The customers wanted to emphasize the scale and historical character of the building, but at the same time dilute the vintage style with modern details. “The wall with two large windows was covered with plasterboard. I wanted to “open” it and find out what they were trying to hide there. It turned out that the tiles that were often used in industrial premises of the last century were preserved on the wall. I suggested that the customers leave everything as is, or paint it a uniform color, keeping only the outlines. We agreed on the first option, and I just decorated the window openings with oak slopes and a window sill to create comfort,” says Alexey.
