The Moscow Financial and Legal Academy has developed a special portal for students, applicants, their parents, teachers, and employees for prompt interaction and obtaining up-to-date information. The MFLA portal provides the opportunity to create a personal account.

Functionality of the MFLA personal account

Personal account users receive the following features:

  • Ensuring interaction between students, applicants, parents and university staff, dean’s office, and teachers.
  • Keep abreast of news, changes and current events held at the university.
  • Monitor changes in the class schedule.
  • Make payments for education: print receipts, pay bills, control debt.
  • Ensuring control over student progress: viewing grades, monitoring debts.
  • Submitting applications for certificates and documents.
  • Receiving advice from teachers.
  • Participation in the survey.
  • Evaluation of the work of methodologists.

Students writing their dissertations are additionally given the opportunity to view reviews from the thesis project supervisor and submit their work for anti-plagiarism checking.

Parents can inquire about the student's attendance and academic progress.

User registration

Before registering, the user must provide a mobile phone number to the dean's office or department.

An authorized person registers the number in the system and the user is given a password to enter the portal.

Registration of a personal account is carried out from the main page of the site. In the upper right corner there is a “Personal Account” button. By clicking on it, the user is taken to the login page.

The student ID number is entered in the INS field (teachers enter the password received at the department).

After entering the password, click “Login”.

If you have lost your password, you can change it by pressing the “Remind Password” button.

Academy employees enter the account number of their work computer.

Portal desktop

The student portal desktop has the following sections:

  • Group - number and details of the methodologist.
  • The balance in the account is the paid amount.
  • Applications.
  • Academic performance is the result of the last exam (test).
  • News.
  • Ads.

For detailed information, you can go to each section.

When you first log into the portal, you need to set up a profile. This is done by clicking the button located in the upper right corner.

In the settings you can change the password, upload a photo, additional personal information (phone number). A photo may be required for a pass, library card, or student card.

In the “My Group” section, the user can correspond with classmates, the moderator, and work with the library. It is possible to create folders, upload files, etc.

Payment for tuition through the MFLA personal account

You can find out about debt for education and other paid services, receive a receipt, and pay online from your personal account in the “Finance” section.

The main training agreement checks the account balance, requests a receipt or makes an online payment. In additional services, payment history, debt as of the current date are checked, and additional services are paid for.

The debt is displayed on the screen with a minus sign in the Debt column.

The fact of payment is reflected in the system a few days after payment.

Checking the schedule

Schedule, current changes are contained in the “Schedule” tab.

To view the schedule, you must enter the following information:

  • Learning Campus.
  • Form of training.
  • Schedule type.
  • Group.

The reference information contains the call schedule and weekly schedule.

Progress control

The student's progress is checked in the "Progress" section. Information about all passed tests, exams, and coursework is available here. The data is distributed by semester, discipline, delivery date, and results obtained.

The report is generated in the form of a table in chronological order.

The same section displays data on academic debt with the name of the disciplines and the fact of retake.

Document request

If there is a need to issue a duplicate student card, grade book, obtain a certificate of study at the Academy, or if questions arise related to the educational process, the user can leave a request in the “Application” section.

To do this, press the “Create a new request” button:

Enter the title, message text, and applicant data. If necessary, scans of documents are attached.

After creating an application, it will receive the status “Application created”, the system will automatically redirect it to the responsible person and after completion the application status will change to “Completed”.

You can print the prepared document from the website; the original is provided at the Dean’s Office.

After receiving the original documents in hand, the user changes the application status to “Closed”.

Additional features of your personal account

Personal account users can additionally:

  • receive information from the electronic library in the “Educational” section, link “Electronic Library” - University Library online;
  • get acquainted with the educational materials in the “Educational” section, link “MOODLE LMS”. Here you can receive online consultations from teachers, get acquainted with lectures, study literature in your specialty;
  • study the rules of routine and training in the “Rules and Responsibilities” section.

To get started, we need to log into the student’s personal account, for which we enter the username and password and get to the main page of the educational platform (Fig. 2).


In the center of the work field we can see various news, for example, regarding graduates, coursework, schedules, and so on.

On the right side of the working field we can see such a section as a calendar; past and upcoming events for various months will be placed here. Just above you can see the main menu: News, electronic library IPRBooks, student assistance - instructions for using this educational platform, instructions for logging in through social networks, contact information for the correspondence learning institute - operating hours, working days, contact information, email address, various information for graduates.

The home page (Fig. 3) contains information about the student, email address, presence of messages, information about the course, grades for disciplines.


As an example of a discipline, let’s take “methods of optimal solutions” (Fig. 4), the first thing we see is a “news forum.


Next comes a short vision for the study of this discipline and the lecture material itself, which consists of 10 topics. We can download each of the themes. For each discipline, control measures are provided (Fig. 5), in this case testing, for example, the final test for the course.

Registration and login to your personal account

Before registering your MFLA personal account, a teacher or student must provide their mobile number to the dean’s office, only then will it be registered. Students report the number to the dean's office, and teachers pass it on to a department specialist. Those employees of the establishment who have a personal work computer are automatically already registered on the portal. Parents can request the necessary information on the site without authorization by going to the site to leave a request.

After the student provides his mobile number and it is entered into the database, a message with a password will be sent to the number. Then you can go to the site and register. On the main menu screen on the right side there will be a “Personal Account” button; after clicking it, you will be taken to the login page for your MFLA personal account.

  1. First, the status of the registered person is selected: applicant, student, teacher or employee;
  2. the login code for students will be their student code, and for teachers the character set received at the department; employees enter the number of their personal computer;
  3. after which you need to select the correct domain for your email;
  4. confirmation of actions - clicking “Login”.

After registration, a window opens with many sections. For all users, the portal interface is the same and easy to use; for university employees it is slightly different, with more advanced functionality.

All interfaces have a link where you can remember your password. To restore it, you will need to indicate the INS and send a request for its reminder. It will be sent along with the registered nickname to the applicant’s mobile phone.

If you change your mobile phone, you must inform the university specialists in advance; in this case, teachers contact the department, and students contact the dean’s office.

Parents can monitor their child’s progress remotely. All sections are located in the menu located on the left side of the portal on the main screen; they are made in the form of a list for ease of navigation.

Personal account features

After registering your personal MFLA account, you can enjoy various privileges:

  1. Use online necessary educational materials.
  2. Clarify the training rules of this university upon admission and during training.
  3. Check the schedule, which is located behind the tab of the same name. To clarify it, you need to enter the following data: indicate the form of study, the number of the educational building, the group and the type of schedule. It will pop up on the screen in the form of a table in which you can find the schedule of calls and lessons by week. All data can be downloaded.
  4. Receive alerts with various university changes and find out news.
  5. Receive comments from your supervisor on completed work.
  6. Pay for tuition at this university. In the “Finance” section, you can check your balance, request a receipt for payment, and find all information about the debt, which will be displayed in the “Debt” tab. Among additional services, payment history is often checked and payment for additional services is made. The actual confirmation of the payment made will not be displayed immediately, it will appear after a few days.
  7. Students will be able to see all their received grades and improve their shortcomings in a timely manner. They can be seen in the “Progress” section, where you can also check all completed coursework, tests and exams. They are divided by disciplines, results, due dates and semesters.
  8. Submit various electronic applications.
  9. Chat with teachers online.
  10. Exchange information with classmates in the “My Group” section, where you can also work with the library (read, download the necessary files, create your own folders and much more), and also ask questions to the moderator.
  11. Participate in surveys that can be conducted based on educational moments from the university.
  12. Request documents. In the “Requests” section, you should leave a message to restore a lost or worn-out student card, as well as a student record book, or request a certificate of study at the Academy.
