Round hot-rolled steel or just a circle is produced in coils and rods. The range of steel wheels and the requirements for geometry are established by GOST 2590-2006 (replacing GOST 2590-88). Technical conditions must comply with GOST 535-2005 (formerly GOST 535-88), for wheels made of ordinary carbon steel grades. Most often, ordinary carbon wheels are used from steel grade 3.

The values of the weight of a linear meter and the number of meters per ton are given for reference and calculated based on the nominal dimensions of the rental products indicated in the table. The steel density is taken to be 7.85 g/cm3. The actual mass values of one meter of circle may differ from the nominal ones by 1-9% depending on the diameter and accuracy of the rolled product.
When placing an order, it is necessary to take into account the deviations in the geometric dimensions and weight of the meter provided for by GOST 2590-2006.

Our company has the ability to supply steel circles of the following grades - 10, 20, 35, 45, 09G2S, 20Kh, 40Kh, 65G, 18KhGT, 30KhGSA, as well as other steel grades from stock and on order.

Specifications and useful information

Round steel is divided according to rolling accuracy:

Particularly high - AO1
High - A1, A2, A3
Increased - B1
Regular - B1, B2, B3, B4, B5

Steel circles are produced in coils (nmd), measured length (md) or unmeasured length (nd).

Round bars are produced in the following lengths:

from 2 to 12 meters - from carbon steel of ordinary quality and low-alloy steel
from 2 to 6 meters - made of high-quality carbon steel, alloy and high-alloy steel

The ovality of rolled products should not exceed 75% of the sum of the maximum deviations in diameter. In some cases, at the request of the consumer (according to the agreed specification), the ovality of rolled products may not exceed 50% of the sum of the maximum deviations in diameter.

The areas of application of round steel are very wide. Thus, circles can be used both for the manufacture of hinges in reinforced concrete products, instead of A1 reinforcement, provided they meet the strength characteristics, and in the manufacture of various metal structures, such as metal stairs and gratings. In addition, small circles are often used instead of wire rods for tying and packing heavy loads.

Wheels made from structural grades are mainly used for machining on lathes and milling machines, for the manufacture of various machine parts and mechanisms.

Steel circles are usually made in the following sizes: 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 16, 18, 20, 22, 25, 28, 32, 36. Intermediate sizes can be manufactured according to consumer requirements, for example 23, 26, 30, 34, etc. .d...

It is possible to manufacture and supply circles of large sizes, in increments of 1-2 millimeters. All Circles can be made from structural grades.

Prices

In recent years, the price of steel circles has changed very dynamically, which makes it very difficult to publish an up-to-date price that corresponds to the present moment.

We ask you to check the current prices and availability of the products you are interested in.

50% of the sum of maximum deviations in diameter and no more than 60% of the sum of maximum deviations in diameter for rolled products made of alloy tool and high-speed steel.

2.6 Rolled products with a diameter of up to 9 mm inclusive are produced in coils, above mm - in rods.

By agreement between the manufacturer and the consumer (according to the agreed specification), rolled products with a diameter of more than 9 mm are produced in coils and less than 9 mm inclusive - in rods.

2.7 Rolled products are made in length:

from 2 to 12 m inclusive - from carbon steel of ordinary quality and low-alloy steel;

from 2 to 6 m inclusive - from high-quality carbon and alloy steel; from 1 to 6 m inclusive - made of high-alloy steel.

By agreement between the manufacturer and the consumer (according to the agreed specification), rolled products are manufactured in unmeasured lengths ranging from 3 to 13 m inclusive, while 10% of the bars by weight of the batch may have a shorter length, but not less than 75% of the minimum length.

2.8 Maximum deviations for the manufactured length of rolled stock of cut and multiple cut lengths must not exceed the values specified in Table 3.

Table 3

2.9 The curvature of the rolled product should not exceed the values indicated in Table 4.

Table 4

1 * At the request of the consumer (according to the agreed specification).

2.10 The curvature of the rolled product is measured over a section of at least 1 m in length at a distance of at least 100 mm from the end of the bar.

2.11 The diameter and ovality of rolled products are measured at a distance of at least 100 mm from the end of the bar and at least 1.5 m from the end of the coil when its weight is up to 250 kg and at a distance of at least 3.0 m when the coil weighs over 250 kg.

2.11.1 By agreement between the manufacturer and the consumer (according to the agreed specification), the diameter, ovality and curvature of the rolled product are measured at a distance of at least 150 mm from the end of the bar.
