Many of our readers are interested in the topic of higher education, preferably free. How to do this, our correspondent will tell, who talked with the head of the Moscow University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia named after V.Ya. Kikot by police lieutenant general Igor KALINICHENKO.

Faculty of Correspondence Education of the Moscow University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia named after V.Ya. Kikotya is a guarantee of high-quality professional education for employees of internal affairs bodies on the job.

Today, distance learning is based not on passive learning, but on the active independent work of students, taking into account their practical experience.

Currently, about three thousand students are studying at the faculty - employees of internal affairs bodies, of which more than one and a half thousand serve in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Moscow.

Training sessions are conducted by the teaching staff of the university in the form of lectures, seminars, consultations, practical exercises, laboratory work. Taking into account its specificity, the faculty of distance learning, together with the departments of the university, strives to make the most efficient use of the time allotted for classroom work.

Everyone who once graduated from the faculty of distance learning at the Moscow University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia named after V. Ya. difficult, but worthy of the path traveled - the graduation of students of the faculty in the Hall of Fame of the Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War on Poklonnaya Hill.

- Igor Aleksandrovich, let's consider a typical situation. The young man joined the police. Suppose he works in the patrol service, is ambitious, dreams of becoming an officer and getting a higher education. What is the algorithm of his actions?

I see two ways. First: he submits documents to a civil university, pays for tuition and receives an education. There is a second way, less expensive and more relevant. Submit documents to our university. We train active police officers absolutely free of charge. The university has created all the conditions for obtaining high-quality professional education on the job.

What is required for this?

First, the desire to learn. This is the main condition. Secondly, submit a report on the direction to study at the place of service. As soon as the head signs it, the employees of the personnel department will form an academic file, which must be submitted to the university admissions committee no later than June 1 of the year of admission. I do not advise postponing the submission of documents for later. This should be done in December-January in order to slowly prepare for the entrance exams.

Are there any age or length restrictions for candidates for training?

Does our candidate - an employee of the SPSP have the right to study full-time?

Yes please. The selection of candidates for study and the preparation of materials, the study of data about the candidate is also carried out by the component bodies. In case of successful passing of the entrance examinations, he becomes a cadet, and he retains the monetary allowance paid at the last place of service. But there is just a limitation here. Applicant must not be over 25 years of age.

And a correspondence speaker is called a listener?

What exams will our applicants have to take?

There are four of them. Entrance tests based on the results of the Unified State Examination - Russian language and social studies. Additional entrance tests are an exam in history and an exam in Russian (exposition).

Physical training is not included in the list of tests?

No. Since he is an active employee, his physical training is assessed at the place of service.

Are the results of the exam taken into account?

Necessarily! For persons who completed their education in a general education school before January 1, 2009, the results of the USE are not needed, they pass all four exams.

Is the passage of the military medical commission provided for those entering the correspondence course?

No. But in the educational file of a candidate for training, there must be a certificate in the form 086-U.

What is the duration of distance learning?

It depends on what specialty the student is studying. For example, in the specialties "Law Enforcement" and "Legal Support of National Security", the training period is six years. In the specialty "Pedagogy and psychology of deviant behavior" and some other areas of training - four years, as in accelerated learning programs. But it is provided for those who already have a higher, but not specialized education.

So, our virtual candidate has firmly decided to act. But he lost his knowledge. Do you somehow help with this gap?

Firstly, I invite all potential applicants to come to our open day, which takes place twice a month, in order to get acquainted with the university in more detail, talk with teachers and students. And secondly, we have preparatory courses.

The academic case of our peessnik is accepted. But after all for entrance examinations the free time is necessary.

This question has long been worked out in the capital's garrison. On the day of registration, each applicant receives, in addition to the examination sheet, also a call certificate, which gives the right to provide guarantees and compensation to employees who combine work with education.

Will they also be released from the unit for the session?

Undoubtedly! In accordance with the schedule of the educational process, each student is annually provided with guarantees and compensations for passing intermediate certification from forty to fifty days. These days, classes are held with them: lectures, seminars, consultations. During the same period, students pass tests and exams.

Our imaginary cop did. But he is sent on a business trip to the North Caucasus region for six months. And he can't get into the session. Will he be expelled?

