A children's room is a room that should grow with the child. From birth, here the child learns to distinguish colors, gets acquainted with various types materials, rests and sleeps, and then studies and plays. The entire interior of the room must be carefully thought out, and Special attention You need to pay attention to the question of how to choose curtains for the nursery.

Models and design

Curtains for children are divided into several types:

  1. Simple style curtains- smooth curtains with tulle. They can be placed to the floor or to the window sill, depending on the interior and the beauty of the radiators;
  2. Roman blinds or blinds.

In a girl’s room, it is better to use two or more fabrics - they will allow you to “play” with decoration elements, and they are also easier to move.

For the crib, you can hang a decorative pendant in the shape of the sun or other accessories.

The tulle between the two curtains will give you the opportunity to choose several lighting modes: darkening with offset curtains and transparent diffused light.

For a boy's room, quite thick, but light, soft asymmetrical curtains are suitable. Modern fabrics solve any problem: soften the angular lines of rooms, hide unevenness.

If you install blinds in a child's room, you can afford the lightest basic curtains that let in more light.

Styles

Provence

The easiest way to make a room more comfortable is to use a lot of textiles and pillows. In the Provence style, curtains can be Roman, fabric rolls, classic with or without lambrequins, as well as curtains. It is desirable that the fabrics be natural or mixed, but not pure synthetics.

As for the design, the curtains are suitable either completely without decoration, or with country-style decorations: frills, lace inserts, embroidery. The pattern on the fabric can be as follows: cage, roosters, flowers, plants.

Classical

It's no secret that style is created by details, especially classic style. Window trim V classic style- a whole science, but in a children's room complex combinations and magnificent draperies are useless. Combinations of curtains, tulle or classic curtains plus the Roman ones will be beautiful and not so fancy. The main thing is to choose natural or mixed fabrics that are easy to wash and iron.

Curtains should be traditional: checkered, striped, floral fabric. By the way, you can use the classic technique and choose curtains and wallpaper of the same tone and pattern.

Rustic

In the interior of a children's room rustic style Textiles occupy a special place, the main task of which is to create comfort. Therefore, you should pay special attention to the choice of curtains, carpets, bedspreads, bed linen and pillows. Textiles in a rustic style should be natural or mixed, cotton or linen are best.

Good choice There will be fabrics in traditional colors, checks, polka dots, as well as with rustic motifs - roosters, trees and windmills. By the way, most of the elements can be sewn or knitted with your own hands.

English

Bedspreads, pillows, upholstery and, of course, curtains play a big role in children's rooms in english style.

As for curtains, the most matching styles: Roman, classic version curtains Curtains can follow the wallpaper pattern. Classic draperies can be combined with Roman blinds.

Nautical

Marine style is especially relevant in the summer, but it will be no less interesting outside the holiday season, as pleasant memories of a vacation.

Fashionable lambrequins and draperies can be used as decorations. The charms of such curtains become most noticeable on hot summer days. They will bring a sip to the interior fresh air, will create memories of the sea, the beach, seagulls.

With a little ingenuity, you can turn your child's room into a cabin on a ship, a large liner, or just a hut on a desert island.

Girls prefer a romantic atmosphere, so marine-themed curtains should be chosen with appropriate prints: mermaids, fish, stars, shells.

Scandinavian

Scandinavian style is deservedly popular. It is simple and at the same time harmonious, its colors allow you to create visually spacious rooms even with a small area, and due to the use of mainly natural materials, it is safe for children.

For children's Scandinavian style Multi-colored curtains and bedspreads are suitable - the main thing is that their design either matches or harmonizes with each other. Colored rugs, bright book covers, toys - all this will stand out against the background of light and create a special atmosphere for children.

Length

Long curtains in a children's room are unsafe for small child. He may get tangled in them or use them as a swing. The best option would be a short model up to the window sill or 10-15 cm short of the floor.

Textile

The first principle according to which you should choose curtains is, of course, the material. The composition of the fabric will depend functional features curtains and their service life. All fabrics have their own characteristics, care rules, as well as disadvantages and advantages.

Linen

Linen curtains have long been considered an item of real luxury. After all, even the pharaohs did not neglect such decoration of their palaces. And today flax is considered one of the most suitable materials for creating cozy atmosphere in the children's bedroom.

First of all, it's environmentally friendly pure material which will never release harmful toxic substances and will fit perfectly even into a room for a newborn. It is believed that this material is capable of absorbing radiation emanating from household appliances. This fabric does not attract dust and is also less prone to staining. And even if some stain appears on such curtains, it will not greatly absorb the texture of the fiber, as a result of which it can be quickly washed off.

Such curtains perfectly complement any room because they are considered natural “air conditioners”: in winter they can warm the room, and in summer, on the contrary, they create pleasant coolness.

If we talk about the disadvantages of linen curtains for a children's room, there are not many of them. Do not use aggressive agents to clean them. This material may also shrink after the first wash. In addition, ironing linen curtains is not so easy.

Cotton

This fabric is quite inexpensive, like linen, organza, and calico, natural and safe. Great option for a children's bedroom. The curtains are easy to wash, iron and dry. They do not attract dust, but dirt can penetrate them quite deeply. In addition, cotton is prone to rapid fading of shades when exposed to ultraviolet rays and from frequent washing. You can find curtains made from a mixture of cotton and synthetic ingredients. They are not as prone to burnout and do not sit down.

Wool and silk fabrics

Of course, it is very difficult to argue with the fact that silk looks great and very elegant. But it is unlikely that a child’s room requires so much chic and shine, where a child at any moment could accidentally step on the curtains, spill some paint on them, or somehow ruin them.

Wool fibers are very susceptible to stretching, and with frequent washing, pellets appear on it. Therefore, lining is always used for silk and wool curtains. It is unlikely that there is a parent who is willing to spend a fortune looking at curtains made from such “fancy” materials. This option is definitely not for a child's room.

Bamboo fiber

Recently, curtains made from bamboo fiber have become increasingly popular. They are perfect for a children's room. In the assortment you can find the most matching colors, which perfectly complement the atmosphere of the children's room.

When choosing curtains for a children's room, first of all, you need to pay attention to the naturalness of the fabrics. This is what bamboo fiber has. Curtains hold back perfectly Sun rays, so that the baby will sleep well every day. In addition, they do not collect dust and do not accumulate static electricity.

Mixed fabrics

If you need to choose high-quality, inexpensive and at the same time practical curtains for the nursery, it is better to pay attention to samples made from mixed fabrics. It's relative a new group curtains that are produced by mixing natural and synthetic components. For the safety of children, it is important to pay attention to the percentage of these components.

Certainly, ideal option is buying curtains with minimum percentage synthetic fibers, for example, a veil. On the one hand, such curtains will have the same parameters as natural fabrics. But, on the other hand, it will be much easier to care for them. Additionally, adding polyester, acrylic or nylon allows the curtains to retain their original shape.

Color and print

When choosing the color of curtains, you should pay attention to the location of the children's room: if the windows face sunny side, it is better to give preference to cold shades, otherwise, choose fabric in warm sunny tones. When choosing a print, you need to pay attention to the design of the walls, because they take up largest area surfaces throughout the room. Therefore, curtains must be in harmony with this surface.

If the walls are decorated with children's drawings or pasted bright wallpaper, repeating the same picture on the curtains is undesirable. In this case, it is best to choose calmer monophonic curtains that will maintain balance and harmony in the children's room.

There is no need to choose bright shimmering shades, which can scare away the child and even negatively affect his nervous system.

Many parents try to choose curtains with images of animals or cartoon characters. In this case, it is better to think about how you can change them when the child gets older.

The optimal solution For any nursery there will be the following color options:

  • Simple small pattern or bright detail(letters, numbers, toys, animals, with stars, with owls, cars, with giraffes, polka dots) on a white or creamy background;
  • Natural colors (green, yellow, turquoise, white, blue, orange, bright, multi-colored);
  • More light shades natural colors (salad, lemon, blue, pink);
  • Bright patterns contrasting with a richly colored monochrome curtain (for quiet children);
  • Children's curtains with stripes or polka dots look great in the interior. In addition, curtains with a vertical stripe will visually make the ceiling higher, and those with a horizontal stripe will make the walls wider.

Choosing curtains for the nursery is not like that difficult task, as it may seem. The main thing is not to forget to pay attention to the composition of the fabrics and their characteristics.

Accessories

If desired, any curtains can be decorated with all kinds of additional elements. These can be clips, hooks, Velcro attachments that help develop imagination. Fairy tale characters, animals, stars that glow at night and act as a night light - this is how you can diversify the curtains in the nursery.

How to choose?

Children love bright and clean colors, large patterns and simple designs that evoke positive associations. That's why choosing curtains for a child's room is a little different from choosing curtains in other rooms.

Interior decoration room is very important for a child of any age. In the end, his own corner is exactly the place where the child will spend the most free time. In his room the child does homework, takes his friends there, spends free time from school, kindergarten or walking down the street. One way or another, his mood partly depends on the environment.

Therefore, it is important for parents to ensure that all components of the children's bedroom interior help the child develop and support good mood. One of the components of the cozy atmosphere of a children's room are curtains. You can choose colorful wallpaper, comfortable and safe furniture, bright lighting and plenty of toys. But without curtains the composition will not look complete.

When choosing curtains, it is important to consider the following:

  • Easy to maintain and durable. Curtains for a nursery should be washed as often as possible; the abundance of fabric does not harm the child’s health, but it makes the life of his mother more difficult. To make it easier to care for curtains, they should be simple style and are made from thick, high-quality, lint-free fabric.

  • Natural materials. It is best to choose linen and cotton curtains; they collect less dust.

  • Fire resistant curtains. Even if your child is not conducting experiments in the room, it is best to make sure that all materials in the nursery are not flammable.

  • Light or bright shades. It is better to install a double cornice so that you can hang two pairs of curtains: thick and translucent. Teenagers often choose more dark shades for curtains, but for kids and schoolchildren, parents choose curtains of more positive colors.

  • Simple and intuitive design or pattern. The choice of design depends on the interests of the child or the gender of the child, although it is not necessary for girls to hang curtains with dolls, and for boys with cars. If your child can already express his views, you should definitely listen to him. Perhaps children dream of curtains with animals, cars and cartoon characters, or maybe not.

There are some pitfalls: the brighter and more memorable the curtains, the faster they become boring for children. An alternative could be curtains with abstract patterns, which will help develop children's imagination.

  • Simple style. Of course, if you wish, you can hang multi-layer curtains, but they are more difficult to care for, and the price is much higher than simple ones. It's best to focus on simple, sleek curtains and uncluttered clips.

  • Compliance with the overall interior. It is very interesting when the curtains are made of the same material as the blanket or upholstery. You can also choose curtains that match the wallpaper (or a couple of shades lighter/darker), or with a similar pattern.

  • Additional terms and conditions. The nursery needs strong curtain rods and brackets so that even in the midst of play, the child cannot destroy the structure of the curtains. In a small children's room, it is better not to use sharp holders, as well as small accessories that can be swallowed. If the child is small, it is better to avoid wicker curtains.

Beautiful interior options

For boy

Universal design for a boy there will be curtains with the following image:

  • cars;
  • motorcycles;
  • western and cowboy style;
  • pirate ships, flags, sailboats;
  • helicopters, airplanes;
  • spaceships;
  • sport.

Naturally, the design of curtains should be chosen in accordance with the tastes of the owner of the room and taking into account existing interior items. Nice curtains and plain fabrics for Roman blinds - for example, green if the room is decorated in a safari style or dark blue for a pirate interior.

You can use a photo print for curtains in children's decor.

Curtain designs can use neutral geometric patterns such as circles, abstract lines, vertical lines, cubes, triangles or stars.

Scottish check, stripe, abstraction or starry sky are suitable motifs for curtains if a teenager lives in the room.

All kinds of shades of denim, khaki, sand tones or coffee colors work well. All textiles in the room should be decorated in approximately the same color.

For girl

Curtains for girls' children's rooms can also be discreet, but they are still softer, more romantic and delicate compared to options for boys.

Of course, the theme of the patterns on the curtains depends on the age of the owner of the room, but a floral theme is suitable for almost every girl.

You can also use girly neutral options: polka dots, plaid, vertical stripes or small hearts.

Of course, the choice of material for curtains and decorations should take into account the child’s age, his lifestyle, color preferences and hobbies. The task of choosing mostly lies with the parents, since the child, due to his age, cannot finalize his preferences and present the final result. But his requirements cannot be ignored - the child will have to live in this room, which means that the design must be made in accordance with his tastes.

The issue of choosing curtains will become even more acute if two children live in the room. Designers recommend choosing curtains for children of different sexes in neutral colors and laconic design with minimal decoration. Such curtains are equally suitable for the girlish and boyish halves of a child's room.

The best curtains for the nursery: interior highlight

The textile design of a children's room should be stylish and original, with easy-to-adjust mechanisms Of course, like any choice, the search for the right curtains can end in the most the right decision- it’s easier to sew them with your own hands, taking into account all the design features of the room, windows, etc. But even if you sew them, what should the curtains be like, what is in fashion now, how should they combine with the interior of the room?

Curtains for a children's room: selection rules

A few simple ones, but important rules will help you navigate your choice.

Rules for selecting curtains:

  • Heavy and dark curtains are not an option. If you need to organize darkening, let it be blinds, but even if the child likes dark colors in a certain combination, they will be a depressing decor. And over time this will definitely manifest itself.
  • Curtains should have a simple design. The main thing is that they can be easily removed, because you will have to do this quite often. However, children can quickly stain curtains, and they will have to be washed often.
  • Expensive curtains are not the best practical solution for children's room. You will literally shake over them, afraid that children will crush them, get them dirty, etc.
  • Nice colour. Even if you really like, for example, cornflower blue, and you have read about the beneficial properties of this color on the child’s psyche, if the child himself does not consider this color cute, do not impose your decision.

The design of curtains in a child's room may partially duplicate the pattern on the wallpaper. Cartoon characters are a win-win option for little ones

Sewing curtains with your own hands is a very smart decision. They can have a simple cut, use natural fabrics. Sometimes for a nursery they choose not floor-length curtains, but short models. Look at the photo of the “cafe” curtains, they will look very cute in a small nursery, and you can sew them with your own hands in one evening, the patterns are simple.

Curtains for a boy's room

Of course, it is important how old the boy is. If the baby is no more than three, then the curtains should be light. If the room is northern, warm shades are more preferable.

In addition, curtains for a nursery for a boy under three years old:

  • They shouldn’t be very colorful, the baby will simply wear them out, and the eyes get tired from such brightness;
  • Curtains should be easy to close/open, the baby is still sleeping during the day, and sometimes simple movement you will need to dim the lights quietly;
  • If you decide to sew it yourself, take simple patterns; the baby will not yet appreciate all the beauty of multi-layer curtains, but he will want to play hide and seek with them.

Calm colors from the blue-green range and simple design so that the little bully doesn’t play with the curtains, making them look less than beautiful

If curtains are needed for an older boy’s room, or curtains for a teenager’s room, it makes sense to make the choice together with him. Perhaps he will like some photo from the gallery, a certain design or fabric, and you can sew these curtains with your own hands.

Blue and white color scheme, sea style- a win-win. If your boy is choleric, the color should not be bright, and the curtains should not be colorful. Cool blue, pastel colors, delicate gray, calm green - these are the best options.

Thread curtains for the nursery: stylish decor

The same girls will definitely like thread curtains. At least offer them this option. Threads are something at the same time oriental, fairy-tale, girlish, and stylish. Such muslin has not gone out of fashion for a long time, and this is understandable - the threads really transform the window.

You can spend hours contemplating three phenomena: how the fire is blazing, the water is splashing and the filament curtains.

You can make such rope curtains with your own hands. By the way, this is very practical option– the threads do not block access to light, but also from prying eyes they will hide it.

Stylish and colorful or variegated and bright thread curtains can be made with your own hands together with a growing child

But these curtains may not be suitable for the room of children under two years old; toddlers are very interested in beautiful threads, and this does not always end with everyone’s joy.

Rope curtains can also be used in a boy’s room. And if you have both a boy and a girl in the same nursery, look for compromises. And these are not only neutral yellow, green, light green. This milky color, caramel, lilac, piercing blue. These are standard checks, stripes, or now fashionable brown curtains with bright circles.

Good luck with your choice!

Design of curtains for a nursery (photo)

This article is for those who want to sew curtains for the nursery with their own hands. You will have to agree in advance that these will be simple, ordinary curtains for a child's room. Using my own example, I will tell you how I sewed curtains for my boys’ room. Look, everything is in order:

A cut was purchased thick fabric with marine print. In order to make curtains from this piece of fabric, you need to measure the height of the wall from floor to ceiling and cut the fabric to size. Of course, let’s not forget to add 1.5-2 centimeters to the curtain hem at the top and bottom.

I already said above that my fabric is thick, the front side has a pattern, and the back is just shiny white.

You understand that it is quite difficult to cut such a piece of fabric on the table, so I decided to carefully lay the fabric on the floor.

