How to replace a cartridge in a water filter: filter maintenance, how often to change. How to change the cartridge in a water filter How to change a water purification filter

The filter (cleaner) becomes clogged over time and therefore needs to be changed. It is important to understand how to change your water purifier. There are different cleaning systems. Accordingly, a certain filtration technology is provided.

Important function of filters

Before you change your water filter, you should know what makes and models are available. There are a couple of types of filtering (maybe you should choose a jug?). When choosing, focus on the faucet nozzle. It should be easy to use. You will need to constantly change the cartridge. This is expensive for most users, so people often buy the cleaner in a jug. They deeply purify running water.

Their advantage is their compact size; you can always take them with you on a trip or to the country. In addition, you can buy a cartridge to obtain iodized or fluoridated water. The biggest drawback of jug purifiers is the size of the container, so you can only get more out of filtered water than the capacity of the container allows. You need to wait until all the water has gone through the purification process.

More serious filtration systems are in demand. They are installed in the water supply system. First, it should be cleaned of large inclusions - sand, metal particles from pipes, dirt, and then of microbes and bleach.

It is worth noting the following fact about disinfection. All people boil water to kill harmful chemicals. Therefore, some are still skeptical about purchasing a filter. They are quite happy with the boiling process.

Why do you need a filter?

Why do you need a filter and is it possible to do without it? Boil and all bacteria will die! However, it is important here to consider the problem of boiling from the point of view of bacteria and heavy inclusions in the water. After all, boiling kills both beneficial and harmful bacteria. In addition, in a boiled liquid, the concentration of non-volatile combinations increases because part of the liquid evaporates.

Undoubtedly, boiling destroys the smallest organisms. However, water contains elements that are more harmful to the body. And this is not E. coli, but inclusions that are much more harmful to the body. What is it? Running water contains an abundance of additives (salts, minerals, etc.). If you boil them, the chemical structure of the substances changes. These modified elements enter the body together with twice-boiled water. Therefore, pay attention to how many times you can boil water. Just one time. If you boil the same liquid a second time, you will get heavy volatile inclusions, namely:

  • arsenic;
  • fluorine;
  • nitrates.

Filtration System Options

By type of cleaning composition:

  • with replaceable component;
  • with sorbent (sand);
  • membrane composition;
  • mesh made of plastic or metal;
  • cartridge with ozone cover.

By purpose:

  • mechanical cleaning;
  • remove turbidity;
  • dissolved metal particles;
  • liquid softening;
  • protection against microbes.

According to the method of taking water:

  • passive;
  • forced submission.

How to understand that the purifier needs to be replaced

Remember that familiarity with a how-to manual for a filtration system is good, but not enough. The cleaning system is equipped with a cartridge. This can be a jug or a reverse osmosis system. Cleaning parts need to be changed on time. Using liquid that has passed through a cartridge whose working life has expired will have a negative impact on your health.

When to change the cartridge:

  1. Taste. A person who has tried filtered water will see a significant difference from “raw” tap water.
  2. By sediment. After boiling the liquid that has passed through the cleaning system, scale forms. You can't drink this kind of water.
  3. Reducing pressure. Faucet attachments and reverse osmosis structures are also important here. A decrease in pressure indicates that the cartridge has “exhausted its strength.”

How to change a water purifier: a step-by-step guide

  1. Turn off the water supply (to remove organochlorine compounds).
  2. We use the faucet that is included with the cleaner.
  3. Unscrew the bottom part of the filter. First release the pressure with the button. It's on the top of the filter.
  4. We take out the old cartridge and examine the condition of the rubber seals. When they are soft and flexible, there is no need to worry. They can be used for subsequent times. We remove them and wash them.
  5. We remove liquid fragments from the flask and wash it. You need to rinse without adding any chemicals. 5. After the procedure with the flask, we wipe the accessible parts of the filter head.
  6. Place a fresh cartridge in a clean flask.
  7. Screw the flask all the way. To do this we use a key.

When the process of changing the purifier is completed, do not drain the treated water or drink it for 10 minutes.

Coarse liquid purifier

Transparent water cannot be called completely clean. It may include impurities that are invisible to the naked eye. Mechanical impurities are harmful to humans, equipment and pipes. Harmful impurities can be deposited in the gastrointestinal tract. Such particles act on the pipe walls as abrasives. The housing contains filter materials, meshes or other components. They are designed to contain such particles. The procedure is simple: it flows through the device and the cleaning component, and the inclusions remain.

