but also for other sins, including selfishness, idleness, pride and others, but the main one is still recognized homosexuality. Why this particular sin is recognized as the most terrible is not known for certain, but in the Bible it is called "an abomination" before the Lord, and the legend calls people "not to lie with a man as with a woman." Oddly enough, among such an ancient people as the Philistines, homosexuality was a generally accepted phenomenon. and no one condemned him. This probably happened because their ancestors were pagan tribes and peoples who lived in Canaan far from a monotheistic religion."

These accusations are not supported today by absolutely nothing! There is not even evidence for the existence of Canaanite cities named Sodom and Gomorrah!

The Bible writers attributed the so-called "to the heathen tribes and peoples who lived in Canaan", all those abominations that to this day are inherent exclusively to Jews! It is they, the Jews, who are the distributors of debauchery among all other peoples! Today we see this everywhere, and it is OBVIOUS, because the entire modern PORNO INDUSTRY is a purely Jewish "business", because all LGBT propaganda and gay parades are a purely Jewish international movement!

Read the continuation of this text:

"According to the legend, the Lord God, fearing that the Jewish people could also go to such a sinful way of life, sent them to the promised land, and therefore commanded them to destroy the cities, so that their inhabitants would not spread over the globe. There are even lines in Genesis that say that debauchery has spread so much in the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah that it has crossed all boundaries, so they had to be destroyed.

In other words, if some ancient cities in which the Canaanites lived were destroyed by natural disasters and "fire from heaven" in the form of a volcanic eruption, which could simply be perceived without any religious husk and tinsel as an unexpected blow of the elements, then the authors of the Jewish the concepts and compilers of the Bible went beyond that.

From century to century, the Jewish priests, the descendants of Aaron the Levite, inspired the Jews (and still inspire!), That with this blow of the elements, firstly, the Lord personally punished the Canaanite sinners, and secondly, the Jews, as "God's chosen people" , must now DIE, EXTERMINATE the Canaanites wherever possible, in order to inherit, as it is written in the Jewish Torah, "the whole land of Canaan."

Below is a transcript of the Jewish expression "Promised Land". The authors of this Jewish tale operate virtual The Lord, who allegedly appeared to a certain Abraham and said that he was "God Almighty", but without the Jews He cannot do something, and therefore wants to conclude a life contract with them on the principle: "I - to you, you - to me."

1 Abram was ninety-nine years old, and the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him: I am God Almighty; walk before me and be blameless;
2 And I will establish my covenant between me and you, and I will multiply you exceedingly.
3 And Abram fell on his face. God continued to speak to him and said:
4 I am my covenant with you; you will be the father of many nations,
5 And you will no longer be called Abram, but your name will be Abraham, for I will make you a father of many nations;
6 And I will make you very, very fruitful, and I will make nations from you, and kings will come from you.
7 And I will establish my covenant between me and you, and between your descendants after you throughout their generations, an everlasting covenant, that I will be the God of yours and of your descendants after you;
8 And I will give you and your descendants after you the land in which you wander, all the land of CANAAN, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.
9 And God said to Abraham, But you keep my covenant, you and your descendants after you throughout their generations.
10 This is my covenant, which you [must] keep between me and between you and among your descendants after you: let all the male sex be circumcised among you;
11 circumcise your foreskin, and this will be a sign of the covenant between me and you.
12 Eight days from birth, let every male [infant] born in the house and bought with money from some foreigner who is not of your seed be circumcised among you in your generations.
13 He who is born in your house, and who is bought with your money, shall certainly be circumcised, and my covenant in your body shall be an everlasting covenant.
14 But the uncircumcised male who does not circumcise his foreskin, that soul shall be cut off from his people, [for] he has broken my covenant...
(Bible, Genesis, chapter 17).

As part of this lifelong pact, made by some Abraham with some virtual Lord whom no one has seen because God cannot be seen, Jews are now obligated not only to circumcise their male infants on their penises on the eighth day of birth, but also to seek gaining into the ownership of the so-called "Promised Land", owned by the Canaanites by birthright.

"Promised Land" means "Promised". In this new land, the Jewish people should find a calm, happy and comfortable existence. The Covenant itself, both parties are obliged to fulfill forever. The people of Israel are commanded to keep the commandments of their God and carry out His recommendations, and the Lord promises to keep and protect the Jews. And now, when we have already learned that the Canaanite cities did not die from a natural cataclysm, but allegedly they were punished by the Jewish Lord, and now, according to an agreement with him, the Jews must DIE, EXTERMINATE the Canaanites wherever possible in order to receive, as prescribed in the Jewish Torah, "all the land of Canaan for an everlasting possession", let's figure out who the Jews, following the letter and spirit of their religious law, call these very CANAANITES or CANAANITES, and whose land should they inherit?!

"THIS IS OBLIGATORY TO KNOW EVERY SLAVAN!"

It doesn’t matter what your profession is: you are a teacher, a worker or a military man, it doesn’t matter what education you have: primary, secondary or higher, it doesn’t matter what your worldview is: you can be an atheist or a believer, something else is important: if you won't own this knowledge, you will represent yourself, together with other "brothers in mind" no more than flock of sheep, the so-called "goyim", controlled by "shepherds" - Jews and their faithful "dogs" - sixes.

Yes Yes! You will continue to represent yourself, together with other "brothers in mind" no more than flock of sheep, literally like this satirical picture (on the left), which makes fun of those who claim that "all conspiracy theories are paranoia." By the way, the pectoral cross of Pope Francis (on the right) with the image of the same flock of sheep instead of people is clear evidence that some people think about all of you that way!

Below I will give you three facts that not only prove that the "conspiracy theory" should not be treated as some kind of stupidity or "schizophrenic nonsense", these three facts prove and at the same time explain that Russia and the peoples inhabiting it are purposefully destroyed from the outside and from the inside (on both sides at once!) for at least 400 years in a row!

We see this desire with our own eyes! But the vast majority of people do not understand, due to the lack of an important layer of information in their minds, why, in the mouths of Western politicians, Russia always and in everything turns out to be guilty and sinful, like the inhabitants of the biblical cities of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Why do they want to destroy us?

So below three facts, which every Slav must know today and always remember about them! They are connected with each other by rigid causal relationships and they explain why Russia and the peoples inhabiting it are like a bone in the throat for someone who wants to bite in half.

