Internet connection setup

Before setting the router settings, you need to reset its settings to factory settings. To do this, go to Settings;→ Reset;→ Restore default settings;.

The window below will appear in front of you. We expect 2 minutes.

After resetting the default settings, you need to remove unnecessary add-ons from the router. Go to the tab. Next, check 3 checkboxes as shown in the screenshot below and click Delete;.

Next, go to the tab Additional settings;→ 2nd level interface;. Next, check the only checkbox as shown in the screenshot below and click Delete;.

Internet setup via xDSL

Additional settings;, Layer 2 interface;. We press the button Add; in the middle of the window.

We follow the setup wizard ;, we fix only 2 points VPI and VCI for the parameters that Rostelecom uses. Click Apply/Save;

We check that the appropriate layer 2 interface is selected (in our example it is 0_0_35) and press Further;

In the WAN service configuration, decide how the modem (router, bridge) will be configured and click Further;(see an example of setting by a router)

In the window that appears, enter PPP username;- login, PPP password;- password. PPPoE service name;- any. Put a tick in the box retry PPP on authentication failure; and Enable IGMP Multicast Proxy;, Further;

In the next two windows of the wizard; check that the created interfaces are in the left column. If they are in the right - transfer to the left, press Further;

Internet setup via ETTH

Go to tab Additional settings;→ ETH interface;. If this is empty, then add an entry. If Already available, then do not change anything (by default, a WAN port for eth0 is created - the first LAN port).

Go to tab Additional settings;→ WAN service;. Click Add;.

choose eth0/et0 Further;.

Put a dot on PPP over Ethernet (PPPoE), press Further;.

Type in section Username; enter the username of the subscriber, respectively, in Password;- subscriber's password, PPPoE service name;- int. Click Further;.

Then the left column Available routable WAN interfaces; highlight the item ppp1.1; and press the button <- . Click Further;. Similarly, then in the left column Available WAN interfaces; highlight the item ppp1.1; and press the button <- . Click Further;.

Setting up IP TV

Setting up IP-TV for different connection technologies is different.

Setting up IP-TV via xDSL

In the main window, click the menu item on the left Additional settings;, Layer 2 interface;. In the table that appears, if there are already configured connections for IP-TV, delete them (delete first in the WAN service menu, then in the Layer 2 Interface). Then we press the button Add; in the middle of the window.

We fix only 2 points VPI and VCI for the parameters used by Rostelecom. Click Apply/Save; at the bottom of the window (in the picture, the Rostelecom Omsk setting)

We add one more interface to the WAN service configuration, where we check that the appropriate layer 2 interface is selected (in our example it is 0_1_36) and click Further;

For the modem to work correctly with STB set-top boxes (IPTV), you must go to the LAN parameter in the left menu and disable DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) in the window that appears. Then check that IGMP Snooping is enabled and click the button below Apply/Save;

Go to Grouping of interfaces and press Add;.

Create a group:

Group name; - any, for example IPTV;
We throw the desired connection to the left column using the special arrows;
We transfer the desired LAN port to the left column. Just do not forget that the serial number of the LAN port written on the device case is one digit more than the one in the WEB interface. That is, if I want to connect the fourth port to television, then I transfer eth3 in the WEB interface;
