In conclusion, I note - do not expect miracles. Why am I talking about this? To load a site or download a file the time depends not only on the speed of the Internet information, but a lot also depends on the hardware features of the server (CPU, RAM, HDD, etc.).

As I said in the previous article, there is no way we can expand the Internet channel received from your provider. But we can optimize it - this time with the help of a program. After optimization, the Internet, in fact, will not change, but the speed of displaying sites should increase.
In addition, the program is simple, you should not have any problems with it, so I recommend everyone to try it.

Download the program from this site, unpack the downloaded file using any archiver, such as WinRar, and run the Auslogics IO 2.0.6.55.exe boot file.
After installation, if you did not remove any checkmarks, an icon of the program should be created on the desktop + the program itself should start. I recommend using all automatic optimizations rather than manual ones.

Now let's configure your modem's cache. There is a system.ini file in the Windows folder, open it and enter the line Com1Irq4Buffer=1024 in the section if your modem is on COM1, and enter Com2Irq3Buffer=1024 if on COM2.
In Start \ Run, enter gpedit.msc. In the Computer Configuration section, select Administrative Templates, then Network, and then in the right pane, select "QoS Package Manager" and double-click on it. Select the "Limit reserved bandwidth" option and double-click on it again. There are special programs to increase the speed of work on the Internet. But you should not use a dozen of these programs at once, I can advise two - AusLogics BoostSpeed and Throttle. These programs are on my site. Use in this order: Throttle your PC first, then use BoostSpeed in manual optimization mode to disable RFC 1323 Settings and enable Selective Acknowlegement with Black Hole. Well, then bring to the final form manually.
You can find out how to work with him. All basic network access speed settings are located at HKEY_LOCAL_MASHINE\ SYSTEM\ CurrentControlSet\ Services\ Tcpip\ Parameters. All changes to the listed parameters must be made in decimal, not hexadecimal! If you do not have enough parameter, you can create it yourself as a DWORD
DefaultTTL- packet lifetime, set to 256 - just in case))
GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize- maximum packet size, set 32768 on dialup 56k
MTU- the size of the received MTU packet, on dialup 56k optimally - 1536 (you can try the value 576)
TcpWindowSize- Tcp packet size, set to 16384 (you can try 8192, but don't set it higher than GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize) if you have a dialup of 56k
Tcp1323Opts- 0 (off) - a completely unnecessary function - measures in advance the transmission time of each packet, flop ...
EnablePMTUDiscovery- 1(on), EnablePMTUBHDetect- 1 (enabled) - these options define path fragmentation and look for "black holes", slightly increase speed
KeepAliveInterval, KeepAliveTime- these parameters determine the time after which keep-alive packets will be sent, which are not needed by anyone, but eat up part of the traffic. Therefore, we put zeros in both cases to disable these options.
DeadGWDetectDefault- 0 (off) - disables the preliminary search for broken routers, which usually slows down the Internet.
When you visit any site, the name of the site is "translated" into its IP address. All this is stored in the DNS cache, that is, the information is taken from the cache, and there is no "on-the-fly translation". You can increase the size of the DNS cache, thereby increasing the speed of surfing the web. To do this, you must create and run a .reg file containing the following text:
