The New Year 2017 is coming - which means it’s time to get ready! People all over the world try to fill the holiday with competitions, games, and gifts. Schools are also in full swing preparing for New Year's tree. We bring to your attention competitions for the New Year for children of primary and senior school age.

New Year's competition "Hold the snowflake"

From pieces of padding polyester or cotton wool you need to roll fluffy, not very dense snowflakes, such that they would easily flutter in the air from a light breath of air. Two players from each team are selected and given one such snowflake. Players on command throw up a snowflake and blow on it, preventing it from falling. Whoever stays in the air longer wins.

"Catch the Snowball"

All children should be divided into two teams and each should be given one large bag or a wicker basket. Santa Claus gives the command, and the snowman scatters a lot of snowflakes on the children (they are made of pieces of fabric or cotton wool. You can also make them from ordinary paper, strongly crumple it into a ball and decorate it with sparkles, wrap it in rain). Children must collect snowballs in their own basket. At the end, when all the snowflakes have been collected, Santa Claus counts the number of snowflakes for each team. Whoever has more wins.

"New Year's Tantamareski"

This type of organization of free leisure is not new. Back in Soviet times, different characters were depicted on Whatman paper, and a place was cut out to insert a child’s face.

They indulged in tantamares at holidays back in Soviet times

This kind of fun is suitable for a photo shoot or selfie, which is so popular among modern children. Currently you can use Newest technologies and, having created a layout in Corel or Photoshop, print it and get an excellent tantamaresque banner for the New Year. If this is not possible, draw pictures on whatman paper, cardboard, old wallpaper, etc.

If there are a lot of Tantamares, then you can organize a game “Guess your character”. To do this, the child “tryes on” a banner with a cutout for the face and tries to guess who he is. The rules of the game are to ask questions that others can answer only “yes” or “no.”

Using tantamares you can play the game “Guess the Character”

For example, the following questions will help you uncover a character’s secret:

  • "this animal?";
  • “cartoon character?”;
  • “fairy tale hero?”;
  • “Is it red (green, blue, white, etc.) in color?”;
  • "does he have a hat?" and etc.

So gradually, by asking their friends and receiving monosyllabic answers, the boy or girl must guess who they are portraying. On the eve of the New Year 2017, Tantamaresque can be presented in the form of a Snowman, Father Frost, Snow Maiden, Christmas tree, Christmas ball, Rooster.

"Snowball"

A beautifully decorated ball (paper rolled into a ball and decorated with rain) is given to the children, all players stand in a circle. Music plays, and Santa Claus or the presenter counts out loud to five, while the children must pass the lump from hand to hand. As soon as the presenter pronounces the number “five,” the music stops, and the kid in whose hands there is a lump left must either read a rhyme, or dance, or let him guess the riddle (Santa Claus or the presenter makes the riddle).

"There are Christmas trees"

The children stand around the Christmas tree, do not hold hands, and Santa Claus explains the rules. He says the phrase: “There are Christmas trees...” and adds the words: “wide”, “narrow”, “high”, “low”. With the phrase “Christmas trees can be wide,” children should walk in a circle, making it as wide as possible. When Santa Claus says, “Christmas trees can be tall,” children should raise their hands to the top and walk on tiptoe. With the phrase “low Christmas trees,” the children must sit down; with the phrase “narrow Christmas trees,” the children narrow the circle. The step in a circle does not stop. Thus, Santa Claus should confuse the children as much as possible, but not say phrases very quickly. The competition is fun and noisy

Competition “Crumple up the newspaper”

Two participants per team are selected, and a newspaper is laid out in front of them, fully expanded. Santa Claus gives a signal, and participants must try to squeeze the newspaper into a tight ball as quickly as possible, which would fit in one palm.

"Come up with words"

In the “Come up with Words” competition, children will need ingenuity and knowledge

In this competition you will need to show your ingenuity and knowledge. This game is suitable for children of primary and secondary school age.

The goal of the competition is to come up with as many words as possible that begin with the letters of the Cockerel’s cry: “ku”, “ka”, “re” and “ku” again.

For example, the following words can be named for the syllable “ku”: pendant, kudelki, vitriol, turmeric; on “ka” - carriage, pocket, cardboard, Carlson, map; on “re” - repair, craft, record, rib, etc.

The last one to name the correct word wins.