Fact 1.

Did you know that Slavs once inhabited Palestine?

Once upon a time I did not know this either, however, a fact is a fact: below is a fragment of the book "About the language of the Jews who lived in ancient times in Russia and about the Slavic words found in Jewish writers"(St. Petersburg, 1866). This book was published in the Russian Empire more than 150 years ago by Avraam Yakovlevich Garkavi, Russian orientalist and Hebraist, State Councilor of the Russian Empire, author of articles in the Jewish Encyclopedia and the Encyclopedic Dictionary of Brockhaus and Efron.

From this literary monument, which turned exactly 150 years old this year, we should take into consciousness, literally chop on our noses, that the Jews from ancient times call us, the Slavs, Canaanites, and our Slavic language - the Canaanite language!

This is key to understanding our history over the past 400 years!!!

The text of another old book confirms the truth of this information. Itinerary of Benjamin of Tudela published in London in 1841. It also says that Slavs for Jews - Canaanites or Canaanites .

Fact 2.

A simple question from a Jew and a rabbi's answer to it: "how to justify the extermination of women, children, old people during the conquest of Canaan?"

This correspondence is not from ancient times. These are contemporary questions and answers. Below in the form screen copy I will present literally deadly information, spread in recent years by the rabbis among the Jews. Apparently, this very important information for today!

.

Indeed, if we consider the Jewish Torah from this point of view, everything not only falls into place, but you also come to understand why, for example, the famous Austrian musician Franz Liszt, who had Slavic roots, once made the following conclusion:

What made the greatest musician and composer of the 19th century come to such a conclusion one day?!

Only one! Attentive, thoughtful and conscious reading of the Christian Bible, which consists of 2/3 of the Jewish Torah, and also helped by the knowledge available to everyone in the 19th century, which is in the Jewish scriptures "under the words "Canaan" and "Canaanite" are meant the Slavs and their language" .

The Bible eloquently tells how the "prevailing tribe" in the so-called "Canaanite land" was destroyed by the Jews.

“And David took the crown of their king from his head, and in it was talent of gold and a precious stone, and David put it on his head, and he brought out a lot of booty from the city.

And the people who were in it, he brought them out and put them under the saws, under the iron threshers, under the iron axes, and threw them into the kilns. So he did to all the cities of the Ammonites. And after that David and all the people returned to Jerusalem...(2 Sam. 12:30-31).

Ask yourself "saws and iron threshers" - what kind of monstrous way of executing the civilian, captured urban population?

BUT "kilns" ?

Is it because the Jews-Jews have been imagining ever since holocaust that they themselves burned people alive by many thousands, and since then the fear of receiving retribution for their deeds haunts them?

And after all, how many, not even cities, but peoples (!) They wiped off the face of the earth, fulfilling the precepts of their "divine" Torah with the god-devil at the head!!!

Here are just some of the "divine commandments" that were given to the Jews, as Rabbi Chaim Ackerman says, "to fix the world" .

If anyone is still naively convinced that Adolf Hitler was an "anti-Semite", I recommend reading my separate work: "The Devil's Lair: The Truth About Switzerland, Zionism and the Jews" . Everything will immediately fall into place and delusions will be dispelled!

Fact 3.

And finally, one more fact, which actually influenced the fact that over time, I became famous not only in Russia, but also far beyond its borders as a writer .

I hope that everyone has heard about such a pro-Jewish sect "Jehovah's Witnesses", whose headquarters is located in the United States, in Brooklyn?!

This sect, now, by the way, banned in Russia, in the era of "Gorbachev's perestroika" had hundreds of thousands of its adherents in Russia, who went to all Russian cities, to the houses and apartments of Russians and distributed propaganda literature in the form of magazines "Watchtower" and " Wake up!"

These "Jehovah's Witnesses" caught my eye more than once, and even handed me their magazines. One of the issues of The Watchtower so shocked me with its content that I myself became a writer, a warrior writer, a fighter in the information front.

In the April 1997 Watchtower magazine, with a circulation of over 20 million copies, a question was addressed to me and to all Russians right from the cover: "Is it true that these are the last days?"

There, on the cover, the answer was given to him: "Truth! Only those who are selflessly devoted to Jehovah God will survive!”

Such a formulation of the question and such an answer to it, of course, outraged me to the core. I opened this magazine to see the commentary on such a shocking statement. I wanted to know why it is the people who do not believe in the Jewish god Jehovah that should be destroyed?

And this is what I read there: “Jehovah told Abraham that his descendants would inherit the earth Canaanite, but not before four centuries later"For the measure of iniquities Amorites hasn't been filled yet." Here, under the word "Amorites", which is translated as "dominant tribe", implied Canaanite people in general. So Jehovah was going to give his people the opportunity conquer Canaan only four centuries later. Jehovah let go of this period so that the Canaanites could develop civilization. What did the Canaanites come to?

Just imagine the situation! A whole army of sectarians marched across Russia at that time, who did not explain to anyone who the "Canaanites" or "Canaanites" were, and did not say a word about which "Canaan" they were talking about, but they told everyone that the Jews or the Jews, who worship Jehovah (Yahweh), should very soon, in the near future (!) "conquer Canaan" and win "dominant tribe" !

By the way, about the hint ( remeza) "Jehovah's Witnesses" that the Jews "it will be possible to conquer Canaan only after 4 centuries"... It is very similar to the fact that the countdown goes not from some "prehistoric times", and not from the moment of the "baptism of Russia", but from 1613, when the Romanov (Roman) dynasty came to power in Russia. I shared my thoughts on this in my article. "Confession of a "clairvoyant", what was and what will be..."

Make a binding to 1613 "four hundred years of the conquest of Canaan" I was pushed by a painting by Peter Lastman "Abraham on his way to Canaan" written in 1614. Well, not out of nowhere, the artist Lastman had the idea to paint this picture! Most likely, this idea was then discussed in the Jewish community!

Also in this chronology, like a ball in a billiard pocket, fall the prophecies "about the Jewish revolution" by the Russian writer Fyodor Dostoevsky, which he published in the Writer's Diary for 1877:

“... The Jewish revolution must begin with atheism, since the Jews need to overthrow that faith, that religion, from which the moral foundations came out, which made Russia both holy and great!” “Godless anarchism is near: our children will see it... The International ordered the Jewish revolution to begin in Russia... It is starting, because we have no reliable rebuff against it - neither in government, nor in society. The rebellion will begin with atheism and the robbery of all wealth, they will begin to decompose religion, destroy temples and turn them into barracks, into stalls, flood the world with blood and then they themselves will be frightened. The Jews will destroy Russia and become the head of anarchy. The Jew and his kahal are a conspiracy against the Russians. A terrible, colossal, spontaneous revolution is foreseen, which will shake all the kingdoms of the world with a change in the face of this world. But this will require a hundred million heads. The whole world will be flooded with rivers of blood.”. . (Dostoevsky F. M. Diary of a writer. / Compiled, comments by A. V. Belov / Editor-in-chief O. A. Platonov. - M .: Institute of Russian Civilization, 2010. - 880 p.).

Everything that Dostoevsky described 138 years ago was fulfilled exactly a few decades later. Dostoevsky was not mistaken even in the figure - for the period of transformation by the Jews "the face of this world" The Russian people lost, according to historians, precisely "100 Million Heads" .

Today there is no reason to doubt that the so-called "Great October Socialist Revolution", the course of which was controlled by Trotsky and Lenin, was conceived and carried out solely to ensure that the Jews were at the head of the Russian and other peoples living in Russia!

Lenin, Trotsky and Jewish revolutionaries ("proletarians" of all peoples and countries).

In confirmation of these thoughts and this historical vision, Russian President Vladimir Putin recently said that "the first Soviet government was 80-85% Jewish" . By the way, this is also a historical fact!

Well, after this chain of facts, who can say that the revolution of 1917 was not an attempt to finally conquer Canaan by Jewish Jews?

The dream of the Jews was not allowed then to come true by Joseph Stalin. But this is a different story.

Brothers and sisters! If you and I are not quite sheep or sheep yet, we all must now link the facts presented here together, including the revelations of the "Jehovah's Witnesses", and conclude that the Jewish tribe with the god Jehovah at the head now wants to finally conquer not some then there is abstract Canaan, and Russia, Russia! And we, the Slavs, the Russian people, who are the state-forming people of Russia, this Jewish tribe calls the "prevailing tribe" because we really are in relation to them the "prevailing tribe."

Moreover, they are not going to spare any of us in the upcoming final battle "for Canaan"!

Remember the words of Chaim Ackerman, who answered the question of a Jew from Russia who asked: "How to justify the extermination, women, children, old people during the conquest of Canaan?"

The rabbi's response is unprecedented: "Only the Almighty knows who each particular child will become when he grows up. Therefore, if you act according to His command, you will not be mistaken. And if the Creator of the world said that everyone must be destroyed, including even infants - which means that He saw that they would follow in the footsteps of their fathers in the future" . (C) Chaim Ackerman

Here is the goal towards which this "God-chosen tribe" is rushing today, in relation to which the legendary Christ said: "your father is the devil, and you want to fulfill the lusts of your father..." (John 8:44)!

This goal determines the entire policy of the current leaders of the European Union, the United States, England and a number of other countries, which all naturally belong to the number of "God's chosen ones."

Add to this the information that the Jews do not consider us, the goyim, people. Only they, "God's chosen ones" - people, and the rest are like animals!

On this I consider it possible to put an end to my story.

Who has read all this and who will continue to believe the Jews that in Canaanite(read in Slavic) cities with the names of Sodom and Gomorrah reigned debauchery and homosexuality, he would be just a fool. Well, Christian priests, who will continue to tell the people this Jewish lie, can now be safely equated with the Jews.

In continuation of this topic, I suggest reading another article of mine two years ago: https://cont.ws/@antonblagin/8...

Family life of the Old Testament patriarchs. Conversation 12th

Let's remember what we read last time:

And those men arose and went from there to Sodom [and Gomorrah]; Abraham went with them to see them off. And the Lord said: Shall I hide from Abraham [My servant] what I want to do! A great and strong people will definitely come from Abraham, and all the nations of the earth will be blessed in him, for I chose him so that he would command his sons and his house after him to walk in the way of the Lord, doing justice and judgment; and the Lord will fulfill upon Abraham [all] that he said about him. And the Lord said: The cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and their sin is very heavy; I will go down and see whether they are doing exactly what the cry against them is, ascending to Me, or not; recognize (Gen. 18:16-21).

What do we see here? Lot sat at the gates of Sodom . It would seem that a detail that says nothing. In fact, it says a lot, it's a metaphor. "To sit at the gate" in those days meant to be a judge, for judges sat at the gates of cities (Deut. 21:18-21; Esther 2:21). And later we will see how, addressing him, the inhabitants of Sodom will say: here is a stranger, and wants to judge? (Gen. 19:9).

But how could Lot be in that position, the position of judge in Sodom? How did the inhabitants of Sodom, known for their selfishness, accept Lot into their city?

What is known about the sins of Sodom? The book of Ezekiel says: This is the iniquity of Sodom your sister and her daughters (i.e. Gomorrah - O.S.): in pride, satiety and idleness, and she did not support the hands of the poor and the beggar(Ezekiel 16:49). The inhabitants of Sodom were so rich, idle, that they only cared about maintaining their standard of living, driving out all the poor, pilgrims who passed through their city.

In the East, it is considered a very terrible crime when travelers are not accepted. Moreover, the inhabitants of Sodom dealt with the strangers in the wildest way in order to teach them a lesson so that no one else would come to their city or even pass through it.

A bill is already under consideration by the Norwegian authorities, according to which anyone who provides shelter, money for travel, clothing, food or other material assistance to the homeless and beggars can be sentenced to a year in prison.

“The begging of foreigners should be made a criminal offense, punishable by deportation and a ban on entry into the country,” the Swedish Democrats party said in a statement. They distinguish between two kinds of beggars. The first of them is the citizens of Sweden, collecting a penny from passers-by because of the severity of their life on the street, alcohol or drug addiction. The second is foreign citizens who arrived in the Scandinavian country with the specific goal of capitalizing on the humanity and mercy of the Swedes. The party classifies such people as professional beggars (demanding to prosecute them and those who help them), Denik reports.

In Sodom, such a kind attitude towards non-friends was punished in the most cruel way.

