Which drill is better, bison or interskol? Electric planer: description of the tool, comparison of models Makita, Interskol, Zubr, Bosch Grinder bison or interskol what to choose

Why does choosing a hammer drill put the hobbyist in a difficult position? We most often approach the issue based on a certain budget. Upon closer examination, in addition to cost and power, new criteria for comparison open up. Among others, the location of the drive, the number of operating modes, and this is only a small part of the parameters that should be taken into account. We have compiled a rating of the most reliable rotary hammers for 2019-2020. We hope that you will find an instrument that will become a faithful friend for many years to come.

The chance of choosing the ideal option increases if you remember that externally similar models can differ significantly even in terms of maintenance, despite their power and weight.

Criterias of choice Criteria options Basic properties and purposes of options
Weight up to 3 kg Lightweight and convenient models for solving a limited list of tasks
3-5 kg A tool with universal functionality
from 5 kg Highly specialized heavy hammer drills
Electric drive location Vertical Has a positive effect on engine and gearbox cooling. As a result, models with a vertical engine have some endurance.
Horizontal The horizontal arrangement guarantees a high level of comfort when working with the hammer drill.
Power supply type Network Always ready for work, adequate combination of cost and performance
Rechargeable All possible losses (from impact force to operating time) are fully compensated by mobility
Fastening system for drills, chisels and peaks SDS+ A common option, for a shank with a diameter of 10 mm
SDS-max Professional equipment for sds equipment with an 18 mm base
Operating modes Drilling Regular hammer drill set. The absence of the first or last function is not an indicator of low-grade equipment. Because rational decisions of manufacturers make it possible to eliminate unaffordable or unclaimed operations for a specific tool
Impact drilling
Chiseling
Accessories and features Thrust handle Thanks to the ability to change its position, a high level of safety is achieved during operation.
Limiter-depth gauge Prevents excessive drill immersion
Set of drills, lance, chisel A set of different combinations of these elements makes the hammer drill a universal tool
Replaceable or additional (quick-release, key) chuck with SDS+ adapter
Control electronics Control of the number of revolutions and impact frequency
Safety clutch When the drill jams, it stops transmitting torque from the motor to the shaft
Reverse Equally effective rotation of equipment in different directions
Trigger lock Facilitation of labor when mixing building mixtures
Backlight Increases the accuracy of work performed
Dust removal system Passive (basic configuration) or forced – additional equipment. For many models, this function is preventive in nature (nozzles directing air flow over the drill) preventing debris from entering the tool and the user

Power consumption should be taken into account when working in conditions of unstable power supply. When choosing a hammer drill for working on brick and lightweight concrete, you should pay attention to the power and frequency of impact, and shaft rotation indicators. The table below will help you get a good idea of the models in different price categories.

Budget tool - for rare jobs

It is advisable to choose inexpensive hammer drills if the intended minor work is not of a permanent nature. In this case, the efficiency of use and service life of the tool will please every amateur.

1. KRÜGER 1400 W - 4490 rub.

The KRUGER electric rotary hammer impresses with its impact-resistant housing and rich equipment. The product is distinguished by its ergonomics and thoughtful design:

  • the powerful engine will last a long time and will help solve many household problems;
  • several operating modes, DFR and SDS+ cartridges make the tool universal;
  • a switch with an accelerator function allows you to smoothly adjust the drilling speed;
  • switch lock ensures convenience during long-term operation;
  • reverse simplifies working with complex materials;
  • an additional handle makes the device more ergonomic;
  • The power cable is located where it belongs - it will not interfere with work

The kit includes the hammer drill itself, an additional keyless chuck, an additional rubberized handle and depth gauge, 3 drills, a pick and a drill.

2. Hammer PRT 650 A – RUB 3,999.

If you do not take into account the persistent smell of chemical modifiers responsible for the strength of the plastic, then the capabilities of the PRT 650 A model from Hammer definitely deserve respect. Impact energy and small (but effectively reducing recoil during impact drilling) weight play a huge role in the formation of potential.

Overall, it’s a worthy tool that allows you to hang a chandelier and cornice yourself, knock old tiles off the walls and floor, and secure baseboards.

Theoretically, the PRT 650 A, with its set of bits, should also cope with the transfer of electrical points in the apartment. But, judging by the reviews, chipping on a large scale negatively affects the performance of a budget hammer drill. While infrequent use allows you to count on a fairly long service life.