"Crush the ball with your foot"

This competition is held between two players, each is given a small balloon (inflated and tied), the balloons are placed on the floor in front of the players, and the players themselves are tightly blindfolded with a scarf. A command is given, and the players must step on the ball (each on their own) and crush it. The whole joke of this competition is that the balls are secretly removed from the players and they try to crush the non-existent balls.

"Mousetrap"

The children are all designated as mice, all the adults stand in a circle and hold hands. On command, children run and must run inside the circle, while adults lower their hands from time to time, thereby closing the “mousetrap.” Those children who are “caught” also join hands with adults, expanding the circle. Gradually the circle becomes larger, and all the mice fall into the mousetrap.

New Year's competition for high school "Newton's Law"

The children themselves choose a player from each team; the players are given ten peas or small caramels, the kind that would easily fit into the neck of a champagne bottle. On command, the children each stand over their own bottle and, without bending over, try to throw all the peas (caramels) into the neck of the bottle. Champagne bottles can be replaced with three-liter jars, but in any case, bending down to throw candy or peas is prohibited.

"Cock-fights"

This competition will appeal to both boys and girls.

Such competitions are more suitable for boys, but girls are also welcome to feel like cocky cockerels - a symbol of the coming year according to the Eastern calendar.

This fun competition does not require any special preparation. To carry it out, you need a small drawn circle in which the fighting of the cockerels will take place. Children stand on one leg, hold the other with their hand and try to push the opponent out of the circle. Instead of a circle, you can use a small carpet to mark boundaries.

Competitions for the New Year 2017 should be fun, vigorous and interesting. The symbol of the coming year - - loves fun and games. Try to involve all the guests in the game, even the shy ones. Consider New Year's competitions in which both adults and young guests will be involved.

First of all, play with the children. To play with them, you can dress up in the costume of Father Frost and the Snow Maiden. Also, don’t forget to prepare gifts and prizes for winning games and competitions. They don’t have to be valuable, they can just be souvenirs:

  • Keyrings;
  • Candies;
  • Kinders;
  • Figurines;
  • Candles;
  • Christmas decorations;
  • Magnets;
  • Movie tickets;
  • Fruits.

It’s worth starting competitions for the New Year 2017 with children’s ones because the enthusiasm of children will push adults to have fun.

"Egg Relay"

The first competition should be that competition that everyone is quite tired of, but it will please the patron of next year - the Fire Rooster. In the original story, children must divide into two teams, stand next to each other, and place two trays opposite. At the leader’s command, the first player from the team takes a spoon, puts a tangerine in it and carries it to the tray. As soon as he does this, the next player on the team takes the spoon and repeats the procedure. The winner is the team that is the first to transfer all the tangerines to the tray.

To make this game themed, tangerines should be replaced with eggs. Don't forget to boil them so that if they fall, they won't break. If you want to make the game even more interesting for children, paint all the eggs in a New Year's theme.

"Cap"

Great children's competition for the New Year 2017 - “Cap”. To do this, all children must stand in a circle, the leader gives one player a New Year's cap and turns on the music. While she plays, the players pass the cap around until the music stops. The participant who still had the cap in his hands when the music stopped puts it on and completes the task of the presenter.

To make this competition please the Fire Rooster, the cap should be replaced with a hat with a tuft. You can make it yourself from cardboard, sew it, or simply purchase it in a store.

"Artist"

This competition for children for the New Year 2017 will again divide the company into two teams. You also need to prepare two easels, whatman paper, markers and blindfolds in advance. The first player of the team stands in front of an easel with a blank piece of paper on it. He is blindfolded, given a marker, and he begins to draw a New Year's picture: it can be anything - a Christmas tree, Santa Claus, a snowman, the Snow Maiden. The patron saint of 2017 according to the eastern calendar – the Fire Rooster – must be present in the picture.

When the first player draws one element of the picture, he removes the blindfold and passes it to the second player, who will have to continue the drawing blindfolded. The team whose drawing is the most beautiful wins.

"Crocodile"

A classic game that both adults and children enjoy playing. Two people start playing, the first makes a wish for the second New Year's tale or a song. The second player, without the help of words, but only by showing with facial expressions and body, tries to convey to the other participants what was wished for him. The player who guessed correctly comes out, and the one who just showed the hidden fairy tale or song comes up with a new one for the winning child.

