Craftsmen make many interesting and original plastic crafts to decorate the interior of rooms and gardens. Lightweight material works well and is inexpensive. You can create crafts from waste material, and from the new, depending on what the work is being done for.

They're on the move plastic cups and used bottles, spoons and forks different colors, and which ones functional items made from pipes made from PVC plastic. Crafts can be simple, which children can do, or quite complex, which only experienced craftsmen can do.

In this article we will look at several finished products made from different plastics, how to work with them, and what wonderful and useful things you can create. We will provide detailed instructions for the manufacture of each element and provide photographs. finished products. So, how to make crafts from plastic?

Designer Christmas tree

In order to create such an apartment decoration for the holiday, you need to purchase several PVC pipes different diameters. They must be cut into thin cylinders of equal length. To cut plastic, they use a specially designed tool - pipe scissors, a cordless pipe cutter, and there is also a roller-type pipe cutter. If you are making such crafts from plastic for the first time and do not have these devices in your closet, then do not be discouraged, because you can always use a hacksaw.

The only disadvantage of such a tool is that it leaves burrs on the plastic. But it doesn’t matter, it’s enough to process the edges sandpaper or clean it with a knife. For the tree trunk you need to leave the pipe itself large diameter a piece of 30-40 cm, depending on the size of the plastic craft.

Then you need to prepare the base for the wall panel. This can be a board made of plywood or fiberboard, or you can purchase a colored one. Next, all the pipe sections are placed on the floor - from the smallest to the largest - so that it turns out triangular shape. It is more convenient to lay out large elements first, and then fill the voids between them with small parts.

To attach the elements to the base, strong Moment Plastic adhesive is used. It is transparent, so it will not visually spoil the decor item.

How to decorate an original Christmas tree?

After completing the main part of the work of making New Year's crafts from plastic, begin filling each cylinder. Same as for a regular Christmas tree New Year, also used for design Christmas decorations. A star of any color is attached to the top. Further decorative elements distributed depending on the size of the cylinder.

There is a lot you can do with your child homemade toys and place them beautifully in round voids. Angels and balloons look beautiful. If a child wants to put toys there, then do not scold him, because this is his holiday too. You need to decide how to decorate plastic crafts with your own hands together, with the whole family. This brings family members together, and creative process Doing such work captivates both children and adults.

Convenient stand for needlework

If you are seriously interested in making crafts from ribbons, for example, working on making bows, gift wrapping, or, for example, decorating glasses and bottles for a wedding, then such a convenient stand will help you avoid chaos on your desktop. All coils with tapes are placed on a PVC plastic pipe, access to them is free, the tape is pulled out without effort, you can immediately see where which color is placed.

Pieces of tape are cut without removing the roll from the stand. If you need to add ribbons of other colors for work, then replacement is done simply by pulling a piece of pipe from the corner. When you put on a new roll, then plastic tube It simply snaps back into place.

This stand looks very neat, you can always wash it with detergent. If any one element is damaged, you will not have to throw away the plastic craft with your own hands; it will be enough to replace one element by cutting the pipe according the right size.

To make a frame from plastic pipes you need to buy the material itself and an additional 8 corners with three inlet holes located at an angle of 90°. Using a hacksaw or pipe cutter, cut 4 identical pieces, 50-60 cm in size. They will be located along the length of the craft at the top and bottom. Then the pipe for the sides is cut out. The length of each is also the same and is approximately 25-30 cm.

All that remains is to insert the pipes into the holes in the corners and assemble the plastic craft. The photo clearly shows what this stand is. Ready product It turns out to be light, clean, and there is no shame in placing it on your desktop. If you want to add additional details to the stand, for example, a cup for scissors or a pillow for needles, you can hang them on an elastic band or on a plastic hook. It is attached with double-sided tape.

Tabletop Christmas tree made of plastic forks

Since we touched on the New Year theme in the article and looked at how you can do wall panel in the form of a Christmas tree made of PVC plastic pipes, now let's make a plastic craft with our own hands for novice craftsmen. After all, this is a Christmas tree made from disposable forks. She has small size, and it can be installed on New Year's table or on a shelf in the room. You can also make such a Christmas tree for a school New Year's exhibition.

