Prayer is one of the most powerful tools we have been given, but it can also be the most frustrating tool for many believers. In many churches, only a small percentage of the congregation attends prayer meetings. Many Christians live with guilt from the lack of prayer in their lives or they feel that they do not know how to pray effectively.

Some pretend they have a great prayer life to impress others.

In this case, it is useful to understand what keeps us from prayer. There is certainly a spiritual war going on for our time in prayer, and we need to recognize the obstacles so that we can overcome them. The following obstacles cannot be justified, but must be removed from our path:

1. We feel that our prayers are not effective. Many people forget that heaven's timeline is different from ours, so they are disappointed when prayer is not answered instantly. When we don't see immediate results, we usually give up.

2. We don't feel close enough to God. Sometimes we begin to compare ourselves with others and find ourselves not as spiritual as them. We feel far from God, and when we approach Him, we do not have the courage we need for confident, full-faith prayer.

3. Distractions. I believe one of Satan's tools to keep the church from praying is the constant distractions that fill our day and life with things and things that are not necessarily bad, but that distract us from the priorities of heaven. "Keep 'em busy, busy, busy", so that they would feel a false sense of accomplishment.

4. We rely on our own strength. That's the thing, judging by our daily routine - many people don't even need God. Is our day marked by a clear need for God to meet Him in our world? If so, it will be evident in our prayer life. Often, we have what we need, so we move through our day on our own.

5. God doesn't hear or nothing happens. Many people do not have enough faith in their hearts to believe that God hears their prayers. If He hears and they don't see any results, what should change this time?

6. Lack of personal significance. They lack the understanding that “my prayers really mean something.” They cherish their sense of unworthiness, neglecting the importance of who they are and the prayers they bring to God.

7. Nobody taught us. The disciples asked Jesus—more than anything else they could ask—to pray as He prayed. They are nowhere mentioned as asking how to preach or teach, but how to pray. Everything comes from there, but rarely do we sit with someone who has a strong prayer life and learn from them.

8. We don't know how to communicate. Prayer involves talking to God, but many people find it very difficult to express what is on their hearts. We don't know how to share what's in our hearts with another person, and God is a person. He desires our hearts more than anything else. But if you find it difficult to share what is in your heart with others, then sharing what is in your heart with God will be just as challenging for you.

9. Boredom. Many people fall into the pit of religious debt again and again. We like to have some kind of routine in our lives, so our relationship with God can often fall into a boring pattern of saying the same prayers, without applying our hearts and failing to hear anything back from God. Thus, we see prayer as a useless pastime.

10. Disappointment. A massive barrier in the prayer life of many believers is disappointment. We may feel like God has allowed us to fall, or has turned His back on us in a past situation. We may have prayed for someone who was not healed or, worse, died. In our disappointment, we may blame God and become angry with Him. And why then would anyone want to pray to someone they are angry with? This is something that needs attention and healing so that the line of prayer can be established again.

This article contains various prayers. It describes what kind of prayer to read for different needs. What prayer to read for peace and humility, what kind of amulet to read on the road, what prayer to read for the fulfillment of desires, etc.

Prayer of the Optina Elders.

Lord, let me meet with peace of mind everything that the coming day will bring me. Let me completely surrender to Your holy will. For every hour of this day, instruct and support me in everything. Whatever news I receive during the day, teach me to accept it with a calm soul and a firm conviction that everything is Your holy will. In all my words and deeds, guide my thoughts and feelings. In all unforeseen cases, do not let me forget that everything was sent down by You. Teach me to act directly and wisely with each member of my family, without confusing or upsetting anyone. Lord, give me strength to endure the fatigue of the coming day and all the events during the day. Guide my will and teach me to pray, believe, hope, endure, forgive and love. Amen.

Daily prayer Our Father

Our Father in heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name;
Thy kingdom come;
Thy Will be done
and on earth as in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our debts,
just as we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation,
but deliver us from evil,
for Thine is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory
Forever. Amen.