In no case. If a person has a valid reason for absence, then he is given the opportunity to pass an intermediate certification according to an individual schedule. We have such facts, and not infrequently.

What do students do during the academic year?

Self-training. After listening to the orientation lectures and receiving assignments for writing tests, students master the material at home. During this time, they must write from 13 to 18 written control, term papers and submit them to the department.

In person or by mail?

Written works are submitted to the office of the Faculty of Correspondence Studies in person or sent by mail.

And by email?

No. By e-mail are not accepted.

But the learning process requires the availability of special literature.

There are no problems with this. The university has an excellent library. The information and library center of the university is both an educational library and a scientific one at the same time. Each student receives a card with a username and password. He easily, sitting at home, enters the site, searches for the necessary textbook in the catalog and works with it.

Does a part-time student have the right to visit the university during the off-session period to clarify the issues of education?

Undoubtedly! He can come at any time convenient for him and get professional advice from the faculty of the departments.

What do you think distance learning provides?

First of all, knowledge. An employee of the internal affairs bodies must have a high-quality professional education, meet the demands of the time, and be a true professional in his field.

And the last question. How do field managers feel about the absence from duty of their staff, who are part-time students, during the sessions? After all, fifty days is not enough.

Every leader, especially if he is a competent leader, always sees the future. Perhaps now he will have to be patient, but after some time he will receive a competent, highly qualified specialist who is able to quickly, relying on the norms of the law, solve the tasks facing the internal affairs bodies to ensure law and order in the city of Moscow.

The profession of a policeman can be obtained not only in the universities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, but also in secondary specialized educational institutions, which used to be called police schools, now most of them have been renamed colleges, and there are very few of them left. If you can enter universities only after 11 classes, then colleges are accepted on the basis of 9, and in the Suvorov schools of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia - after 8.

Selection criteria

The requirements for those who plan to enter the police school after the 11th or 9th grade are quite strict. First of all, this is the absence of health problems and excellent physical fitness, good academic performance, stress resistance, and a high intellectual level. And also the readiness to always come to the aid of people and the firm conviction that the choice was made correctly.

Admission conditions

Citizens of the Russian Federation who have successfully completed 9th or 11th grade are eligible to enter police colleges. Education is conducted in the daytime (rarely even in the evening) form, on a budgetary or paid basis. Both boys and girls can enter the college on equal terms.

For preliminary selection to the budget department, the acceptance of personal files begins on March 1. For their registration, you must contact the personnel departments of local police departments. The general acceptance of documents ends on August 1.

Before admission to the entrance examinations, all applicants are required to pass a medical commission at the educational institution itself.

Applicants must submit the following documents to the medical board:

  1. General blood and urine tests.
  2. Blood tests for HIV and the Wasserman reaction.
  3. An electrocardiogram taken during exercise.
  4. Information about the passage of fluorography.
  5. Statement of health for five years (outpatient card).
  6. Information about vaccinations.

In addition to the commission, all future cadets pass:

  • testing on the general psychological state and IQ level;
  • entrance tests in physical education, which include running (100 and 1000 m) and strength exercises. The scores for this exam have a significant impact on competitive selection.

The term of full-time study, depending on the specialty, ranges from 2 years 10 months to 3.5 years on the basis of 9 classes and from 1 year 10 months to 2.5 years - upon admission after 11 classes.

Required documents

In order to enter the college (school) of the police after the 9th or 11th grade, you must contact the personnel department of the territorial division of the internal affairs bodies (OVD). Its staff will form a personal file of the applicant and send him to college.

Personally, the selection committee is served:

  1. Application (for minors with parental consent).
  2. Passport or other identification document (plus a copy).
  3. Certificate and annexes to it (with a copy).
  4. Medical certificate 086/U.
  5. Copy of health insurance.
  6. Professional color photo cards 3x4 (6 pcs.).
  7. Certificate with the results of testing for the use of narcotic and psychotropic substances, issued by a public health institution that has the appropriate license (test for 10 types of narcotic and psychotropic substances).
  8. Characteristics from the school.
  9. Copies of documents for the provision of benefits (if any).

Although, according to the current legislation, for admission to the police college, it is not necessary to submit the results of the OGE and the Unified State Examination, educational institutions can add to the lists of documents required when applying, a certificate from the school or a printout from the RTSOI website with the results of the GIA in mathematics and Russian. This does not violate the rights of applicants in any way - admission passes through the competition of certificates and the results of a test in physical culture. But if candidates score an equal number of points, then the selection takes into account grades for priority subjects for the college and a particular specialty.

You can also enter the police college bypassing the local internal affairs bodies by submitting documents directly to the educational institution. This format is called direct dialing. Its peculiarity is that after graduation, the cadet is sent to work in any of the Russian internal affairs bodies, and not exactly in the one that recommended him to study, having formed a personal file.

Where to apply - top 3 schools

If for graduates of the 11th grade the choice is quite extensive, then it will be much more difficult to enter the police school after the 9th grade. Since the main emphasis in professional training is on ensuring that employees with higher education work in the internal affairs bodies, there are few specialized secondary educational institutions that train employees for the Ministry of Internal Affairs, almost all of them are located in Moscow:

  • College of Police (founder - Government of Moscow);
  • College of Law (founder - Government of Moscow);
  • Vocational Training Center of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Moscow Region (admission only on the basis of 11 classes).

But in all universities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs there are faculties of secondary vocational education (or separate training programs for the specialties of secondary vocational education).

It was the police schools in Russia that after the reorganization of the educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, carried out in 2008, there were only three left, and all of them specialize in training dog handlers for service in the internal affairs bodies:

  • Rostov School of Service and Investigative Dog Breeding of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation;
  • Branch in Yegorievsk (Moscow region) of the Rostov School of Service and Investigation Dog Breeding;
  • Ufa school for the training of cynologists of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

Secondary education and the specialty required to work in law enforcement agencies are also provided by civilian higher and secondary educational institutions, for example:

  • St. Petersburg Police College InterPoliceCollege - "InterPolisCollege" (non-state);
  • College (Faculty of secondary vocational education) MFLA (Moscow Financial and Legal University).

You can get the profession of a policeman on the basis of 8 classes. To do this, you need to enter one of the seven Suvorov military schools of the Ministry of Internal Affairs:

  • St. Petersburg;
  • Astrakhan;
  • Yelabuga;
  • Grozny;
  • Novocherkassk;
  • Chita;
  • Samara Cadet Corps.

The Suvorov Schools of the Ministry of Internal Affairs accept graduates of the 8th grade who, on December 31 of the year of admission, are under 16 years old.

From the moment of enrollment in departmental colleges, cadets are awarded the rank of private police officer, and upon graduation - police lieutenant. Cadets and students of educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs receive the rights, benefits and duties of police officers. They are given a stipend. Freshmen are in the barracks, that is, on full state support.

Who graduates from police colleges

After graduating from the police college, graduates receive a certificate of complete secondary education, as well as one of the specialties according to the Federal State Educational Standard:

  • 40.02.01 - law and organization of social security, qualification - lawyer;
  • 40.02.02 - law enforcement, qualification - lawyer.

After graduating from the police college, graduates can work as investigators, district police officers, UGRO specialists, criminologists, employees of administrative and legal departments - that is, in the positions of ordinary or junior management in any department of internal affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. You can find out about vacancies and recruitment of employees during your studies or practice.

Many graduates of police colleges do not stop there and continue their education at the universities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The knowledge and experience that they have gained while studying in the VET programs, as well as excellent physical fitness and self-discipline, are a significant advantage when entering universities and institutes of the Ministry of the Interior. Applicants who have already proven that they are not random people in law enforcement agencies are more likely to be accepted by the universities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs than high school graduates.

For reference

Police schools, which until recently trained employees to work in the internal affairs department in the positions of ordinary and junior commanding staff, were reorganized by order of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1510-r dated 10/29/2007:

  1. Moscow Special Secondary School of Militia of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation - attached to the Moscow University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
  2. The St. Petersburg Special Secondary Police School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Arkhangelsk Special Secondary Police School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation are attached to the St. Petersburg University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs with the formation of a branch of the university on the basis of the Arkhangelsk School.
  3. Elabuga Special Secondary School of Militia of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation - attached to the Kazan Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation and transformed into its branch.
  4. Nizhny Tagil Special Secondary Police School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation - became part of the Ural Law Institute as a branch.
  5. Novosibirsk special secondary school of militia of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation - became a branch of the Barnaul Law Institute.
  6. Chita special secondary school of militia of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation - transformed into a branch of the East Siberian Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Dozens of other police schools (Astrakhan, Voronezh, Omsk, Makhachkala, etc.) became part of the higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs even earlier - in 2005-2006. Accordingly, all secondary specialized educational institutions received the status of universities, and you can enter them only after 11 classes.

