The pustunchik knows the secrets of impeccable design of a New Year's wall newspaper and today he will be happy to share them with you, my friend.

The first step is to create a layout of the New Year's newspaper poster. Take a draft and roughly indicate on it the headline, articles and illustrations that you plan to place in the newspaper. Pay attention to the size of each component: articles should not be too small, and headings should not be too large. Now, barely noticeably, do the same on whatman paper.

Whatman paper A1 is best suited for a New Year's wall newspaper. If you don’t find one, you can glue several A4 sheets together.

DECORATION

To prevent the New Year's wall newspaper from looking “empty”, you can tint whatman paper by making an interesting background.

The paper will look impressive if:

1. Dip a dry brush into the paint and apply it with a poke to the boom,

2. Use a dry brush to make strokes,

3. Make a tone with a toothbrush, sprinkling paint from it onto whatman paper,

4. Take a little paint on your finger and leave fingerprints on the paper.

Applications look cool on a wall newspaper. You can make clippings from magazines, make voluminous snowflakes, Christmas decorations etc., and another great idea would be to print out coloring pages, color them and stick the finished drawings on a wall newspaper.

HEADLINE

Pay special attention to the title. Here are a few ways the title can be positioned in relation to the text.

Progress of the master class:

Let's start with a pencil drawing, first draw a monkey. We draw a semi-oval head (crown), round ears, then an arched muzzle for the nose and the contours of the muzzle itself.

Then the eyes with eyebrows and nose.

We add another circle inside the ears and draw a smile.

We dress the monkey in a hat with a pompom, and decorate the edge of the cap with fur.

We draw a fur coat, arms and legs.

On the opposite side of the monkey we will draw a house on the hills and bushes.

When the composition is built, we begin to work with watercolors.

The main background of the poster will be light blue. Choose a larger brush, and with big amount water we apply the transparent blue color of the sky.

Next are the snowy hills, we will use purple, blue, light blue and emerald. We outline the line of the hill with a saturated color, then wash the brush and wash the color with clean water, creating a smooth transition from dark to light.

For the house we choose burgundy color. We outline the contours of the house with it and again blur the color with a clean brush and water.

We paint the window shutters and the roof above the door of the house and the door with yellow. Brown color select the contours of the door and draw the lines of the boards.

We paint the roof with blue watercolors, making the outer edges more saturated and bright.
Then we decorate the roof with yellow, white and red gouache. We make arched strokes with three colors at once, as if mixing them together at work. We draw trees and bushes with brown gouache.

For the Christmas tree we use two colors - green and emerald, alternating them (strokes).

Decorate forest beauty.

We also draw the Christmas trees at the bottom of the monkey with gouache. At first green color.

Then we enliven the Christmas trees with brush strokes white, shade them green.

We draw the cloud with white gouache, then immediately draw a blue outline and stretch the color along white background clouds. For the month, mix yellow with white, for the circle near the month, ocher and white.

We write the words of congratulations on the poster with multi-colored paints (gouache), and blue snowflakes will fly across the sky.

Let's draw the smoke from the chimney in gray: white + a drop of black gouache.

We begin to work on the monkey, tracing the contours of the head with brown gouache.

Then fill everything with color except the eyes and eyebrows.

We decorate the paws and tail with brown. We paint the skis yellow and use white to make them inner part lighter than the contours of the skis. The shoes will be red with white shades.

For the monkey’s face, ears and tummy, take ocher. Let's decorate the costume with gentle blue, mix blue and white.

We will draw the fur on the cap and collar with white and blue colors. Mix the colors together using semicircular strokes.

Using white we divide the border of the monkey's legs.

We draw eyes. And all we have to do is decorate the poster with glitter.

An excellent craft option for the 2016 New Year is a product made using the now popular quilling technique. Even a child can cope with the task, it is so simple. First, try making an ordinary snowflake - believe me, this action will captivate you so much that you will soon move on to more complex forms.

Figures made of thread or paper

Remember your childhood and make your own three-dimensional crafts for the New Year using the papier-mâché technique or a similar technology using woolen threads.

You need to prepare:

Popular

  • air balloons;
  • PVA glue;
  • threads;
  • old newspaper;
  • watercolor or gouache;
  • brushes

Blow up some balloons different sizes and make a snowman. Then they need to be thickly greased with glue and covered with scraps of newspaper, or wrapped with thread. In the first case, after drying, paint the surface. Now pop the balls and glue a snowman figure from improvised “snowballs”.

You can practically create a cute Christmas tree as well. Instead of balls, you will need some kind of cone for the base.

Pasta fairy tale

If we talk about snowflakes, it is impossible not to talk about the technique of creating New Year's crafts with your own hands from pasta. You will need several varieties of these grocery products and silver paint.

Let there be light

No matter how strange it may sound, you can make wonderful and unusual things from old burnt out light bulbs, for example, cute snowmen, lanterns or birds. The light bulbs need to be painted and the elements of the selected character depicted on them. Put small rag caps on the snowmen, and woolen plumage on the birds.

In fact, the arsenal of possible DIY crafts for the New Year 2016 is, of course, not limited to all this. Everything is in your hands: invent, create and surprise your loved ones in anticipation of the most important holiday!

Christmas wreaths

What your Christmas wreath will look like depends entirely on the availability of available materials, as well as your patience and desire to create a truly unique thing. It's good if there are:

  • wire for frame;
  • fir branches;
  • cones;
  • gold paint;
  • red satin ribbons.

It is necessary to make a wire circle, it will serve as our basis. By the way, a circle made of foam plastic or cardboard will also work, if you have one in your home.

We will carefully and quite densely attach the needles to the frame, and then decorate it all with gold-painted cones and bows.

It is quite possible to add some additional elements to the resulting composition, for example, gingerbread, artificial berries, small Christmas tree decorations, thread beads, candles, bells or chocolates.
