If you want to prepare the potatoes for baking in advance, pour water into a bowl with vegetables. Water will prevent the potatoes from drying out or turning black.

5. Take foil, put chopped potatoes in the middle, add a little salt.


6. Place a piece of pork on the potatoes. Close the foil tightly on all sides. We prepare the remaining portions in the same way. Place in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 35-40 minutes.


7. After the specified time has passed, open the foil slightly and leave it in the oven for another 5-10 minutes. During this time, the meat should be covered with a golden crust.


8. The meat baked in the oven with potatoes is ready. If desired, the dish can be decorated with fresh herbs.

In any case, the potatoes turn out extraordinary; they are perfectly saturated with meat juice and aroma.

Ingredients:

  • pork about 1 kg
  • potatoes about 1 kg
  • salt, spices to taste
  • 1 - 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bell pepper
  • any greens

Cooking method

Cut the pork into medium pieces, add salt and pepper and add tomato sauce. Mix well and leave for at least one hour. Then add thinly chopped onion and bell pepper to the meat. We line the baking dish well with foil so that the long ends remain, put the meat in the middle and place the peeled potatoes around the edges (salt them a little on top). The family really liked the delicious boiled pork, so I decided to repeat it - and then an idea came to me: what if I tried to combine two in one, meat and side dish? This is how the recipe for baked meat with potatoes in foil appeared.

Potatoes baked with boiled pork turn out very tender, with a particularly appetizing taste. Here you have juicy baked meat and a delicious side dish for it. The only drawback is that the foil does not fit a lot of potatoes, so for a large family it is better to cook this dish in a baking bag. But then the taste will be a little different: if in foil the taste is closer to dishes on the fire, then in the sleeve it turns out more dietary, similar to boiled or stewed dishes.


Ingredients:

  • 600-700 g of meat (boneless pork with fat);
  • 5-6 medium potatoes;
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt;
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper;
  • 10-15 pieces of peppercorns;
  • 1-2 bay leaves;
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic.

Instructions:


Rinse the meat, as in the boiled pork recipe, lightly dry it and season it with spices.




Peel, wash and cut the potatoes into halves and then into thin slices.


Place the meat on a sheet of baking foil and sprinkle the potatoes around.


Wrap the meat and potatoes tightly in foil. If one sheet is not enough, place a second one under it at a right angle to the first strip of foil.