As a base, you can use a foam cone or a dense piece of foam rubber, cutting a similar shape from it. To decorate the top, prepare a package of ear cotton swabs, which are placed in the shape of sun rays in a circle. In order for them to hold firmly in this position, you must first cut the cotton wool from one end. Plastic sticks are placed on a piece of plastic cut in the shape of a star and attached with Moment Plastic glue, or use glue gun.

A longer stick is glued to the bottom of the top, which will hold the entire structure. Then another star is attached at the junction of all the parts (in the center). The top is ready, work begins on the DIY plastic craft itself (there is a photo above).

To create such a prickly beauty you will need 30-40 forks, depending on the height and width of the cone. Each fork is trimmed at the base. Leave a small, even piece 1-1.5 cm long. Glue will be applied to it. Begin gluing the cone from the bottom, moving around the circumference. Each next row is shifted by half of a disposable fork so that the “branches” of the Christmas tree do not look like rows, but are “fluffy” on all sides.

The top is inserted into the top of the cone by simply pressing it in; you can apply a little more glue to the stick so that the top of the tree does not fall off when carrying the craft, for example, to school. While preparing materials for making plastic crafts (photo above), you can look for green forks on sale. After creating a bright and original masterpiece from plastic forks, you can cover them with a layer of glue and sprinkle them with glitter or tinsel cut into small pieces.

Snowman made from plastic glasses

Thin craft plastic allows you to create projects without glue. For example, from plastic disposable cups you can assemble such a wonderful snowman for new year holidays. This product can decorate not only home environment, but also applicable in children's institutions, offices and other organizations.

The inside of a snowman made of plastic cups has a void, so light bulbs or colorful garland lights are often placed there. After turning on such lighting, the room will instantly transform, and during a dance party such a snowman will act as a lighting effect.

The DIY plastic craft (photo below in the article) consists of two main elements. This is the character's torso and his head. They are made in the shape of a torus, that is, they are not completely spherical, but with flat parts at the bottom and top. This is done to ensure good adhesion of the elements to each other. And the bottom of the figure turns out to be flat and can confidently stand on the floor or table without rolling onto its side.

Take glasses for work white, are laid out with the open part facing out and stapled together. Due to the fact that the cup is not even, but has the shape of a truncated cone, after fastening it will form a “donut” or geometric figure torus

To make the next row wider than the previous one, an additional cup is added. When you reach the diameter required, you can subtract one element in each next row. This is done until the initial number of glasses is reached. For example, if we took 8 tbsp for the first layer, then the work ends on the layer with eight glasses. All layers are fastened together using the same principle, that is, with a stapler.

When making a head, the figure turns out to be smaller, but the principle of operation is similar. All that remains is to attach the head and torso with paper clips. Then the work continues, because you need to decorate the figure. It can be done different ways, at the request of the master. A scarf is usually tied around the neck, a hat can be put on the head, a bucket can be made from paper, or a cap can be sewn from fabric.

The carrot nose is simply inserted into the void of the cup at the desired level. You can do the same with other details.

The second life of plastic is crafts made from it. So don't rush to throw it away empty bottles or jars from detergent. After all, you can create wonderful objects from them. Let us consider further how from plastic bottles make such a beautiful set - a cup and a teapot. You will need material different sizes. For example, it is better to create a cup from a small half-liter bottle; for the lower part of the kettle, purchase a two-liter container; a smaller one, 1.5 liter, will be useful for making a lid.

Don't throw away bottle scraps. Thin strips for handles are cut from them. They are glued with transparent glue "Crystal" or "Moment Plastic". For the spout of the kettle, find a small tube made of thin plastic and, using a knife, cut a hole and insert it tightly into the kettle.

Now let's start decorating the dishes. Can be used for painting acrylic paints. They are odorless and adhere perfectly to plastic. You can come up with different designs. The only caveat! It is better to melt each cut a little using a hot iron, then the child will not be able to cut himself on the sharp edge of the bottle. It’s easy to make DIY crafts from plastic, and you can come up with an endless number of products, especially for play activity children and interior garden plot.