Prayer for peace and humility.

Lord, give me the strength to change what I can change, give me humility to accept what I cannot change, give me wisdom to always distinguish one from the other. Amen.

Psalm 90

During the war, people read this prayer, carried it with them, and went through all the trials and war and remained alive. This is a wonderful prayer of protection from all external enemies and internal fears. Read it yourself and give it to your loved ones and family!

He who lives under the shelter of the Most High rests in the shadow of the Almighty.
He says to the Lord: my refuge and my defense, my God in whom I trust!
He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, from the destructive plague.
He will overshadow you with His feathers, and under His wings you will be safe; shield and fence is His truth.
You will not be afraid of horrors in the night, arrows flying during the day,
The plague that walks in darkness, the plague that destroys at midday.
A thousand shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but he won't come close to you.
Only you will look with your eyes and see the retribution of the wicked.
For you said: The Lord is my hope; you have chosen the Most High as your refuge.
No evil will befall you, and no plague will come near your dwelling.
For He will command His angels about you, to guard you in all your ways.
They will carry you in their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone.
You will step on the asp and basilisk; You will trample on the lion and the dragon.
3 But because he has loved Me, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he has known My name.
He will call to Me, and I will hear him; I am with him in sorrow; I will deliver him and glorify him;
I will satisfy him with long days, and show him My salvation. Amen.

Mikhail is ahead of me
Michael is behind me
Michael is on my right,

I am His protecting love here!

Tested by me and my family - Archangel Michael always helps!!!

Prayer is a request for clarity.

This prayer “request for clarity” from the book by Deepak Chopra, it helps to see the situation adequately, realistically, objectively. If you find yourself in confusion, in a situation where you cannot make a decision, make a choice, or when you don’t know much about the situation, the motives of others are hidden from you, someone is trying to deceive you, etc. – You can read this prayer.

“Adapt prayer to your own needs. By specifically naming what is confusing you... Asking for clarity opens the way to whatever Spirit wants to lead you to,” writes Deepak Chopra.

In prayer, instead of the phrase “born of the past,” talk about your situation, for example, “born of my situation, the misunderstanding between me and my loved one, whether he is hiding something from me, etc.”

God and Spirit, give me clarity of mind and heart.
Free me from the confusion born of the past.
Let me see everything as if for the first time!
Grant me unknown bliss!
Surprise me with joy!
And send me updates on my journey!
Amen.

This miraculous prayer helps you find a way out of a difficult situation and make the right choice. And indeed, after reading it, the correct solution is found, even in the most seemingly dead-end and confusing cases. This prayer helped me a lot in a situation of uncertainty, literally after a few days everything became clear to me!

The presence of serious problems indicates that a person has lost his way. Prayer will help you replenish your strength, strengthen your faith, and overcome difficulties.

Since ancient times, God and his saints have helped people fight various misfortunes. Tormented souls always find consolation in God's gracious intercession. You should address the Creator according to church canons, with love in your soul and sincerity in your words.

Why problems occur

First of all, misfortunes overtake people who have strayed from the right course. The Lord points out this through a series of bad luck and failures, thereby protecting us from making new mistakes. But there are exceptions: sometimes our Creator wants us to be patient and be able to endure everything that fate has in store for us. In both cases, the Almighty educates each of us with personal participation, wanting only the best.

Evil tests the soul of every person every day. People who have forgotten about faith and become hostages of their own temptations will sooner or later meet the wrath of God. Everyone will find salvation in the mercy of the Creator. It is necessary to turn to God and his Saints daily in prayerful request and gratitude.

Prayers for getting rid of problems always help everyone, since they are addressed to God’s most powerful Pleasers. You can say prayers in moments of sadness, loss of strength, at an hour when faith has wavered or you feel that you have lost your way. Everyone, regardless of age and gender, needs Higher help. Not to mention those cases when a person came face to face with bad luck, misfortune and problems. God will not leave you in difficult times. To ask the Lord and His Close Ones for deliverance from problems should begin with reading the prayer Our Father.

