They know firsthand how useful it can sometimes be to hit every wall that just comes into view. A lot of interesting things can be hidden behind them. The Dark Souls series is one of the few games with really complex secrets. If you have not yet explored every corner of Lordran, then we will tell you how to find all the illusory walls.

Illusory walls are the most common doors, but they can only be opened by a blow. If after the swing of the sword the wall disappeared, then most likely something really useful and interesting awaits you ahead.

Illusory walls usually hide Covenants (which you can join), NPCs, bosses, and secret locations that open the way to other hidden areas. Behind some you can find the best armor in the game. So trust me, you don't want to miss out on what's behind them.

Dark Souls: Remastered - All Illusory Wall Locations

Illusory walls are secret doors that instantly disappear when attacked. In locations from additions, instead of physical strength, you must use the Spell of Light ( Cast light). This is the only way to make the wall disappear. Usually chests, special characters with unique quests, bonfires, and sometimes entire hidden locations are hidden behind them.

Now you know where to find all the illusory walls and what lies behind them. As a rule, these are chests with non-story bosses, useful characters, bonfires and other bonuses. Sometimes, in order to get to the treasures, you will have to kill additional enemies or use special items that are desirable to purchase in advance.

In the game Dark Souls 2, illusory walls are one of the game elements, externally expressed barriers that restrict access to secret passages and treasures. These walls are practically no different from the rest, so to activate them you need to know in advance where to look.

After passing the second fire, run to the stairs nearby and climb it. Then turn left, moving towards where there was a corridor with two Sorceresses before the boss encounter. 12. Dark Souls 2 illusory walls, location: memory of Orro

On the right side of Pharros's door is a set of steel armor and a fire seed.

The territory called the Forgotten Fortress is presented to the attention of the player by one of the locations of the darksouls 2 virtual world, bringing darkness and death. According to history, this fortress was built even before the formation of Drangleic by one of the prehistoric kingdoms. This fortress was considered a prison. Connects the Hill of Sinners and the Tower of the Moon, and is also a passage to the Deserted Pier and the Forest of the Fallen Giants.

The final ending of the development of this intriguing location will be an unforgettable duel with the boss of the Forgotten Fortress - Guardians of the Ruins. Under the ruins of the fortress is the chamber of the Forgotten Sinner, which will also have to be explored.

In darksouls 2, a forgotten fortress opens up great possibilities. To get into it, you need to defeat the final boss of the location called the Forest of Fallen Giants, whose name is the Pursuer. An alternative way to the Forgotten Hold is to take the ship from the Deserted Wharf as soon as you deal with the Agile Sentinel.

For the darksouls 2 player, the Forgotten Fortress bonfires are represented by five dots. The first fire you light depends on how you got here. If you came by ship, the Ignannikov Chambers will serve as your first fire. It is necessary to go up on the game elevator to the chamber on the left. There will be a fire. If you entered the Forgotten Hold through the Forest of Giants, then the first bonfire is located in the Remote Tower. When you remove the petrification from Straid along the way, you will gain access to another bonfire. In darksouls 2, a blacksmith in a forgotten fortress stands in his workshop and a fire is also provided there. There are two options for meeting with Blacksmith MacDuff:

The first is to throw down the stairs a barrel with an explosive substance, which, when it collides with a wall, detonates and opens up the possibility of meeting an NPC and a fire. It is also necessary to have arrows with fire damage or a torch to explode the barrel, because it may not flare up from hitting the wall.

The second is to get the key from the door with the bars to the workshop. To do this, you need to defeat the gargoyles of the bell.

The last bonfire is lit after the final boss fight, called the Servant's Dwelling bonfire.

When traveling in Darksouls 2 Forgotten Fortress, the secrets of opening doors promise danger - not all of them lead into the room, one of them carries a mortal danger. You will fly into the abyss and death is inevitable.

The illusory walls in the forgotten fortress that exist according to the scenario of darksouls 2 are not easy to find. To do this, we publish tips that will help unravel the mystery of illusion.

There are a lot of these walls in the room with the final boss. You will find four illusory walls on the first floor of the building. You will find two walls on the second floor (the first one is near the stone steps, the second one is on the collapsed balcony).

At the dead end of the tower with Strijd (you have to go down two flights down) there are also two walls that open the exit to the balcony. An elevator is hidden on the second floor of the same tower. It looks like a torture chamber. He will lead to the floor below to the chest.

On the street of the courtyard near the well with the dead and the dogs guarding it, you can enter the room to the right and undermine the secret wall with a break with a sword or a bomb.

On the wall opposite the balcony of the tower, there is also a secret that holds a shield with golden wings.

In darksouls 2, the passage of a forgotten fortress promises a lot more expensive loot. Remember the elevator near the Deserted Pier. If you start it, and then jump onto the roof, then after stopping you will see a corpse with a saber and repair powder.

Take your time running across the bridge to Sinner's Hill. To your right will be a royal swordsman protecting wealth.