Fine cleaner

Using rough purification, the water will not be sufficiently purified. I use the fine cleaning option especially for such purposes. Thanks to this cleaning method, you don’t have to worry about the condition of your plumbing.

The following are used as cleaning materials:

  • ion exchange resins;
  • reverse osmosis membranes;
  • sorption materials.

There are no difficulties with replacing working components: the service life depends on the volume of clean water or on the duration of use.

Filter selection

  1. Before purchasing, find out the composition of running water. The type of filter and its cartridges depends on the concentration of harmful elements.
  2. A jug or faucet attachment will do.
  3. When you have a large family, more than three people, then a dispenser is suitable.
  4. When the pipes are old, then buy a main device. It provides protection against corrosion.
  5. When the water is very dirty, a reverse osmosis system is suitable. It is important to choose a mineralizer here.
  6. Check the system in the shopping center: the cleaner should be strong and not damaged. There should be no nasty odors coming from it.
  7. The system must be installed hermetically.
  8. Change the cartridge promptly. When filter parts are dirty, they need to be rinsed.

Cleaning steps

  • First stage. Mechanical cleaning cleaner is designed to remove mechanical impurities;
  • Second stage. If you use chlorine cleaning, then you should choose carbon cleaners. It is better to use cartridges with granular carbon. They stop the development of microorganisms deep in the backfill - improving quality;
  • The third stage is final carbon cleaning.

Rating of water purification systems

There are many filtration designs on the market. Therefore, the choice of filter must be taken responsibly. How to choose a reliable cleaning system? We recommend that you familiarize yourself with these manufacturers.

"Geyser"

There are different cleaning systems on the market. One of the latest models is the stationary cleaning design “Ultra Bio”, which in 3 stages cleanses from organic impurities, but from microorganisms. "Ultra Bio" combines two types of cartridges for extreme cleansing. At the same time, it acquires crystal purity and a mild taste. Installation of the presented model is simple and does not require special training. It is worth installing the block on the section of the cold water pipes, screwing it with sealant. Cartridge replacement is performed on the outside of the device. A valve is used. Price from 8 thousand rubles.

"Barrier"

Cleaning structures of this brand are distinguished by their high efficiency and ease of use. The company has been producing cassettes for home filter jugs for a long time. However, she smoothly included an innovation - a model from the line of membrane cleaning systems - “Barrier Expert”. This is a two-stage flask with different types of material. At the 1st stage, the process of purification from heavy metals and bleach occurs. At stage 2, the process of neutralizing toxic elements occurs. Price from 3,550 rubles.

"Aquaphor"

There are simple and installation cleaning devices on the market. The company has been on the market for 15 years. The manufacturer's range has expanded from cleaning cassettes for jugs to production complexes for thorough cleaning. The “Trio” purifier is especially famous, where the liquid is processed in 3 stages. This model is placed under the sink. Price from 12 thousand rubles.

"Atoll"

The manufacturer is not as well known as other companies and is not advertised. Company employees claim that the main advantage is not advertising, but the high quality of devices for purifying running water. And that's true. One of the best-selling modifications of this brand is Slim Line. The treatment design is of the main type. They install the system on wells. Price from 4 thousand rubles.

"Ecodar"

The company has been producing cleaning devices for more than 20 years. Previously, the company dealt only with industrial and production structures. There are a series of shower heads and kitchen faucets on the market. From a functional point of view, the system works on a “cumulative” principle. This is a plastic dispenser with two levels of cleaning fiber and a small compartment for purified liquid. Price from 5 thousand rubles.

Filters effectively cope with the purification of running water. If the cartridge's service life has expired, it should be replaced immediately. And only then deal with the question of how to change the water filter. Stage I (mechanical cleaning) can be made of foamed polypropylene. For drinking filters, the first type of polypropylene is selected. The cleaning level does not have to be higher than 5 microns. Such cartridges provide fine purification of liquids.

According to statistics, this is perhaps the most common question among users of water filters operating on the principle of reverse osmosis. At the same time, they decide to change reverse osmosis cartridges themselves in two cases:

  1. The decision was made initially when purchasing a new filter - “I will change everything myself”;
  2. The desire to get away from services that provide .

In this article you will learn how to independently replace the cartridges in a reverse osmosis filter without outside help in cases where the water filter is working properly and you just need to carry out a scheduled replacement of replaceable modules.

Instructions for replacing cartridges in reverse osmosis

Following step by step in accordance with these instructions, each user will be able to independently change the cartridges in the osmotic water filter

Turn off the water supply valve to the reverse osmosis filter

Logically, any water purification filter always has an input and an output; accordingly, this pattern also applies to. Before replacing cartridges, you must turn off the water supply. We inspect the water pipes that are located near the water filter and find a pipe with cold water. Reverse osmosis must be connected to it. We shut off the water supply to the filter by turning the tap handle to a perpendicular position relative to the tap itself.

Turn off the tap on the reverse osmosis storage tank

To follow the procedure for replacing cartridges in a reverse osmosis filter, it is necessary to exclude any leaks, even the output of purified water that it contains. Moreover, when washing the filter after installing new cartridges, the tap on the storage tank must be closed for the first 1.5 - 2 hours. We turn the blue tap lever on the tank perpendicular to the tube that is connected to it.

Open the purified water tap at the sink

To release the residual water pressure in the reverse osmosis filter before replacing the cartridges, you need to open it, which is usually installed on the sink. To do this, set the faucet locking mechanism to the open position.

We wait a few minutes until the water stops dripping from the tap. If the reverse osmosis filter is installed, then we also wait until the pump pumps the remaining water in the filter and turns off. After turning off the pressure booster pump, unplug the pump from the socket.

We independently change the lower cartridges in reverse osmosis

All water pre-treatment flasks have a right-hand thread. That is, to replace the cartridges in the reverse osmosis filter, you need to direct it from right to left. We change cartridges in order 1-2-3. In this case, the first cartridge in the numbering is counted from the first flask into which water flows from the water supply. Most often, the direction of water flow in the preliminary stages is from right to left, and only occasionally from left to right.

After replacing the preliminary three cartridges, it is necessary to disconnect the water outlet tube from the 3rd flask and instead connect the tube that supplies water to the drinking water tap installed on the sink.

Which cartridges to choose for a reverse osmosis filter? This is explained in more detail in the video:

It is necessary to turn on the water supply to the filter for 5 minutes by opening the tap on the water pipe and flush the first water into the kitchen sink sink. This step will prevent coal dust from entering the reverse osmosis membrane. After the specified time has passed, turn off the water supply tap to the filter again and return all the tubes to their usual places.

To disconnect the tube from - follow the instructions shown in the picture below:

And also in the video:

  1. We disconnect the tube from the fittings that are screwed into the body of the reverse osmosis membrane;
  2. Disconnect the membrane housing from the water filter mounting plate;
  3. Unscrew the membrane housing cover with a special key;
  4. Pull out the old membrane from the housing;
  5. We clean and rinse all internal cavities of the membrane body from deposits;
  6. We check the functionality of the check valve screwed into the membrane body by supplying water in the opposite direction;
  7. We lubricate all rubber seals of the new reverse osmosis membrane with non-hardening silicone;
  8. Insert the new membrane into the membrane body and screw on the cap;
  9. We connect all the tubes in their places.

Replacing the carbon post-filter and mineralizer in reverse osmosis

They are one of the key replacement cartridges in any reverse osmosis system. They are responsible for the taste of purified water. In order to replace these modules in your reverse osmosis filter, you first need to know what type of connection is in those that are already in your water filter. There are only two types of connection:

  1. Threaded. Connection ports to the filter are implemented in the form of internal threads at the inlet and outlet along the edges of the replaceable module. Connection to the filter is made through adapter fittings with a mating external thread with a diameter of 1/4". This thread is screwed into the cartridge through fum tape or sealant.
  2. Quick connection. The port for connecting the tube is already built into the cartridge body. The tube can be inserted directly.

  1. We connect the carbon post-filter, mineralizer, bioceramic cartridge to the reverse osmosis filter;
  2. We open the tap on the storage tank so that the purified water before replacing all cartridges rinses all the upper horizontal cartridges, namely the post-filter, mineralizer and bioceramic cartridge, and flows through the drinking water tap into the kitchen sink sink.

Starting a reverse osmosis filter after replacing cartridges

After all the cartridges in the reverse osmosis filter have been replaced with new ones, you need to put it into operation correctly:

  1. Leave the tap on the storage tank open;
  2. Open the water supply tap from the water supply to the reverse osmosis filter;
  3. Move the drinking water tap to the closed position;
  4. We set aside 1-2 hours for the storage tank to fill completely;
  5. After the specified time has passed, all the water that has accumulated in the storage tank is again drained through the kitchen faucet into the sink. However, it is not advisable to drink this water;
  6. Your filter has been fully serviced and washed - the water can be consumed.

Reverse osmosis filter service life

If we talk about the service life of the filter itself, and not the replaceable cartridges and reverse osmosis membrane, it ranges from 5 to 15 years, subject to the technical requirements for the input water pressure and the temperature of the water and the environment where the filter is installed. It is not necessary to change the entire filter before the specified period. If, for example, a filter with water spends the winter in an unheated dacha, then the ice from the water frozen in it will tear the filter from inside in the first frost. All manufacturers of reverse osmosis filters, in order to increase the service life of rubber seals - rings - recommend lubricating them with a special silicone-based lubricant during each filter service to prevent aging of the rubber and its wetting.

If we talk about the service life of replaceable cartridges, the period depends on the quality of the source water, water consumption, and the quality of the cartridges themselves. Manufacturers recommend the following terms for replacing cartridges in a reverse osmosis filter.

Scientists have not yet invented a perpetual cartridge, like a perpetual motion machine. Regardless of the design, filter elements for water purifiers have a service life. It is measured by the maximum time of use, the amount of purified water. The service life is also affected by the quality of the source liquid.

When replacing a cartridge, it is important to install it correctly. Compliance with the requirements for the direction of liquid flow during filtration and the quality of purified water will depend on this.

We disassemble the system and clean the flasks

When starting the process of replacing filter elements, it is necessary to shut off the water supply from the water supply. After this, you need to open the tap for clean water to reduce the pressure in the system. At the next stage, use a special wrench to unscrew the flask, drain the water from it and remove the used filter element.

Before installing a new cartridge, it is important to wash the inside of the flask. This is necessary to clean the walls from contaminants and microorganisms that may have appeared over months of use.

Radial filtration cartridges

To purify water from suspended particles, polypropylene mesh elements with radial filtration are used. They are universal. The fluid flow can occur either from the outside towards the internal hole or in the opposite direction. Such filter elements have sealing rings on both sides. Filtration occurs over the entire surface of the filter, so it does not matter how you place it in the flask.

Radial filtration is also used in compressed activated carbon elements. If they have an internal through hole and two o-rings, then they can be inserted into the flask at either end.

Cartridges with flanges and threaded connections

Some manufacturers use filter elements with threaded connections or flanges. They provide a more reliable connection than silicone and rubber O-rings. For example, the Aquaphor Crystal model range has connecting flanges for connection to the lid.

Bulk cartridges

The plastic housing of the filters may contain granular carbon, ion exchange resin, sodium polyphosphate, other components or mixtures thereof. Filtration occurs along the filter axis. As the liquid moves through the active substance, contaminants are captured and retained.

The cartridges have holes at the bottom. Through them, the liquid enters and passes through the filter layer. There is an O-ring at the top to create a tight seal with the lid.

When replacing bulk cartridges, for example from Aquafilter, in in-line or reverse osmosis filters, you must install them with the sealing end up. In countertop filters, on the other hand, the O-ring should be at the bottom.

Some manufacturers put an arrow on the plastic for the convenience of users. It indicates the direction of water filtration. In desktop models, when replacing the filter element, the arrow should point down, and in other filters, up.

Combination cartridges

When using cartridges with several filter layers, take into account the direction of water supply. So in Aquapost 207 the prefilter is located at the top and marked in white. When replacing such a filter in systems with water supply from above, the white end should be directed towards the lid, and the colored end should remain at the bottom of the flask.

But Aquafilter FCCA-STO two-stage cleaning cartridges can be used in systems with water supplied to the flask. In the lower part it is polypropylene, and in the upper part it is plastic filled with activated carbon. The water is first filtered through polypropylene into the center, and then enters the carbon filter. When replacing such a cartridge, the plastic part with the sealing ring should be directed towards the cover.

Work after replacing filter elements

Installing new cartridges always ends with washing them. To do this, the system is collected and the water supply from the water supply is resumed. After this, open the tap with clean water and drain the first 5-10 liters. It is not recommended to use them.