Protective prayer to the Guardian Angel

Who, if not your Guardian Angel, can help strengthen your personal strength and believe in your own capabilities? He was assigned to you by the Lord to serve in order to protect your soul and guide you in moments of despair. The sacred text reads like this:

“Angel of God, my Guardian. You and your intercession were given to me from above. I pray for Your help, illuminate all obstacles on my path with bright light, save my soul from all evil and guide me to good deeds. In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen".

Prayer to the Council and the 12 Apostles, protecting against problems and misfortune

This prayer will protect you from any misfortune. It is best to approach reading in moments of torment of the soul. The mighty power of the twelve apostles will build a wall around you that will not be broken by any misfortunes.

“Oh, Holy Apostles, Peter, Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew, James, Judas, Simon and Matthias! Hear our prayers, sinful servants of God, contrite in heart. Help us (name), atone for our sins before the Lord and beg him to deliver us from demonic interference, evil and hypocrisy. Give us faithful and unshakable faith, so that the Almighty may see all our love and help us overcome troubles, misfortunes and sorrows, and protect our lives and hearts with His intercession. We kneel before the power of the Council, glorifying the Lord God forever and ever. Amen".

Prayer to Nicholas the Wonderworker for deliverance from failures

Everyone asks St. Nicholas the Wonderworker for intercession: Christians, scientists, deeply believers and atheists. Even people of other religions turn to the Saint with reverence and requests. The reason for such strong veneration of God's Pleasant is known - powerful help does not take long to arrive. Prayer near the image of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker:

“Oh, Great Nicholas! Shepherd of God and teacher of all believers, hear our prayers addressed to Your intercession. Deliver the sinful servants of God from problems that lead to troubles and suffering. Protect and preserve with your holy participation from worldly failures, cowardice, laziness and the invasion of adversity. We beg You, Wonderworker, protect us from the evil eye, deliver us from hunger, fire, rebellion, wars and other misfortunes. You, Great One, have already saved more than one person from severe troubles, so come to me (name) to help. Deliver me from the wrath of God and eternal torment, having prayed for me all my sins before him. I appeal to Your mercy. In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen".

Prayer for deliverance from problems to the life-giving Cross

Believers bow their heads before the cross on which our Savior was crucified. The bodily torment experienced by Christ in the name of our happiness and eternal life will remain in the memory of everyone until the end of days. This prayer will help to hold back the blows of fate with the humility with which Jesus endured torment. Text:

“May the Lord rise again and all that fears the gaze of the Almighty disappear at once. Like smoke, everything obscene will disappear from a righteous life. All evil will descend back into the abyss of darkness and sin. The sign of the cross reminds us of the pain of Christ, of his torment and of the power of the spirit. Our Savior, who descended into hell, equalized the forces of good and evil and helped every creature of God to find eternal life. The given cross will drive away all sadness, pain, misfortune from the one who is honored to wear it on his chest. Help me, Holy Son of the Lord, and Virgin Mary with all the Saints forever. Amen".

Each saint has a certain power received from the Lord during his lifetime. With the help of prayers, you can not only strengthen your own faith, receive the intercession of the Almighty, but also change your destiny. I wish you success, and don't forget to press the buttons and

[Here we must imagine that we are not in an ordinary place, but in the pure dimension of Sukhavati, on a flat, flat and completely clean earth. All creatures here are pure by nature, and not just men or women, elephants, tigers and others. The area is extraordinarily beautiful. At the center of this beautiful setting is an immense lake. In the center of the lake grows a huge tree with a strong trunk and five branches. One branch is in the center, and the others diverge in four main directions. On the central branch is our Root Teacher in the form of Padmasambhava. He is surrounded by lineage Lamas.