One of the chests in darksouls 2 contains a dull ember in the Forgotten Hold. This chest of coal is located in the Remote Tower near the fire. A bird from the Forest of Giants location will take you to this place almost immediately after the fight with the Chaser boss. It's worth noting that Dim Ember won't carry over to the next playthrough because it's a key. It will have to be re-mined.

The boss in the forgotten fortress of darksouls 2 consists of three strong opponents at once, with weak resistance to darkness. Also susceptible to poisoning. Possible options and tactics for killing the boss are described in more detail on wikia.com

Illusory walls are hidden barriers to secret passages and treasures. They do not stand out from the general background, and in order to detect them, you need to know in advance about their location. You can also use a spell from the rank of miracles "guide" to find them, and the inscription "search the surroundings" will appear in front of the illusory door. To open such a wall, use the "Action" button.

Here are their locations:

Forest of Fallen Giants:
- After the first meeting with Pate. Enter through the lowering gate, then we go into the corridor. Before the stairs start, the wall will be on the right. Behind the wall is a sorcerer's staff and amber grass.

Deserted pier:
- In the building with a lattice (cutoff path), on the ground floor opposite the front door is a ghostly wall. Hides a large titanite shard and a firebomb x3 bomb.
- In the building after the place where the shortcut is, there is a building on the right side (two swordsmen - Vangarians are still sitting there and there are many barrels of poison). There is a wall behind the barrels, stands out. It is not illusory, it must be broken with weapons. Behind her is the king's soldier's ring and a crystal lizard.

Forgotten Fortress:
- There are two walls in a row here at once: The first one is under Straid's chamber, two floors below, in one of the openings in the wall (there will be a dead end, which, as it were, hints), the next one is in the corridor to which the first wall leads. Behind them will lie a corpse, to which you will need to jump. It contains a fiery butterfly and a torch x3. On the same platform with the corpse, there will be a very thin path on the right (consider it is part of the wall), you need to go along it until it stops. At the end is a shield with golden wings and the soul of a brave warrior.
- In the room where we fought the Guardians of the Ruins, there will be six illusory walls at once on two floors (including the wall on the flight of stairs). The easiest way to find them is by using the "guide" spell. Well, or run along the walls and blindly press "Action".

Hill of Sinners:
- We go down the elevator. We enter the water, on the right and left in the openings there will be large mobs. If you look into the right opening, then the wall will be opposite us. Hides the Northern Ritual Ring.

Hunter Grove:
- After the fire under the bridge we leave, we go to the left (it is necessary to break a tree to pass). We go up the stairs, go into the building, fall down (not into a round hole, but just one level lower). Then we rise and go point-blank to the wall on the left. This is the first illusory door. We go along the corridor in it, we go down on a convenient elevator, and we go point-blank. This is the second door. Be careful - behind her is a strong mob and two poisonous butterflies. In the chest is Ricardo's Rapier. You can get here in another way: we leave the same fire and fall down (carefully so as not to fly over), find a hole in the mountain and go into it, and under this road there will be the same zone with that strong mob. The advantage is that we will also take away the extra loot.

Earth Peak:
- Before the passage to the fog of the boss Mit, on the right there will be a passage in the wall. You need to climb to the very top and go "outside". To the right and left (outside) there will be two Illusory Walls. Behind one of them is the Bonfire, behind the second - Something Petrified.
- After the second fire, we go up the stairs to the top (there will still be a floor trap on the floor with the launch of three arrows). We see a long staircase to the top, go up and go to the left - towards that corridor with steps and two bots (corridor leading to the boss). We go into the corridor, turn to the right, break the vessels with acid, behind them there will be an illusory wall. Behind her is the Mage's Quartz Ring +1.

Iron Citadel:
- After moving to the Tower of the Sun location, you need to ring the bell and go through this location to the end, thereby returning to the Iron Citadel, and before jumping down, feel the only wall (it will be on the right, you won’t miss it). Behind it is the Great Sword of the Black Knight, the Protective Bell, and the Great Shield with Wood.
- Before reaching Magerold (merchant), there will be a left turn. We go up the stairs and there will be a wall on the right - this is the first illusory wall. 20 fiery arrows will lie there. Then we go in - and into the wall that the ballista is looking at - this is the second one. Watch out, there's a knight behind her.

- There is an illusory door in front of the boss in the church on the left. On NG+ and beyond, there will be a hostile cleric at the end (same as the ones during the boss itself). Hides Estus Flask Shard.

- In front of the queen, if you do not climb the last steps - on the left, immediately after the previous steps, there is a staircase. If you go down it and go around this corner - there will be an illusory wall. There is a fire behind her.

Crypt of the Undead:
- In the room where the red phantom invades, exactly opposite the passage to the corridor to the two knights of Reeve (two bulls, armed with two shields) - there will be an illusory door. Be careful with opening the chest - ghosts crawl out from the walls. Hides - Evelyn.
- From this place, a corridor leads further to a hole in the floor, grave stones and a bell are below. One of the walls of this room is illusory, behind it is the door of Pharros. Hides Olenford's staff.

Citadel of Aldia:
