Pc gaming show e3 what they showed. Announcement of a new game from Max Payne developers from Remedy

On the site, especially for you, we will conduct text broadcasts in Russian so that you don’t miss anything.

For most gamers, E3 is one of the most important events of the year, right up there with New Year's and birthdays. Of course, not every video game lover can afford to travel to Los Angeles to see all the cool stuff in person (but everyone dreams, that's for sure!). Fortunately, in the age of the Internet, you can learn a lot without getting up from your chair.

All conferences and events are broadcast online, so millions of gamers around the world can watch what is happening online. That's great, but there's something else worth knowing: unfortunately, all official Electronic Entertainment Expo broadcasts are on English language. This may be inconvenient for those who speak in the great and mighty!

But with the site, everything is possible: our professional team will broadcast live broadcasts of all conferences online, without exception. Everything that happens will be carefully recorded and translated by our authors via text chat, so that site visitors will be able to understand what is being discussed at each specific moment of a particular conference.

News, official website and participants of E3 2018

This is a detailed description of the event itself in case someone suddenly doesn’t know what the Electronic Entertainment Expo event is, and the date of the event in 2018, and the full schedule of conferences of large companies (Microsoft, Electronic Arts, Bethesda, Sony , Ubisoft and others), as well as a list of confirmed and expected games.

In addition to this information, further in the text you can find links to all the most interesting materials related to E3 2018: the official website of the event, a selection of news from our authors, broadcasts of all conferences without exception and, subsequently, final articles with analysis of each individual conference. The article is updated as new information becomes available!

What is E3?

Electronic Entertainment Expo (electronic entertainment exhibition) or E3 is traditionally the largest annual event dedicated to video games and related products (consoles, components, etc.). It so happens that it takes place in mid-June in the American city of Los Angeles, where tens of thousands of people come to learn everything about new games.

People go to E3 for a reason; this is where the biggest announcements are most often made; this is where the largest companies in the gaming industry come to hold their own conferences and demonstrate their most ambitious projects. Of course, the press is not far behind, because there is so much news at E3 that you can write and write and write about it.

E3 2018 also did not depart from the established tradition: the action will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center for the 9th time. The pavilion will be able to accommodate approximately 15 thousand visitors, but in reality there will be much more of them, because the exhibition will take place over 3 days, constantly seeing off some gamers and meeting others.

Date of E3 2018

For many years in a row, the E3 exhibition has been held for three days in a row. In each of them, the doors of the exhibition pavilion are open for 8-10 hours. At the same time, the content may change, because many stands are set up for a limited time in order to give the opportunity for several companies and studios to hold presentations at once.

This year will mark the 24th Electronic Entertainment Expo. Date: June 12-14; in Russia, due to time zone differences, part of the schedule falls on June 15. However, in fact, you will have to follow the news from E3 in advance, because publisher Electronic Arts will again be at the “warm-up” with its annual EA Play conference, which begins on June 9 at 21:00 Moscow time.

What's on the minds of the most hardcore gamers about this upcoming event? Of course, this is conference time. They take place as part of E3, but are organized directly by large companies that rent part of the exhibition center premises to give their fans the opportunity to learn all the important news first-hand.

This year, Electronic Arts, Microsoft, Bethesda, Ubisoft and Sony will hold their conferences at the Electronic Entertainment Expo. Also within the framework of the exhibition there will be a PC Gaming Show - this is also a kind of conference, but without a single organizer. It is dedicated to exclusive PC games, new components and PC gaming in general.

Conference schedule E3 2017

Electronic Arts Conference at E3 2018 (EA Play)

For several years in a row, publisher EA has held its pre-E3 event near the convention center. Moreover, representatives of the publishers call all this EA Play, and not just another conference. As you might guess, the main feature of the event is the opportunity for visitors to personally try out the company’s newest games.

What to expect from a famous publisher this year? In principle, everything is as always. Firstly, Electronic Arts will probably show new parts of all its sports lines: FIFA, Madden, NHL, NBA Live and others. Secondly, you should definitely expect news on already announced projects from studios owned by EA. Thirdly, of course, new announcements!

For example, the publisher confirmed that a new build will be officially announced and brought to EA Play, the teaser of which appeared online on June 1. You can also expect news about the next part of the racing franchise Need for Speed.

Shortly before EA Play, there was a leak, according to which the game Unravel 2 received an age rating from the ESRB office. Based on all this information, we can make a list of games that will most likely be seen at the Electronic Arts event:

  • FIFA 19;
  • Madden NFL 19;
  • NBA Live 19;
  • NHL 19;
  • Anthem;
  • Battlefield 5;
  • Unravel 2.

Devolver Digital Conference at E3 2018

If last year Devolver Digital held its conference closer to the E3 finale, then this year it is in the forefront. However, eccentricity and marginality will remain in place, because in mid-May a post appeared on Devolver’s official Twitter account in which representatives of the publisher apologize in advance.

The official name of the conference is Big Fancy Press Conference. Both new games, the list of which is not specified, and “technical innovations from Devolver Labs” are announced. Last year, one of them was Screen Pay - an early access system for a game that requires users to throw money into the monitor and wait for the game to come out.

The conference will take place for 5 hours - from 6:00 to 11:00 Moscow time. Devolver Digital employees provide neither the content nor even an approximate list of games.

Microsoft Conference at E3 2018

Last year, Mikey shone with press releases for the revolutionary Project Scorpio console and promised that there would be many exclusives for it and the Windows 10 operating system. This year the quality bar cannot be lowered, but most likely the main emphasis will be on games rather than technical innovations.

However, life cycle Xbox One is already nearing completion, so console enthusiasts can expect hints or even teasers of the next generation console. As practice has shown, exclusives mean a lot, so it’s time for Microsoft to uncover all the most “powerful” things it has in its arsenal. So what to expect at E3 2018?

Separately, it is worth mentioning the mysterious Avengers Project. This game is being created jointly by Crystal Dynamics, Eidos Montreal and Marvel, and, as you might guess, is dedicated to the film “Avengers: Infinity War”. And adding intrigue to the entire conference is the fact that shortly before the announcement, Square Enix registered a new trademark - Outriders. It is quite possible that it will also be shown at E3.

Expected games:

  • Shadow of the Tomb Raider;
  • Kingdom Hearts 3;
  • Final Fantasy VII Remake;
  • Re-release of Hitman 2: Silent Assassin;
  • Avengers Project;
  • Outriders.

Ubisoft conference at E3 2018

  • Results of the Ubisoft conference.

The French company announced its intention to hold its own conference at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2018 in mid-April. It’s interesting that this time Ubisoft didn’t have enough vaults in the exhibition pavilion, so the event will be held in the Orpheum Theater building. There, as many remember, Sony also held its conference in 2017.

Company representatives did not share the list of games that will be shown. And this is understandable: who reveals all the cards in advance?

However, an experienced gamer who follows the news on the gaming portal site can easily name at least 3 games that will almost certainly be brought to E3 2018: , and, of course, . There is one more indirect evidence about the latter: it appeared in Walmart in early May.

The first of these games was announced in early March, showing only the logo, and the second was first demonstrated at E3 2017. The third, a real pearl of game development Beyond Good & Evil 2, will probably get the first gameplay footage. In addition, Ubisoft will probably lift the veil of secrecy on add-ons for and a multiplayer game about pirates.

A separate topic is the new Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, which first became the subject of rumors, and then was officially announced on June 1. The developers promise to hold a full presentation of the game just at E3 2018, so we're waiting detailed analysis game mechanics and representatives of Greek mythology.

The French publisher does not forget about the already released titles. Games like this need constant replenishment with new content. And now we can almost certainly say that Ubisoft will not miss the opportunity to talk about further support for these two games.

And, of course, one cannot ignore another leak from the American retail chain Wallmart, which includes another famous brand Ubisoft - Splinter Cell. If a new part about the adventures of Sam Fisher really exists, then it may well be shown at a conference of a French publisher.

Expected games:

  • Tom Clancy's The Division 2;
  • The Crew 2;
  • Beyond Good & Evil 2;
  • Skull & Bones;
  • Assassin's Creed: Odyssey;
  • Far Cry 5 DLC;
  • For Honor;
  • Splinter Cell.

Sony conference at E3 2018

Traditionally, the event from this Japanese publisher takes place towards the end of E3, and this year is no exception. In the last 2 years, Sony's performances have been particularly successful both in terms of organization and the roster of video games exclusive to the PlayStation 4. Main principle display: minimum talk, maximum games. Gamers really like this arrangement.

At the PlayStation Blogcast event, the head of Sony Interactive Entertainment Worldwide Studios, Shawn Layden, made a rather unusual announcement that there will not be a Sony conference in its standard format at E3 2018. Instead, there will be a detailed screening of the 4 main games of 2018 for PS4 and PS4 Pro: , and .

