How to get things. A device for retrieving fallen objects behind a cabinet. Let's figure out how to remove a foreign object from a washing machine

Even the most careful and careful people have unlucky days when everything literally falls out of their hands. At such unlucky moments in life, troubles happen to us in the form of the disappearance of some very valuable small object in the depths of the sewer. Most often, this happens with women's jewelry (an unfastened earring, a ring, or an accidentally unfastened chain). If such a nuisance happens before your eyes, try not to panic and remember the tips on how to get an object that has fallen into the sewer, described in detail in this article.

So, if your wedding ring suddenly slipped off your finger while washing dishes and disappeared into the kitchen sink drain, immediately take emergency measures to remove it, following the steps described below.

Method one - using a vacuum cleaner:

1. First of all, close the tap so that under the pressure of water your ring does not become inaccessible, continuing the journey you have begun through the sewer system.

2. Do not use the sink under any circumstances until the ring is removed from the darkness back into the white light.

3. If the decoration you dropped was not carried away by the flow of water too far into the depths of the sewer, then you can try to get it out using a home vacuum cleaner: - quickly plug the vacuum cleaner plug into the outlet;

Remove the nozzle from the hose; - if the design of your vacuum cleaner involves a dry cleaning method, then first remove the remaining water from the drain using a syringe bulb;

Then press the hose hole as tightly as possible to the opening of the kitchen sink; - having fixed the hose tightly, turn on the vacuum cleaner for a minute; after the specified time has passed, turn off the vacuum cleaner;

And start looking for your ring in the dust bag. If you are unlucky, you will have to use another extraction method, although it is less pleasant and more labor-intensive.

Method two is to disassemble the siphon:

Its essence is to get the precious loss out of the siphon.

1. First, check for its presence in the kitchen sink drain pipe. Typically, the cleaning hatch is attached under the sink at the bend of the sewer pipe. For the most part, all small objects that float down the drain with water settle in this place.

2. If the cleaning hatch is found, proceed to the procedure of removing the slipped ring from it using the available means at home.

3. But before you start opening the siphon, place an empty bucket under it with an old towel previously placed in it. Such precaution is necessary in order to prevent the water in the siphon from spilling onto the floor.

4. If the bucket is in the right place, open the cleaning hatch and see how quickly all its contents (small objects and water) end up in the bucket that was placed in advance.

5. Carefully inspect all items on the towel. Maybe you'll get lucky this time.

6. If there is no ring on the towel, do not give up. Using a thin stick, examine the inside surface of the pipe. It may turn out that your missing item is stuck inside it.

If you still haven’t found the ring, then there’s no escape; you’ll have to dismantle the sewer pipe.

Method three - inspect the "sewer pipes"

1. Look among the tools available at home for a large adjustable (water) wrench, and at the same time prepare two buckets.

2. Place one of the two buckets directly under the pipe elbow so that water flows into it.

3. Using a wrench, carefully loosen the existing fastenings of the siphon pipe elbow.

4. Carefully remove the knee.

5. Empty all of its contents into the second bucket.

6. If there is still no ring in the bucket, carefully examine the inner walls of the siphon elbow, since a lot of dirt usually accumulates on its walls, to which the decoration could stick.

The result of such a thorough search can only be one - the ring has been found. Congratulations to you!

Finally, we want to give one more piece of advice: everything will be much easier if you just call a plumber from the housing department.

You will find a list of them at the bottom of the page.

A foreign object caught in the ear can cause a lot of inconvenience. For example, some children like to stick various small objects into their ears, which can get stuck in the ear canal. Fortunately, in most cases you can get them yourself without causing hearing loss or any other health consequences. However, if you cannot see what is in your ear, you should consult a doctor.

Steps

Part 1

Preliminary preparation

    Determine what exactly is stuck in your ear. We cannot always figure out how this or that object ended up in the ear, but our actions depend on the type of this object. Before taking further action, try to determine what is in the ear.

    Determine if you need immediate medical attention. Although a foreign object in the ear is irritating and uncomfortable, it is usually not a medical emergency. If you are unable to remove the object yourself, you can see a doctor the next morning. However, in some cases, immediate medical attention is required to prevent more serious damage.

    Know what not to do. Often the irritation caused by a foreign object is so great that we begin to act feverishly without thinking through the situation. However, many actions that seem obvious at first glance can cause more harm than good.

Part 3

Health care

    Prepare for your doctor's visit. If the home remedies and methods listed above do not work, you should seek medical help. Before visiting the doctor, collect all the necessary information. If a foreign object gets stuck in your child's ear, ask him or her more about how it happened. Your child may be more willing to tell you about this than to the doctor.

    • Be sure to tell your doctor exactly what is in the ear and how long it stays there. Based on this information, the doctor will be able to assess the degree of risk.
    • You should also tell your doctor what happened after the foreign object got into your ear. Have there been any side effects? Have you tried to remove the item yourself? If yes, what did you do?
  1. Ear rinsing. To remove the foreign object, your doctor may suggest that you rinse the ear canal with water or a saline solution. This is a fairly quick and simple procedure.

    Allow the doctor to remove the foreign object with medical tweezers. Although you may not be able to do this at home, your doctor will use special tools that are more appropriate for the case.

    The doctor may try to remove the foreign object by suctioning it through the tube. To do this, he will insert a small catheter into the stuck object. By sucking air through the catheter tube, he will be able to carefully remove the foreign object.

    • Typically, this method is used to remove hard objects (buttons, beads, etc.). It is less suitable for crumbly organic objects or insects.
  2. Prepare to receive anesthesia. It is often used to calm infants and young children because the patient should not move during the procedure. In this case, doctors often recommend appropriate anesthesia, because one careless movement by the patient can damage the delicate tissues inside the ear.

    Follow your doctor's instructions if you have a punctured eardrum. A foreign object can puncture the eardrum. In this case, the doctor will prescribe appropriate treatment.

    Discuss the necessary treatment with your doctor. After removing the foreign object from your ear, your doctor may tell you not to bathe or get your ear wet for 7 to 10 days. This will protect you from infection. When taking a shower or bath, lubricate the damaged ear with Vaseline and plug it with cotton wool.

Is it possible to move objects from a dream? Discover the amazing powers of lucid dreaming!

The practice of lucid dreaming¹ makes it possible not only to develop internally and learn the facets of your psyche. It is possible to materialize things from a dream into physical reality!

The reality of this phenomenon was proven by dreamers. Moving objects from a dream into reality is one of the important aspects of the practice of lucid dreaming (or simply lucid dreaming); a valuable opportunity to model reality at will.

What is needed to move objects from a dream into reality?

This is a fairly complex process that can be achieved with regular practice.

Initially, you need to be able to be aware of yourself in a dream, to take events under your control.

The methods described here require large reserves of human energy. Accordingly, in order to increase its level, you need to adjust your lifestyle: monitor your diet, the development of your physical body, and carry out some meditative practices to increase.

Moving objects from your dreams is possible, but you need to be patient.

Requirements in order to be able to materialize an object into reality:

  • be in a lucid dream;
  • have developed concentration²;
  • maintain good health so that body problems do not distract from practice.

Moving objects from a dream: technique

There is the following technique to bring things from a dream into reality.

1. The practitioner becomes aware of himself in a dream.

In it, with his intention, he creates an object that he wants to transfer into reality.

2. A person fully concentrates his attention on the object, imagines it in detail: imagines weight, dimensions and details; in one word, all possible properties.

3. After some time, the practitioner remembers his body and begins to focus on it, not forgetting the subject.

4. He brings concentration to the point that both the body and the desired object “merge” for attention, become one.

As soon as such a feeling arises, the practitioner mentally moves into his physical body.

5. On the subtle plane, the object has already appeared.

In order for it to appear in material reality, this practice must be repeated for a long time.

However, the stronger the ability to concentrate, the faster the result will come!

It should be noted that the desired item may appear not at home, but somewhere else - for example, in a park or under the balcony of an apartment. There will just be a feeling living in you where you need to look for it.

In order to materialize an object specifically at home, you need to clarify this point in a dream: when the thing you need is created, you need to find your home and move this thing there.

Moving objects to sleep

There is an amazing way to transfer a specific object into a dream! To do this, you need to follow the following steps.

1. The practitioner in reality remembers the object that needs to be moved to the dream. He also remembers the place where this thing is located.

2. A person enters a lucid dream and imagines an object, an exact copy of the real one.

3. When a thing appears in the dream space, the practitioner places it in the same place where the original lies in reality.

4. The person imagines an exact copy of the real place and places the object from the dream in the same place. At the same time, he mentally “destroys” the thing in reality, leaving only the object from the dream.

5. After some time of regular practice, an object from reality appears in a dream. At the same time, he disappears from reality, dematerializes!

For everyone who wants to learn this practice, it is necessary to emphasize that the result comes with time: you need to patiently continue to do the practice. He will appear!

Notes and feature articles for deeper understanding of the material

¹ Lucid dreaming is an altered state of consciousness in which a person realizes that he is seeing a dream and can, to one degree or another, control its content (Wikipedia).

² Techniques for developing concentration

All foreign objects (a wire from a bra, a piece of underwear, small items) that need to be removed from the washing machine can be divided into two main groups:

  • the first - hard objects (metal money, bones, nails from work clothes, etc.);
  • the second - fragments of linen (children's socks, scarves, stockings, etc.).

The fundamental difference between these two groups is that when hard objects get into the tank, they generally sink to the bottom, and soft fragments of laundry often get stuck between the tank and the drum, and sometimes get wound up on the drum shaft. Based on this, solid foreign objects are usually easier to reach.

A bone in the washing machine and any other foreign object, when the drum rotates strongly, can damage the plastic tub, drum, tub seal, and more. Therefore, if noise occurs during washing, it is advisable to stop washing, find and eliminate the cause.

1. Where foreign objects get stuck

When a foreign object (bone, linen, small change, etc.) gets into the tank, it may be located:

  • at the bottom of the tank;
  • get stuck between the tank and the drum;
  • wind onto the drum shaft.

You can determine the location of a foreign object if you illuminate the inner surface of the drum and slowly rotate it, observing through the holes. In parallel with visual inspection, the location can be determined by sound.

2. How to gain access and remove the bone and more

In most cases, convenient access to the inside of the tank can be obtained by removing the heating element (heater).

It happens that bones and fragments of laundry get stuck and do not fall to the bottom of the tank, then they are not visible through the hole in the heating element. In this case, it is necessary to unscrew the bolt securing the drum pulley, disconnect the pulley, re-screw the bolt (not all the way) and carefully knock the drum shaft out of the bearings with a hammer. After this, the drum will shift relative to its axis. Next, by rotating the drum, we release the pressure on the foreign object, and it sinks to the bottom of the tank.

After a foreign object (a bra wire, etc.) is observed in the hole of the heating element, you need to remove it with long tweezers or a hook and reassemble the washing machine in the reverse order.