Two legends have survived: There was a girl who secretly brought, hidden in a jug, a piece of bread for a beggar. Three days passed, and the beggar was still alive (in such an inhospitable place). Upon learning of the girl's deed, the Sodomites smeared her body with honey and, placing the girl on top of the city wall, released a swarm of bees on her. The girl died in terrible agony.

There was another case:

Two girls met at the well. One of them was very emaciated and could hardly stand on her feet. To the question of a friend: what was the matter with her, she said that they had nothing to eat in the house, and the family was waiting for starvation. The girlfriend, wanting to help the unfortunate, went home and, pouring flour into her jug, secretly exchanged jugs with the hungry girlfriend. But they found out about it, and the “criminal” was burnt.

But why was Lot accepted by these people and even placed in the position of a judge? The fact is that the identity of Abraham was known to all the inhabitants of Canaan. And not to accept Lot, Abraham's nephew, even the Sodomites would not dare. Because Abraham was so well known to everyone that when his nephew comes and says:

“I want to live here,” of course, they, despite the fact that they were complete villains, did not dare not let him into their city.

Sodom is not just one city. Sodom, Gomorrah - it was a confederation of five cities, of which Sodom was the main one (hence why it is always mentioned first). And they had a very high standard of living, and you remember when Lot moved there, he said that this land is like the garden of the Lord (cf. Gen. 13, 10). That is, this confederation of five cities led a very rich lifestyle and was against the arrival of some migrants. The inhabitants expelled them and acted very cruelly, especially with men.

Josephus writes:

“Proud of their wealth and abundance of property, the sodomites at that time began to treat people haughtily, and to the Ancient One - impiously, apparently completely forgetting about the benefits received from Him; in the same way they ceased to be hospitable and began to treat all people unceremoniously.

By the way, there is another interpretation why Lot was sitting at the gates of the city. He guarded strangers to warn them, thus teaching us to warn people of any danger that threatens them. But it is possible that he performed two functions at once: he was a judge and at the same time warned the strangers who approached this city so that they bypassed it in some roundabout way - we will see further what the Scripture says.

Lot saw two angels coming. He did not understand that they were angels, and rose to meet them, and bowed his face to the ground. How does he act? He acts like Abraham, his uncle, as we read in Chrysostom. But at the same time, Lot, although he imitates Abraham, is a man who separated himself from God's prophet. He began to look for a more comfortable life for himself, and this ruined his family.

Lot addresses two angels:

And he said: my lords! go into your servant's house and spend the night, and wash your feet, and rise in the morning and go on your way. But they said: no, we spend the night on the street (Gen. 19:2).

Lot says: come in (Hebrew sura). In a literal translation from Hebrew, this will turn out: “wrap up”, “roll up”, “go around the detour”. That is, do not go straight through the city! Take a roundabout way, so that the Sodomites do not notice you, to my house!

Go into your servant's house and spend the night and wash your feet - unclear. It is necessary to say the opposite: wash your feet, and then spend the night. Why does he say so? He means that they should spend the night without washing their feet. And if the Sodomites broke in, he would say:

They just came, they just came. Look, their feet are not washed! “That’s why he says so: “spend the night, and then wash your feet.”

And get up in the morning - that is, you have to get up early, and also leave in some roundabout way. We see that although Lot was the judge in Sodom, as evidenced by the expression: Lot sat at the gates of Sodom , sat as a judge - but he did not live according to the laws of Sodom, as they say, "one hundred percent." It is as if he is waging a guerrilla war with these established laws. But he's in the Sodom legal establishment if he's a judge, and that's his problem.

Of course, these finished scoundrels were forced to accept him as Abraham's nephew. They, too, were afraid of Abraham (especially since they were all indebted to Abraham), but he, Lot, does not just live among them - he becomes part of their world. Below we will see that he decided to intermarry with them. He already wanted to give his daughters to the Sodomites.

And here the angels teach us another lesson, they say: No, we spend the night on the street. What does it mean? This means that the angels look like young people who should not spend the night in the houses of sinners! Because if young people spend the night in the houses of sinners, then they eat there, they can be treated to wine, some kind of orgies can happen! Blessed is the man who does not go to the council of the wicked(Ps. 1, 1)! And the angels show this lesson: No, we are staying overnight. street - that is, it is better to spend the night on the street than to go to some suspicious people. It is not known what their moral level, what moral values. Truly, blessed are those, blessed is the one "who does not walk ... does not stand ... and does not sit," with those whom they do not go to, with whom they do not stand at the same time and do not even sit next to each other. And even more so, they do not go to bed together ...

St. John Chrysostom teaches: “Do you want to know the reason why this happened? It was a grave, damned sin. The people of that time copulated with boys; for this they suffered such a punishment.

Every Bible verse, word, and letter teaches us a lesson.

These are all lessons! In every biblical verse, word and letter, and even in superscript and subscript characters (cf. Matt. 5:18), we are given some kind of lesson, and our task is to hear it, to identify it. That is, to understand why it is said, why it is written this way, and what can it teach us, living in the 21st century?

He begged them strongly; and they went to him and came to his house. He made them a feast and baked unleavened bread, and they ate (Gen. 19:3).

Here we see the difference in the behavior of God's messengers in the house of Abraham and in the house of Lot. They go to Abraham's house at once, Abraham does not beg them, because there is no reason to doubt the righteousness of Abraham. But Lot is a fallen, imperfect righteous man who fell out of the spiritual world of Abraham in pursuit of some blessings, earthly blessings. This is his problem.

“Lot receives husbands, but two, and not the whole Trinity, in the evening, and not at noon. What does he offer them? And he baked unleavened bread, and they ate. Since he was significantly inferior to Abraham in merits, he does not have a fattened calf, and he does not recognize the mystery of the Trinity in three sats of flour. But by offering what he has with good nature, he is rewarded with deliverance in the destruction of Sodom. Note, brothers, that Lot is honored to receive angels because he does not reject strangers: angels enter a hospitable house, and houses that are closed to strangers perish in the flames of brimstone fire.

Look: when Abraham treats those who come to him, there the whole family takes part in this work. Remember? Abraham ran, told the servants who were tending the cattle, ran, told the women, ran somewhere else - everyone is moving there! And here Lot alone does everything. He was alone. That is, his daughters do not help him, this is not visible - is he made them a treat. And there the lad Ishmael helped, the son of Abraham ... And here Lot is alone. His daughters may not have wanted to get out of their beds, his wife is busy with her own business - we do not see her participating in this. He found himself alone, in some kind of spiritual vacuum, in his own house and in his own family.