The game can last as long as the children are interested in playing it. Since the coming year will be the Year of the Fire Rooster, in addition to New Year's songs and fairy tales, you can expand the list of riddled phrases and words to those related to the Rooster and the eastern horoscope.

Adults love games and competitions for the New Year no less than children. In 2017, try to come up with as much entertainment as possible for all guests in order to appease the Fire Rooster with fun and laughter.

Competitions for adults should be selected depending on the company. If you have invited the whole family, including grandparents, then consider several calm competitions where they will not need to run and jump. If among the invitees there are only young people, then the competitions can be a little “piquant”.

"Snow Sniper"

This competition for the New Year 2017 involves the presence of 2 buckets and many lumps of cotton wool. Guests are divided into two or three teams, depending on their number. Each team is given same number lumps of cotton wool that will replace snowballs. A bucket is placed at a distance of 5-7 meters, and each team begins to throw snowballs into it. The smaller the bucket, the harder it will be to get into it, so if you want to make the competition more challenging, use children's buckets or even glasses. The team that manages to throw the most snowballs into the container wins.

To make this New Year's competition even more enjoyable for the Fire Rooster, the symbol of 2017, you can exchange snowballs for grains, and buckets for small glasses. This will make the competition unusual and more challenging.

"Fees"

A fun competition for the New Year 2017 for adults - “Gatherings”. The only props you will need for it are mittens. To participate in the competition, the host selects all guests whose clothes are fastened with buttons. Anyone can join them and receive mittens. The task of the player wearing mittens is to gather his partner for the holiday. To do this, he needs to put a shirt on him and fasten all the buttons (even on the sleeves). The team that completes its task the fastest wins.

The competition can become even funnier if the person wearing the mittens wears a festive cap. But you need to put it on your face, not your head, so that it looks like a bird’s beak. This detail will not only prevent participants from taking a closer look at the buttons to make them easier to fasten, but will also please the patron of the coming year - the Fire Rooster.

"Princess on the Pea"

“The Princess and the Pea” is an excellent competition for the New Year 2017 for a cheerful youth company. Only girls participate in it. The presenter places chairs behind each girl. They stand with their backs to the chair, and at this time small objects are placed on it (grains, caramels, construction parts, etc.). Sitting on a chair behind her, the participant must guess what is on the chair and how many pieces. The participant who is closest to the correct answer wins.

If all the guests understand the jokes, then you can put nothing on one chair or place a drawing with the image of the Fire Rooster - the symbol of 2017. Then the girl will try for a very long time to understand what she sat on, especially if several girls in front of her have already given the correct answers.

"Who am I"

Another cool competition for the New Year 2017 - “Who am I.” To organize it, you only need sticky notes, a marker and a stopwatch. All guests are divided into teams so that each has an equal number of participants. One player from the team takes turns, the leader sticks a sticker on his forehead with a noun already written on it. The word must be somehow related to the holiday.

A participant with a sticker on his forehead begins to ask questions: “Am I alive?”, “Am I an actor?”, “I have magical abilities?”, and players from his team can only answer “yes” or “no”. You shouldn't guess the most simple words, otherwise the competition will be too easy. Once a player guesses who they are, the next team comes into play. In this case, the presenter detects exact time, for which a player from each team managed to guess who he was. Next, the second team members come out, etc. The team that completes its task the fastest wins.

This competition is good because it can last as long as you like, and absolutely all guests can participate in it - from children to grandparents. Such a competition for the New Year 2017 for the whole family will please the Fire Rooster, and it will definitely bring good luck to your home.

“How you celebrate the New Year is how you will spend it” - remember this saying when you plan a festive night. The more fun, laughter and smiles there are, the happier the coming 2017 will be for you.

Try, together with your whole family, to think in advance about how to celebrate the New Year 2017. Dream about what it will be like for you, make a list of wishes and goals. And, of course, don’t forget to come up with a plan in advance festive table, choose for yourself and your children, and for all your family and friends.

New Year is a holiday that children look forward to. Every parent dreams of organizing an interesting evening for their child, so that the holiday is bright and memorable for a long time. Some prefer to order a whole performance with the participation of fairy-tale characters, while others independently organize a holiday for their children and their friends. In any case, such an event is not complete without competitions.