Obviously, the main attention will be paid to the first and latest games. This is indirectly confirmed by hints from Hideo Kojima, the lead developer of Death Stranding, as well as the suspicious silence of Naughty Dog, the creators of The Last of Us: Part 2. By the way, Kojima will “take the rap” to the fullest: answer questions, show the new Death Stranding trailer, speak in riddles and smile sweetly.

Layden also mentioned that there will be other, smaller projects at the event, most likely small games from independent studios. And lastly: no PlayStation 5. The head of the company made it clear that she is not going to touch on any technical issues.

  • Death Stranding;
  • Ghost of Tsushima;
  • Spider-Man;
  • The Last of Us: Part 2.

Nintendo Conference at E3 2018

Nintendo took a very responsible approach to planning its performance at Electronic Entertainment Expo 2018, publishing a detailed press release. The conference will open with the final of the world championship, after which fans and other visitors to the exhibition will be able to watch a video presentation with new projects.

Despite the press release, the intrigue has not gone away: Nintendo did not disclose the full list of games that will be shown at the conference. So far, there is confirmed information about only one title - this is the version for the Nintendo Switch hybrid console. However, there is no need to worry: the Japanese always bring something special to E3! For example, which briefly appeared in the assortment of the Wallmart store on May 9. Then, of course, she disappeared, but nothing happens for nothing! A similar story happened with, which users could observe due to an error on the Amazon store website.

By the way, after the conference, fans will be able to join another event called Treehouse Live, where for 3 days videos with new games on the company’s platforms will be shown, as well as interviews with developers from its studios. And immediately after - a Super Smash Bros. tournament. with invited guests. Mario-philes will also be able to see gameplay at E3.

This is a real outlet for those who prefer games for personal computers and under the flags of the most different companies, and not just large publishers who were able to “stake out” a separate stand for themselves at the Electronic Entertainment Expo. In 2018, the event will traditionally be held under the patronage of PC Gamer magazine, and among the organizers are companies such as Oculus, Imporable Worlds Limited, Drake's Cakes, Stardock Corporation, Frontier Developments and Tripware Interactive.

The PC Gaming Show will be hosted by renowned journalist and streamer Sean Plott, who will tell you why being a PC gamer is still fashionable in 2018 at the Wiltern Theater. Here is the full list of conference participants:

  • Sega;
  • Square Enix;
  • Crytek;
  • Double Fine;
  • Hi-Rez Studios;
  • SkyDance Media;
  • Digital Extremes;
  • Raw Fury;
  • Klei;
  • Modern Storyteller;
  • tinyBuild;
  • Cloud Imperium Games;
  • Starbreeze;
  • 505 Games;

It is obvious that with such a large roster of companies participating in the games at the event there will be not just a lot, but a lot. However, PC Gaming Show 2018 will also touch on the technical side of the issue - new video cards, processors and, of course, devices for playing in virtual reality.

Results of each day of E3 2018

  • Results of the first day;
  • Results of the second day;
  • Results of the third day.
For 3 days, the best developers in the world will delight us with announcements of completely new games and additional information about already known projects. There will be a lot of things - press releases, trailers, screenshots, interviews and many other materials..

There will be 3 articles in total, each of which will be devoted to the most important news and announcements from one of the days of E3 2018, and there will also be results for each individual conference. Thus, even those who do not have the opportunity to constantly watch online broadcasts will be able to get acquainted with all the most important events of the event.

  • Stardock Entertainment
  • Team 17

  • Tripwire Interactive

The E3 gaming exhibition continues to be bombarded with trailers, project release dates and new releases. On June 12, there was a place for e-sports. Quake Champions with a prize pool of $1 million, and Intel and ESL announced for CS:GO teams. And also 1 million dollars.

At the PC Gaming Show and Ubisoft conferences, there were no high-flown speeches from the stage about computer competitions or plans to break into e-sports. Mostly they talked more about games. And here there were some loud announcements.

Add-on for XCOM 2

Firaxis Games studio is preparing to release a new add-on for XCOM 2. War of the Chosen will complicate the war with the Advents. Three new alien leaders, character classes, storyline and a lot of content. The developers assure that the DLC will be much larger than the previous ones. So wait until August 29th. The add-on will appear on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord

If you like large-scale medieval battles, then TaleWorlds Entertainment is ready to throw you into the thick of a large-scale battle and let you lead an army.

Ooblets

A new adventure game from the studio Glumberland, which will be published by Tim Shafer's company Double Fine. Players will have to dig into the soil on a farm, raise unknown animals, sell what has grown in the beds, and go on adventures. The game will be released in 2018 on PC and Xbox One.

Total War: Warhammer 2

Continuation of the first Total War: Warhammer, which has a lot of controversy surrounding it, should it become a separate game or just an add-on. One way or another, the developers have prepared a new collector's edition for $150 (fans will sell not only their house, but also their soul for it), showed a gameplay trailer and announced the release date of the game. The release will take place on PC on September 28, 2017.

Lawbreakers

The father of Gears of War and the shooter genre, Cliff Bleszinski, has released a trailer for Lawbreakers. It feels like a new generation of Unreal Tournament. This thesis will be tested on August 8, 2017 on PC and PS4.

Bleszinski made another knight's move: his new game will cost 30 dollars, and not 60. Because, in his opinion, online shooters without a full-fledged campaign simply cannot cost that amount, this is wrong. In general, the developer attracted attention and became even closer to the people.

Return of Agent Blaskowitz. All Bethesda Softworks announcements at E3 2017

The sequel to Evil Within and Wolfenstein, plus expansion for Dishonored 2 and the Million Dollar Quake Champions.

Echo Arena

One of the few VR games announced at E3. Exclusive for Oculus Rift, which will be released on July 20th. The only drawback is the multiplayer game.

The Last Night

Odd Tales showed perhaps the most stylish trailer for the game. The perfect combination of pixel art and 3D animation. The authors were inspired by the film “Blade Runner”, so the events will unfold in a cyberpunk world. There is no word on the game's release date. But we know where it will appear first - on Xbox One and PC.

Tunic

An adventure platformer that visually resembles the latest The Legends of Zelda. Andrew Shudice is working on the game together with Finji, the company that released Night in the Woods and Feist. The main character is a charming fox who travels the world in search of adventure. The release will take place in 2018 on Mac, PC and consoles.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War

The sequel to Middle-earth has not yet been released, but the developers have already announced an addition. In it, Talion and Celebrimbor will become acquainted with the “blade of Galadriel.” The girl was sent to Mordor by the queen of the elves Galadriel herself. And all in order to fight the Nazgul and weaken the One Ring.

Age of Empires Definitive Edition

The main surprise of the PC Gaming Show is the re-release of Age of Empires, which was released 20 years ago. The developers have upgraded everything: from graphics to balance. In general, childhood is coming back. It’s just not clear: is it needed now?

The Crew 2

Continuation of the multiplayer game The Crew. Initially, the project was positioned as a racing arcade game, but in the end it absorbed so much that now it’s not clear how to present it. There are races on cars, motorcycles, boats, planes and helicopters.

There are a lot of questions about The Crew 2. The first part failed. At some point, the publisher began giving the game away for free. Same type of tasks, stupid plot and connection to multiplayer. Ubisoft's last years likes to create online games that you don't get excited about.

Lots of sports and jailbreak. What was shown at the Electronic Arts conference

Gameplay from Need for Speed Payback, trailers for Madden NFL and FIFA 18 story modes, and announcements of new games from BioWare and Hazelight at EA Play.

Skull and Bones

This is the golden age of piracy, you are the captain of a ship that can be upgraded like a racing car: from decorative items to the guns. In general, another multiplayer project from Ubisoft, which has been scary since the moment of its announcement. For Honor is losing players due to lack of content. And this is the main concern that developers need to address.

Steep

The game about extreme sports, which is not a shame, will get an addition. It is dedicated to winter Olympic Games 2018 in Pyeongchang. If you're a ski and snowboard enthusiast, you won't find anything better than Steep right now, and even more so given the upcoming event.

E3 2017: New Need For Speed and the return of NBA Live

ABOUT new Need for Speed, which is now similar to the Fast and the Furious series, an Oscar-winning actor in Madden NFL and the return of NBA Live.

Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle

Crossover for Nintendo Switch from Nintendo and Ubisoft. From the outside, Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle resembles a cartoon XCOM for children. And that's not a bad thing at all. At least there will be another interesting game on the Switch.

Just Dance 2018

It’s impossible to imagine the Ubisoft conference without Just Dance 2018. During the presentation they danced and sang, but somehow not for long. Either way, get ready to move your butt on October 26th. The game will be released on consoles and will offer you to dance to both modern hits and classics.

Transference

A new game for VR from Ubisoft, about which nothing is clear yet. However, the debut trailer is intriguing. The video stars actor Elijah Wood. He plays the role of the director of Specter Vision. Transference will probably turn out to be a horror film. The trailer is really fascinating and scary at the same time.

Far Cry 5

It's time to show the video gameplay Far Cry 5. In the new part, the main character can give orders to his partners (it doesn’t matter whether it’s a living person or a dog named Boomer, who can not only rush at people, but also bring weapons in his mouth) and arrange battles on airplanes. Otherwise, this is still a typical Far Cry.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas

A multiplayer open-world space arcade game for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PS4. Ship models and abilities depend on real-life models that can be modified. Once you add a detail, it will immediately appear in the game. In general, parents, prepare your money. Children will dream about the best starship in the universe on the way to the next planet.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole

At its conference, Ubisoft reminded that the wait is not long. The game based on “South Park” will be released on October 17, 2017.

At the same time, the developers are preparing card game on Cell phones. No details yet, but this is South Park. It will be at least awkward and funny.

Assassin's Creed Origins

The most important thing was shown at the Microsoft conference. So Ubisoft only saved a short video about Ancient Egypt.

But at the end of the conference I demonstrated 20 minutes of gameplay.

They took it in quantity. What was shown at the Microsoft conference at E3 2017

At its conference, Microsoft presented to the public the console announced at the last E3 exhibition and inundated gamers with announcements of new games.

Beyond Good and Evil 2

The main announcement of the entire exhibition. The sequel to Beyond Good and Evil is back. When Michel Ancel came out, he couldn’t help but cry. He called Beyond Good and Evil 2 "a sci-fi space opera where players fight for freedom."

The events of the game will unfold before the birth of Jade, the main character of the first part, in the 24th century in solar system called System 3. In the story, this is the place where people migrated from the “Old Earth”. The amount of resources is limited, and private companies are fighting for the remaining resources.

At the same time, the style and atmosphere of the game differ from the original. Characters who swear have nothing in common with a journalist whose main weapon is a camera.

So far, not much is known about Beyond Good and Evil 2. But for many modern gamers, a trailer is enough. Tonight, one game left the list of games that will never be released (hello, Half-Life 3 and WarCraft 4). The main thing is that it doesn’t work out, as always happens with long-term construction projects.

For the second year in a row, AMD is hosting a special show at E3 dedicated to PC gaming - the PC Gaming Show. In addition to the presentation of new hardware from AMD and its partners, for example, many games are shown at the event, some of which are very interesting. Moreover, there were significantly more games for PC than the projects shown at the presentations of platform holders.

And AMD decided to start the show with the original genre of computer games - real-time strategy. And what RTS is better suited to demonstrate the superiority of mouse and keyboard control? Of course, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III. 7 years after the release of the previous part, Relic Entertainment returns to the Warhammer 40K universe. The parties to the conflict that will be available with the release of the game are well known to fans: Space Marines (specifically Blood Ravens), Eldar and Orcs. Each side will be able to bring unique huge units onto the battlefield, which is exactly what is shown in the trailer. The game will only be released on Windows PC sometime in 2017.

Oxygen Not Included is a new project from Klei Entertainment, the authors of , and Shank. This time we will have to survive on the space station, maintaining its functioning. The release date is currently set as late 2016 – early 2017.

Ark: Survival Evolved cannot be called a new game; the project appeared on Steam Early Access a year ago. But a huge community has already gathered around this MMO survival simulator with dinosaurs (more than 3 million players) and the project continues to actively develop. At the PC Gaming Show, an update was presented that adds a new biome to the game - a redwood forest and a new dinosaur - Titanosaurus.

In addition, Ark - Primal Survival was presented - a total conversion of Ark: Survival Evolved, in which the player will be able to live the life of any creature in the game, from an ant or spider, to a bear, wolf or dinosaur. A very unusual experience.

LawBreakers is the new project of Cliff Bleszinski (former managing designer at Epic Games), who has returned to the gaming business, and his new studio, Boss Key Productions. As you might guess, this is a free online shooter with heroes, published by South Korean Nexon. The trick of the game is gravity changing within one level and the use of various gadgets for fast movement.

LawBreakers, compared to the same Overwatch, still looks pale. However, you can try the game yourself by signing up to participate in the alpha test.

The AMD event was not complete without fashionable VR. However, Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope, a version of the classic hurricane shooter from Croteam for virtual reality glasses, still looks too slow and awkward to control. The game will be released as part of Steam Early Access this summer.

Vampyr is an action/RPG from Dontnod studio, authors and . The third project of the studio and again a completely different setting and different gameplay. The game takes place in London against the backdrop of the Spanish flu epidemic in 1918, and we will have to play as Dr. Jonathan Reed, a vampire. One of the interesting features of Vampyr is the ability to complete the game without killing anyone, but without gaining vampire powers. The combat system promises the use of improvised means and the environment. The game is scheduled for release on Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2017.

Killing Floor 2 isn't exactly a new game either, but technically this zombie-themed co-op arena shooter is still in Early Access for over a year now. Actually, a new content pack, Bullseye Update, was presented at the PC Gaming Show.

Killing Floor: Incursion is another project for VR devices. Judging by the video, this is a slow and awkward version of Killing Floor 2.

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, a sequel to the popular medieval battle simulator from the Turkish studio TaleWorlds Entertainment, has been in development for more than 4 years. And this is perhaps the most a big problem games. The authors have set themselves too ambitious goals and they simply do not have enough resources to implement them. And although the siege of a fortress using special equipment looks very impressive, the animation and graphics of the project remained at the level of the mid-2000s. There is still no word on the game's release date.

Dual Universe is a space simulator with a seamless transition from star flights to the surface of the planet. And although the game looks like an MMO clone of No Man's Sky, it also has its own highlights. For example, a fully editable world, changed by players; the ability to create giant manned ships with a large crew; realistic living economy; mechanisms and machines that work according to a script that the players themselves can write. Sounds interesting. Alpha test of MMO Dual Universe is planned for 2017. Platform - PC.

Many PC games grow out of modifications to other projects. Insurgency: Modern Infantry Combat was a mod for Half-Life before it became a standalone game. Now Day of Infamy is moving from a total conversion to Insurgency into the category of independent projects. Unlike Insurgency, which is dedicated to modern conflicts, Day of Infamy takes us to the fields of World War II. One problem, even before release the game looks, to put it mildly, outdated in technical terms.

Mirage: Arcane Warfare is a new project from the creators of . Now not only steel, but also magic, plus, within the current trend, with unique abilities of heroes. The unusual “oriental” graphic style is impressive.

The gameplay shown at the PC Gaming Show looks too leisurely and, let's say, strange. Hopefully the game will continue to be polished. Public beta testing of Mirage: Arcane Warfare is planned for this summer, and the project's release is scheduled for the end of 2016.

Mages of Mystralia is a cute adventure game about a magical girl who can combine different powers into unique spells. Millions of variations and possibilities are promised.

Quite an unexpected update for the MMO shooter/slasher Warframe. Warframe Lunaro is a team sports game, somewhat similar to high-speed lacrosse and ancient Incan swordplay, in which tenno must put down their weapons for a while. The update has already been released, and in general, three major Warframe updates are planned for June-July 2016.

While Deus Ex: Mankind Divided isn't a PC exclusive, we know how to play the game, especially with the combat style shown in the demo at the PC Gaming Show.

Bonus. Other E3 2016 games

In order not to get up twice, we decided to include in this material other interesting games shown at E3 2016, which did not have enough space in the publishers’ presentations.

Fantastic action/RPG The Technomancer is a prequel to the game from the Spiders studio. The action takes place again on Mars during the war for water. New part boasts improved graphics, an updated crafting system and new combat. The Technomancer will be released on Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on June 28, 2016.

Call of Cthulhu – video adaptation of the tabletop game role-playing game in the world of Howard Lovecraft, which has gone through two dozen reprints. The development is carried out by the Parisian Cyanide Studio. You, in the role of private detective Edward Pierce, find yourself on a remote island where you must investigate the mysterious death of Sarah Hawkins and her family. There are no additional details about the project yet. The release is scheduled for 2017. Platforms – Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Another project from Cyanide Studio, a continuation of the adventures of the goblin thief Styx. In we learned the secret of the origin of the goblin. In the new project, Styx: Shards of Darkness, a master thief is tasked with stealing a magical scepter, but it turns out that several parties are hunting for this item at once. The project moved to Unreal Engine 4 and has clearly improved. In addition, the new game promises to place even greater emphasis on stealth play.