Details

To enter the Ministry of Internal Affairs, you need to pass exams and study. When to apply, what subjects need to be taken as a police officer after grade 11, is it possible to study after grade 9? Let's find out!

For some, work in the police is just an employment option, but for some it is a conscious goal.

One way or another, to become a policeman, you need to get an education, which means you need to study.

What should be handed over to the police?

Some work in the structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is idealized, others criticize it, and it is indisputable that the profession of a police officer is available to almost any citizen of our country, but only if they have the appropriate training and education.

And of course, a high school diploma alone will not be enough. To become a police officer, after school you need to continue to study further and pass exams.

What exams to take to become a police officer? It depends on the basis of what education you plan to study your specialty and where to enter.

There are several options - from studying at police schools and colleges after grade 9 to receiving higher professional education at the institutes of the Ministry of Internal Affairs after grade 11. However, you can combine both options, getting an education slowly but surely.

What subjects to hand over to the police after 9th grade?

Graduation from a general school is the first step on the way to getting an education to work under the auspices of the Ministry of the Interior.

Graduates who plan to go this route and want to understand what they need to take as a police officer after grade 9 should decide on the wording, study features and options for admission.

  1. Firstly, work in law enforcement agencies has many specializations and you can become not only a police officer, but also get a completely non-obvious and therefore unexpected for many people specialty that is applicable and in demand in the Ministry of Internal Affairs. You can become an investigator, an interrogating officer, an employee of the teaching staff, a district police officer, and also a dog handler, a representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs service abroad, work in the economic security service, PDN bodies, and even in special forces. Depending on what to choose, it will also depend on which exams to take for admission to the Ministry of Internal Affairs after grade 9.
  2. Secondly, you can work not only directly in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, but also in various law enforcement and control bodies, from work in customs services to notary offices. And you can also go to work as a psychologist, dispatcher and have the status of a police officer. Such specialists are also very necessary and important.
  3. Thirdly, you can go to study at a school or a police college and even a technical school.

As a rule, implying a career as a police officer, after the 9th grade, applicants are willing to consider a police college.

What exams to take in the police college?

If the goal is specific and you want to connect your life with a legal profile, to work in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, for a police officer after grade 9, you need to pass the Russian language and mathematics, as the main subjects of the OGE.

The target area of training, which is worth looking at at the College of Police is “Law Enforcement”. This training program prepares specialists for law enforcement work.

What else do you need to take for a police officer after grade 9 at the police college?

  • In addition to passing the required Russian language with mathematics and elective subjects at the OGE, an applicant may be required to take history.
  • You need to be prepared for the fact that after the 9th grade a policeman will need to pass physical fitness standards and show his endurance.
  • A medical examination is another important stage for passing the commission and further work in law enforcement agencies.

It is also worth noting that when entering the educational divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, taking a police officer after grade 9 may require not only exams, but also tests for the content of prohibited substances in the body, and undergo a mental health assessment.

What exams to take for a police officer after 11th grade?

For work and a career in the legal field, more options are available to graduates of the 11th grade of the school. To get an education, you no longer need to limit yourself to primary positions, there is no need to consider only colleges and police schools for admission, you can enter a university.

What does it give if you finish not 9, but 11 classes and what subjects should be handed over to the police after 11 classes?

If we talk about the opportunities that open up after graduating from high school, there are many options for what to take as a police officer after grade 11 and what profile to focus on. You can become not only an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, but also a lawyer or a judge, work in various government bodies. All these are areas of a legal profile that become available for education and training.

If the choice fell specifically on working in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, to enter the police after the 11th grade, you need to pass the USE exams, physical fitness standards, medical tests and examinations, and psychological testing.