Original vase

The time-lapse image of the process of making a vase from a plastic bottle clearly shows all stages of the work. First, think about the height and color of the vase, because bottles come in different colors. If the product is intended to be wide, then you need to take a two-liter bottle. The narrowed neck is cut off and thin strips are cut to the same level, try to keep their width the same.

After this, you need to bend all the strips into reverse side at an angle of 90°. Then the most difficult and painstaking part of the work begins - weaving the strips together. As you can see in the photo above, the elements are bent one by one. We skip the strip next to it, and weave the first element into the next two.

The work continues in this way until all the strips are beautifully bent and intertwined. This kind of work needs to be done clearly, smoothing out the fold lines well. If the craft is done correctly, the vase will have a beautiful and even edge. If at least one element is not executed accurately, or the fold is poorly smoothed, then the entire harmonious structure of the vase’s decor will be disrupted.

Flowers made from spoons and forks

From plastic utensils, namely spoons or forks, you can make the following beautiful candlesticks as in the photo below. They are easy to make. In one work you can combine one and another piece of utensils. In one flower, the utensils are placed face up, in the other, face down.

The flower is based on a cardboard circle. If you don’t have white, you can take any, even corrugated one, and cover it on both sides with plain white paper. Next, cut the spoons and forks. IN in this case The leg is cut off completely. Begin pasting the cardboard with spoons or forks in the outer circle, the second row is moved slightly to the side so that each layer is clearly visible.

Smeared plastic parts superglue. After a candle is inserted into the middle, a circle is framed around it foam balls. You can make a “Flowers” craft from plastic different color. For example, make the first row of green forks - these are water lily greens. Then there is a row of white color, decorate the middle with yellow.

If such flowers are glued onto polystyrene foam, then you can launch the resulting crafts into a pond or pool; they float perfectly on the surface of the water and do not sink.

Beautiful flower from the bottom of a bottle

To make such an original craft, you will need to prepare 2 or 3 green plastic bottles. The size of the container should vary. The larger part will be located outside, the other two are inserted inside it, for example, take 1.5-liter, liter and half-liter plastic bottles.

You will also need: a candle or lighter, superglue, a decorative insert in the middle of the flower. It does not have to be the same color as the flower itself. You can use a contrast effect. Also, the bottles will look beautiful in different color scheme. All containers are cut to the bottom level.

Then petals are cut out from its parts. Immediately after production, they have smooth and unattractive edges. This can be fixed with fire. You need to act carefully, you need to hold the bottom by the edge so as not to get burned. Pass the edge of the petal over the fire several times until it becomes curved and wavy. All petals are processed in this way.

In the end, all that remains is to attach all the parts to each other by applying superglue to its central part. The second bottom is shifted to the side, so the flower will look lush and more voluminous.

Plastic crafts for the garden

You can make other simpler flowers from plastic bottles, which are placed mainly in the garden, garden or front garden. To make them, you can collect several bottles of the same volume. No color of great importance, since the craft will still have to be painted. The best remedy to give flowers bright colors Acrylic paints are considered.

First you need to cut off the top of the bottle with the neck. Don’t throw away the lid, as we will need it later in our work. The stems of future flowers must be made of wire. To do this, take a thin metal rod and bend one side down. The other, flat part of the rod is buried into the ground by pressing.

If you want to have a whole bush of plastic flowers, then prepare more twigs. After the stem is buried in the ground, a green bottle is placed on top. Its neck is directed downwards, and the upper part is cut into thin leaves. Using pressure, lower the neck below ground level.

Next, work is carried out on attaching the prepared flowers. They are already cut as in the photo, painted, and the edges are rounded. You can make them round; parts with corners or cut into noodles will also look beautiful.

A hole is made in the caps of plastic bottles; you can use a drill or a sharp awl. After the lid is placed on the rod, it bends a little and holds the flower in one place. For reliability, you can secure it with plasticine. That’s it, your DIY plastic craft for the garden is ready!