On the branch in front of him is the embodiment of all Yidams - Vishuddha Heruka. He is surrounded by Yidams and Dakinis. To the right of Padmasambhava is Buddha Shakyamuni, surrounded by Buddhas of three times and ten directions. On the branch facing backward are the sacred Dharma texts, and on the left branch is the noble Sangha, headed by the eight chief Bodhisattvas. They all represent common Objects of Refuge.

When we take refuge, we imagine that we are surrounded by all living beings. To our right is our father, to our left is our mother, as we know or remember them. Right in front of us are our enemies and those with whom we experience difficulties. There are countless living beings around us that we know or can imagine, among them are clouded demons and beings who have tried to harm us since beginningless times.

All these beings gathered here, with us at their head, stand facing the Tree and reverently honor the Supreme Assembly with body, speech and mind. Every living being folds his palms over his heart in devoted and sincere prayer, makes prostrations, generates the deepest trust in the Objects of Refuge and the aspiration to free himself from suffering and achieve Enlightenment. We completely surrender ourselves to the Three Jewels - Buddha, Dharma and Sangha, and the Three Roots - Gurus, Yidams and Dakinis.

We understand that only the Supreme Assembly has the ability to save us from the ocean of samsara, and we make an unshakable decision to always cling to this Refuge. If we find it difficult to imagine the complete collection of Objects of Refuge, we can visualize only Padmasambhava, for he embodies the entire Supreme Assembly.

In the presence of clearly manifested Refuge Objects filling space, we also develop bodhichitta of intention and application. We decide to achieve enlightenment for the benefit of all sentient beings and wish to turn our intention into action - to reach the level of Trikaya Guru. Trikaya is the dharmakaya Buddha, Amitabha or Amitayus, the sambhogakaya is Avalokiteshvara, and the nirmanakaya is Padmasambhava.

We promise and vow to achieve this state for the benefit of all sentient beings. Holding the visualization clearly, we say the Refuge Prayer three times]

Refuge

NAMO DAG DANG KHANYAM SEMCHEN MALU KUN

Namo! I and all living beings, vast as the sky,

KYAB KYI CHOG GYUR NAMLA KYAB SU CHI

We take refuge in those who are the highest refuge.

MON DANG JUG PEI JANGCHUB SEM KYE NE

By developing bodhichitta of intention and application,

KU SUM LAMEI GOPANG DRUBPAR GYI

I reach the level of Trikaya Guru.

[Then we begin to do prostrations. Our mind is concentrated on the Objects of Refuge, our speech repeats the prayer, and our body makes prostrations. We touch our folded hands to our heads, whereby we open our body; we touch the throat and open speech; then we touch the heart and open our mind. We then slide our entire length forward along the floor, repeating the Prayer of Refuge. The reverse movement begins after the outstretched arms lightly touch. We count prostrations, not the number of prayers.

Having made prostrations, we sit down again and slowly recite the Refuge Prayer three times]. [In conclusion, imagine that thanks to the rays of light emanating from the Objects of Refuge, we and all sentient beings are completely purified from delusions and unvirtuous actions.

Then we move on to doing the Vajrasattva practice.]

Vajrasattva Practice

[First we visualize the deity, the support for the practice. We imagine that there is a fully open white lotus flower above our head. The lunar disk appears in this flower. The lotus flower and the moon disk are the throne of Vajrasattva, whose radiant form, beautiful and transparent, appears above our heads. His right hand holds a golden vajra vertically at the heart, and his left hand holds a silver bell with its mouth upward at the hip. He sits in the vajra posture in union with the beautiful Nyemma, who holds the digug and kapala. His head is slightly tilted and he has a kind smile on his face. He wears jewelry and silk robes showing the perfect qualities of Enlightenment. When doing visualization, we chant once in Tibetan and once in Russian.]

A DAG GI CHIVOR PEDEY TENG

And above my head on the lotus and the moon is

SANGYE KUNGYI YESHE KU

The Body of the Primordial Knowledge of all Buddhas -

DORJE SEMPA DEVACHE

Vajrasattva, Great Bliss.