Self-replacement or professional help

Cartridges in mainline or single-flask household filters can be replaced independently. In this case, it is enough to study the instructions and be careful when disassembling the system.

It is more difficult to replace filter elements in multi-flask or reverse osmosis water treatment systems. An error in the order of installing filters can lead to deterioration in water quality or rapid failure of the cartridges themselves. Thus, replacing a membrane filter requires its preliminary preparation and a special procedure for disconnecting and connecting pipes and tubings. As for semi-industrial and industrial filters, manufacturers recommend inviting specialists to replace cartridges in them.

The company "YuVK" LLC is engaged not only in the sale of water treatment systems and replacement cartridges, but also provides services for their replacement. Our employees know the rules and features of installing cartridges from different manufacturers. It is more profitable to invite experts from the Southern Water Treatment Company than to receive poorly treated water or change the cartridge ahead of time.

Regular replacement of filters and filter elements is important for stable operation of the vehicle and increasing its service life. The most common signs that any filter needs to be replaced are:

  1. Reduced vehicle power.
  2. Increased fuel consumption.
  3. Sudden engine stop.

In the worst case, if the filter is not replaced in a timely manner, the engine will not start.

What filters need to be changed in the car?

  1. . Provides filtration of air entering the engine. Eliminates small and large foreign particles. In cars with injection engines it is located on the engine. In cars with carburetor engines, it is located inside the air collector.
  2. . Provides filtration of motor, lubricating and transmission oils. Located on the front or rear side of the cylinder block, depending on the engine type.
  3. . Protects vehicle fuel from foreign impurities. Located between the pump and the fuel tank.

How often should you change filters in your car?

The frequency of replacement depends on the type of device, as well as operating conditions.

  1. The air filter should be replaced every 10,000 km.
  2. Installation of a new oil filter is carried out along with an oil change every 15,000 km. With regular use of the car in urban conditions, this figure drops to 10,000 km.
  3. The fuel filter is changed once every 20,000 km. This number can be reduced to 8 or 10 thousand km, depending on the operating conditions of the car.

How to change the oil filter

Models of cleaning systems differ in shape, design and disposal methods, but the principle of operation is similar. Selling companies offer additional equipment maintenance services. If you need to change water filters yourself, the owners are afraid to make a mistake. The procedure for updating components has rules that you need to understand.

What types of water filters are there?

The central filter consists of two flasks containing sorbing components. The device is installed in the apartment after the water meter. The main purifier is built into the system of a house that is not connected to the city water supply or in a house with old rusty pipes.

A jug is a budget option that is purchased for purifying liquids. This easy-to-use model filters up to 2.5 liters of cooking water at a time, but does not remove hardness. The resource of the device varies from 150 to 400 liters. The volume of pure moisture is limited by the size of the flask, so you won’t be able to immediately fill a large saucepan or kettle. Inexpensive cassettes do not always fit glasses of other brands.

The faucet attachment has a low throughput - no more than 500 ml per minute. Purified water enters a container that a person selects to suit individual needs. Due to slow filtration, the model is not popular among compatriots. The equipment does not have a bypass system or power settings. If the owner needs to wash dishes, he has to dismantle the equipment.

Flow-through models are installed under the sink and connected to the tap with a water hose. The throughput of the product is up to 2 liters per minute. The declared operating life of the unit is up to 4000 liters. A family of 3 people will need replacement components after 2 years. The large system takes up a lot of space, so it is not suitable for compact housing.

Built-in filters are often mounted in a cabinet in the kitchen. The device resembles a cylinder, inside of which there are cleaning components and a vessel for collecting liquid. Water comes through a separate tap.
A pre-cleaning device removes moisture from mechanical particles. The prefilter is installed on pipes at the entrance to the apartment or in front of household appliances. It has one cleaning stage, there are models for hot water and softening the liquid entering the washing machine.

When is it necessary to replace the water filter?

Tap moisture rarely has a good level of purity. The installed system collects impurities that accumulate in filter devices. Conditions are created inside for the growth of bacteria. Manufacturers often equip their products with warning labels. It is easy to determine the need for replacement based on the following signs:

The cleaning process is slower;
the quality of the liquid decreases (smell, color, transparency);
dirt appears on the body of the flask;
Scale forms in the kettle.