Active competitions for children

While the fun is in full swing and the children are not yet tired, they will be interested in participating in fun and funny competitions. Standard competitions that are present at every holiday quickly get boring, so on New Year 2017 it is worth offering little fidgets games that are associated with the symbol of the coming year - the rooster.

  1. Fascinating and very fun game- “finish the cockerel.” It consists in the fact that the guys are divided into 2 teams, the participants of each take turns drawing the tail, head, comb, and beard to the finished body of the rooster. The difficulty is that this must be done with eyes closed. The results always cause a storm of emotions in children.
  2. The active game “collect chickens” will appeal to every child. For this, children will need to be divided into 2 teams. In each, you need to choose a captain who will be the “chicken”. You should prepare small balls in advance yellow color. You can make them by crumpling up sheets of yellow paper. A large bag with cutouts for the legs is put on the “chicken”. On command, the participants begin to collect the balls into the captain’s “pants”. Those who have the most “chickens” win.
  3. If there are not many children, a competition is suitable, in which there is no need to divide into teams. 2017 is the year of the Red Fire Rooster, so red is the color of choice. The task for the children is to find as many objects of this color as possible in the room. The winner is the one who has the most items of this shade. Children's ingenuity knows no bounds, so the trophy may be mom's hairpin or dad's tie.

It is worth stocking up on small souvenirs in advance for fidgets, because gifts for victory always cause joy and a storm of emotions.

Calm games at the New Year's table

When children are tired, you can offer them quiet competitions. This will help them calm down and relax in between active games and at the end of the holiday. When riddles and charades are boring, they offer Interesting games, which do not require special activity.

  1. "Snowballs." A favorite game for children, but at home it seems unrealistic to many, but in vain. It is necessary to prepare the surface; a table is perfect. You should draw a line on it or put a point dividing the surface into 2 parts. For the competition you will need a light ball. You need to play in pairs, everyone sits with different sides. The ball is placed in the middle on the line, each participant begins to blow on it with all his might. The one who blows the ball away to the opponent wins. It will be more interesting if you make a gate from scrap materials, then you will need to hit it with a snowball.
  2. “What a beast I am” - fun competition, in which adults can also join. Everyone comes up with an animal and writes it on a piece of paper. You can't show it to others. On command, a piece of paper with the name must be glued to the forehead of the neighbor on the right. A person must guess what kind of animal he is, and he can ask questions that can be answered “yes” or “no.” An exciting game can drag on for a long time, causing bursts of laughter.
  3. "ABC on the table." The first child is asked to find ingredients with a certain letter in the dishes on the table. When the task is completed, he offers his letter to the next participant.
  4. Prepare several pairs of sticks. Place small foods (peas, corn, etc.) on plates in front of the participants and place a glass next to them. On command, children begin to use chopsticks to transfer food from a plate to a glass. The winner is the one who completes the task faster with minimal losses.

Alternating competitions and rewarding the winners will allow children to have fun and not get tired or overexcited. Incentive prizes for each participant at the end of the holiday will leave pleasant memories and unforgettable emotions.

EVERY SOUL IS HAPPY FOR THE HOLIDAY

New Year 2017 has the character of the Fire Rooster. And this is a cocky, active bird. Therefore, sadly celebrating this holiday at the table with salads and aspic is not a good idea.

Allow your guests to stretch their legs and spend time not only pleasantly, but also having fun. After all, games on New Year's Eve should also correspond to the owner of the year.

Since the coming year is the year of the Red Rooster, a game with eggs couldn’t come at a better time. For each participating man, three eggs are prepared on a plate. One raw and two cooked. They must be smashed one by one with your forehead. Everyone expects it to be raw. But all the eggs turn out to be boiled. Although the prevailing expectation of “turmoil” amuses everyone, and makes the participants nervous and laugh.

WHO AM I

Quite an interesting New Year's competition that can bring a lot of positive emotions and make the mood truly festive. As for the props, you will need several masks of various animal characters. A participant is selected, sits on a chair in front of the audience, closes his eyes, while the presenter puts a mask on his face. The participant must understand what kind of animal they turned him into? The audience periodically gives hints, but only to make it difficult for the hero of the competition to guess. In order to diversify the competition, the task can be slightly modified. Now the player himself will ask the audience about the characteristics of his character, and the audience must categorically answer the player’s questions - yes or no. All this continues until the participant in the competition understands whose mask he is wearing.

WHAT WILL I TAKE WITH ME FOR THE NEW YEAR?