DREAMY TONGKEI DAWEI DANG

Unsullied like the light of the autumn moon,

CHAGNYI DORJE DRILBU US

Holds a bell and a vajra

RANGO NYEM MA GYEPAR TRIL

And embraces Nyemma, his own light.

DAR DANG RINCHEN GYEN GYI DZEY

He is adorned with silk robes and jewels,

SHAB ZUNG DORJE KYIL TRUNGGI

His legs are in vajara position,

JA ZER TIGLEY LONGNA SHUG

He resides in the space of the tigle and rainbow rays.

[Then, accompanied by repentance, a strong feeling of regret and sadness for the bad deeds and failures committed, we practice using the antidote - visualization for reciting the mantra. We sing once in Tibetan and once in Russian:]

THUGKAR DAVEI KYIL KHOR U

In his heart on the lunar disk

DESHEG KUN GYI THUG SOG HUNG

There is HUNG, the heart syllable of all Sugatas,

YI GE GYAPEI NGAG KYI KOR

The syllable is surrounded by a hundred-syllable mantra.

DEPEY O TRO DON NYI JE

When recited, rays are emitted, fulfilling two purposes.

TSURDU DUJI CHU GYUN BAB

(When the light) gathers back, a stream of nectar falls

RANKS OF TSANGPEI GONYE SHCHUG

And flows into the crown of my head,

DIG DRIB NYAMCHAG KUN JIANG NEY

Purifying all non-virtues, obscurations and violations of samaya,

DAG CHINGDRIMA MEYPAR GYUR

And I become spotlessly pure.

[We imagine that in the heart of Vajrasattva, in the center of the body, a lunar disk appears with the syllable HUNG standing on it. Around the syllable, in a spiral on the lunar disk, there is a hundred-syllable mantra. From HUNG light is emitted to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of all times and directions.

After the light has touched them, along with their blessing, the light returns to the heart of Vajrasattva above our head and merges with him. Now Vajrasattva is the purifying force of all Buddhas. Nectar flows from HUNG and cleanses everything bad and harmful that we have ever done, said or thought, nectar also cleanses us from the consequences of breaking and damaging the samaya. We sincerely repent and wish that all the bad karma collected over countless lives by us and other sentient beings will be completely purified. Visualizing the syllable and mantra and how the nectar purifies us, we recite the hundred-syllable mantra as much as we can.]

In conclusion we say:

LAMA GONPO KYAB DZO CHIG

TSOVO DORJE JINPA NI

THUGJE CHENPOY DAGNYI CHEN

Feeling strong repentance, we say:

KU SUNG THUG TSAVA DANG YANG LAGGY DAM TsIG NYAM CHAG THAM CHE THOL SHING SHAGSO

I openly acknowledge all violations and non-observances of the root samaya and its branches, samaya of body, speech and mind.

DIG DRib NYE TUNGDRI MEI TsOG TAM CHE JANG SHING DAG PAR JIE DU SOL

Please cleanse all my accumulated non-virtues, obscurations, downfalls and defilements.

SHEE SOLWA TAB PE LAMA DORJE SEMPA

Hearing the words of the prayer, Guru Vajrasattva becomes extremely happy.

GYESHINGDZUMPA DANGCHE PE RIGKYI BU

With a smile on his face he says: “Son (daughter) of a noble family,

Forgiving me, Vajrasattva dissolves into light,

RANGLA THIM PE RANGNYI KYANG

which dissolves in me,

PAL DORJE SEMPEY KUR GYUR

And I become Glorious Vajrasattva.

We imagine that all non-virtuous deeds and obscurations have been purified, and broken and damaged samayas have been restored. [When performing this practice, we count the number of hundred-syllable mantras pronounced.

Then we immediately move on to the next practice - mandala offerings.]