The areas of training that should be of interest to most applicants if they are interested in the profession of a policeman are “Jurisprudence”, “Legal support of national security”, “Law enforcement”, “Forensic examination”.

In addition to the obligatory Russian language and mathematics, in most specialties, when entering the Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, history and social studies will need to be taken as a police officer after grade 11.

It is worth noting that education and training at the Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is carried out not only in the field of crime investigation and law enforcement, but also in the field of judicial activities, legal and psychological assistance.

I was told that in order to enter the Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for a police officer after grade 11, they may be required to provide the results of the Unified State Examination in physics, but something else is written on the site.

Depending on the specific specialization, you can find other introductory subjects. In the main areas, exams for a police officer after grade 11 must be taken in history and social studies. But you can also enter specializations related to the field of psychology and pedagogy, radiophysics, and information technology. In this case, the main subjects that need to be taken for the exam after grade 11 at the Ministry of Internal Affairs may change, which means that profile mathematics, computer science, physics and even biology can also be found as introductory ones.

What items need to be handed over to a police girl?

Arguments that police work is not a woman's business have long been refuted. Even despite the fact that not all “combat positions” are available to girls, the beautiful half of humanity has excellent chances to pass exams for a police officer in various areas of legal activity and make a dizzying career in the internal affairs bodies.

Irina Volk can act as one of the bright and memorable examples of her perseverance, intellectual superiority, undeniable beauty and brilliant career of girls. Irina went through the educational path from entering the legal lyceum after the 9th grade to graduating from the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Where can school graduates go today, what subjects should be taken for a police girl? The answer to this question depends on the grade after which you plan to continue your studies. It is possible to apply for further education after grades 9 and 11.

If you enter after 9, then you can become a student of a law college, and indeed of any college where training in legal specialties is carried out. And if after 11, then you can go to study both at the University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, and at one of the universities that train specialists for various purposes to work in the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

After grade 9, the most accurate hit on the target will be admission to the College (school) of the police.

What to hand over to the police after 9 to the girl?

A girl entering the Police College after the 9th grade will have to go through the same path as the guys. Admission is carried out in accordance with the legislation of Russia and does not in any way limit the right of girls to become a student, or rather a student of a law college. As a mandatory entrance exam, girls after grade 9 for a police officer will need to take the same OGE exams as boys in Russian language and mathematics. You will also need to undergo a medical examination, obtain the conclusion of a psychologist-narcologist and pass the standard for physical fitness.

I am a girl, I want to take exams for a police officer after the 9th grade in order to enter the Police College. Are the standards for physical training for girls different?

Nature itself endowed men and women with different physical indicators, and, of course, this is taken into account when entering colleges of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and passing entrance standards. On average, the required physical minimum, which must be taken upon admission to the police after the 9th grade for girls, is reduced by 20-25%.

Hthen the girl to hand over to the police after 11th grade?

As in the case of grade 9, after grade 11, girls take entrance exams similar to guys, and if they get good scores on the exam, they will be able to enter the country's law schools on the budget.

What to hand over to a police officer after 11th grade for a girl? In legal specialties, the Russian language and basic mathematics will be mandatory, and history and social studies will be majors.

If you go to study, for example, at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in areas directly related to work as a police officer, you will also need to pass physical fitness standards.

It is important to note that professions in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for girls are not limited to legal specializations. You can find your place in personnel services, really get a job as a psychologist, an accountant - there are a variety of vacancies in law enforcement agencies. It goes without saying that in this case the profiling exams for the USE will be different.

What exams to take in the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs?

Currently, there are several academies operating in the country that have the status of educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Academies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia are located in Moscow, Volgograd, Nizhny Novgorod, Omsk.

The Moscow division provides training for the leadership of the Department of Internal Affairs and teaching staff for master's programs. But any 11th grade graduate can try to become a police officer in the Academies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of other regions.

What do you need to take to the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs upon admission? It depends on what specialty the applicant will be interested in. If it is exclusively legal, the applicant is expected to receive the results of the Unified State Examination in Russian, social studies and history. These are the main subjects that you need to take at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs upon admission.

Legal areas for which admission is conducted:

In the above specialties, in addition to the results of the Unified State Examination, in the Academies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a police officer also needs to pass physical fitness standards and undergo a medical examination.

In Russia, about 20 universities have the status of an institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The requirements for candidates entering the institutes of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are similar to those that apply to applicants for academies. This applies to both physical tests and items to be taken for a police officer.

Many boys in childhood to the question "Who do you want to become?" Answer: "Police". This is perhaps the most common answer, as is "astronaut". For some, this has remained just a childhood dream - and nothing more. But there are those who have chosen their life path since childhood and really dream of working in law enforcement, fighting illegality and crime and helping people. After all, this profession is one of the most important for the state. Police officers protect public order, property, life and health of our citizens. Without the police, chaos and anarchy would reign in society. Do you want to become a police officer?

Where do you study to be a police officer?

So, in order to get the coveted form, it’s not enough just to unlearn at a comprehensive school. This will require special skills (not only physical ones) and specialized education.

In our country, future law enforcement officers are trained by a special police school. This is an educational institution that produces qualified workers in this field. It is in the schools of the police that the practical skills necessary for the successful performance of official tasks, which are sometimes not only difficult, but also life-threatening, are given. Such establishments are designed mainly for the male population of the country. Girls are rare here - no more than 10%.

Choosing a school

So, what is the police school like? In Russia, there are several stages of obtaining a "police" education.

The first stage is the secondary school of the militia or the cadet corps. Also here are some colleges that offer the specialty "Law and Social Security Organization" (lawyer).

Educational institutions of this type are Astrakhan, Novosibirsk, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yelabuga, Bryansk and other secondary special police schools of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. As well as the Moscow and Simbirsk Cadet Corps of Justice. Secondary police schools offer daytime, evening and duration of study in such an institution depends on the form of education and on the education already available, but does not exceed three years.

The maximum rank that can be awarded upon graduation from a secondary specialized institution is junior lieutenant.

If you want something better and more significant, then you have to get a higher education. So, you need the Higher School of Police. Such institutions include: Moscow, Krasnodar and St. Petersburg universities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Nizhny Novgorod, Volgograd and Omsk academies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as the Academy of Economic Security located in Moscow, Siberian Law, Barnaul, Voronezh, Rostov, Saratov and other institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Russia. Here, as well as in secondary schools, the possibility of daytime, evening and correspondence forms of education is provided. The study lasts up to 5 years.

The higher police school makes it possible in the future, upon graduation, to apply not only for higher ranks, but also for prestigious work in the prosecutor's office, justice, etc.

Well, the highest level is the Academy of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. It is she who trains the leaders of the police at various levels and retrains personnel.

Who can become a police officer

So, any citizen of the Russian Federation can become a candidate for admission to the police school. The main requirements for applicants are good physical fitness and good health.

To be admitted, you must pass the exams well. The police school also requires fairly high marks in the certificate of basic or secondary education.

There are age restrictions for candidates. So, the maximum age of the applicant should not exceed 25 years.

How to get into police school

So, you are serious about doing it. What to do?

At the end of the nine classes of a regular school, a secondary police school awaits you. Usually young people enter there who have permanent registration in the area in which such an institution is located. Admission to school takes some time, requires certain actions and efforts, and consists of several stages. Now more about each of them.

Stage 1: application

The first step for you is to apply for admission to your chosen school. It is written in the name of the director of the educational institution. An important point is that the police school is not entitled to accept a document if it does not contain the signatures of the parents of the student candidate. Parents or guardians are required to give their permission for their child to enter such an educational institution. Nothing without this.

The deadline for submitting an application is limited - it can be sent to the school before

Stage 2: checking the "past"

After the police school has accepted your application, it is sent to a special personnel service. There, personal files of each of the applicants are created in accordance with the requirements, and all information relating to the applicant who submitted the application is checked and studied.

At this stage, nothing is needed from you, except for the ideal “past”. The personnel service carefully checks not only the presence and absence of a criminal record and bringing to criminal or administrative responsibility the student candidate himself, but also his next of kin. So here, how lucky.

At the end of the check, a decision is made: either give a recommendation for enrollment in a police school, or refuse.

Stage 3: medical examination

While the “past” is being checked, the applicant himself is not sitting idle. In order to enter the police school, it is necessary to pass a medical examination. As a rule, this is done at the place of residence of the applicant.