Saint John Chrysostom teaches: He made them a feast and baked unleavened bread, and they ate . Do you see that here, too, hospitableness is revealed not in the richness of the food, but in the abundance of spiritual zeal? Forcing them to enter his house, he immediately began to fulfill the business of hospitality: he himself was busy serving them, offering them food, rendering every honor and service to those who came, mistaking them for ordinary travelers.

Before they went to bed, like the inhabitants of the city, Sodomites, from young to old, all the people from all parts of the city, surrounded the house (Gen. 19:4).

City dwellers, Sodomites, young to old ... - look, not only people of age were infected with the sins of Sodom, but also young people. If this is some kind of hooligan action, then why are the old townspeople together with the young? Apparently, this really shows the degree of perversion of all these people: that there were no righteous among them at all. Ten were not even righteous! From young to old, everything, all the people from all over the city, - it is said, - surrounded the house .

And they called Lot and said to him: Where are the people who came to you at night? bring them to us; we get to know them (Gen. 19:5).

What means: we get to know them ? It means: "Let us unite with them." They did not want to know them, that is, to find out about them. In the sense - to ask who they are and where they come from. They wanted to abuse them, to rape them, thinking that they were young men (youths).

Origen writes that, precisely in imitation of his uncle, Lot was looking forward to the appearance of travelers and was delighted when they arrived.

And here we see that he saved these people by taking them to his house in a roundabout way, but here he was faced with a dilemma, a very difficult dilemma. But who is to blame for this if not Lot himself? At first he wanted to live in the cities of the neighborhood and pitched his tent to Sodom(Gen. 13, 12). And here we see that he already lives in the city! This city swallowed him up. This city corrupted him and his family. He (Lot) found himself in a difficult situation, he framed his family by moving to live in this city! Don't Be Fooled: Bad Communities Corrupt Good Morals(1 Cor. 15:33).

And so Lot is called, and he faces his own problem, which he himself created - face to face. She, as it were, closes him in a circle - like all these people, the Sodomites, who surrounded his house. For incalculable troubles surrounded me; my iniquities have overtaken me, so that I cannot see: they are more than the hairs on my head; my heart left me(Ps. 39:13).

Lot went out to them at the entrance, and locked the door behind him, and said to [them]: My brothers, do no harm(Gen. 19:7).

They really became brothers to him. He looks like them

Why does he call them brothers? He still only wants to become related to them!.. They really became brothers for him. He looks like them. He separated from the prophet of God in pursuit of earthly goods. Hedonism, the desire for pleasure - this attracts him, and he says: My brothers

And so, although he calls them brothers, but at the same time, as Abraham's nephew, he calls them: do no evil . He has become twinned with these people, but at the same time he encourages them to move away from evil. And then Lot makes a very serious mistake. He says:

here I have two daughters who have not known a husband; I'd rather bring them out to you, do with them what you please, only don't do anything to these people, since they came under the shelter of my house (Gen. 19:8).

It was at this moment that Lot killed his daughters! Although he only spoke about it ...

Beware of uttering rash words, because the word is the Divine Logos implanted in us.

Words have power! Beware of uttering rash words, because the word is “the Divine Logos implanted in us,” teaches St. Justin Martyr, “the very possibility of speaking” is from the Logos-Christ implanted in us.

And here Lot already, as it were, gave up his daughters in his heart for corruption, and then we will see how this will affect his daughters. This was a serious mistake! He could defend the guests with weapons in his hands, but say so: "Here, take my daughters ...".

He does not know who these young men who came to him are. He does not know that these are the angels of God, they have not yet revealed themselves to him. These are just young people who came to him. And some say that Lot offers his daughters, because the atmosphere of depravity in Sodom and Gomorrah was such that such sexual relationships were treated very simply, they did not see a problem in this. But giving away guests is a problem.

Or, perhaps, he knew that these people who had gathered in front of his house did not need any women, they were looking for another comfort for themselves.

But they said to [him]: Come here. And they said: here is a stranger, and wants to judge? now we will do worse to you than to them (Gen. 19:9).

This expression “wants to judge” - it can also be understood as follows: “Do you want to judge in your own way? You are our judge, you must act according to our laws! You have been entrusted with such an important task: to sit at the gate, to sort out all sorts of cases, and you want to judge in your own way, to change our laws? If you have settled among us, it means that you have accepted the conditions of our life. All! You called us brothers. So be just like us!”

Here is the tragedy of Lot: And wants to judge? now we will do worse to you than to them - now they already want to attack Lot ... They have already forgotten that this is Abraham's nephew, that God's punishment will surely follow. They are intoxicated with the desire to deal with the protector of these two aliens in a revealing manner.

And they came close to this man, to Lot, and came up to break down the door (Gen. 19:9).

Now Sodom no longer seems to him such a pleasant place when he faces such a dilemma: what to do?

Then those men (i.e. angels - O.S.) stretched out their hands and brought Lot into their house, and shut the door [of the house] (Gen. 19, 10).

So the angels somehow miraculously open the door from within, although Lot locked her up . They bring him in: as if this world of the house of Lot is sanctified by the coming of angels. When a dwelling is consecrated, then in the Orthodox rite hymns are sung with the following words: “To Your house, Christ, salvation was the entrance, and now the entrance of Your clergy, and with them - Your holy angels, give Your peace to this house and mercifully bless ... ".

And they brought Lot in - it would be more correct to say: "They brought Lot into his house." But they entered it to yourself, that is, the angels have already, as it were, turned this house with their presence into a kind of spiritual fortress, which has already become something more than the house of Lot.

And the people who were at the entrance to the house were smitten with blindness , from small to large, so they are exhausted, looking for an entrance (Gen. 19, 11).

And this blindness shows, first of all, the lack of spirituality of these people: they do not see the realities of the spiritual world, but Lot does not see these realities either. Still, Abraham, welcoming the three, calls on the name of the Lord (One)! And Lot seems to be spiritually blind, so blind that he will have to explain the situation.

