How many points are each exam task worth. Unified State Exam. Maximum USE score in mathematics

Graduation from school and admission to a university is accompanied by the passing of a unified state exam. When passing it, graduates wonder how the primary score is converted into a hundred percent scale.

The conversion of USE scores into grades is aimed at determining what indicator a future student can count on.

USE calculator by subject

Scale for converting USE scores into grades

In the process of studying at school, children receive grades on a five-point scale, and in fact even on a four-point scale, since one is rarely given.

When passing exams in the ninth and eleventh grades, students are faced with such concepts as primary scores for assignments, as well as a hundred-point scale.

The basic verification procedure is based on computer analysis and peer review. The test part is subjected to automated calculation, it is problematic to challenge the data. But the part that experts check can be subjected to additional analysis.

All scores are also converted into grades. Despite the fact that this indicator does not have a significant impact, many students are interested in what marks certain primary items give.

Mathematics

Over the past few years, two types of exams have been held in mathematics:

  • basic, which is needed to obtain a certificate;
  • profile level - required for admission to technical universities.

In the first case, the maximum possible primary score is twenty, a five requires seventeen points, a four requires twelve, and a three requires a total of seven points.

As for the profile, an excellent mark is given to those who scored from thirteen to thirty points. A four is for those who have received points ranging from ten to twelve points, and a three is placed from six primary points.

Russian language

The maximum primary score in Russian is thirty-nine, to get a five it is permissible to lose five points. The four starts from twenty-five points, and the three from fifteen. With a set of less than fourteen - the exam is considered not passed.

Foreign languages

The highest primary score of all exams - for foreign languages - seventy.

To get an excellent grade, you need to score at least fifty-nine points.

As for the four, forty-six points are quite enough, and for the three - twenty-nine.

If the graduate scored less than twenty-eight, then the exam will not be counted.

Geography

To be an excellent student in geography, you should solve tasks for twenty-seven points, the maximum bar is thirty-two. Four - from twenty to twenty-six, and for a three, only twelve points are enough.

Biology

Forty-six points can be accumulated for the biology exam, moreover, the lower bar for the five is thirty-seven points.

A three starts at thirteen, and a four starts at twenty-six.

A test that scores less than twelve points is considered to be failed.

Literature

With the successful delivery of literature within the framework of the Unified State Examination, you can get up to thirty-three points, while the five counts from twenty-seven. For a four, twenty points are enough, and for a three, twelve.

Chemistry

For chemistry, it is allowed to score thirty-four points, of which twenty-seven will be enough for an excellent mark. The four starts with nineteen, and for the three, nine points are enough.

Story

Forty-four points are accumulated for the history exam.

A lack of even nine points will give the graduate an excellent mark.

A good student in history will be the one who solves the test for twenty-four points. A satisfactory score starts with thirteen points.

Informatics

The lowest primary score for the computer science exam is twenty-two. However, in order to get a mark of five, let's say the shortfall is only four points. A three of a kind starts with five points, and a three of a kind starts with twelve.

Social science

To get an A in social studies, you need to score from thirty-four to thirty-five points. Twenty-five will be enough for good students, and fifteen will be enough for those who are satisfied with a satisfactory mark.

Preparation for the exam

The GDZ online service, which presents solutions from various authors, including mathematics grade 6 Vilenkin, has many advantages over using paper-based solutions:

  1. the service is free;
  2. you can download textbooks;
  3. the service is available at any time of the day, any day of the week;

  5. the service contains solutions compiled by highly qualified specialists, which eliminates the possibility of obtaining inaccurate or low-quality information.

Important advantages of the GDZ online service are the ability to access from any computer device, regardless of the operating system installed on the device.

A wide selection of solution books presented on the site allows you to find the answer to almost any question of interest to the student. So now it's easier to learn.

What does the primary score in the exam mean

Basic concepts:

  1. Primary - the amount of points that can be scored with solved tasks; Depending on the complexity, tasks are assigned a certain number of points.
  2. Test - points transferred to the system of one hundred points for solved tasks.

This system was invented to simplify the calculation of results, since admission to a university is based on the sum of points for several exams, and the maximum primary indicator for subjects is different.

The fact is that each task in the topics is evaluated separately and there is a special counter for distributing points.

How to convert primary points to secondary

In order to transfer primary points to secondary ones, you need to use a special scale, which is presented on the official FIPI websites, as well as a number of third-party sources.

It is problematic to make a calculation on your own, for this you need to know exactly the principle of enumeration.

The article presents a calculator for the translation of information. The criteria that are considered are based on the performance of the exam passed.

Minimum scores for the exam

The minimum points are approved each year as the basis required to graduate from the school and be eligible to apply.

In accordance with the current legislation, in order to graduate from school with an official document of education, it is necessary to pass two subjects:

  • Russian - twenty-four;
  • mathematics - twenty-seven.