For admission to the medical commission, you must provide:

  • the results of some tests: for example, blood for syphilis or AIDS, fluorography, ECG of the heart and others;
  • an extract from the medical record for the previous five years;
  • information about previous vaccinations.

Based on the data provided, the medical commission makes one of the following decisions: whether the candidate is fit or not fit to serve in the police.

Stage 4: IQ

First, it is necessary to pass a special test, which determines whether the candidate takes any drugs, suffers from alcohol or other toxic addiction. If the test is passed successfully, the applicant proceeds to the entrance test. At this stage, it is checked at what level is his intellectual development. Here, the police school itself chooses what the test will be. It can be an exam, an interview or a psychological IQ).

Stage 5: Exams

Upon passing psychological testing, student candidates are allowed to test the knowledge gained in a comprehensive school. Examinations for admission to the police school are taken in oral and written form. Applicants take the Russian language and the history of Russia.

Testing knowledge of the Russian language takes place in the form of a short essay, presentation or dictation. The exam in the history of Russia is taken orally.

Stage 6: fitness check

After the intellectual test, the last and most important stage awaits you. If you successfully pass the physical test, then you are guaranteed admission to the police school.

So, the physical preparation of applicants is checked for certain sports. In addition, the standards for boys and girls are different. For both girls and boys, long (1-2 km) and short (100 m) distances are provided. And also for guys - pulling up on a high bar, for girls - performing certain complex strength exercises.

The result after passing the test can be expressed by the wording: "excellent", "good", "satisfactory" or "unsatisfactory".

To pass the sprint, guys must run with the following result (in seconds):

  • 13.6 - "excellent";
  • 14.2 - "good";
  • 14.6 - "satisfactory".

Girls can run slower and pass with the following result:

  • 16.5 - "excellent";
  • 17.1 - "good";
  • 17.5 - "satisfactory".

To pass a long distance run (2 km), the guys must have the following result (in minutes and seconds):

  • 7.50 - "excellent";
  • 8.10 - "good";
  • 9.00 - "satisfactory".

The long distance for girls is shorter than for boys and is 1 kilometer. They should come running with the following result (in minutes and seconds):

  • 4.25 - "excellent";
  • 4.45 - "good";
  • 5.00 - "satisfactory".

Pull-ups for young men are evaluated depending on the number of times:

  • 12 - "excellent";
  • 10 - "good";
  • 6 - "satisfactory".

Strength exercises for girls (for example, exercises for the abdominal muscles) are also evaluated depending on the number of times:

  • 30 - "excellent";
  • 26 - "good";
  • 24 - "satisfactory".

If the applicant does not score the required number of points or seconds for at least one of the exercises, he receives the overall result - “unsatisfactory”.

A negative result is equivalent to failing the exam, which automatically nullifies all the applicant's chances of admission.

Enrollment in the police school occurs after the admissions committee of the educational institution considers the results of checks at all stages: applications for admission, conclusions of the medical commission, the result of checking for the presence and absence of a criminal record and criminal or administrative liability, the level of intelligence, as well as grades for entrance exams and physical training.

Based on everything passed by the applicant, the commission makes a decision whether this applicant is suitable for studying at the police school or not. But it must be remembered that there are many who wish, and only the most worthy and purposeful are accepted as students.

Cops in skirts

And what about the fair sex? After all, not only boys can be policemen, but girls too. Of course, after all, this profession has long been considered masculine and requires great physical fitness. And in some educational institutions, such as cadet corps, generally only boys are accepted as students.

But the girls are gradually achieving equality here as well. Today, 20% of police officers are women! And it is no longer uncommon to meet a "cop in a skirt" on the street.

There is no such special educational institution as a police school for girls in our country. Training takes place with the guys. All go through a rigorous selection process. Of course, it is much more difficult for girls to enter such educational institutions, since initially fewer “student places” are created for them. However, upon admission, the standards for them are less than for guys.

Perhaps the most famous girl in the Russian police is Oksana Fedorova - a major, as well as a winner of world beauty contests, a successful model, TV presenter, etc.

And yet it is not a woman's profession. Many of the girls who have already become police officers are faced with a very pressing problem: family or work. And this is wrong. After all, a woman should have time for children and a family hearth, but a man should defend the Motherland.
