By the way, the loft settled into interiors relatively recently - about 60 years ago, and to this day it is interesting for its variety of design concepts. It is appropriate both in large studios, where the living room is combined with a dining room, and in small rooms. DIY loft-style lamps are a compromise between fashion and style, extravagance and everyday life.

Familiar objects appear before us in a new light - this is a DIY loft lamp. Features include long chains for hanging from the ceiling, non-standard lampshades or compositions from a variety of simple lamps and use.

Making a loft-style lamp from pipes is quite simple, read master class 4 - see for yourself!

Materials and tools

  • 5 large pear-shaped light bulbs;
  • 10 brass (copper) tubes – 5 short and 5 long;
  • fitting according to the diameter of the tubes;
  • 1 longest brass tube – suspension axis (to the ceiling);
  • 5 adjustable brass hinges;
  • 5 ceramic light bulb sockets;
  • two-core connecting wire (so that it passes freely into the copper tubes);
  • electrical cable;
  • insulating tape;
  • screwdriver.

Chandelier manufacturing technology

Step 1

  1. Let's do the wiring. To do this, unscrew the cartridge covers and connect the wires to each of them, as shown in the photo.
  2. We thread wires through tubes, then using hinges we connect the short tubes to the long ones.
  3. Cut off the wire leaving a few centimeters for twisting with the main cable that will be connected to the electrical network on the ceiling.
  4. Screw the edge of the tube into the cartridge.

Step 2.

  • Screwing in the “legs” future chandelier into the fitting and do the wiring again: we twist the white wires with the white core, and the black wires with the black wire, as shown in the photo. We wrap live parts with electrical tape.
  • Carefully fill cable inside the main brass tube, on which the chandelier will be held. We fix it on the ceiling. After everything, we screw in the light bulbs.

The result is an urban chandelier that, with the light of large lamps, combines the simplicity and elegance of an industrial or elevator style.

Master class No. 2: Loft chandelier made of pipes

Following modern trends lighting, you need to take into account the efficiency not only energy saving lamps, but also the chandeliers themselves. For example, from scrap materials - try to make a simple, bright, ergonomic lamp in the loft style made of polymer water pipes, after reading the following master class.

Materials and tools

  1. Ceiling rose;
  2. 12 splitters (lamp sockets);
  3. polymer pipes
  4. 12 small light bulbs;
  5. a can of gold paint (or any other);
  6. paper or newspapers.

Build process

Step 1.

  • First, let's develop a model of the chandelier and connect all the splitters to each other.
  • Only your imagination works here, but you can make a symmetrical chandelier, creating tree structure, i.e. screw in the same number of cartridges (branches) on each side.

Step 2.

  • Spread paper or newspapers to paint the future chandelier.
  • We paint with a spray can on all sides. Leave to dry.

If necessary, after drying you can paint over it with a second layer. We paint the ceiling rosette from the front side.

Step 3.

After everything has dried, you can attach the chandelier to the ceiling. If her appearance suits you, then screw in the light bulbs and enjoy your creation!

Over time, you may want to change it - then you can make a different combination of branches and the chandelier will shine in a new way!

Master class No. 3: Loft table lamp made of pipes

Reliable, easy-to-manufacture table arm in industrial style Suitable for working in the office or at home. It practically “spills” cold or warm water through the pipeline White light, in which it is pleasant to work or engage in your hobby.

Tools and materials

  1. One long nipple;
  2. one short nipple;
  3. 6 pipe squares;
  4. 6 short nipples for connecting elbows;
  5. 3 plumbing tees;
  6. electric drill;
  7. cord with socket and switch;
  8. glue gun (hot glue);
  9. insulating tape.

Manufacturing instructions

Step 1.

  1. First you need to clean all the pipes with white spirit or a special cleaner, if there are stickers, you need to remove them.
  2. During work, the cord with the switch will have to be drag through pipes, so for now we’ll cut out the switch - it will be put in place later.

Step 2.

  • We insert the lamp into the socket and pull the cord through the square.
  • To keep the lamp socket in place, secure it with a glue gun, filling the cavity in the square, as shown in the photo.
  • You need to pour it carefully, not reaching the thread.
  • Let the glue dry.