The men said to Lot, Who else do you have here? son-in-law, whether your sons, whether your daughters, and whoever you have in the city, bring them all out of this place (Gen. 19, 12).

There is an element of Lot's condemnation in these words: who else do you have here? You've lost everything! But who else do you have here? He had it, remember? - slaves, shepherds ... It is said that the wealth was great. Literal translation: " he was heavy»!

Who else do you have here? son-in-law, are your sons . He doesn't have any sons! He has no heirs! - are your daughters … These words can be understood as follows: “And daughters? Are you sure the daughters are yours? That is, in spirit? And yes, you have changed. And daughters, are they yours? Everything is in doubt! And the wife? They don't even ask about the wife. And whoever is in your city, take everyone out of this place !

The only real value, the virtue that Lot has left that can save him and his daughters, is hospitality (which he learned from Abraham)!

For we will destroy this place, because the cry is great against its inhabitants to the Lord, and the Lord sent us to destroy it (Genesis 19:13).

The sins that cry out to God are few...

And it is said that the cry is great, and the Lord sent His angels to destroy this city. But not only Sodom and Gomorrah are meant, but all five cities.

And Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who were taking his daughters for themselves, and said, Get up, get out of this place, for the Lord will destroy this city. But his sons-in-law thought he was joking (Gen. 19, 14).

It was night, deep night. And the elderly Lot runs to the doors of his sons-in-law and cries: stand up !" That is: "Wake up!" - they were sleeping. Imagine, some old man comes running to you at night, knocking on the door:

- Quickly leave the apartment, now the house will collapse!

Well, you think: this is probably a sick person. And these sons-in-law laughed at him - this is a prosperous world! Like America! It's such an amazing country. Like the EU! This is paradise! This economy is great. Such a well-functioning banking system, everything works great. And one day - the economic crisis. And it all collapses! How many suicides are now in America - you can not imagine what a huge number! People get frustrated.

But here the sons-in-law do not see any problems, they live in the best city in the world. Why should this city fail? Where will he fail? This cannot be, because it can never be! But his sons-in-law thought he was joking - they see this excited old man as a jester. How can a city that stands at the pinnacle of prosperity suddenly fail? How will this confederation, which stands at the pinnacle of prosperity, fail? Where will she fail? What is there, some mines below? How can that even be?

save yourself on mountain ... - that is, when it is very difficult, when through difficult circumstances the angels of God literally push us out of the grip of sin, we will not be able to save our lives if we do not look to the Head and Finisher of life, the Lord God and our Savior Jesus Christ! Save yourself to the mountain ! It would be nice to write these words on the wall somewhere at home, so that you always remember this.

But Lot said to them, No, Lord !.. Lot already understood with whom he communicates - the secret is revealed, they have revealed this secret. No, Lord ! - like this No?! The Lord speaks through these angels! Lot sets his conditions: how is it on mountain? “What am I going to do on the mountain? How to live on the mountain in general, there is no such well-functioning water supply system. And sewerage, after all!..” The ancient cities were then very well equipped.

But Lot said to them: no, Lord! Behold, Your servant has found favor in Your sight, and great is Your mercy, which You have done with me, that You have saved my life; but I cannot escape to the mountain, so that trouble does not overtake me and I do not die (Gen. 19:18-19).

What death is he afraid of? But without any of these amenities that he was used to living in Sodom.

Here, closer to run to this city - a city there, from this confederation. He just wants to move from one city to another. The Lord says: that's it, this place is cursed. Here, it is closer to run to this city, it is small; I will run there, - he is small; and my life will be saved [for your sake] (Gen. 19, 20). He is small - that is, perhaps they did not sin there ...

Sodom and its philosophy have already settled in the heart of Lot

But maybe I'll survive there. I will rent an apartment, good conditions, water, sewerage, everyone knows me ... The situation is very difficult. Sodom and its philosophy have already settled in the heart of Lot!

And we read:

And Lot's wife looked behind him and became a pillar of salt (Gen. 19:26).

She looked around, being a sinner who deserved fire no less, she could also show gloating towards the perishing, and now she turns into a pillar of salt. And the Lord instructs us: Remember Lot's wife(Luke 17:32)!

And Abraham got up early in the morning [and went] to the place where he stood before the Lord (Gen. 19, 27).

This is the place, see? He had a special place where he stood every morning in front of Lord . That is, repeatedly stood. And so Abraham prayed, and Lot and his family were saved by his prayer.

(Gen. 19, 28).

All this has blown below the level of the ocean, and the smoke is huge, like smoke from an infernal furnace. Abraham stands in his place before the Lord. Before the face of the Lord It means pray! He begs for at least something to be preserved in Lot's family. But how difficult it is to do this if Sodom has settled in the heart of the daughters of Lot, and he himself, Lot, carries away a piece of Sodom in himself.

And he looked towards Sodom and Gomorrah, and into all the expanse of the region, and saw: behold, smoke rises from the earth, like smoke from a furnace - what terrible words! But maybe it has nothing to do with us? Maybe it's only Sodom, the confederation of cities of Gomorrah experienced such a punishment? No, the whole world will experience the same punishment. The day of the Lord will come, like a thief in the night, and then the heavens will pass away with a noise, the elements, having flared up, will be destroyed, the earth and all the works on it will burn(2 Pet. 3:10). The apostle Peter continues: If in this way all this is destroyed, then how should you be in a holy life and piety, who are waiting and desiring the coming of the day of God, in which the flaming heavens will be destroyed and the inflamed elements will melt? However, according to His promise, we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.(2 Pet. 3:11-13). Fleeing on the mountain where the cross was placed, where the Son of God was crucified, where the jets of His blood deliver us from all sin, we become fellow citizens of the angels and look forward to the New Heaven and the New Earth.

And Lot went out of Segor and began to dwell in grief, and with him his two daughters (wife died - O.S.).

He was sure that everything would fail. There is also nothing good in this Sigor. Now he is not up to comfort and conveniences, he is ready to escape even in a cave. A similar state will be experienced by the sinners of the last times. It is said: On that day, a man will throw to moles and bats his silver idols and his golden idols, which he made for himself to worship them, in order to enter into the gorges of rocks and into the clefts of the mountains from the fear of the Lord and from the glory of His majesty, when He rises to crush the earth. Stop relying on a man whose breath is in his nostrils, for what does he mean?(Isaiah 2:20-22).