Among other things, a reluctance to understand the instructions leads to misconceptions about a Chinese-assembled tool. The same well-known “shortcoming” associated with the haphazard disappearance of the impact is caused by the design features of the impact mechanism and appears in those users who allow operation in drilling mode with impact, without load. This problem is not a warranty case and can be “treated” by sharply lowering the drill installed in the chuck once.

3. DeFort DRH-800N-K – 3350 rub.

As the practical experience of the owners shows, the capabilities of this model cover the needs of the average user. The impact energy of 3.3 J and 3.3 kg of weight at low speeds allow you to quickly make holes not only for a picture or for a TV bracket. Even apartment renovations performed with the DRH-800N-K will not take much time.

  • 3 drills, a chisel and a pick included, for full operation in each available mode;
  • electronic speed control allows you to change the rotation speed (a necessary measure for comfortable work on tiles, bricks and metal);
  • the presence of reverse determines the ability to change the direction of rotation of the equipment without loss of power. Allows you to immediately remove a stuck drill;
  • spacious plastic suitcase.

This set from DeFort is easy to work with and very easy to store construction tools.

4. Interskol P 22 620 ER – 3443 rub.

Absolutely all the work that you have to deal with in your own home and country house can be done with the Interskol P 22 620 ER rotary hammer. The only thing that can somewhat darken the user’s mood is the 2 operating modes of the tool. But it should be understood that the absence of a chiselling mode is critical for a professional (it is not possible to perform chiselling for wiring and widening openings in reinforced concrete slabs). For an amateur to independently decorate his home and subsequently maintain the premises in a presentable form, the capabilities of the P 22 620 ER are sufficient:

  • Adjusting the speed and reverse allows you to abandon the use of a drill and easily remove equipment jammed in concrete.
  • Fixing the trigger is responsible for convenience in the process of mixing solutions.
  • The safety clutch protects the operator's hands and face from unexpected blows when the drill jams.
  • The SDS+ system ensures quick replacement of drills (chisels, picks) in the chuck.

5. BORT BHD-900 – 4168 rub.

The technologies introduced into this horizontal hammer drill make it possible to carry out finishing work indoors at a relatively low cost, without focusing on the material of the walls. This argument is supported by:

  • presence of reverse
  • key chuck (with SDS+ adapter)
  • the presence of three modes (drilling with and without impact, chiselling).

And if you exclude contact of a working drill with reinforcement (for example, using a hidden wiring scanner), then the potential of the BORT BHD-900 model will be sufficient for through drilling of interior reinforced concrete slabs.

Despite the claimed impressive performance, this tool is not intended to work with either unstressed or, especially, impact drills. In everyday conditions, the same sub-sieves are drilled with a small-diameter drill in a circle, after which the resulting “sieve” is broken with a chisel.

6. Hyundai H 850 – 4503 rub.

The model, initially positioned as a household tool in the middle price segment, can only formally (because it costs up to 5,000 rubles) be classified as a budget hammer drill. Indeed, thanks to the presence

  • reverse,
  • 3 full-fledged operating modes and an additional function that expands the chiselling capabilities,
  • electronic speed control (trigger),

This device is capable of not only chiseling and drilling, but also drilling quite well. The ability to lock the spindle for a “clean” blow in a certain position (the 4th function, which with drilling options is immortalized by a massive bas-relief “4 functions”) - brings the Hyundai H 850 as close as possible to a consistently popular middle-class tool.

It is known that domestic consumers have a negative attitude towards the drills that come with this model. But here it should be understood that this equipment is a consumable material, even if it is not of very high quality. And coupled with a relatively short power cable and a mediocre case, this manufacturer’s approach can be regarded as an excellent attempt to reduce the cost of the kit without significantly compromising the quality of the tool.

Middle class - a reliable tool for amateurs and professionals

No category of construction power tools is as popular as middle-class rotary hammers. After all, the opportunity to hold in your hands the products of world-famous companies, as well as the ratio of cost and potential, do not leave either amateurs or professionals indifferent.

7. Bison Salary 900 EK – 5100 rub.

Based on the design features and thanks to the set of implemented technologies, the Zubr ZP 900 EK rotary hammer is considered to be an analogue of expensive professional equipment. After all, there is everything here that is somehow implemented in a branded tool.

  • Keyless chuck (SDS+) with dust protection,
  • metal housing of the impact mechanism,
  • sophisticated anti-vibration system,
  • the handles are made of materials that prevent the tool from slipping during operation,
  • 3 standard operating modes,

reinforced by a small 5 kilograms of weight and a vertical position of the electric motor, they bring the ZP 900 EK to the level of a good household tool. Even with a claim to professional operation. After all, for this model the loads are not critical either when working with a drill with a diameter of up to 28 mm, or with non-impact bits, or during the grating process.

8. DeWalt D25103K – 7031 rub.

Thanks to the cost of the D25103K horizontal rotary hammer, the potential of professional equipment has become accessible to the average amateur. This means that independent performance of a wide range of repair and finishing work will not be overshadowed

  • frequent engine overheating, requiring prolonged rest
  • unstable operation of the impact mechanism (due to design features and, at the same time, an easily solvable problem in most models of inexpensive tools)
  • injuries received during operation.

The reasons for this are, respectively:

  • low shaft speed
  • design features of the impact bolt that prevent it from jamming when operating without load
  • the presence of a safety clutch that stops the transmission of torque to the shaft immediately when the drill, chisel or lance is blocked.

Thus, domestic consumers will never lose interest in a worthy branded instrument, even one made in China (which only affects the final cost).

9. Bosch PBN 300 FRE – 7068 rub.

Like most mid-range models, the PBN 300 FRE comes in a plastic case, with an auxiliary handle, a depth stop, a set of branded bits, a chisel and a quick-release chuck for regular drills. But such possibilities as:

  • work with crowns (up to 68 mm in diameter), which allows you to minimize the time for preparing places for sockets and switches;
  • adjusting the number of revolutions, which makes it possible to avoid chipping the plaster when drilling, and correctly (without aerating the solution) mix 20-25 kg of dry mixture with water;
  • safety clutch, which reduces the risk of injury if a drill or bit gets jammed during operation of the tool,

and others, indicate that this hammer drill belongs to the professional models. And only the price reminds you that this is a middle-class instrument. Theoretically, this is the possibility of long-term use in domestic conditions. But in fact, domestic professionals use such a tool quite often. Since, with a proportionate load and timely maintenance, even the “green” series from Bosch is capable of showing decent results throughout its entire service life.

10. AEG KH24E – 7300 rub.

The 2009 restyling did not affect the appearance of the KH24E; the main changes were made to the “filling” of the instrument. For example, in the updated models the impact force was slightly reduced, which increased the accuracy and duration of work. Thanks to this, this hammer drill is suitable

  • amateur, because in order to use the full potential of the model, it will take more than one year and a wide range of interests (the manufacturer allows work on wood, metal, concrete)
  • a professional who will come up with the need for the first maintenance in about a year (the service life of the new KH24E has increased due to the reduction in power).

At the same time, each of them will appreciate the elastic coating of the handle, the ability to adjust the speed by pressing the trigger, and the presence of a quick-release chuck with a shank included in the kit.

11. Makita HR2470 – 7469 rub.

The ease of working with Makita horizontal rotary hammers, proven in practice, is also inherent in the 2470 model. Relatively low weight with sufficient impact force and smooth adjustment of shaft speed are successfully complemented by comfortable handles with anti-slip coating and a full range of operating functions

The existing ability to fix the bit in one of 40 preset positions reduces labor intensity and increases the accuracy of the chiselling process.

The SDS+ system ensures quick drill replacement. The permissible parameters of processed wood, steel and concrete fully cover the needs of home or country repairs. Therefore, model 2470 is in demand not only by amateurs, but also by professionals specializing in finishing work.

Professional tool – precision and comfort in work

The high cost of a professional power tool does not imply its ability to withstand extreme loads. It guarantees only precision in every process, ease of use in any situation and a long service life.

12. Makita HR2450FT – 7948 rub.

While similar in appearance to other models in this line, the 2450FT rotary hammer differs in that its potential is worthy of professional use. This is supported by:

  • permission to work with crowns with a diameter of up to 65 mm
  • optimal ratio of power and impact frequency for finishing work
  • presence of work area illumination
  • system for quick replacement of the SDS+ chuck with a quick-release chuck for a conventional drill
  • the presence of a safety clutch and anti-slip inserts under the arm.

The implementation of the reverse function in this model also deserves special attention - when switching the direction of rotation, a mechanical limitation of the trigger displacement occurs. Due to this, the reverse rotation speed does not exceed half of that declared by the manufacturer.