Players name out loud the items they would like to take with them on New Year's Day, and they can take both animate and non-animate items. Well, think for yourself, maybe someone will want to take it with them next year Toothbrush, but you and I cannot forbid him to take with him a Wonderful mood. But let's get back to the rules! First, the player must say his name and only then begin to list what he would take with him into 2017. This could be a bottle of champagne, a box of chocolates, etc. Now actually how to conduct it: we divide the people in twos, bring the first couple to the table, on which our gifts actually lie. Nearby there should be beautiful wrapping paper, ribbons, flowers, bows, etc. What's the catch? - you ask! Here's what: one of the participants right hand takes the other by the left, and they put both hands back, behind the back. As a result, one of them remains free left hand, the other has the right one. These are the handles they should use to wrap the gift. Whoever can do it more beautifully will be the winner! Naturally the audience appreciates it.

NEW YEAR'S CINEMA FANS

Let's try to test the cinematic knowledge of our favorite guests. The one who names the most New Year's paintings wins.

We will use a paper ring as a sports equipment. To do this: use scissors to cut out a circle with a diameter of 25 cm from thick cardboard, and in it there is another one, but of a smaller diameter - about 20 cm. Hooray! So we have a ring! Now about how to actually conduct the competition. The participant takes the ring in his hand, moves away from the place where we placed our bottles at a distance of 2.5 - 3 meters, and throws it! The participant takes out a piece of paper from there with his hand, reads it to himself, naturally does not pronounce this word, but tries to depict it on the board using a drawing. Viewers are trying to guess what this “Picasso” wants to tell them with his art. Well, whoever says the word first gets the long-awaited prize.

CHINESE CHOPSTICKS

You will need several sets of Chinese chopsticks, depending on the number of participants in the competition. Don't worry, we don't have to call and order Chinese food. For this, canned corn or green peas will be enough. But if this is not the case, you can also use grapes, which will definitely be on the table. The participants are seated at the table and each one is given the same ill-fated sticks. Place exactly the same number of peas on the plates, or whatever you decide to put there. The host notes the time and the participants begin their quick lunch. You can only eat with chopsticks! And when the time runs out (about a minute) we begin to count the number of remaining peas. Whoever has fewer of them left wins. And whoever ate them before the end of time means he won in advance!

For this competition you need to prepare paper Christmas tree decorations in the shape of a rooster. Make them colorful and add a paper clip or string so that they can easily be hung on the Christmas tree. Participants are divided into teams. They are given “cockerel” toys. While one of the blindfolded participants tries to reach the tree and hang the toy, the other one tells him the right path and supports him. The winner will be the couple that hangs up their “cockerels” faster.

FRUIT PARADISE

We will need various fruits: bananas, apples, kiwi, etc. Place them on a large plate. Whoever surprises the audience with his masterpiece the most wins a prize!

On pieces of paper we write funny and interesting situations that may happen to our guests in the New Year. For example: someone will buy themselves a car, underwear, shave their beard, get a haircut, etc. Participants take turns pulling out our prepared leaves with wishes and reading them out loud. But before these, they always say the phrase: “In 2017, I will definitely...”. Lots of laughter guaranteed!

MAKE A WORD

This competition is more suitable for New Year's corporate party when people sit in small groups at separate tables. We prepare cards with letters in advance. We write the letters so that they can be used to form words: New Year, rooster, Snow Maiden, etc. We hide our cards on each table, under the dishes, maybe in napkins. At the command of the host, guests begin to look for letters and form their own word from them. Whose table does it faster gets a gift.

BLIND DRAWING

Let's try to reveal the artistic talents of our participants. For this you will need: sheets of A1 format in which you will need to cut holes for the hands. The sheet should be positioned vertically, and when the participant puts their hands through it, the top of the sheet should cover their face. We give out two felt-tip pens in each hand, and ask them to draw the face of Father Frost, the Snow Maiden, a cockerel, or anyone else. And since you have to draw on back side, without seeing what you are drawing, the faces should turn out very funny. Well, be sure to give a prize to the most talented artist.

NEW YEAR'S HARVEST

This competition will require many different fruits, mainly round shape: tangerines, oranges, apples, kiwis, lemons, etc. We randomly lay them out on the table, blindfold the participant, place an empty basket next to him and give him the task: to collect only certain fruits from all the fruits (at your discretion). Naturally, this needs to be done for a while. Whoever does it faster and without mistakes wins.

DANCING

We divide the guests into pairs: girl + guy. We select in advance musical compositions, and to make it more interesting, we will make a varied repertoire, from ballroom dancing to fiery Latin music. We turn on the first composition and ask the couples to show their choreographic abilities. When the song ends, the audience applauds the dancing skills of our couples. The one who receives the weakest ovation is eliminated. We turn on the next composition, and so on until we have a couple of winners left.

HOW I GOT THERE

In advance, on A4 sheets, we print the names of interesting and strange places in large letters. It could be: “Beer bar”, “Strip club”, “Work”, “Mental hospital”, “Director’s office”, “Sobering-up station”, “Venereologist’s office”, etc. We turn the participants with their backs to the audience and hang them Our pre-prepared pieces of paper are placed on their backs. The presenter begins to ask questions: “How did you end up there?”, “Did you like it there?”, “Do you often go there?”, “How do your loved ones feel about you being there and why?”, “When will you go back there?” Participants take turns answering them!

PASS THE TANDARINE

We put the chairs in a row and close to each other. We seat the participants on them and tell them to clench their knees tightly. The last participant needs to put a tangerine on his knees. We give the task: pass this fruit to the participant sitting next to him, but without using his hands. And so on down the chain. It turns out very funny!

ICE

We will need frozen pieces of ice. Guests, at the command of the host, take a piece of ice and try with everyone possible ways melt it quickly. You can blow, warm with your hands, etc. Whoever can do it faster will be our winner!

The player pulls out a card and reads to himself what is written on it. With the help of facial expressions and gestures, he tries to portray our mysterious character. At this time, the audience is trying to guess who it is!

New Year's competitions for the youngest children (preschool age)

Children preschool age They love competitions for cohesion - it is not important for them that there must be a winner, just words that friendship has won are enough. However, the game should be active enough so that kids don’t lose interest.

"Speed"

Divide the guys into two teams. Give those who stand first large spoons, preferably wooden ones. Place a small unbreakable ball in each of these spoons - this is important, because playing with glass is too dangerous.

To the sound of cheerful music, children must run to the indicated goal (for example, to a chair on the opposite side), and then return to their team and pass the spoon, and so on until the last participant.

Prizes can be awarded as follows:

  • a team whose members completed the task earlier;
  • a team whose members dropped the ball less often;
  • separately for the child who has never dropped the ball.

"Bad Memory"

Children really like music competitions, especially when they also need to prove themselves. Prepare a stanza of some famous children's song in advance:

A friend will not leave you in trouble,

He won’t say anything offensive

This is what a true, faithful friend means!

Usually kids know these songs well, so it won’t be difficult for them to name the mistakes in the verse. Give the one who named them first some kind of sweet prize, and also play a song with original words for a couple of moments - it will be a good musical break, during which the children can dance for thirty to forty seconds.

"Cold"

First, present to the kids a sketch about how the Snow Maiden walked home for a long, long time in a strong snowstorm and was very cold. Because of this, her hands froze (it is advisable at this moment to demonstrate some blue gloves worn on the hands of an adult playing the Snow Maiden). In order to help Santa Claus's granddaughter recover, you need to play an outdoor game.

Gather the children around the leader. The rules are simple: energetic music plays, the guys walk in a circle. Suddenly the song turns off, and the adult says that he will freeze - “I’ll freeze my nose!” Round dance participants must quickly cover their nose with their hand. The one who doesn't have time is eliminated. At the end, the remaining two or three children solemnly remove the Snow Maiden’s blue mittens and also receive prizes from her (toys, candies, etc.).

"Time of Wishes"

IN home environment New Year is usually celebrated with big amount relatives. Children usually have an idea of the character and habits of their grandparents and so on. The task is as follows: the child must guess what their loved ones will wish for the New Year.

The prize is awarded:

  • for each wish guessed (if there is only one child, keep in mind that you can play along);
  • for the number of wishes guessed (if there are two or more children).

"Candy"

Don't little children love sweets? Decorate the Christmas tree with candies and blindfold the child. Within a certain time, he must collect and eat the treat by touch.

Competitions for the 2017 New Year for children 6-10 years old

At this age, children love to show off their knowledge, since they are already going to school and for them this is an achievement. Therefore, this point should be used in competitions.

"Dress up the Christmas tree"

At first glance, the competition is quite familiar, but everything is not so simple. We divide the children into small groups of three or four people and give each team a small artificial Christmas tree and a small bag of toys. Things from the bag need to be attached to the tree so that it turns out beautiful and elegant.

You can't just put it in a bag ordinary decorations. Show your imagination and put something there that an ordinary person would never think of hanging on a Christmas tree - a cup, a protractor, and so on. How more unusual item- all the better.

You can complicate the task and blindfold the participants - let them decorate the Christmas trees by touch.

"Journey"

To conduct the competition, you need to collect information in advance about how the New Year is celebrated in different countries peace. Then there are two possible options:

  • conduct a game in the form of a quiz so that participants can guess the country themselves;
  • provide participants with information on pieces of paper and tell them to try to depict what is written there, so that others can guess the country. The one who guesses gets the right to show next.

For example, in Italy there is a tradition of eating twelve grapes for the New Year, and a child can demonstrate this.

"Going to the Library"

The competition is perfect for a room where there is a closet with books, and they do not lie too high. Or you can place several adults next to the small library who will help the children.

Santa Claus has a bag of gifts, but he won’t just give them away! He prepared riddle tasks for the children, the answers to which have already been prepared and are in certain books. The presenter simply gives the contestant a piece of paper on which is written: the shelf number, the book number according to the account (right or left), as well as the numbers of the two pages between which the piece of paper is inserted.

The child must say the code word from the piece of paper in order to receive the gift.

The competition is only suitable for small company(two or three children), because with a large number of children chaos will begin on the bookshelves.

"Search"

Prepare some bright, noticeable props. Eg:

  • pencils of the same color;
  • colored ribbons (red, yellow or orange);

These things need to be hidden around the house. Participants compete with each other to see who can quickly find the necessary things.

Another option for the game is to hide letters around the house so that the children can find them and make up some word related to the New Year.

"From what was at hand"

During the celebration, a lot of tangerines and oranges are eaten. Why not keep the kids busy? Invite them to make the most beautiful and unusual Christmas tree decoration from fruit or its peelings.

This competition will require the help of adults. It is also better to carry it out when the child is already tired after active games.

New Year's competitions for teenagers

Teenagers are hard to please, but it’s quite possible to come up with an interesting New Year’s competition for them too. It should be based on a mixture of children's and adult games. Active games should be alternated with calm ones.

"Modern processing"

For this competition, you need to prepare popular songs in advance, but not in their usual form, but in a slightly modified one. To do this, run the text through a translator in advance (for example, insert a Russian verse, translate it into English, then into Hebrew, and then back into Russian). It is advisable to take small choruses to make it interesting.

“How much can you say?”

It is necessary to prepare artificial snowballs (from cotton wool, for example). Divide the teenagers into small teams of three or four people, select two scorers, whose task is to take turns throwing snowballs at the teams. The task of the group members is to catch the balls, trying to do it so that as few as possible fall to the floor.

More complex version: team members are not allowed to move.

"New Year's Mafia"

This New Year competition for children 14-15 years old is built on the principle of the famous card game"Mafia". You need to prepare character cards in advance and choose a leader (he has no role).

The plot of the game: some Wolves led by the Old Wolf (gift thieves) robbed Santa Claus. Now he is looking for criminals, and the Snow Maiden and peaceful celebrants who really want to receive their gifts help him in this. The problem is that at night the peaceful celebrants sleep, and Father Frost and the Snow Maiden are left alone with the Wolves, and during the day the gift thieves pretend to be peaceful celebrants...

Positive characters:

  • Santa Claus (1 pc.) - plays the role of the Commissioner, his task is to recognize the role of one of the players every night in order to help peaceful celebrants identify the gift thieves;
  • Snow Maiden (1-2 pcs.) – plays the role of the Doctor, her task is to treat one of the characters every night, thereby saving him from leaving the game;
  • peaceful celebrants (from 2-3 pieces) - civilians whose only weapon is their voice, since they sleep at night.

Negative characters (gift thieves):

  • Wolves (from 2 pcs.; depending on the number of players) - play the role of Mafiosi, have the right every night, after consulting, to remove one character from the game from among the peaceful celebrants;
  • Old Wolf (1 pc.) – plays the role of Mafia Don, main enemy Santa Claus (Commissioner), whom he is looking for at night, learning about it from the host (in one night, the Old Wolf can check only one player, the host will tell him whether it is Santa Claus or not).