All other subjects are taken for admission to the university. This means that the student has the right not to choose anything, with the exception of the Russian language and mathematics, and to take at least all the subjects from the table.

As for the entrance points for admission, the higher education institution independently determines the threshold for each subject, but this parameter cannot be lower than that set at the state level.

The indicators look like this:

  1. Russian language, chemistry, biology and physics - thirty-six.
  2. Mathematics - twenty-seven.
  3. Computer science - forty.
  4. History and literature - thirty-two.
  5. Foreign languages - twenty-two.
  6. Social studies - forty-two.
  7. Geography - thirty-seven.

This list contains secondary points, that is, the points have already been converted to a hundred-point system. It is important to take into account the fact that a particular university has the right to set excessive requirements for balling, this is not prohibited by law.

The maximum score on the exam

The maximum score in the unified state exam for each of the subjects is one hundred in the secondary system.

In order to determine the maximum number of points allowed per discipline, one should refer either to the conversion table from primary to secondary points, or to the codifier for the subjects presented in each average test trial.

How to score 100 points on the exam

To gain the maximum number of points in the exam, you need not only to be well versed in the subject, but also to be able to competently solve standard test tasks.

When preparing, you should be guided by the following:

  1. For several years, daily study the material in the subjects that are planned to be taken after graduation.
  2. Solve a lot of test-type tasks, this will help you to fill your hand and repeat all the topics more than once.
  3. When solving the tasks of the written part, it is worth contacting experts who will help in the analysis and suggest the rules for registration.
  4. At the exam itself, behave calmly, if the graduate is well versed in the topic, then there will be no problems with solutions.

The conversion of USE scores into grades is a formality that allows you to evaluate the results in a more familiar way. But the calculation from primary to secondary is an important stage. Higher education institutions set bars and passing standards based on a hundred-point scale.

After checking the USE assignments in mathematics, a primary score is set for their implementation:

  • For the basic level in mathematics - from 0 to 20;
  • For the profile level in mathematics - from 0 to 30.

Each task is evaluated by a certain number of points: the more difficult the task, the more points you can get for it. For the correct performance of each task in the exam in mathematics at the basic level, 1 point is given. For the correct completion of tasks in the USE in mathematics at the profile level, from 1 to 4 points are given, depending on the complexity of the task.

After that, the primary score is converted into a test score, which is indicated in the USE certificate. It is this score that is used for admission to higher educational institutions. Translation of USE scores carried out using a special scoring scale. The USE score in basic mathematics is not required for admission, so it is not converted into a test score and is not indicated in the USE certificate.

Also, by the score for the exam, you can determine the approximate grade on a five-point scale that a student would receive for completing tasks on the exam.

For the correct performance of each task of part 1 (except tasks 8, 16 and 26), the examinee receives 1 point. For an incorrect answer or its absence, 0 points are set.

Task 8 can be assigned from 0 to 5 points. For each correctly indicated digit corresponding to the number from the list, the examinee receives 1 point (5 points: no errors; 4 points: one mistake was made; 3 points: two mistakes were made; 2 points: two are correctly indicated
numbers; 1 point: only one number is correct; 0 points: completely wrong answer, i.e. incorrect sequence of numbers or its absence. The order in which the numbers are written in the answer matters.

Task 16 can be assigned from 0 to 2 points. The answer is considered correct if it contains all the numbers from the standard and there are no other numbers. 1 point is given if: one of the numbers indicated in the answer does not correspond to the standard; one of the numbers specified in the standard is missing
response. In all other cases, 0 points are given. The order in which the digits are written in the answer does not matter.

Task 26 can be assigned from 0 to 4 points. The answer is considered correct if it contains all the numbers from the standard and there are no other numbers. For each correctly indicated digit corresponding to the number of the term from the list, the examinee receives 1 point (4 points: no errors; 3 points: one mistake was made; 2 points: two mistakes were made; 1 point: only one digit is correctly indicated; 0 points: a completely incorrect answer, that is, an incorrect sequence of numbers or its absence. The order in which the numbers are written in the answer matters.

The maximum number of points that an examinee who correctly completed the task of part 2 can receive is 24. For the correct completion of all tasks of the examination paper, you can get a maximum of 58 primary points.

A couple of years ago, experts divided the USE in mathematics into basic and specialized levels. This allowed graduates to prepare more effectively for the exam and get better results when passing. The results of the exam in mathematics will be announced today.

In Russia, the main period for passing final exams continues. The results of tests in literature, geography, and the Russian language are known. The results are published on the official information portal of the exam. There are also results for passing the basic level in mathematics. But there is no data on tests in mathematics at the profile level yet, but this particular exam has already attracted special attention.

For the majority of children and parents, the USE is still, first of all, a test of stress resistance.