14. Hitachi DH24PC3 – 8876 rub.

Professionals claim that the accuracy of the Hitachi dh24pc3 rotary hammer is ensured not only due to a synchronous increase in the impact frequency and shaft rotation speed.

  • Correct tool balancing
  • light weight
  • ergonomic handles with rubber inserts
  • convenient control of three operating modes and reverse function,

also have a significant impact on the precision of the workflow.

The absence of any drills or additional cartridges in the package is another point that indicates that the hammer drill is intended for professional use. All necessary equipment is always purchased for a specific type of work. Therefore, Hitachi dh24pc3 is equipped with only a spacious suitcase, an additional handle and a drilling depth limiter.

15. Bosch GBH 2-28 DFV Professional – RUB 10,495.

The declared potential of the GBH 2-28 DFV is supported by the design features of the model. These include systems that provide

  • quick cartridge replacement,
  • fixing the bit in any position,
  • reduction of tool vibration,
  • blocking torque without stopping the engine when the nozzle jams.

It should be remembered that the configuration of this hammer drill will suit only professionals. Because the absence of a drill, chisel or pick is not critical for this category of craftsmen. Each has its own specifics of work, and therefore its own set of equipment. But from a set of

  • 2 quick-release chucks (one for drills, with a smooth shank, up to 13 mm in diameter, the other with an SDS+ clamp),

16. Interskol PA-10/14.4R-2 – 7529 rub.

The modest capabilities of the PA-10/14.4R cordless hammer drill (drilling with and without impact) are compensated by its minimal dimensions and sufficient impact energy. According to practicing professionals, this combination of performance characteristics allows high-quality holes to be made in wood, metal and concrete.

  • A pair of batteries is enough to work without long breaks for recharging (the potential of one is 25 holes 8x50 mm).
  • The electronic motor brake prevents the drill or drill from rotating due to inertia. Stopping the rotation the moment the master releases the trigger.
  • The backlight helps you see possible mistakes when drilling in poorly lit or hard-to-reach places.
  • A three-section indicator indicates the current battery charge level.

Editor's Choice

Despite the objective difficulty of choosing the best model, it is worth noting the capabilities of the Hammer PRT 650 A - its low cost and decent performance distinguish this instrument from its closest budget-class competitors.

In the middle price segment, the Makita 2470 and AEG KH24E will cope equally effectively with the needs of amateurs and the demands of specialists. Some will certainly be satisfied with the current price of branded models, while others will make a choice based on its potential.

Any task related to the repair and decoration of premises can be accomplished by every rotary hammer from the professional segment. But those who make money in construction consider accuracy and ease of use, rather than versatility or price, to be the basis for choosing the right tool. From these positions, compliance is observed with both the Hitachi DH24PC3 and the Bosch GBH 2-28 DFV Professional, and the battery-powered Interskol PA-10/14.4R-2, as a lightweight “dowel rod”, is generally beyond competition.

Summary

No matter how attractive this or that model may be to you, you should not make quick conclusions. Only a thorough analysis of your needs and the potential of the rotary hammers available on the local market will determine a worthwhile investment in a construction tool.

Carrying out repairs requires the use of certain power tools. Need to make a hole in wood or metal, or screw in a screw? A universal device will help you do this quickly and efficiently - the best corded drill-screwdriver, which combines the functions of both these devices and an electric screwdriver. Such products do not require battery replacement and are cheaper than their counterparts. But given that there are so many of them on the market, it’s quite easy to make a mistake in your choice. Our rating will help prevent this from happening.

The best corded drills and screwdrivers - which company to choose

The leaders were predominantly manufacturers from Russia, operating in the budget, medium and expensive price ranges. Of the foreign firms, only two Japanese representatives competed with them.

The list of reliable brands includes:

  • Diold is a Russian trademark under which power tools are created. All developments belong to domestic engineers, and assembly is carried out mainly in China. For the first time, the products of this brand were released in 1992; they have certificates of conformity from the State Standard of Russia.
  • Stavr is a Russian company that creates power tools specifically for the needs of the Russian market and other CIS countries. The emphasis is on the increased service life of products, which allows them to serve effectively and for a long time.
  • Bison is a fairly popular and large Russian brand with its own factories, laboratories, warehouses and stores. The company has a good quality service, which reduces the likelihood of equipment failure.
  • Hitachi is a Japanese conglomerate founded in 1910. The company introduced power tools to its product range back in 1957. Until now, it holds the leading position in the world in its sales.
  • Interskol is another Russian company producing power tools, which differs from its competitors in its low percentage of product returns under warranty, cooperation with the best European factories in its field and a developed network of service centers.
  • Makita- the second Japanese manufacturer of electric and gas tools, operating since 1935. The main sales market is in Western Europe, but products are also in demand in Eastern Europe.

Rating of the best networked drills and screwdrivers

The key role was played by the opinion of users who share it in their reviews. Most of them are positive statements, although there are also complaints. When compiling the rating, this was taken into account primarily; then we paid attention to the following indicators:

  • Duration of warranty;
  • Availability of service centers for product maintenance;
  • Build quality;
  • Ease of use;
  • Noise level during operation;
  • Type of tool and chuck;
  • Drilling diameter;
  • Power;
  • Functions and capabilities (presence of a mixer, dust collector, reverse, etc.);
  • Weight and dimensions;
  • Number of operating speeds.

The choice was influenced by the popularity of the brand, the availability of the product, and its cost.

The best inexpensive corded drills and screwdrivers: up to 1,500 rubles.

At this price it is difficult to find very powerful models on the market, mostly their limit is 400 W. Problems may also arise with the drilling diameter; you can count on a maximum of 2.5 cm (for wood). There are unlikely to be many speeds here either; one or two is the ceiling. But otherwise, this is a very good tool for non-professional use.

Diold ESH-0.26N

Not the most powerful tool, it consumes a maximum of 260 W, but this is quite enough for working with wood and metal. Only one speed is not impressive, so the process takes a lot of time. The drilling diameter ranges from 0.1 to 2.5 cm, depending on the type of material. Taking this into account, the rotation speed is adjusted, which at maximum idle speed cannot exceed 800 rpm. It is not afraid of the drill being pinched in the material due to the presence of reverse. Suitable for working with screws up to 6 mm in diameter. The product is protected from accidental activation by a locking button.

Advantages:

  • Long cord;
  • Low price;
  • Light and small;
  • Takes both wood and steel.

Flaws:

  • The factory wire needs to be replaced over time;
  • After a certain period of time, it is often necessary to replace the electrical plug;
  • Heats up quickly and cools down for a long time;
  • Not suitable for difficult work.

Cost – 1100 rub.

Stavr DShS-10/400-2C

This is the best corded drill/driver suitable for home use, but professionals will find it weak due to its 400 W power. Compared to the same Diold ESH-0.26N, the drill rotates faster, with a frequency of 1000 rpm. High-quality and convenient work is ensured by smooth speed adjustment, which allows you to screw in screws without kinks. The device can be called universal; it drills both wood and metal with a diameter of 25 mm and 10 mm, respectively. Thanks to the certainly not short network cable, you can work without carrying it, because its length is 3 m.

The manufacturer has equipped the product with reverse and electronic speed control, although many reviews indicate that it does not work entirely correctly. Weighing 1.3 kg, the model is quite compact and easy to use.

Advantages:

  • Cheap;
  • Does not depend on batteries;
  • Good power;
  • Lightweight;
  • Fits comfortably in the hand;
  • The cord is long enough.

Flaws:

  • Doesn't wash well;
  • Light, quickly becomes dirty;
  • In the first months, the cord sheath may burst at the point of entry into the housing;
  • Plastic smells bad;
  • Poor engine airflow;
  • There is no backlight, although the manufacturer refers to it.

Be careful, sometimes in the Stavr DShS-10/400-2C model there is a defect - there is no electronic speed control.

Cost – 1380 rub.

Here you can download Stavr DShS-10/400-2C

Bison ZSSh-300-2

This is a corded drill-driver of medium power (300 W), light weight (1.6 kg) and small dimensions. It has everything to do the job efficiently and without discomfort - a limiting clutch, multi-stage and adjustable torque, convenient for a screwdriver, a quick-release chuck, a long cable (5 m) and speed control. You should focus on two speeds, to switch between which there is a button on the body. You shouldn’t expect much from this device; the maximum number of revolutions is 400 per minute, but this is quite enough to perform simple tasks.

Advantages:

  • Long warranty (up to 5 years);
  • Multiple speeds;
  • Long cable;
  • Many stages of torque;
  • Easily accessible speed switch.