Cartridges in jugs are tied to the volume of liquid being purified. Depending on the amount of moisture used, the cassette is changed every 1-2 months. There is an indicator on the cover of the device that warns of the need for a procedure. In budget models, an arrow pointer on the inner case will notify you of deadlines.

In flow filters, sediment appears on the walls after 60-90 days. Reverse osmosis systems require replacement no earlier than after a couple of years. You should not tighten it, otherwise the accumulated dirt can break the expensive membrane. In multi-stage models, primary cleaning cartridges are purchased every 8 weeks, and the remaining cartridges are purchased every six months.

How to replace a water filter

Liquid purification systems have a finite service life. To update the components of the device, you do not need to call a specialist. An untrained user can handle installing new components. If you set a reminder on your smartphone, the owner will not forget the appropriate time for the event.

Replacing the water filter cartridge

When purchasing components for the system, you need to pay attention to the purpose. Most models are suitable for working with cold liquid (within +35-40 C). If hot water gets on them, the structure of the device will quickly collapse. For moisture from +40 C, special cartridges are produced that are marked or have a red label on the packaging.

The procedure begins by turning off the fluid. If the home water supply has a built-in tap, then it is turned off. In other options, you will have to completely block the supply of moisture through the riser. Carefully unscrew the flask using the replacement key from the original kit. To reduce the pressure, you need to press the reset button or open the valve on the sink. Manufacturers place the device in the upper part of the body.

Remove the old cartridge from the container and check the condition of the sealing rubber bands. A high-quality gasket should be strong and elastic, and hard parts should be replaced with new ones. If there is rust or dirt on the walls of the flask, rinse thoroughly with clean water. Household chemicals are difficult to wash out, so they are prohibited for filters.

Place the cassette in the cleaned glass and tighten it with a wrench until it stops. To replace components in membrane models, you need to fill the flask with water. The user prevents damage to the protective layers by air bubbles.

The procedure ends with checking the tightness of the connections. If moisture leaks out, the device is re-fixed or the rubber bands are changed. You can treat the seals with silicone grease or Vaseline. After installing the cartridge, drain the liquid from the tap within 10 minutes.

Replacing a permanent water filter

In expensive multi-stage models, components are updated 1-2 times a year. Shut off the water flow and remove the red locking clip. To dismantle the hose, you need to press the ring. Unscrew the lid and remove the device from its place. The filter is held in place by special brackets, so the device is carefully pulled out.

Disconnect the tube that leads to the membrane. Change the cleaning elements, assemble the membrane, tighten the top plugs and install the hose. After the procedure, check the water pressure and use a device to filter the liquid.

Replacing the coarse water filter

The system captures large particles that are invisible to the naked human eye. The size of the retained debris ranges from 1 to 20 microns. Options with filter components look similar to a polypropylene coil or cylinder with a fine mesh.

To replace the coarse filter, you need to turn off the water. Unscrew the structure with an adjustable wrench. If clamps are mounted on the surfaces, then remove the parts. Remove the seal and apply new insulating tape. Fix the device on the wall, release the pressure and check the tightness of the connections.

Cleaning the coarse filter

In mechanical filtration models, it is not always necessary to change the cartridge. The system is cleaned according to an algorithm that is understandable to an untrained user:
turn off the water;
unscrew the lid of the mud trap;
get the net;
remove debris from the surface;
install the device in place;
add liquid.

If the device has not been opened for a long time, the lid will give in tightly. You will have to use an adjustable wrench or the tool that came with the kit. The mesh cannot be washed with household chemicals or scraped with metal scrapers. An old toothbrush will help remove stains. To avoid leaks, you need to replace the old seal. Fresh electrical tape is wound onto the threads and the device is tightened.

If the filter has not been changed for a long time, a dark coating appears inside the flask. Citric acid, which is safe for the human body, will help remove it. For the three-glass model, you will need eight packs of white crystals. Boiling water is contraindicated for plastic parts, so use hot, slightly cooled water. The containers are filled with liquid, the caustic substance is dissolved in the lids and cylinders. Leave for 30 minutes to act. Drain the moisture, carefully brush it with a brush, and rinse.

If your home has a water purification system installed, then replacing the cartridge can be easily done without the help of a specialist. The simple technology is understandable even to an untrained user. If you take a photo of the component labels, you can select the right model.
