General Instructions

• Before using the heating boiler, please read this manual.
• Installation work, instruction for operation, commissioning, preventive maintenance and repair of the boiler are carried out by a specialized organization and the local gas management department in accordance with the “safety rules for gas distribution and gas consumption systems” approved by the State Technical Supervision Authority of the Russian Federation, and building codes and regulations SNIP 11-35 -76; SNIP 2.04.05-91 of the State Construction Committee of the Russian Federation, according to the project for installing the boiler and mandatory completion of the control coupon.
• The installed boiler can be put into operation only after its acceptance by gas industry specialists, instructions from the owner and the mandatory completion of an installation control coupon (page 21 of the operating manual)
• Checking and cleaning the chimney, repairing and monitoring the water heating system are carried out by the boiler owner. When replacing an old boiler with low efficiency with a modern one, you must pay special attention to the design of your chimney. When the boiler efficiency is below 80-85%, the flue gas temperature is about 200 °C, which ensures good draft even with a poorly insulated chimney. With an efficiency of 90%, the temperature of the flue gases drops to 110-120 °C, and, in the case of an outdated chimney, the draft disappears, which leads to the automatic operation and shutdown of the boiler. Failure statistics show that 94% of boiler problems are caused by an incorrectly installed chimney.
• Natural ventilation must be provided in the room in which the boiler is installed. It is prohibited to cover ventilation duct grilles.
• The use of boilers at hazardous production facilities is prohibited.

Installation, preparation for work

• The volume of the room in which the boiler is installed must be at least 8 m3. The distance between the boiler lining and the walls must be at least:
• Natural ventilation must be provided in the room in which the boiler is installed.
• When installing the boiler to the heating network, it is necessary to lay a sheet of non-flammable heat-insulating material on the floor, a sheet of iron on top, and install the boiler on it.
• The connections of the boiler to the heating system and the gas main must be threaded, allowing the boiler to be disconnected if necessary. If the boiler is installed to replace an old boiler, it is necessary to flush the pipelines and radiators of the heating system to remove rust deposits, scale and sediment. If these requirements are not met, deposit products (rust, sediment) are transferred to the boiler, which significantly complicates the circulation of the coolant and reduces the heat transfer of the boiler. In this case, claims regarding the temperature indicators of the coolant during boiler operation are not accepted by the manufacturer.
• If the heat consumption of the room is increased (the thickness of the external walls of the house, the integrity of windows and doors, the distribution of pipes of the heating system in attics, attics that are not insulated, its area is exceeded or the coolant capacity is significantly exceeded - the number of radiators, pipes) from those established by the standards, the temperature of the coolant may not reach 80 °C, which does not mean the boiler is defective.

The steel convection non-volatile gas atmospheric boiler Lemax Premium 40 is designed for heating apartments, residential buildings, cottages and administrative buildings equipped with a water heating system with natural circulation. With standard house insulation, a power of 40 kW is enough to heat a house of about 400 square meters. To remove combustion products, a chimney with a diameter of 140 mm is required. The Premium 40 model runs on natural gas and is supplied assembled with a gas burner device based on the Italian automatic 820 NOVA. Advantages of a boiler with a gas valve 820 NOVA SIT: the temperature regulator is located on the front panel of the boiler with temperature indication, which allows you to accurately select the optimal thermal mode; connection of a room thermostat (optional), with which you can regulate the boiler temperature relative to the indoor temperature; work together with a turbo nozzle for forced removal of exhaust gases (optional); soft start system. In the production of Lemax Premium series boilers, high-quality steel 2 mm thick, grade DC01, is used, which allows you to operate the device much longer. In Lemax Premium series gas boilers, installation work, operating instructions, commissioning, preventive maintenance and repair of equipment are carried out only by specially trained, qualified personnel of service centers or employees of the local gas management department in accordance with the “safety rules for gas distribution and gas consumption systems”, according to the boiler installation project. Checking and cleaning the chimney, repairing and monitoring the water heating system are carried out by the boiler owner. Natural ventilation must be provided in the room in which the presented model is installed. To convert this equipment from natural to liquefied gas, you will need a “conversion kit” (nozzle + injector). You cannot use injectors (nozzles) designed for natural gas to operate on liquefied (propane-butane) gas, as this leads to improper combustion and failure of the boiler.