Mandala offering

[To perform this practice we need two mandala disks. It is desirable that these mandalas be made of precious metals. The mandala that is larger, more beautiful and more valuable is placed on the altar and represents Refuge. We hold another mandala in our hand. If we do not have a mandala, we can do the practice using the mandala offering mudra. We also need white, shiny, preferably long rice, which can be colored with food coloring in the colors of the five Buddha families. You can add small precious and semi-precious stones, glass beads, small pieces of gold and silver, medicinal herbs, mendrub and small shells to the rice.

Holding the mandala and rosary in the left hand, holding the visualization of the objects of refuge and offerings, we recite the prayer and mantra as much as we can:]

OM A HUNG

KHAM SUM NOCHU PALJOR DANG

Three realms, peace and beings, glory and prosperity,

DAGLU LONGCHO GE TSOGKUN

Body, wealth, pleasures and all my virtue

THUG JAY DAGNYI NAM LA BUL

I offer to the lords of compassion.

STILL NOT JIN GYI LAB TU SOL

Having accepted them, grant your blessing!

OM SARVA TATHAGATA RATNA MANDALA PUJA HO

[At the same time, we add handfuls of rice in the following order:

1. The center of the mandala is Mount Sumeru.

2. The upper part of the mandala, farthest from us, is the eastern continent of Lupag (Purvavideha).

3. Right - the southern continent of Dzambu (Dzhambudvipa).

4. The lower part is the western continent of Balangcho (Godania).

5. Left - the northern continent of Dramignen (Uttarakuru).

6. Above, behind Lupag is the Sun.

7. Below, beyond Balangcho is the Moon.

While reciting the mantra, we mentally create and offer Mount Sumeru, the four continents, the wealth of gods and people in an amount equal to the number of atoms in the universe - this is an offering to the external mandala.

We also offer our own body, consisting of aggregates, elements and sense organs, along with pleasures - this is the inner mandala. Combining all this with the view of the uncreatedness of the three realms is the secret mandala.

We make offerings to these three mandalas simultaneously as many times as we can. If we make an offering using a special mudra, then after pronouncing the mantra we separate our fingers, and then again make the mudra and say a prayer.

Finally, we say one prayer and imagine that the entire field of offerings is dissolving into light, and that light is dissolving into us. While doing the practice, we count the number of mandalas offered. Next we move on to the practice of Guru Yoga.]

Guru Yoga of Padmasambhava

[This practice is divided into three parts. 1. We practice the external level in the form of prayer. With single-pointed devotion, we contemplate Guru Rinpoche before us in the form of Orgyen Totreng Tsal, surrounded by the Supreme Refuge Assembly, and say once:]

RANG DUN NAM KHAR CHO TRIN GYA TSOI U

In the sky before me, amidst the clouds of an ocean of offerings

SENG THREE PEMA NYIDA TSEGPEI TENG

On the lion throne, lotus, sun and moon -

KYABNE KUNDU ORGYEN TOTRENG TSAL

Orgyen Totreng Tsal, the embodiment of all objects of Refuge.

SHCHAL CHIG CHAGNYI TRO DZUM ZI O BAR

He has two hands, one face with an angry smile, blazing with splendor,

CAVE SANGPO CHO GO ZAB BER SOL

In a lotus crown, robes of secret and dharma and a brocade cloak,

CHAGE DORJE YON PE THO BOOM NAM

In the right hand - a vajra, in the left - a dripping vessel,

SANGWAY CHAGGYA BAY TSOOL KHATVANG QU

He embraces the secret mudra, hidden in the form of a trident.

SHAB NYI ROL TAB JA TSON O NGE LONG

His two legs are in a royal pose, he (is) in the space of five rays and rainbows.

RABJAM TSAVA SUM GYI TRIN PHUNGTRO

From it emanate ridges of clouds of all-encompassing three roots.

NANGSI PALDEN LAMEI NGO VOR GYUR

Everything that appears and exists is the essence of the majestic Guru.

