Fuel

The gas burners are factory set for natural gas H, comparable to the EE-H method. You can change the gas type to liquefied P/B/P at any time using the conversion parts. Conversion to city gas is not possible. The supplied gas pressure (supplied pressure is the static excess pressure of the gas relative to atmospheric pressure when it flows out at the connection point of the gas appliance) must be in the following range:

1) - Up to 8 mbar when working with a gas pressure monitoring device

The maximum supply pressure when operating on natural gas can be 25 mbar. If the supplied gas pressure is higher, it is necessary to install an additional gas pressure regulator on the burner. The maximum test pressure is 150 mbar.

Flue gas temperature / chimney connection

The required pressure is for all boiler sizes a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 10 Pa.
For more precise adjustment and maintenance of draft in the chimney, as well as for organizing ventilation of the chimney itself, it is recommended to install and adjust an additional air regulator (draft limiter). The cross-section of the additional air regulator depends on the effective height and cross-section of the chimney.

Flue gas shut-off valve

If desired, a flue gas shut-off valve can be purchased as an optional extra. A flue gas shut-off valve installed before the draft breaker is more effective than one installed after it.

Installations with underfloor heating

In floor heating systems using oxygen-permeable plastic pipes (DIN 4726), it is necessary to install a heat exchanger between the heating boiler and the floor heating system.

Preparing hot water

The heating boiler can work with any water heater tank. Combinations of the boiler with tanks of the Logalux ST/SU series have particular advantages.

General provisions

  • For heating boilers that must be equipped with a flue gas monitoring system according to the FeuVO of the relevant federal state, accessories can be supplied
  • For version B11 (without flue gas monitoring system), the boiler may only be installed in rooms that have the required ventilation to the atmosphere and also have a self-closing and sealed door, for example in boiler rooms
  • For version B11 BS (with flue gas monitoring system), the heating boiler can be installed in apartments or similar places
  • To ensure the functioning of the boiler, all connections must be made in the places specified for them
  • When installing a gas heating boiler operating on liquefied gas below ground level, it is recommended to install a second solenoid valve. A switchgear for controlling the solenoid valve can be supplied as an option
  • In installations with underfloor heating, with several heating circuits, as well as in installations with large water volumes, it is necessary to install a mixer to regulate the heating circuits, depending on local operating conditions.

The floor-standing gas cast-iron heating boiler “Buderus Logano G234X (WS)” with a power of 60 kW with an atmospheric burner appeared in an updated version in 2017 - with modern standard automation EMS Plus and spectacular industrial design from Buderus. This new generation boiler has retained the basic qualities of its predecessor, such as high performance at low costs, reliability, efficiency, compactness, and also has a power of 60 kW. Works on both natural and liquefied gas. The boiler is designed for heating large buildings, since it can be used to organize economical heating when high power is required. In combination with high-quality floor-standing water heaters "Buderus" of the "Logalux ST" and "Logalux SU" series, it allows you to implement a comfortable hot water supply system.

The atmospheric gas burner with pre-mixing, which the boiler is equipped with at the factory, does not have a fan, which ensures silent operation. There is no need for additional noise reduction measures during heating mode. The burner operates fully automatically, ignition is electric and does not require additional gas consumption.

The low-temperature heating boiler “Logano G234X (WS)” is equipped with an efficient heat exchanger with 7 sections, made of high-quality gray cast iron GL 180 M. The sections are ideally matched to the design of the boiler block and have special fins, due to which there is intense heat transfer from the heating surfaces. The boiler is equipped with 80 mm thick thermal insulation, which, together with the cladding, prevents energy loss.

The new boiler model “Logano G234X (WS)” was designed specifically for the installation of the modern control system “Buderus Logamatic MC110” standard EMS Plus. This automation is optionally equipped with a “RC 310” or “BC 30 E” controller with a touch screen and full-text menu. Such a system allows you to work in a weather-dependent mode, controls the boiler and indirect heating boiler, recirculation line, 3-way valve, and also informs about the current status, selected functions, and errors. Control is carried out using a 0-10 V signal. Setting up all options is intuitive and very simple - according to the “Push and turn” principle. All control functions are coordinated with the installation hydraulics. The control system can be expanded with additional modules: mixing modules, Internet connection module, cascade module with the ability to control up to 4 boilers, modules for solar systems. For complex systems, it is recommended to use the new generation of professional automation “Logamatic 5000”. The control system is not included in the boiler delivery and must be ordered separately.

The “Logano G234X (WS)” boiler is delivered fully assembled, with casing and gas burner, which allows you to significantly save installation time and costs and allow quick commissioning. The quick installation system for the heating circuit for connection to the boiler or wall mounting is adapted to the corresponding hydraulic circuit. The water heater tank is conveniently connected to the boiler using a connecting pipeline with a loading pump and a check valve.