Flaws:

  • The light-colored body quickly becomes dirty;
  • Not the most powerful;
  • Sometimes a defect occurs in the form of a cracking sound from the cartridge during operation;
  • In rare cases, the chuck jams.

Rating on a 5-point scale: 4.6.

Zubr ZSSh-300-2 is available here.

Better corded drills and screwdrivers of average cost: from 1,500 rubles.

Here 3 models stood out, although their power is not the highest. The leaders were products from the brands Interskol, Hitachi and Makita. Devices of this price are characterized by greater freedom of speed adjustment and ergonomics.

Interskol DSh-10/320E2

This is a two-speed tool that operates at 320 watts. Despite the small numbers, it passes through the densest wood and thick sheets of metal without any problems, creating a hole with a diameter of 20 mm and 10 mm, respectively. This is slightly lower than competitors. In one minute, at the first speed, the cartridge makes 400 revolutions, and at the second – 1800. According to these indicators, this model is the undisputed leader. In reviews, users complain about the short power cord, the length of which does not exceed 2 m. The adjustable tightening torque positions are 20 + 1 (21), which is less than usual.

Advantages:

  • Services respond quickly to breakdowns;
  • Good ergonomics;
  • Rubberized handle;
  • Replacing brushes on the motor without opening the housing;
  • The cord is flexible.

Flaws:

  • There may be a slight axial play on the chuck;
  • The cartridge does not clamp well;
  • The power cord is not very long;

Here you can use Interskol DSh-10/320E2.

Review and testing of the Interskol DSh-10/320E2 model in this video:

Hitachi D10VC2

This is one of three impact drills in our rating; it drills wood, metal, and walls equally well. There is only one speed, but a decent one, 2300 rpm. This model can be used as a screwdriver with a speed limiter and reverse, but there is no clutch here, so you can break the screw. It easily adapts to the desired material, since the rotation speed here can be adjusted in 24 variations. The cartridge clamps tightly, without play. Since it is quick-clamping, the equipment can be changed without problems at any time. Maximum comfort when using it is provided by an additional handle, which can be fixed in a special hole in the body.

Advantages:

  • High-quality assembly;
  • Ergonomics;
  • Low noise level;
  • Comfortable;
  • Light weight;
  • Simple reverse operation.

Flaws:

  • Small cartridge diameter;
  • One speed;
  • Lack of coupling;
  • Hard cable.

Cost – 3350 rub.

Rating on a 5-point scale: 4.7.

Makita DP 4001

This is the heaviest model in the rating, weighing 2.4 kg, which makes it difficult to maneuver. The standard quick-release chuck allows you to securely and quickly fix screws. In poor lighting it is inconvenient to use, since there is no backlight. The cable is also not very long, but this is overshadowed by the high power of 750 W and the large drilling diameter, both in wood (up to 3.8 cm) and in metal (1.3 cm). The spindle speed is low - up to 950 per minute. For safe operation, the cord is double insulated.

Advantages:

  • Additional handle;
  • Powerful;
  • Large drilling diameter;
  • Wide range of chuck-clamped accessories;
  • Bracket for fastening.

Flaws:

  • Uncomfortable in the hand;
  • High noise level during operation;
  • Not a very long cord;
  • Heavy;
  • Gets hot when used for a long time.

Cost – 12,900 rubles.

Rating on a 5-point scale: 4.8

Makita DP 4001 is the most expensive model in our rating and, according to user reviews, the most popular among professionals.

The parameters declared by the manufacturer Makita correspond to reality, see this video:

Which corded drill/driver is better to choose?

First of all, you need the reverse button to be in an accessible place and work the first time. If the tool will also be used as a drill, then it should have at least two speeds, preferably with smooth adjustment. For those looking for a universal device, a model with a quick-release chuck is suitable. For night work, backlighting may be useful.

  • For those chasing high power, the Makita DP 4001 is suitable.
  • For frequent use, “Hitachi D10VC2” will be relevant.
  • Interskol DSh-10/320E2 can handle work at home.
  • To carry out major repairs, you cannot do without the ZUBR ZSSh-300-2 model.
  • For minor repairs, you can limit yourself to the devices “Diold ESH-0.26N” and “Stavr DShS-10/400-2C”.

If you choose the best corded drill/driver, you can greatly simplify your life and speed up repairs or construction. With it, only a few seconds separate you from the desired hole in the surface and the screwed in screw!