Using a large meter ruler, I measured the future curtains and drew a line along which to make a cut to divide the fabric in half: into two curtain strips.

We ended up with two cuts like this. The width of each curtain is 1m 95cm, and the length is 2m 80cm.

When I finished this work, I put these curtains aside and started working on a light tulle curtain. It has the same pattern as the night curtains.

This curtain also had to be measured in length and width, because the fabric was purchased with a reserve. The future curtain turned out to be too wide, so I decided to cut off part of the width and then use these scraps to make a mini-lambrequin.

I also hemmed the tulle curtain at the top and bottom so that the cuts were neatly processed and did not fray. And then she started making the lambrequin. To do this, I sewed the pieces of fabric together and also hemmed the edges on all sides.

Keep in mind that you definitely need to stock up on a special tape that is sewn to the top of the curtain. This tape is called a curtain and helps to attach the curtain to the curtain rod, as well as pleat it beautifully. To do this, there are two thin strands in the curtain tape, which should be slightly tightened so that folds form on the curtain. The tape on the right in the photo is called bias tape. I’ll tell you honestly that this was the first time I used this “invention” and I was convinced of how irreplaceable it is in the design of the edge of any product. It helps to hide small irregularities that may have been made when hemming the edges of the curtains, as well as to give completeness to the item being processed.

I sewed on the curtain tape quickly.

The bias tape was also obedient and lay well on the fabric.

I attached the hooks evenly to the tape: one hook through six loops. And so on for the entire width of the curtains.

Everything was going well, I hoped that I would soon attach the curtains to the curtain rod and get a makeover. And finally, the curtains are in their place!

But not everything turns out the way you want the first time! Alas! The ones I made with my own hands turned out to be too long. And almost 15 centimeters of fabric lies on the floor. In the children's room long curtains, lying on the floor are not only impractical, but also dangerous. Children can step on the edge of the curtain and tear the curtain rod out of the ceiling.

I made a decision a few days later: wash the top curtains! I expected the fabric to shrink. It turned out that no, the fabric remained the same length. I had to cut the bottom of the curtain. It's good that the bottom edge of the curtain was not finished with bias tape. I just cut a piece of curtain and was satisfied. Now the length of the curtains corresponds to the height of the room.

But with the light curtain, I decided to do something differently: since its lower edge was already finished with bias tape, I felt sorry for cutting it off, so I made a fold that is only noticeable up close. Thus, I reduced the length of the thin curtain.

This is how the curtains turned out. The room became more comfortable, the room began to look somehow new. We are already used to doing without curtains and in some cases they even get in the way. For example, when you need to go out onto the balcony. But that is another story!

Of course, I don’t want people to start saying: “primitive” and “squalid”, just try to sew your wonderful curtains with your own hands. It will be great if you enjoy the results of your work. Good luck to everyone in achieving home comfort!

Take a look at the selection of curtains for our boys’ children’s rooms, maybe you’ll take note of something.

The task of choice is the problem of the parents, but it is still worth agreeing on the options with the child if he is over the age of 4 years. At this time, children are already very sensitive and have their own vision of the surrounding space.

Curtains for a girl’s nursery can be either calm and discreet, or cheerful and rainbow-colored. But they should still be softer and more delicate compared to the curtains in the boys’ room.

Frills, lace, flounces and ruffles would be very appropriate here. Canvases and simple lambrequins with light drapery will also decorate well.

When decorating curtains in a girl’s room, you should adhere to the following tips:

  • Choose the theme of the drawings depending on the age of the girl, but flowers and berry-fruit themes are to the liking of all young ladies without exception;
  • Neutral girlish designs are great for young princesses: polka dots, checkered patterns, small hearts, clouds, drops or kind insects.

Decorating a space for a boy: curtains for a children's room

Arranging a children's room is always a big responsibility for parents. The atmosphere in which the child will grow and develop depends on what kind of environment will be present in it, what colors and shades it will be filled with.

It is necessary to start thinking about curtains for a boy’s nursery, starting with early age. It is not always immediately clear how a baby’s nursery should be decorated, but over time, the child’s character and preferences will tell you the ways and directions of the design style.

Try to decorate the room in neutral themes, so that later you can easily reformat the space, because young children are very fickle and often change their interests and passions.