Additional roles (if there are many players):

  • Fox (1 pc.) – plays the role of a Thief, at night he can rob any character, depriving him of his turn and the right to vote for a day, but plays for peaceful celebrants;
  • Bear (1 pc.) - plays the role of a Maniac, plays for himself, his main goal is to take everyone out of the game, during the day he pretends to be a peaceful celebrant.

The basic principles on which the “New Year’s Mafia” is built are the ability to deceive and persuade. It is forbidden to disclose your roles. During the daytime voting, each player expresses his opinion, says who he suspects and who he puts up for voting. For example, players A and B were put up for voting. If seven people vote for A and eight vote for B, then player B is eliminated from the game.

The presenter must have experience in the game, because you need to carefully monitor the process and not miss anything. During the day, he announces the results of the night (did Father Frost correctly point out the Wolves, who was cured by the Snow Maiden, who was taken out of the game by the Wolves, who was deprived of a move and voice by the Fox, who was taken out of the game by the Bear).

The winning team (peaceful celebrants or gift thieves) receives a prize at the discretion of the presenter.

"Staying Alive"

The presenter announces to the participants that they are on a desert island. You need to prepare a “test” in advance - an excuse for the player to drop out of the game and “sail away” from the island. Players need to justify why they should stay, based on their personal qualities, hobbies, and skills. By voting, the teenager who performed less convincingly is selected and is eliminated from the game. The presenter must also prepare a punishment for the loser in advance.

Examples of "challenges" (one player must leave the island because...):

  • there is not enough food for everyone;
  • The huts were built in such a way that there was no room for one person.

"Choose Right"

The competition is structured as follows: the presenter puts on the table a box containing either some New Year's souvenir, or counterfeit banknotes. The spectators are divided into two flanks: some persuade them to choose a prize, others persuade them to take the money (no one except the presenter knows that they are fake). The presenter, in turn, praises both gifts. The player's task is to make a choice. He takes for himself what he prefers.

Competitions for the 2017 New Year for a group of children of different ages

If there are children at the party of different ages, then it is necessary to lure them into a game that will be based on support and help. The older ones can be at one with the younger ones, who are not yet capable of being independent competitors, but, nevertheless, are already showing character.

"Wrong" New Year's crocodile

Divide the children into teams of two. It is advisable to have an older and a younger child on the same team, it will be easier. Prepare cards in advance with the words that need to be shown, as well as various new Year decoration, toys, candy...

It’s very easy to show the word without unnecessary props in your hands. How, for example, can you show a teapot if you’re holding a New Year’s garland? The competition should prove the team's cohesion. One participant shows the word, and the second responds “yes” or “no” to the other players’ attempts to guess the word.

You can time it. If they guess the word, then the team has the right to take back the props that they had.

“Put on your hat!”

For this children's New Year's competition you will need a bag with New Year's hats from Father Frost or Snow Maiden. Children are divided into small groups (three to four people in each). At the command of the presenter, accompanied by cheerful music, participants compete with each other to see who can put the most hats on their heads. The winner advances to the finals, where the winners of all groups will compete.

The winner of the final receives one of the hats, which he chooses for himself.

"Balloons"

Inflate in advance Balloons, inside which you need to put notes with simple tasks. It is better to divide the children into pairs (one pair should have an older and a younger player to make it easier for small children). You need to burst the ball without using your hands, take the task and complete it.

Examples of tasks:

  • depict an animal - a symbol of the coming year;
  • sing your favorite New Year's song.

"New Year's Mummy"

The children again need to be divided into pairs and given to each New Year's garlands. Within a certain time, a person must wrap a garland around his partner from head to toe and escort him to New Year's table, where to feed tangerines. The faster the team completes this task, the better. The prize is at the discretion of the presenter.

"Holiday Carnival"

Put a variety of clothes in your basket, some funny and some not so funny. There should be everything there, from masks to national clothes and headscarves. While the music is playing, the players dance and pass the basket to each other. When the music stops, the person holding the basket must take one thing out of it without looking and put it on himself.

In the end, everyone looks very funny.

It is advisable to play the game in a family circle, since when there are a lot of people, there simply is not enough clothing for everyone, and there is no comic effect in this regard.