Purchased on 07/14/16. angle grinder BISON 180-1800P z01 produced in 2013 in the online store All tools. All Bulgarian women look alike now. But I chose ones with technical features and not exorbitant prices. The choice fell on this grinder. Features: soft start, vibration damping handle, rotary main handle, dust protection and looks beautiful.
I bought it to make a staircase at the dacha and later on the farm to have one. The price for this tool was 3,500 rubles.
Now about operation. I am not one of the experienced Bulgarians who uses it every day. As a result, halfway through the work, the cutting disc shattered. Got a bite. I started to unscrew the nut using the locking button. And then it began. The button (well, it was very beautiful) turned up and bounced off. Got it, the gearbox housing was broken. I disassemble the gearbox and see. The stopper fell out. Yes, the design surprised me. Such an important unit, but it is made like a children’s toy (thin walls with stiffening ribs of 90 degrees. Aluminum alloy is very fragile). Probably, this unit is intended only for installing disks and lightly tightening them, but not for unscrewing stuck disks. I realized that it is not worth restoring this structure - the entire building will fall apart. I placed the button on liquid nails and sealed the hole. I found an open-end wrench 5 mm thick and 20 mm in size. Excellent shaft fixation.
Further. If I get to the gearbox, I’ll look at everything else and sh/p.
The gearbox is abundantly filled with lubricant. Only after working for 1 hour is this lubricant safely spread over the walls of the gearbox housing and the two gears are completely dry. Surprisingly, I checked with toilet paper for a grease stain. DRY. Conclusion: The wrong brand of lubricant is used or has dried out in three years. But then I accidentally checked the spindle rotor for play - oh my God, there is play and it’s noticeable??!! I take out the rotor, disassemble the sh/p and.... surprise - it's dry. Conclusion - I’m sorting out all the sh/p. Of the four bearings, one was lubricated in the required amount. What a song! I replaced the rotor shaft with a new one and immediately lubricated it using the time-tested CV joint 4M lubricant. I use this lubricant to lubricate all my tools, from drills to electric planes - I RECOMMEND. I filled the gearbox cavity with this lubricant. And the result, the noise and howling during operation, disappeared. Worked for 3 hours - normal flight.
CONCLUSION: I really liked the grinder in terms of ergonomics, especially the rotary main handle and smooth start. And in terms of quality, judge for yourself. The gears are strong, not raw. Bearings are a darn thing, they are loose and have to be replaced. The gear housing is beautiful, but thin and unreliable. Unfortunately, I didn’t take a photo; I didn’t have a smartphone at hand. You can take my word for it. I was in a hurry to make the stairs by the weekend.

In addition to the power tool itself and a convenient case for storing it, the buyer receives an additional handle, a drilling depth limiter, as well as lubricant and a key chuck. The best rotary hammers in terms of quality and reliability

If you need a good hammer drill that can delight you with excellent build quality and reliability, then you don’t have to choose a model from the professional segment. In this category, we have also selected 3 of the most attractive devices from well-known brands that will be an excellent option for purchase.

1. AEG KH 27 E

The maximum permissible drilling diameter when using this model is 13, 26 and 30 millimeters for metal, concrete and wood, respectively.

Advantages:

The capabilities of this solution from Makita are very impressive: three operating modes, drilling diameter up to 24 millimeters (for concrete), frequency and impact force of 4500 per minute and 2.4 J, respectively. The HR2470 is a high-quality and versatile hammer drill with good equipment and a 4-meter cable, which allows you to work with it over a large area. When choosing a manufacturer of rotary hammers, remember that even though models from different companies have the same functionality, a tool from a more well-known brand can cost an order of magnitude more. The main parameters that you should pay attention to when choosing a tool are power, impact energy, ease of use and reliability. For a tool used in everyday life, it is recommended to choose a hammer drill that has at least three operating modes. And, as a rule, it is worth paying attention to the presence of a protective coupling and adjustment of the shaft rotation speed.

The best cordless hammer drills

Very often, buyers are interested in the portability of the tools they purchase. This is understandable, because it is not always possible to connect to a power source, and when doing work in different rooms, you don’t want to constantly carry a huge cable with you, connecting it to different sockets. An excellent solution in this case would be to purchase a convenient and lightweight battery-powered hammer drill. Their capabilities, power and autonomy are quite enough to perform most of the work required by the average user. At the same time, the price of such devices does not go beyond reasonable limits.