Original ideas for decorating curtains for boys:

  • You can decorate the room in any style, for example, pirate, and depict the curtains in the form of the sea surface or the Cote d'Azur;
  • If your child is interested in cars, then the curtains can represent an entrance gate, or a highway;
  • It is not at all necessary to hang lush long curtains or drapes in a boy’s room; Roman blinds or blinds are perfect for decorating the space near the window and window sill;
  • Beautiful small pictures on the curtains will be appropriate in a baby’s room, but keep in mind that in the future the child may rebel against such a picture;
  • Decor in the form of a spring meadow and morning dew will come at the right time for both boys and girls;
  • Older guys love it when a drawing or photograph of their favorite idol looks at them.

If the window has a door to the balcony, then the curtains should be transparent and lighter, since this design deprives the space of some daylight. Thick curtains will not work here, but photo curtains will be quite appropriate. They provide comfort and give the room a certain mood.

Children's room for a 7-year-old girl: photos of the best interiors

Designers believe that it is more difficult to design rooms for girls than for boys. This most likely happens because little princesses have been very demanding and picky about their environment since childhood. Future and current schoolgirls already have their own formed worldview, which leaves its mark on the interior of the room.

A children's room for a 7-year-old girl is not an easy area. To arrange it correctly, you need to be very attentive to your child.

Choosing curtains or curtains for a baby is much easier than for a capricious little lady. Often, by this time, girls have formed a clear preference for certain flowers, and many will not at all like a pink or yellow curtain in the window area, but will want, for example, a striped curtain or just pure white. Or maybe only a multi-colored surface will suit your little whim.

Ideas for decorating curtains in the room of 7-year-old girls:

  • An alternative to pink in a girl’s room can be an orange or light green curtain;
  • White tulle with butterflies or multi-colored flowers is also perfect for in this case;
  • Lilac or lavender products will harmoniously fit into the interior of a pampered person;

Sewing simple curtains

It will be easiest, of course, to sew simple curtains that are even at the edges, which will subsequently be draped on the cornice; or similar curtains, but with an additional frill at the top or bottom.

Let us dwell in more detail on the description of sewing such curtains.

It is not recommended to use too thick drapery in a children's room, especially if the fabric is thick enough, since such curtains will visually weigh down the window and the entire interior, as well as collect more dust. This should be taken into account when calculating the required amount of fabric even when purchasing it, as well as additionally when cutting if the fabric was purchased with a significant margin.

In order to cut and trim curtains, you will need a large hard surface, usually the floor. Small curtains can, of course, be cut on a table, if its surface area allows it.

Before you start cutting, the fabric needs to be steamed with an iron. Then, if the curtains are plain, you need to determine and mark with an arrow on the wrong side the direction of the fabric pile, because if ready-made curtains will different direction pile, they may appear different in shade. If the fabric has a pattern, then when cutting it is necessary to maintain its symmetry on the curtains.

At the bottom we make an allowance of 10-15 centimeters for the hem, at the top we need an allowance of several centimeters to sew on the braid for the cornice, on the sides we make small allowances (1.5-2 cm).

After cutting, the edges of the curtains without edges should be overcast with an overlock stitch or hemmed with edging tape (trimming) to avoid fraying of the fabric.

The curtains are ready, you can hang them on the curtain rod and enjoy the result with your child.

You can also decorate the curtains with ruffles at the top or bottom. Even if you have the most minimal sewing skills, this is not difficult (cut out the fabric of the required size, trim the edges, gather and stitch in Right place). If the frill is at the bottom, then this should be taken into account when cutting the overall curtain fabric in height (the length of the frill should be subtracted). You can additionally sew fringe onto the frills.

Sewing complex curtains

If you have chosen a more complex version of curtains to make with your own hands, then in this case you need to find suitable curtain patterns for the nursery. In this case, the Internet will help, of course. Enter the phrase “curtain design for children's photos and patterns” into the search engine, and the search will give you a large number of results from which you will surely choose suitable model for your child's nursery.

After making the pattern, you need to place it on the fabric, following the recommendations that can be found in the comments to the pattern, pin it with pins, then trace all the details with chalk or a thin piece of soap. Cut out and then follow the instructions for sewing curtains of this model, which, as a rule, is also described in the comments.

By doing this, you can create even very complex curtain designs yourself.

Curtain decorations

Beautiful curtains for a nursery can be made even from very simple curtains, if you do a little extra work on them and transform them with the help of various decorations. Curtains can be decorated with interesting appliques, attached flowers, butterflies, stars, bows.