“I would like to reassure parents that there is no need to always set the children a hundred points. The race for a hundred points has a detrimental effect on children, ”says Tatyana Baranova, head of the department of the Moscow Center for the Quality of Education.

More than 60 thousand people were not just nervous - they protested against too difficult tasks in specialized mathematics. Signed a petition demanding a review of the evaluation criteria. The developers of the exam items believe that those who are dissatisfied with the results simply did not do math well enough at school. They say that these children were "drilled for the exam" on the demo version on the Internet, and this is not enough.

Translation of USE scores in mathematics 2018

Scale for transferring USE scores in basic mathematics.

If the subject of mathematics is not needed for admission to a university, it is enough to pass the base. The variant consists of 20 tasks of the basic level of complexity. The points scored correspond to a certain mark on a five-point system.

If 0-6 tasks are correctly solved, this is equal to grade 2. Retake is possible for the next year. If more than 7 tasks are solved, the exam is passed.

If initially only mathematics of the basic level was chosen, and then it was decided to enter the faculty, where mathematics is in the entrance examination column, documents for admission to the university will not be accepted. For doubters, you can immediately choose 2 exams: both the base and the profile.

Scale for transferring USE scores in mathematics at the profile level.

The exam consists of 19 tasks of various difficulty levels. 12 tasks with a short answer and 7 tasks with a detailed one. Each task is evaluated by a different number of primary points. If you add all the scores together, the maximum primary score is 32.

To challenge the results of the exam, there are 2 days from the date of the official announcement of the results of the exam in mathematics. If there is confidence that the assessment was underestimated, and the graduate will be able to prove this with arguments to the members of the appeal commission, you need to defend your interests. First you need to contact your school to the administration or teachers.

USE scores conversion table 2018 in mathematics

At the moment, to convert the primary score into grades, there is a scale only for the basic USE in mathematics, while in the profile version of the exam, the primary score is translated into a secondary one.

The scale below reflects only an approximate picture of the translation, but is the most current table for the translation of USE 2018 scores in mathematics at the moment.

The data are compiled on the basis of the unified state exam for the last academic year.

For the basic exam, the red line means the minimum threshold for passing, obtaining a certificate. In order to get a certificate and pass the base for a triple, a student needs to score at least 7 primary points out of 20. An excellent result begins with 17 correctly completed test tasks.

There are special formulas for transferring to the secondary score of the profile exam in mathematics. The red line indicates the lower threshold for passing the profile exam. At the same time, if a student passed the basic exam in mathematics for at least three, but did not pass the profile exam, there is no possibility of retaking the profile exam.

Thus, the required minimum in mathematics in order to count on admission, where a profile level is required, is 6 primary points.

The green zone shows the level of deep understanding of the subject, a high level of knowledge.

Principles for evaluating work on the USE in the upcoming 2019

Over the past few years, the USE system in a number of subjects has undergone significant changes and has been brought to an optimal format that allows you to fully assess the amount of knowledge of a graduate in a particular subject. In 2018-2019, the same principles will be applied to evaluate the work of graduates as in 2017-2018: automated verification of forms; involvement of experts in checking tasks with detailed answers.

The first part of the examination paper involves a short answer to the questions posed, which the USE participant must enter in a special answer form. Before starting work, you must familiarize yourself with the rules for filling out the form, since an incorrectly executed work will not pass an automated check. If the work was not counted due to the fault of the participant who incorrectly filled out the form, the result is equated to unsatisfactory.

In many subjects, in addition to the test part, there are tasks that require a full detailed answer. Experts are involved in the verification - two experienced teachers with a long work experience. When checking the exam, the teacher does not know whose work lies in front of him and in which city (region) it was written. Verification is carried out on the basis of uniform assessment criteria developed specifically for each subject.

If the opinion of the experts coincides, the assessment is put on the form, but if independent appraisers disagree, then a third expert is involved in the verification, whose opinion will be decisive. Based on the results of the check, the USE participant is awarded a certain number of primary points, which are then transferred to text. In different subjects, a different maximum of primary points is provided, depending on the number of tasks. But after bringing the result according to the corresponding table, the USE participant receives the final test score, which is the official result of his final tests (maximum 100 points). So, in order to pass the exam, it is enough to score the established minimum threshold for the primary score.

After checking the USE assignments in the Russian language, the initial score for their implementation is set: from 0 to 57. Each assignment is evaluated by a certain number of points: the more difficult the assignment, the more points you can get for it. For the correct performance of tasks in the USE in the Russian language, from 1 to 5 points are given, depending on the complexity of the task. At the same time, you can get from 0 to 24 points for an essay.

After that, the primary score is converted into a test score, which is indicated in the USE certificate. It is this score that is used for admission to higher educational institutions. Translation of USE scores carried out using a special scoring scale.

Also, by the score for the USE, you can determine the approximate mark on a five-point scale that a student would receive for completing tasks in the Russian language in the exam.
