What is E3?
Electronic Entertainment Expo (electronic entertainment exhibition) or E3 is traditionally the largest annual event dedicated to video games and related products (consoles, components, etc.). It so happens that it takes place in mid-June in the American city of Los Angeles, where tens of thousands of people come to learn everything about new games.
People go to E3 for a reason; this is where the biggest announcements are most often made; this is where the largest companies in the gaming industry come to hold their own conferences and demonstrate their most ambitious projects. Of course, the press is not far behind, because there is so much news at E3 that you can write and write and write about it.
E3 2018 also did not depart from the established tradition: the action will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center for the 9th time. The pavilion will be able to accommodate approximately 15 thousand visitors, but in reality there will be much more of them, because the exhibition will take place over 3 days, constantly seeing off some gamers and meeting others.

For many years in a row, the E3 exhibition has been held for three days in a row. In each of them, the doors of the exhibition pavilion are open for 8-10 hours. At the same time, the content may change, because many stands are set up for a limited time in order to give the opportunity for several companies and studios to hold presentations at once.
This year will mark the 24th Electronic Entertainment Expo. Date: June 12-14; in Russia, due to time zone differences, part of the schedule falls on June 15. However, in fact, you will have to follow the news from E3 in advance, because publisher Electronic Arts will again be at the “warm-up” with its annual EA Play conference, which begins on June 9 at 21:00 Moscow time.
What's on the minds of the most hardcore gamers about this upcoming event? Of course, this is conference time. What to expect from a famous publisher this year? In principle, everything is as always. Firstly, Electronic Arts will probably show new parts of all its sports lines: FIFA, Madden, NHL, NBA Live and others. Secondly, you should definitely expect news on already announced projects from studios owned by EA. Thirdly, of course, new announcements!
For example, the publisher confirmed that a new build will be officially announced and brought to EA Play, the teaser of which appeared online on June 1. You can also expect news about the next part of the racing franchise Need for Speed.
Shortly before EA Play, there was a leak, according to which the game Unravel 2 received an age rating from the ESRB office. Based on all this information, we can make a list of games that will most likely be seen at the Electronic Arts event:

Devolver Digital Conference at E3 2018
If last year Devolver Digital held its conference closer to the E3 finale, then this year it is in the forefront. However, eccentricity and marginality will remain in place, because in mid-May a post appeared on Devolver’s official Twitter account in which representatives of the publisher apologize in advance.
The official name of the conference is Big Fancy Press Conference. Both new games, the list of which is not specified, and “technical innovations from Devolver Labs” are announced. Last year, one of them was Screen Pay - an early access system for a game that requires users to throw money into the monitor and wait for the game to come out.
The conference will take place for 5 hours - from 6:00 to 11:00 Moscow time. Devolver Digital employees provide neither the content nor even an approximate list of games.
Microsoft Conference at E3 2018
Last year, Mikey shone with press releases for the revolutionary Project Scorpio console and promised that there would be many exclusives for it and the Windows 10 operating system. The French company announced its intention to hold its own conference at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2018 in mid-April. It’s interesting that this time Ubisoft didn’t have enough vaults in the exhibition pavilion, so the event will be held in the Orpheum Theater building. There, as many remember, Sony also held its conference in 2017.
Company representatives did not share the list of games that will be shown. And this is understandable: who reveals all the cards in advance?

Nintendo Conference at E3 2018
Nintendo took a very responsible approach to planning its performance at Electronic Entertainment Expo 2018, publishing a detailed press release. For the second year in a row, AMD is hosting a special show at E3 dedicated to PC gaming - the PC Gaming Show. In addition to the presentation of new hardware from AMD and its partners, for example, many games are shown at the event, some of which are very interesting. Moreover, there were significantly more games for PC than the projects shown at the presentations of platform holders.
And AMD decided to start the show with the original genre of computer games - real-time strategy. And what RTS is better suited to demonstrate the superiority of mouse and keyboard control? Of course, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III. 7 years after the release of the previous part, Relic Entertainment returns to the Warhammer 40K universe. The parties to the conflict that will be available with the release of the game are well known to fans: Space Marines (specifically Blood Ravens), Eldar and Orcs. Ark: Survival Evolved cannot be called a new game; the project appeared on Steam Early Access a year ago. But a huge community has already gathered around this MMO survival simulator with dinosaurs (more than 3 million players) and the project continues to actively develop. At the PC Gaming Show, an update was presented that adds a new biome to the game - a redwood forest and a new dinosaur - Titanosaurus.

LawBreakers, compared to the same Overwatch, still looks pale. However, you can try the game yourself by signing up to participate in the alpha test.
The AMD event was not complete without fashionable VR. However, Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope, a version of the classic hurricane shooter from Croteam for virtual reality glasses, still looks too slow and awkward to control. The game will be released as part of Steam Early Access this summer.
Vampyr is an action/RPG from Dontnod studio, authors and . The third project of the studio and again a completely different setting and different gameplay. The game takes place in London against the backdrop of the Spanish flu epidemic in 1918, and we will have to play as Dr. Jonathan Reed, a vampire. One of the interesting features of Vampyr is the ability to complete the game without killing anyone, but without gaining vampire powers. The combat system promises the use of improvised means and the environment. The game is scheduled for release on Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2017.
Killing Floor 2 isn't exactly a new game either, but technically this zombie-themed co-op arena shooter is still in Early Access for over a year now. Actually, a new content pack, Bullseye Update, was presented at the PC Gaming Show.
Killing Floor: Incursion is another project for VR devices. Judging by the video, this is a slow and awkward version of Killing Floor 2.
Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, a sequel to the popular medieval battle simulator from the Turkish studio TaleWorlds Entertainment, has been in development for more than 4 years. And this is perhaps the most a big problem games. The authors have set themselves too ambitious goals and they simply do not have enough resources to implement them. And although the siege of a fortress using special equipment looks very impressive, the animation and graphics of the project remained at the level of the mid-2000s. Dual Universe is a space simulator with a seamless transition from star flights to the surface of the planet. And although the game looks like an MMO clone of No Man's Sky, it also has its own highlights. For example, a fully editable world, changed by players; the ability to create giant manned ships with a large crew; realistic living economy; mechanisms and machines that work according to a script that the players themselves can write.