[We do this visualization to receive blessings. Then, with passionate aspiration and devotion, we read the prayer as many times as we can. In this practice we count the number of repetitions of a given prayer:]

DUSUM SANGYE GURU RINPOCHE

Buddha of Three Times, Guru Rinpoche,

NGODRUB KUNDAGDEVA CHENPOISCHAB

Lord of all siddhis, Great Bliss,

BARCE KUNSEL DUDUL DRAGPO TsAL

Remover of all obstacles Wrathful Demon Subduer,

SOLWA DEBSO JIN GYI LABTU SOL

I pray you, grant your blessing,

CHI NANGSANGWE BARCHE SHIWA DANG

Calm external, internal and secret obstacles,

SAMPA LHUN GYI DRUB PAR JIN GYI LOB

I pray that all your wishes will be spontaneously fulfilled!

We practice at the internal level in the form of recitation.

By performing such a prayer, from the three centers of each deity of the entire assembly of deities, innumerable rainbows, rays and crucibles of light, like specks of dust in a sunbeam, are emanated, taking the form of deities, seed syllables and attributes such as vajras, stupas, chakras, khatvangas, lotuses , jewelry, swords, etc., and all this dissolves in me. This is how I receive each and every empowerment, blessing and siddhi.

Imagining the described visualization, we repeat the mantra:

OM A HUNG BEZAR GURU PEMA SIDDHI HUNG

At the end of the session, we imagine that the entire retinue dissolves into the Great Guru from Uddiyana, who embodies the Three Roots and all objects of Refuge. From its four centers appear rays of white, red, blue and a ray of all three colors simultaneously. They dissolve into our four centers and we receive the four initiations. With this visualization we say:

PALDEN LAMEI KU YI NEY SHIPPED SHIPPING NEY

From the four centers of the majestic Guru

OZER JUNG WA DAG GI NE SHIR THIM

Rays of light emanate and dissolve in my four centers,

KU SUNG THUG DANG YESHE DORJE YI

Granting the blessings of the Vajra Body, Speech, Mind and Primordial Knowledge,

JIN GYI LAB NEY VANG SHI THOBPAR GYUR

And I receive four initiations.

Secret level - we practice absolute Guru Yoga without complications as the performance of actions:

LAMA ORGYEN CHENPO NYI

Great Guru from Uddiyana

GYEPA CHEN POY RANGLA THIM

With great joy he dissolves in me.

RANG YANG KUN SOI MACHO PEI

And I (abide) in the uncreated all-ground

NGANG LA YI NI JINPA DREL

When the mind is free from clinging, it is

NAMDAG TRODREL CHO KYI KU

Perfect purity, Dharmakaya, free from mental constructions.

By saying and thinking this way, we look into the inherent natural face of awareness and emptiness, which is free from any mental constructs in the three times. While in this state, we train, following the paths of the main part of practice, as well as the stages of development and completion. When it is time to return to everyday activities, we say:

HO RIGZIN LAMEY KYILKHOR DRUBPE TU

Ho Thanks to the implementation of the Vidyadhara Guru mandala

DAG DANG THA E SEMCHEN MALU KUN

May I and all the countless living beings without exception

TIN LE NAM SHI LHUN GYI DRUB PA DANG

Spontaneously perform four types of deeds

O SEL CHO KUI YINGSU DROL VAR SHOG

And let us free ourselves in the radiant clarity of the Dharmakaya space.

TSA GYU LAMEI JIN LAB NYINGLA SHUG

May the blessings of the root Guru and lineage Guru enter my heart,

YIDAM KHANDRO LU DANG DRib SCHIN DROG

Yidams and dakinis accompany me like a shadow body,

CHOKYONG SUNGME BARCHE KUNSEL NE

Dharma Protectors and Guardians will remove all obstacles,

CHOG THUN NGODRUB DRUBPE TASHI SHOG

And there will be good luck in achieving higher and ordinary siddhis!

We completely dedicate the roots of virtue to supreme enlightenment. We end the practice with perfect and pure aspirations and train ourselves to spend time between practice sessions in accordance with the Dharma.

What are the barriers to effective prayer?

The most obvious obstacle to effective prayer is the presence of unconfessed sins in the heart of the person praying. Since our God is holy, a barrier arises between Him and us when we come to Him with unconfessed sins. “But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have turned His face away from you, so that He cannot be heard” (Isaiah 59:2). David confirms this, knowing from personal experience that God is far from the one who tries to hide his sin: “If I saw iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not hear me” (Psalm 67:18).

The Bible mentions some areas of sin that hinder effective prayer. First, when we live according to the flesh and not according to the Spirit, our desire to pray and our ability to communicate effectively with God are impaired. Although we gain a new nature by being born again, it continues to dwell in the old flesh, and this old “shell” is corrupt and sinful. The flesh can regain control of our actions, thoughts, and motives if we are persistent in “putting to death the deeds of the body” (Romans 8:13) and are guided by the Spirit in our relationship with God. Only then will our prayer be effective.

Life according to the flesh also manifests itself in selfishness - another obstacle to effective prayer. When our prayers are motivated by selfishness, when we ask God for what we need and not for Him, it hinders our prayer. “And this is the boldness we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us” (1 John 5:14). To ask according to God's will is to ask in submission to it, whether we know it or not. As in all things, Jesus should be our example in prayer. He always prayed according to His Father's will: “Not my will, but yours, be done” (Luke 22:42). Selfish prayers are always aimed at satisfying our own desires, and we should not expect God's answer to such prayers. “You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your lusts” (James 4:3).

Living according to selfish, carnal desires also leads to cruelty towards other people. If we are indifferent to the needs of others, we should not expect God to be indifferent to our needs. When we come to God in prayer, we should be concerned, first of all, with His will. Secondly, it should be the needs of others, based on the fact that a true believer considers others better than himself and is concerned about their interests more than his own (Philippians 2:3-4).

A serious obstacle to effective prayer is the spirit of unforgiveness. When we refuse to forgive others, a root of bitterness grows in our hearts and drowns out our prayers. How can we expect God to shower His blessings on us, undeserving sinners, if we harbor hatred and bitterness towards others? This principle is beautifully illustrated in the parable recorded in Matthew 18:23-35. God has forgiven us an incalculable debt (our sin), so He expects us to forgive others. Failure to do so will hinder our prayers.

Another obstacle to effective prayer is unbelief and doubt. This does not mean, as some believe, that if we come to God with absolute conviction of His answer to our requests, He will certainly grant them. To pray without doubt means to pray in full faith and understanding of God's character, nature, and purposes. “And without faith it is impossible to please God; For he who comes to God must believe that He exists and is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him” (Hebrews 11:6). When we come to God in prayer doubting His character, purposes, and promises, we offend Him greatly. We must have confidence in His ability to satisfy any request that meets His will and purposes for our lives. We must pray with the understanding that whatever His purposes are, they are our best. “But let him ask in faith, without doubting at all, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, lifted and tossed by the wind. Let such a person not think that he will receive anything from the Lord” (James 1:6-7).

After all, interpersonal differences are also a definite obstacle to prayer. The Apostle Peter specifically mentions this as an obstacle to the prayers of a husband who is disrespectful to his wife. “In the same way, husbands, treat your wives wisely, as the weaker vessel, showing them honor, as heirs together of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered” (1 Peter 3:7). When there is serious conflict in the family and the head of the house does not show the attitude mentioned by Peter, the husband's prayerful fellowship with God is broken. Likewise, wives should follow the biblical principles of submitting to the leadership of their husbands so that their own prayers are not disturbed (Ephesians 5:22-24).

Fortunately, all these obstacles can be easily removed by coming to God in prayer of confession and repentance. In 1 John 1:9 the apostle assures us, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Once we do this, we will enjoy a clear and open channel of communication with God, and our prayers will not only be heard and answered, but our heart will be filled with a deep sense of joy.