Step 4.

Let's prepare a hole for the cord on the other side. For this electric drill Let's drill a hole in one of the tees.

First, imagine how the lamp will stand on the table, only then mark the drilling point and drill the part.

Step 5.

  • We assemble threaded pipes using nipples, as shown in the photo.
  • It should look like this: 4 corners, like the base of a table lamp, 3 tees are twisted together, the factory hole is directed upward, and the one made, on the contrary, is downward, with no visible side.
  • Two nipples are connected to each other - this is the lamp holder. As assembly progresses, we pull the cable through the tubes.

Step 6.

We disassemble the switch that was cut out. We take out the old wires and use electrical tape to make a new twist, connecting the ends of the wires to the corresponding channels in the switch. Reassembling the switch.

Step 7

Check how the switch works and whether you are satisfied with the appearance and stability of the lamp. If something is wrong, in such a practical design it can be easily corrected by turning the parts.

A stable, comfortable and completely unexpected DIY designer lamp can safely be called an indispensable companion for your evenings!

You can also make a very stylish table lamp from copper pipes or empty bottles, a master class of these 2 lamps is in the material

Master class No. 4. Industrial style lamp

If you like products with industrial design, if you want to install industrial lamps in your home or garage, watch the following master class and, most likely, you will see what you have been looking for for a long time. Ease of manufacture and urban design.

Tools

  • Lamp with grille;

  • conductive cable;
  • plumbing elbow and tee;
  • 2 metal flanges along the diameter of the cartridge;
  • screws and a screwdriver.

Installation instructions

Step 1.

  1. Remove the grille from the lamp. If it suits your interior, you can leave it. Removing the cartridge.
  2. To the cartridge attach a metal flange as shown in the photo.

Step 2.

We connect the parts of the chandelier sequentially: a flange, a tee to it, then a nipple, an angle, a nipple again, connected to the second flange, all the while pulling the wire through the tubes.

Step 4.

Check the length of the cord from the outlet to the height at which the chandelier will be installed. Until you are satisfied with the height of the switch, do not attach the lamp to the socket.

Vary the cable length until you find optimal length. After this you can do the twisting.

Step 5.

We fix the flange to the wall using screws and a screwdriver, because... The design is not very heavy. It turns out that the wire hangs just from the tee hole.

Plug in and enjoy a small design element in style big city!

Chandeliers in the loft style focus attention with technical solutions, clarity of forms, without excessive solemnity or pomp. This is the style of a big city, spacious living quarters, where there is no luxury, but there should be a lot of light and work, creativity.

What else can loft lamps be made from?

Loft-style chandeliers made from pipes with your own hands deny pomp and chic, but they fit well into home and other interiors thanks to the continuity of modern trends and, of course, the contribution of everyone who makes it.

Reading time: 6 minutes.

Various interior items made from the most unexpected things and even scrap metal are increasingly becoming decorations for residential premises.

Many craftsmen make lamps from water pipes, both plastic and metal, cast iron, turning simple sanitary product into designer items that are unusual in appearance.

Lamp from water pipe

Self-assembly of lamps from pipes

It is very easy to assemble a lamp yourself from the remains of water pipes. This does not depend at all on the material of manufacture. Thinking through appearance and the purpose of this or that lighting device, the style of the room in which it will be located is taken into account. The properties of plastic to yield are taken into account heat treatment, metal plastic pipes bend, and cast iron ones can be folded through adapters and connectors into the most bizarre shapes.

The main thing that attracts creators is cavities that can be easily missed electrical wire. A variety of cartridges will allow you to choose the most suitable size and simply glue the material in the right place.

A lamp made from water pipes is perfect for a loft or country style room. A pattern cut into a PVC pipe large diameter, illuminated from the inside, will decorate even the most sophisticated interior.

Floor lamp made of PVC pipes

Making lamps from plastic pipes with your own hands is a very simple process. The material is easy to cut. It can be bent after heating. At the same time, it is not expensive, does not allow electricity to pass through, and can serve as an additional insulator. But you should also remember that plastic is subject to melting and deformation, so lamps should be chosen that do not heat up.

If you use small-diameter pipes, connectors and tees, you can assemble a structure of any configuration simply by inventing suitable design and adding the components according to the type of constructor. For example, a tall floor product folded through tees with curved top lines looks very impressive. Such a lamp can have 4 legs or a wooden round base. The number of installed lamps depends solely on the wishes of the creator.

Can decorate an artsy living room floor lamp from a large diameter pipe in which patterns are cut out. By heating its individual parts with a hair dryer, you can bend the material and make the design three-dimensional. By cutting off some areas, you can make them more transparent. If desired, paint the surface in any color. All that remains is to fix the light source inside, put everything on PVC or wooden base and connect the electricity.

Compound individual elements reinforced with an adhesive layer, having previously passed a cable of maximum length inside.

For the dacha

Manufacturing decorative items from old cast iron pipes very popular for use in the country. These can be stylish sconces with large shades or a loft-style chandelier, assembled in the form of fancy curving lines with several lamps at the ends.

Appropriate homemade lamps and as street lighting, installed on wooden posts and the facade of the building. The main thing to remember is that any metal conducts electricity, so care should be taken to ensure reliable cable insulation.

For the playground

Homemade lamps made from pipes are perfect for children's playgrounds. They can be assembled into a fence by inserting lamps inside areas with a large diameter. This design will reliably protect the light source from mechanical damage, and hidden cables will completely eliminate the possibility of injury from exposure to electricity.

Having secured the pipe around the perimeter of individual entertainment areas, drilled holes in it throughout the entire area and inserted it inside LED strip, you can turn the most banal site into a fairy-tale world.

Wall lamp made of flexible metal-plastic

Metal-plastic pipes have one significant advantage over PVC products- they bend. A light source with such a housing can be turned in any direction without worrying that movement will lead to breakage.

For assembly you will need a piece of wood or thick plywood. A base is made from it, which is attached to the wall. In addition, you should prepare the pipe the right size, suitable cartridge, cable, electrical tape.

Installation instructions

First, you need to draw the design of the future product, which will show how to make the main components. To work you will need a drill, a jigsaw, stationery knife and several self-tapping screws.

A piece of any shape is cut out of a piece of wood or thick plywood. A hole of the appropriate diameter is drilled in the place where the pipe is supposed to be attached.

For full operation, a pipe of 20-50 cm (more is possible) is suitable. It is inserted into the hole in the base. An electrical cable is then threaded through the pipe. The cartridge must be secured on the reverse moving side. If necessary, you can use additional plumbing fittings.

When the wall lamp is out flexible metal-plastic will be completely assembled, screw it to the wall with dowels or self-tapping screws, install the LED element and put it into operation.

LED night light made of plastic pipe

If cast iron products are more suitable for making loft-style lamps, then delicate white plastic It is best used to create night lights that will fit into any interior. They are decorated with openwork designs of any stylistic orientation, ranging from exquisite floristry to images of fairy-tale characters.

Manufacturing instructions

Making a plastic lampshade is very simple. To do this, you will need a wooden or metal base with a built-in chuck, a piece of PVC pipe with a diameter of at least 15 cm and a length of 20-30 cm, a drill with a set of drills, and a stationery knife.

To begin with, the edges of the future lampshade are sanded and a design is applied. Then holes are drilled along the marked lines. different sizes. Oblong lines are cut with a knife. If you want to make the image more realistic, you can cut off some areas of the surface, making them thinner, to enlarge throughput. You can change the shape and bends of some areas by heating them with a hair dryer and bending them.

After the pattern is worked out, the lampshade is attached to the base and the light bulb is screwed in. Now the entire structure is assembled and can be connected to electricity. If desired, the lampshade can be painted.

Chandelier manufacturing technology

Many may think that when using pipes and plumbing components, a chandelier will look rustic and even clumsy, but this is not so. At the right approach and careful execution they create a work of art even from such simple materials.

Build process

To make it you will need pieces metal-plastic pipes, splitters, ceiling socket, sockets.

To begin with, they think about the design of the future product and the number of lamps that will be installed. In the center of the entire structure there will be a splitter to which the pipes are connected and bent into the required form. Wires are passed through the resulting workpiece. Since the cord will pass through several end points, it is recommended to run parallel lines into each separate branch, connecting them only under the ceiling rosette, excluding breaks inside the chandelier.

Chucks are attached to each pipe at the ends, having previously connected them to the cable. Through a small piece, connect the socket to the splitter. Then the electricity is connected.

The finished product is painted and equipped with lampshades. The main thing is that the result pleases the inhabitants of the house.

One day Brynne Delerson saw the lamp of her dreams and lost her appetite and sleep.

Then she decided that she could make it herself. She carried this idea in her head for several months, carefully drew up diagrams and gained courage.

Several times, she convinced herself that she was fearless, but her creative side was always outweighed by perfectionism. She was frightened by the process itself, the tools, as well as the lack of skills needed to turn the idea into reality, so she thought, wrote down and shelved the project. She didn’t want to dive headfirst and hope for the best; she had a goal: to work through all the scenarios to avoid the zombie apocalypse.

And the project of the century was waiting in the wings. Then one fine day, the girl felt unusually brave and decided to take part in a competition to make lamps with her own hands. About 300 people took part in this competition and only 12 projects were selected. This project, unfortunately, was not selected. And Brynne shed a lot of tears about this. For this project you will need:

  1. Pendant lamp from Ikea called Photo.
  2. Copper pipes
  3. Protractor, ruler, tape measure
  4. Pipe cutter
  5. Copper wire

Step 1: Math. The heroine of our story drew a circle, divided it into 5 parts using a protractor, each section 72 degrees. By simple calculations, the size of each pipe was obtained to be 19 cm.

Step 2: Spray paint the lampshade. We were lucky, Russian IKEA sells black lamps, so we skip this step.

Step 3: Cut the pipe

We mark the cutting location using a tape measure, 7.5 inches or 19 cm.

Let's cut it off.

Step 4. Clean the pipe. After all 30 tubes were cut, we took steel wool and polished them, polishing took 15 minutes.

Step 5: Assembly. We start it with a triangle, when you run out of wire, you need to fasten the new wire to the old one so that the connection is inside the pipe. Don’t forget to immediately secure the wire from the lamp with wire at one of the points.

You can see how to assemble an icosahedron here:

Step 6: Hanging the Lamp

As an afterword: I really liked the idea of making an icosahedron lamp from copper pipes. But instead of the Photo lampshade, I would screw an Edison lamp inside the icosahedron. Look how beautiful they are. Then there would be beautiful shadows on the wall; the lampshade prevents the light from scattering.

It might look something like this:

Master Class: hanging lamp icosahedron made of copper pipes was last modified: March 4th, 2017 by Elena Lakeeva

For a true jack of all trades, leftover building material is a real treasure. From piles of rubbish he is able to create masterpieces suitable for interior decoration and useful for everyday use. Remnants of plastic plumbing fittings, plugs, and metal fasteners are enough to create a beautiful and functional pipe lamp that can be hung on the wall or used instead of a table lamp.

If ready product seems simple to you, you can complicate its design by adding metal parts - pipes, bolts, nuts, legs from fittings

Self-assembly of lamps from pipes

Construct a product from sections of pipeline, metal and plastic parts even people who don’t know the basics of plumbing can do it, and it won’t be difficult for specialists involved in laying communications every day to come up with their own, unique, interesting options. The suggested instructions are just examples of how quickly and easily unnecessary materials can be turned into useful things.

A plumber's dream - a lamp made from a water pipe

For the installation of household communications, polypropylene is increasingly used - durable, flexible, reliable material, not susceptible to rust, performing its functions for decades. Systems are installed instead of outdated ones metal pipes wires that are dismantled and thrown into a landfill. Let's take a few used iron parts and make a simple, convenient lighting device from them.

We will need:

  • 1 pipe of arbitrary length;
  • 2 flanges for stands;
  • cross as a connecting element;
  • 2 knees;
  • electrical cord with switch;
  • lamp (energy saving or LED);
  • cartridge, coupling for fixation.

If the base diameter is 20 mm, then the remaining parts have the same cross-section.

Strictly technical, rugged lamps and cozy home floor lamps - all made from ordinary water pipes

The assembly process is simple. We connect the elbows and flanges with the cross - the stand is ready. We insert the pipe from above, then screw the coupling. We thread the wires, be sure to make insulation, since metal conducts current, screw in the light bulb. A few simple manipulations - and original lamp made from water pipes!

To give old parts an aesthetically pleasing attractive appearance, we clean all the elements with fine sandpaper and coat them with metal paint.

Wall lamp made of flexible metal-plastic

For wall version a more dynamic tubular LED light that can be aimed at different sides, and this is where metal-plastic products come in handy. Unlike plastic parts, they are durable, have elasticity, in other words, they bend.

Ability to bend and accept different shape will help make the lamp unique

For convenience, it is better to make the base, which is mounted on the wall, from a piece of wood - solid pine, birch blank, or a piece of thick plywood. We drill a hole in it for the flexible element. We grind out a body for the cartridge from a small block, taking into account that a movable fragment will be attached to the other side.

Ready Wall Light made from pipes - excellent lighting for paintings or photographs

All that remains is to complete the assembly. We insert an electrical wire, previously threaded through the base, into a metal-plastic blank (from 20 to 50 cm long), fix the cartridge and make insulation. We fix the base on the wall, screw in the LED element and enjoy the resulting effect. It remains to add that flexible tube for a lamp, you can turn it in any direction, and if desired, even tie it in a knot, if the length allows.

The cost of metal-plastic products of medium diameter is low - from 60 to 100 rubles per linear meter

Video: LED lamp made of plastic pipe

Three-arm horizontal illumination

Convenient lamp consisting of several movable copper tubes on a metal base can create full-fledged lighting for small room or lighting for paintings, photographs, collages or shelves with souvenirs.

To work, you will need pieces of metal pipes of the same diameter, copper bendable tubes for making horns, several tees (according to the number of horns), a half-flange (for fixing the lamp on the wall or ceiling), plugs, electrical wire and fasteners. You will also need lamps - it is better to take LED lamps that do not heat the surrounding parts and the illuminated surface.

The tools necessary for assembly are found in every home:

  • jigsaw or hacksaw for metal;
  • pliers;
  • screwdriver;
  • drill and thin drills;
  • insulating material;
  • metal paint, brush.

First you need to prepare the copper tubes, then screw the base and finally assemble everything into a single structure. We make horns for lamps from copper blanks 30-40 cm long. To do this, they need to be carefully bent so that they take the form of a smooth arc. Beware of creases, as corners on the tubes will spoil the appearance of the structure and will prevent the passage of the electrical wire. Twist the ends compression fittings, thread the wires, secure and insulate the cartridges.

We clean the metal pieces, paint them, and after drying, we twist them into a long pole. We attach copper horns to it at regular intervals, not forgetting about a safe connection electrical wires. We fix the hand-assembled pipe lamp on the wall or ceiling so that the rays illuminate required area, screw in the bulbs and check. The design in a trendy industrial style is ready.

LED night light made of plastic pipe

Plastic is easy to process, so there are a lot of possibilities for decorating lampshades and shades made from this pliable material. Openwork lamps made of plastic and polypropylene pipes installed on the floor, on a table, used as a table lamp, night light.

Beautiful designer lamp from plastic elements and colorful light bulbs

We stock up on plastic blanks and get to work. The best option– products with a diameter of at least 15 cm, so that the walls of the finished lampshade do not come into contact with the lamp, even if it is LED. The tools you will need are a drill with various attachments, drills, a stationery knife, construction hair dryer.

Operating procedure:

  • We prepare the base - a heavy stand with a fixed cartridge, and connect the electrical wire. Will do wooden block or a structure made of several parts.
  • From a thick PVC pipe, cut out a section 20-30 cm in height, process the edges - this is the future lampshade.
  • On plastic surface we apply the image using a stencil - an ornament, a drawing, a pattern.
  • Using a drill, knife, or scalpel, we cut out the excess parts, making cuts, slices, and through holes. We leave some parts translucent, reducing the thickness of the material. Heat with a hairdryer to bend or deform necessary elements.
  • Place the lampshade on the base and turn on the lamp.

White, not suitable for a bedroom or living room, the color of the plastic can be changed to a more bright shade, painting the surface of the lampshade with special acrylic paints. Ready-made lamps made from PVC pipes look simply magical.