And here something very strange happens: Lot begins to drink with his daughters. And in a drunken stupor it seems to him that everything has failed, the whole world has failed. And it seems to his daughters that everything has failed. Including Abraham! They live in a cave. Not on the mountain - where salvation is, but in some recesses, closer to the underworld, Lot is already looking for protection from daylight. And he lived in a cave, and with him his two daughters

And the eldest said to the youngest: Our father is old, and there is no man on earth who would come in to us, according to the custom of all the earth. (Gen. 19:31).

They are sure that there is not a single person on earth anymore, that everything has perished, everything has failed.

And there is no man on earth who would come in to us according to the custom of all the earth; so let us make our father drink wine, and sleep with him, and raise up from our father the tribe (Gen. 19:31-32).

So, Sodom, it turns out, lived in the hearts of these girls ...

And they made their father drink wine that night; and the eldest went in and slept with her father [that night]; but he did not know when she lay down and when she got up. The next day the elder said to the younger: behold, yesterday I slept with my father; let us give him wine to drink this night; and you go in, sleep with him, and we will raise up the tribe from our father. And they made their father drink wine that night; and the youngest came in and slept with him; and he did not know when she lay down and when she got up. And both daughters of Lot became pregnant by their father, and the eldest gave birth to a son, and called his name Moab [saying, He is from my father]. He is the father of the Moabites to this day (Gen. 19:33-37).

Moab is a son from a father. That is, she is proud, she boasts that she gave birth from her own father! .. She is not ashamed - she is like a sodomite! They speak openly about their sin, as the Sodomites do not hide: woe to their soul! because they bring evil upon themselves(Isaiah 3:9).

And the younger also gave birth to a son, and called his name: Ben-Ammi [saying: he is the son of my kind]. He is the father of the Ammonites until now (Gen. 19, 38).

Ben Ammi- it's more modest. This means - the son of sorrow, sadness. Here is a tragedy: she realizes what she has done.

From Moab come the Moabites, from Ben-Ammi the Ammonites. From the Moabites, a tribe that arose through incest, after many, many generations, one righteous soul will come out. This is Ruth the Moabitess. After many, many generations, because sin does not immediately come out of the family lines. And Ruth will join the Jewish people, undergo purification and become the great-grandmother of King David. Moses' wife, Zipporah, also descended from the Moabites.

This commentary by Caesar of Arles contains the answer to the question that concerns many people: why did God reveal himself to some nations in fullness, while to others, as it were, he only slightly opened the doors of knowledge. The Arles preacher writes: “Since he was much inferior to Abraham in merits, he does not have a fattened calf, and he does not recognize the sacrament of the Trinity in three sats of flour.” It seems that peoples and tribes must also have some merit, and then they will be able to know " all Trinity, not in the evening, but at noon" their moral development and formation.

Procopius of Gaza. Fragments.

Do you remember how Jacob killed his wife Rachel? When Laban came looking for his idols, Rachel hid them under her and sat down. And they came to search her, and she said that she was unclean: let not my lord be angry that I cannot stand before you, for I have an ordinary female (Gen. 31, 35). And Jacob said: Wherever you find your gods, he will not live (Gen. 31, 32). He said this because he did not know that Rachel had taken the idols. He cursed Rachel with these words! And Rachel died and was buried on the road to Ephrath, that is, Bethlehem (Genesis 35:19).

A person must have the right hierarchy of values. What comes first? Service to God. What next? Service to neighbor. What neighbor are we talking about? First of all, your own family! It is said: But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has renounced the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.(1 Tim. 5:8). And then all of humanity? No, brothers in faith then go. It is said: Let's do good to everyone, but especially to our own by faith(Gal. 6:10). And then, then you can think about all of humanity. That is, there must be a correct hierarchy of values: serving God - caring for the family - caring for brothers in faith - and then, if we see a person even of a different faith, and he needs, we can help him.

St. John Chrysostom wrote about the perverts of his day: “... The female sex is already in danger of becoming superfluous, since it is replaced by youths in everything. And not only is it terrible, but also the fact that such an abomination is committed with complete safety and lawlessness has become a law. No one fears or fears any more; no one is ashamed or blushes; but they still boast of this disgrace, and the chaste seem foolish, and those who reprove - not sane; if they are weak, they are subjected to beatings, and if they are strong, they endure ridicule, scolding and countless mockeries. Neither courts, nor laws, nor educators, nor fathers, nor police officers, nor teachers help: some have been corrupted with money, others have in mind only that they have a salary; but of those who are more conscientious and take care of the salvation of those entrusted to them, some are easily amenable to concealment and deceit, while others are afraid of the power of perverts. It is easier for someone suspected of tyranny to escape than to avoid the hands of these wicked ones who would try to remove (children) from them ... nature, and no matter how irritated they do not violate the laws of nature. And these, gifted with reason, worthy of divine teachings (that is, perverts from among the catechumens - O.S.), who teach others what to do and what not to do, and who have heard the Scriptures (that is, we are talking about perverts teaching in churches - O.S.), descended from heaven (that is, occupying a high position - O.S.), do not copulate with harlots with such impudence, as with youths ”( John Chrysostom. To those who are at enmity against those who are attracted to the monastic life. Word 3 - To a believing father).

They strike them with blindness. God's punishment is always punishment for what a person sins with. That is, God always punishes us with our sins. Why exactly blindness? Because these people, who lived luxuriously, richly, did not want to see other people who were below them in their social status, they did not want to notice the problems of other cities - “Here is our confederation, and that’s it!” On the other hand, they are lustful, and lust is manifested through the eyes (Matt. 5:28), and they cast a longed-for look at the beauty of the Celestials who came to Lot. There may be several reasons for this. But we must always pay attention to the punishment: it is always connected with the crime.

“The angels sent to destroy Sodom and striving to fulfill the work entrusted to them, first of all, take care to save the hospitable Lot from inevitable death in the fire. Hear these words you who close the doors to strangers, hear these you who avoid guests as enemies! Lot lived in Sodom. We will not read about his other good deeds: of all of them, only hospitality is mentioned here. He is saved from the fire, he is saved from the big fire only because he opened his house for guests. Angels came to the hospitable house - fire came to the houses closed to guests ”( Origen. Homilies on Genesis).

