Please let me go for a walk,” Ray asked the Sun one day. “I’ve never been on earth before or seen people up close.”

“Okay,” said the Sun, “I will turn you into a Sunny Bunny and you will visit one of the people’s houses.” But you must remember that the Sun among people is a symbol of light, goodness and peace. And you will be my messenger. And that’s why I want the day you spend among people not to be in vain. Before I let you go, I want to make you promise that you will do three good deeds.

“Okay,” said Luchik. – I will definitely do three good deeds. And, transformed into a Sunny Bunny, he ended up in one of the houses.

The first thing Sunny Bunny saw there was a sleeping girl. He walked down the wall onto the bed, ran over the blanket and stopped at her face. The girl opened her eyes, looked at her watch and exclaimed:

- It’s good that the Sun came into the room, otherwise I would certainly be late for school. “And, leaving the bed, the girl began to quickly get dressed.

“I’ve already done one good deed,” Sunny Bunny happily noted to himself.

He got down from the bed to the floor, quickly ran along the path, easily climbed onto the sideboard and, sitting comfortably on the box with buttons, began to look around with interest in search of an object for further good deeds.

“Oh,” he suddenly heard someone’s heavy sigh next to him. Sunny Bunny looked first to the left, then to the right and saw a porcelain vase next to him.

- Are you the one who sighed so heavily? – he politely addressed the vase.

“Yes,” the vase answered sadly. “All winter I’ve been collecting dust on this sideboard and there’s no one to wipe the dust off me.”

“Well, I’ll try to help you,” said the Sunny Bunny, after thinking a little, and moved from the box to the vase.

The hostess entered the room. A brightly lit but dusty vase immediately caught her eye. When the hostess left the room and returned again with a damp cloth, Sunny Bunny thought joyfully.

- Here is the second good deed.

Before lunch, Sunny Bunny did not have the opportunity to perform his last good deed. In order not to waste time, he moved from the room to the kitchen and there he stood anxiously in place.

In the kitchen, Sunny Bunny saw a small fluffy kitten. The kitten was hanging on one end of the tablecloth and climbing up. With each of his movements, the tablecloth slid down more and more, and with it the tea set menacingly moved to the edge of the table. Another minute or two and disaster would have happened. Sunny Bunny realized that there was no one to prevent Sunny Bunny.

Quickly deciding what to do, Sunny Bunny jumped from the floor straight onto the kitten’s nose. The kitten closed its eyes, snorted and jumped onto the floor. Sunny Bunny sighed with relief, thinking about the saved set:

- This is the third good deed. It's time to go home.

Sunny Bunny moved from the kitchen to the room, jumped onto the windowsill and was about to leave this house through open window, when suddenly I heard someone’s plaintive buzzing. I listened. The buzzing came from behind the sideboard, the darkest corner in the room. Without hesitation, he quickly ran across the ceiling and, looking behind the sideboard, saw a spider sitting in its web. A fly fluttered convulsively next to him.

“It’s so good that you looked here,” the fly turned to the Sunny Bunny, delighted. “Of course, I understand that you are no longer able to help me, but you can save others who are just as careless as me.” Please stay here for a while. Flies love light, and they will certainly fly here and see that they are in danger of dying here.

Sunny Bunny, without hesitation, agreed to the fly’s offer and stayed. Less than three minutes had passed when two flies flew behind the sideboard. They immediately saw the spider and flew away.

“Now they will tell everyone that an evil spider lives here,” said the captive fly, looking sadly after the flies that had flown away.

When the Sunny Bunny flew back to the Sun and turned into a Ray again, he said:

- It's my fault…

- What is your fault? – the Sun smiled.

- Instead of the promised three actions, I performed four.

“That’s good,” said the Sun. – The more we do good deeds, the more beautiful the world around us becomes. And this is certainly good. Tomorrow you will fly to people again. And if this time you do not three or four, but five or six good deeds, then it will only be better.

“Tomorrow I will try to do much more than I did today,” said Luchik. “I saw it today and realized how good it is when it’s good.”

And you, dear guys, have probably already noticed that when on a sunny day sunbeams appear on the walls of your rooms, your mood noticeably rises and you certainly have a desire to do something nice for someone.