To connect elements we use threads, bolts and nuts

Let's take an example from designers

The use of old unnecessary things to create unique interior items has long been of interest to designers, engineers, and self-taught craftsmen. Metal and plastic pipes turned out to be comfortable material for creating various lamps, chandeliers, table lamps, floor lamps, sconces. Some of them look modern and are suitable for decorating offices and high-tech rooms, while others, elegant and stylish, are appropriate for an interior in the Art Nouveau style.

Artfully carved flowers and butterflies transform a plastic pipe into amazing decor

It is curious that magnificent designer items that cost a lot of money are assembled from the most ordinary building materials, which means that each of you, if desired, can create your own unique masterpiece, which is not inferior to well-known analogues either in appearance or in functionality.

Copyright lighting are sold at incredible prices. In fact, making a lamp from pipes yourself is not a problem at all. No purchase required expensive materials or advanced knowledge of electrical engineering. Let's consider several homemade options lighting elements from scraps of various pipes.

Desk lamp

An original lamp made of pipes will add some zest. The structure can be assembled from scraps available on the farm or purchased material at a hardware store. After purchasing all the materials, it will take no more than an hour to assemble the lamp.

Among the required components:

  • Long and short nipple.
  • Six pipe squares.
  • There are the same number of small nipples that serve as corner clamps.
  • Three purposes.
  • Drill.
  • Wire with switch and plug.
  • Insulating tape.
  • Hot glue.

First, all pipes are treated with solvent, and the stickers are removed. The light element is inserted into the socket, after which the wire is pulled through the square. The light bulb socket is fixed with glue. The structure is processed carefully so as not to affect the threads, after which it is left until the adhesive composition dries.

Main stages of work

Subsequent assembly of the lamp from pipes is carried out in the following sequence:

  • A hole is prepared in the tee for the wire with reverse side using an electric drill.
  • Pipes are assembled along threads using nipples.
  • 4 corners are taken as the base, three tees are twisted together, the standard hole is directed upward, and the homemade socket is directed to the lower invisible part.
  • Two nipples connected to each other will serve as a holder.
  • The cable is pulled through pipes without a switch.
  • The switch is assembled and connected.
  • The functionality of the assembly made from pipes is checked.

This design is easy to fix if you are not satisfied with the resulting design. The result will be an excellent and inexpensive night light or work light. desk lamp.

Wall option

The pipe lamp, the photo of which is shown above, is made as follows:

  • The grille is removed from the old street-type lamp. If it fits into the interior, this is not necessary.
  • A pipeline flange is attached to the cartridge, which will serve as a base fixed to the wall.
  • Then it is connected to a tee, nipple and angle. Another flange is attached, then the wiring is pulled through the pipes.
  • The height of the lamp placement is adjustable.
  • The lamp is connected to the socket and the switch is mounted.
  • The flange is attached to the wall using screws, and the operation of the device is checked.

The operation will require the following materials:

  • Lamp with or without grille.
  • A pair of black nipples for plumbing purposes.
  • Cable.
  • Two metal flanges, the diameter of which matches the size of the cartridge.
  • Screwdriver and fixing screws.

Loft lamps made of pipes with a concrete base

The lampshade is made from several wooden embroidery hoops and watercolor paper. The whole process is divided into mold preparation, manufacturing concrete base, connecting wiring, assembling and fixing pipes, as well as arranging a lampshade. The container for pouring can be made of plastic; its dimensions must be sufficient to support the weight of the entire structure.

Initial stages:

  1. Using a knife, make a hole for the cable.
  2. The reinforcement wire is placed in a container.
  3. The cord is threaded through the pipes with the necessary margin.
  4. Marking tape is used to mark the exit of wires from the solution.

The cord must fit into cement mixture at the point of connection to the switch, then fed through the middle part of the pipe flange, in which a hole is provided.

Final part

Further production of a lamp from water pipes is divided into several stages:

  • Done cement mortar, which is poured into the prepared form.
  • The switch is fixed flush with the surface. Be careful not to let it drown in the mixture.
  • Mount the flange on top of the solution, thread four mounting screws through the holes.
  • After preparing the base, the wires are threaded through the pipes, attaching them to the flange.
  • Next, the free edge of the cables is pulled to the cartridge, after which the latter is attached inside the pipe.
  • The light bulb is screwed in, the switch is connected and turned over.
  • A lamp with a low power rating can be left open.
  • For a powerful light element you will need to build a lampshade. To do this, take two hoops and watercolor paper, and treat the seam with wood glue.
  • This design allows you to choose any color and fabric covering used.
  • The finished lampshade is attached using small screws that are screwed into the inside of the hoop from above, or thin wire, mounted on an additional pipe flange.

LED lamp

PVC pipe is optimal for this device. It is worth noting that this option is equipped with autonomous power supply. The design of the lamp is as simple as possible; anyone can assemble it with a minimum of tools and materials. Several pieces of pipe will be required bigger size for the base, including angles and fittings, as well as a smaller diameter PVC pipe for the stand. The system uses a resistor with a power of at least 1 watt. This indicator is designed for 6 LEDs.

The circuit is connected in a standard way. It is recommended to use type. This will allow you to quickly make a nest for it in the pipe and will not require cutting additional elements in the form of a rectangle under the slide switch. In addition, the switch should not be instantaneous, otherwise you will have to constantly hold the button to operate the device. Lamp from PVC pipes equipped with a lampshade. Its painting is carried out in several layers. Otherwise, when the diodes are turned on, streaks or uneven processing will be visible. Battery suitable container mounted at a distance of 80 millimeters from the edge of the pipe at the base. You can also install a switch there. The main thing is that these details do not interfere with each other.

Loft chandelier made of pipes

Modern trends in lighting organization often require taking into account not only the efficiency of lamp elements, but also the chandeliers themselves. You can create them yourself from scrap materials, while getting an original and inexpensive design. For example, it is possible to do ceiling lamp from plastic pipes. To do this you will need the following components:

  • Ceiling type socket.
  • 12 branches for sockets and light bulbs.
  • Polymer water pipes.
  • 12 small lamps.
  • A can of special paint.
  • Paper.
  • Ceiling rosette.

The work begins with developing a model of the chandelier and connecting the branches to each other. You can create both a symmetrical design and an original author’s model (it all depends on your imagination). Next, lay out the paper on which the painting process will take place. Paint on all sides and leave the lamp to dry. The ceiling rosette is painted on the visible side. If necessary, the chandelier can be sprayed again. Then all that remains is to connect the structure to the ceiling using screws and a flange, and also screw in the lamps. Check the design and enjoy a unique product. By the way, if you get tired of the configuration of the lamp, it can be transformed into a different style in a few minutes.

Adjustable Table Lamp: Initial Manufacturing Process

This DIY pipe lamp is distinguished by the fact that it can be adjusted in reach and height. Many replacement parts are available to find at home, so it is also economical and also custom.

Materials used:

  • Bicycle star.
  • A pair of metal pipes with a half-inch thread (length - 450 mm).
  • Flange.
  • Fitting.
  • Two elbows at 45 and 90 degrees.
  • Two ¾ copper tubes.
  • Socket.
  • Polymer bushing.
  • Electrical cable.

The bicycle sprocket will serve as the base. Holes for the flange are drilled in its center, after which it is painted. Then it is screwed into the flange iron pipe. The upper part of the element is attached to the base of the lamp, and the second part with a larger diameter is installed in such a way that a sliding effect appears. This will allow the upper part of the structure to be folded down by moving the top tube.

Final part

To fix the pipe, a hole is drilled in the lower compartment for the fixing screw. A pipe with a diameter of ¾ is soldered, which will allow for alignment and also obtain original look. As a stopper, you can use a ¼ bolt, which is attached to the outer handle of the faucet. The lampshade can be made using one of the methods described above, attaching it with screws and painting it with copper or gold paint.

The rubber bushing is mounted in reverse end fitting, after which the end of the wire is cut off and pulled inside the pipe to the cartridge. The lamp is screwed into the socket, around which the casing is clamped. A similar lamp made from water pipes will make it possible to provide required quantity light at different conditions. At the same time, its cost is minimal.