1. Makita DHR242Z

One of the best cordless hammer drills not only on our list, but also on the market is the DHR242Z model from the Makita brand. It is equipped with electronic speed control and an excellent anti-vibration system, and the maximum frequency and force of impacts when operating in the corresponding modes is 4700 and 2.0 J. However, the number of revolutions at idle is not too high - only 950 per minute. This is the lowest rating in the rating, and you need to pay attention to this nuance before purchasing. In order not to interrupt the operation of the hammer drill, it is recommended to buy two batteries - the operating time with one is just enough to charge the second. Otherwise, this is an excellent choice for those who need excellent quality, maximum mobility and good autonomy.

Advantages:

  • fast battery charging - up to 100% in 25 minutes;
  • the presence of an innovative brushless motor;
  • smooth start;
  • electronic rotation control.

Flaws:

  • rotational speed;
  • You need to purchase a charging unit and batteries separately.

The BBH 18 Li-0 model has three operating modes and good equipment. Among the pleasant features of the device is the anti-vibration system, which significantly increases ease of use. The maximum rotation speed of this hammer is 1400 rpm at idle, and the impact frequency is 4200 beats/min (maximum energy 2.3 J). The device weighs 3500 grams, which is a bit much for some users. But for this class of devices, this feature is not a disadvantage. It is worth noting that the battery capacity, like that of the Makita, is 4 Ah, but due to high energy consumption it runs out much faster.

Advantages:

  • good performance;
  • anti-vibration system;
  • balanced design;
  • battery overload protection function.

Flaws:

  • impressive weight.

3. Bosch GBH 18 V-EC 0

  • overload protection
  • electronic speed control
  • extended battery life
  • a light weight
  • excellent build quality
  • presence of built-in LED backlight

The best professional hammer drills

For those involved in construction or renovation at a professional level, conventional models are simply not suitable. Due to the increased load, such a power tool can quickly become unusable, and its capabilities are much less extensive. Specialists need hammer drills for working at heights or on ladders, capable of drilling large holes and destroying a massive concrete wall without any problems. As in other cases, we bring to your attention the three leaders in this segment, distinguished by perfectly balanced characteristics, reliability and price tag.

1. Makita HR5001C

Makita HR5001C is one of the most powerful rotary hammers in the rating. It produces 17.5 J of impact energy and delivers up to 2150 beats per minute. It has two modes (drilling with impact and chiselling), SDS-max drill mount, six stages for setting the number and strength of impacts, and a smooth descent. Such indicators are enough to destroy even strong walls or a strong concrete floor. The weight of the rotary hammer is an impressive 10.8 kilograms, but for this class of equipment this is a completely justified parameter. Among the disadvantages of the HR5001C model, we can only note the high cost of spare parts, but their quality is at an excellent level.

Advantages:

  • quality of materials and workmanship;
  • no heating during prolonged loads;
  • high level of protection;
  • functionality;
  • brush wear monitoring system.

Flaws:

  • high price of components;
  • impressive weight and size.

2. DeWALT D25762K

An excellent option for a professional device is the DeWALT D25762K. Among the key features of the device are an anti-vibration system, indication of the degree of wear of carbon brushes, as well as electronic speed control. The maximum diameter for drilling concrete in standard mode and drill mode is 52 and 80 millimeters, respectively. Included with the device, the user will be able to find an additional handle and a package of lubricant. All of these features make the DeWALT D25762K the best professional hammer drill in this rating category.

Advantages:

  • active vibration protection using AVC technology;
  • high impact energy;
  • drilling diameter;
  • notification of brush wear;
  • reliability in operation.

Flaws:

  • high price.

3. Bosch GBH 8-45 DV

The GBH 8-45 DV model from the Bosch brand is one of the best network hammer drills in the rating and is also the lightest of those presented in this class. The power of this device is 1.5 kW, and its weight is 8.9 kg. The GBH 8-45 DV model is supplied with a pack of lubricant and an additional handle. This is a hammer drill with low impact power compared to other professional models in our rating. The specified parameter here is only 12.5 J, but thanks to the Turbo Power function it is not inferior in performance to previous models. The impact energy is enough for most tasks, especially considering the impact frequency of 2760 per minute.

Advantages:

  • long service life;
  • 3-stage vibration damping system;
  • power 1.5 kW;
  • relatively light weight;
  • Convenient location of buttons and switches.

Flaws:

  • There are no particular complaints about the work.