They cry out to God: murder- the Lord said: What did you do? the voice of your brother's blood cries out to me from the ground(Gen. 4, 10); retained fee(reapers) cries from earth to heaven - now, if you are not given a salary on time, then your employers risk being in hell in a bad company: the wages you withheld from the laborers who reaped your fields are crying out, and the cries of the reapers have reached the ears of the Lord of hosts.(James 5:4); offend widows and orphans- this sin cries out to God; and sodomy sin cries out to God. Everything. These sins are described in the Bible as crying out to God. If someone delays a salary or pension, he may end up in hell among perverts, murderers and villains who offended orphans and widows, that is, in very bad company. Tell your employers about this, they need to know where they can fly after they die.

Cyril of Alexandria. Fragments.

The Torah (Pentateuch of Moses) tells and tells many stories when the Almighty punished mankind for its sins. One such case is the fall of the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. , whose inhabitants were not distinguished by special holiness and righteousness. According to the biblical narratives, the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by G-d for such sins as idolatry and debauchery are the most serious sins, to which the Almighty pays attention in the first place . In the truest sense of the word, these cities were burned to the ground. Heavenly fire and brimstone descended from the sky and devoured all the inhabitants of these cities. In the Haggadah (part of the Oral Law, which is not part of the Halacha, that is, it does not have the character of a religious and legal regulation), it is said that Sodom serves as the embodiment and symbol of depravity. And even such a righteous man as Abraham failed to save the inhabitants of these cities, entering into a dispute with the Almighty in order to avert His wrath and not punish sinners along with the righteous. But even ten righteous people were not found in Sodom and Gomorrah.

The first biblical mention of these cities is contained in the description of the borders of Canaan (an ancient country on the eastern coast of the Mediterranean Sea; the Torah says that this is the Land Promised by God to Abraham and his descendants, flowing with milk and honey - Eretz-Israel). These cities are said to lie to the east of Beth-el in the vicinity of the Jordan River. Another source states that Sodom and Gomorrah were located to the west of the southern end of the Dead Sea (although some scholars believe that it was at the northern end), but the exact location is now unknown. There is a hypothesis about the geological cataclysm that befell the area. And that now the ruins of Sodom and Gomorrah are at the bottom of the sea. The etymology of the names of these cities comes from the Hebrew word סְדוֹם ‏‎‎‎ - Sodom - which in Hebrew means “burning”, and Gomorrah - עֲמוֹרָה ‏‎‎ - “immersion, drowning”.

The Torah says that on the eve of the destruction of cities, Abraham received the Almighty, who appeared to him in the form of three men at the grove of Mamre. Learning about the impending punishment, Abraham, who had a nephew Lot (the only righteous in these cities), who settled in Sodom, asked the Lord to spare the cities for the sake of the righteous who might be there, and received a promise that These cities will receive mercy if there are at least ten righteous people in them. But the righteous, unfortunately, did not turn out to be.

The story of these two cities is related to one interesting case with Lot, who in those days lived in the territory of Sodom and Gomorrah with his wife and two daughters. The angels told Lot and his family to flee to the mountains, but Lot objected to them and offered to flee to the small city of Segor, located closer to the mountains. God agreed to Lot's proposal and promised not to destroy this city "to please" him. Immediately after the flight of Lot and his family, fire and brimstone poured from heaven, and everything was burned. God told them not to look back at what was happening to the cities, but Lot's wife disobeyed the ban, looked back and turned into a pillar of salt. By the way, not far from the shore of the Dead there is a rock, shaped like a woman dressed in a veil or a long cloak. Perhaps this rock is Lot's wife, turned into a pillar of salt...

Lot was afraid to live in Segor, so he left the city and began to live in a cave with his daughters. The daughters, left without husbands, decided to get their father drunk and copulate with him in order to give birth to descendants from him and restore their tribe. First, the eldest did so, the next day - the youngest; both became pregnant by their father. The eldest gave birth to Moab, the ancestor of the Moabites, and the youngest gave birth to Ben-Ammi, the ancestor of the Ammonites.

Interesting Facts:

  1. The expression "Sodom" ("Sodom and Gomorrah") allegorically means a place of debauchery and fornication, where the moral foundations of society are violated; less often - in the meaning of "a terrible mess." From the name of the city of Sodom come the words "sodomy", "sodomite", "sodomy sin". In modern Russian, these terms often imply sexual intercourse between persons of the same sex (sodomy). In other languages, sodomy refers to any immoral sexual practices. In the modern Russian colloquial language, "sodom" is also called noise, disorder, turmoil.
  2. The French writer and critic of religion Leo Taxil, in his book The Funny Bible, compares the biblical story of Lot with the ancient myth of Philemon and Baucis, in which Zeus and Hermes punish the city for inhospitality. In addition, the author cites the opinion of the philosopher Voltaire, who criticizes the act of the daughters of Lot, which is not condemned by the Bible in any way, moreover, in his opinion, he is rewarded by the fact that they become mothers of entire nations. The philosopher also draws a parallel with the ancient Greek legend about Mirra, who gave birth to Adonis from her father Kinira, in which the girl, unlike the daughters of Lot, was punished for her sin.
  3. Flavius Josephus, the famous Jewish historian and military leader, writes in his writings: “... the region of Sodom, once rich in its fertility and prosperity of cities, is now completely scorched ... due to the sinfulness of its inhabitants, it was destroyed by lightning. Proud of their wealth and abundance of property, the Sodomites at that time began to treat people down ... ceased to be hospitable and began to treat all people unceremoniously. Angry, ... G-d decided to punish them for such impudence, destroying their city and devastating their country so much that neither a plant nor a fruit would grow out of it anymore ... The Lord struck the city with fiery lightning, burned it together with the inhabitants and in the same way, devastated the whole area"
  4. The code of Sodom laws included the following provisions:

    a. Any foreigner found in the area is allowed to rob and also mock him.

    b. The duty of the Sodom judge is to ensure that every wanderer leaves the country without a penny in his pocket.

    c. Anyone who is seen giving bread to a beggar is put to death.

    d. Anyone who invites a stranger to a wedding will have all their clothes removed as a punishment.

The story of Sodom and Gomorrah shows all mankind that the Creator is absolutely not indifferent to how people live on Earth, how they act towards each other. This biblical story is a prime example of what not to do.