Mikhail Malyshev

Just as Freckles had time to think about why Mr. Dark needed to enter the Land of Sunny Bunnies, suddenly a huge owl with green glowing eyes flew out of the darkness, and with it several bats. Mister Dark waved his cloak, throwing it off himself. The owl and the mice picked up the cloak in flight and disappeared with it into the darkness. The frightened Freckle turned his head, looking for Mr. Dark. But he disappeared.

The boy only noticed that some shadow flashed from the cloak and slipped into the pocket of his jacket. But Freckles immediately forgot about it. And I immediately forgot about Mister Dark. He only saw a strange mirror in front of him, which glowed with a faint yellowish light. Some unknown force drew Freckles to this mirror. He came close to him. There was a sparkle right before the boy's eyes mirror glass. Some voice whispered: “Go, go forward!” Obeying this voice, Freckles took a step and closed his eyes, expecting that he was about to hit his forehead on the glass. But no! He easily passed through the mirror, as if in open door. Stepping his feet, the boy seemed to float through the air without any tension or effort. His body was light, weightless, as in a dream. At first, Freckles couldn't see anything ahead. He moved in some kind of yellow, golden fog.

Then gradually this fog cleared, and the Country of Sunny Bunnies opened up before Freckle. It seemed to the boy that he was in a huge, extraordinary flower garden.

Never in his life had he seen so many flowers at once. Yes, on earth it was, perhaps, impossible. Because next to the first, fragile snowdrop flowers, the later snowdrops grew here - autumn asters and chrysanthemums.

All the flowers that exist in nature bloomed here at the same time.

Slender, proud irises and shy matthiola. Smug narcissists and modest marigolds. Dazzling blood-red cannas and inconspicuous indoor primrose. Pansies peeked out from behind lush peonies, and the snapdragon comically stuck out its pink lips. And the silver bells of the lilies of the valley trembled quietly...

At first glance, it seemed that the flowers were growing here without any order, like in a forest or field. But when Freckles looked closer, he saw that, intertwining with each other, the flowers formed extraordinary houses - with windows, with doors, with beautiful porches and verandas.

It was in these flower houses that the Sunny Bunnies lived.

Freckles stopped near the first house he came across. Behind a low fence of daisies lies flower garden. Along the paths, sprinkled with yellow pollen, roses, gladioli, lilies, and dahlias grew in even rows. Under them, like bushes under trees, grew nasturtiums, violets, and snowdrops. And in the depths of the garden, on the shore of a small mirror lake, in the middle of which there was a gazebo made of water lilies, there stood a house. Or, rather, the house did not stand, but grew. Because it was big bush jasmine, whose branches were intricately intertwined and formed walls, windows, a roof and even a turret above the roof, on top of which, like a weather vane, swayed White flower. The windows had lace curtains made of lilies of the valley, and marigolds served as window sills. The veranda of the house was made of cornflowers. In the middle of the veranda, in an armchair made of soft, fluffy chrysanthemum, the old Sunny Hare was dozing. A sunny Hare in a white apron was sweeping the floor with a clover flower.

And from the lake came screams and loud laughter. There, on rose petals, like on boats, the nimble Sunny Bunnies rode on the water; they must have been just as naughty as any other children.

Freckles stood undecided. He wanted to look into the house, but he was a well-mannered boy and knew well that he should not enter without knocking. And there was nothing to knock on. But then Freckles noticed that a blue forest bell was growing near the veranda, from which a cobweb stretched straight to the gate. The boy tugged lightly on the web. Immediately a pleasant silver ringing sound was heard, and four flowers snapdragon which served as a gate, bowed their heads to the ground, letting the guest through. The Hare and the Hare were already hurrying towards Freckles, smiling welcomingly. And the Sunny Bunnies, rushing from the lake, peeked out from behind the flowers with curiosity. The owners were not at all surprised by the boy’s appearance and received him very cordially. After all, the one who ended up in the Land of Sunny Bunnies could not be an enemy, otherwise the magic mirror simply would not have allowed him in. This means he is a friend and a welcome guest.

The old Sunny Hare's name was Uncle Yas, his wife's name was Aunt Tasya.

The little Bunnies did not yet have names: there was a custom in the country according to which the Sunny Bunnies had the right to a name only when they became independent and began to do good deeds.

Well, mother, set the table,” said Uncle Yas, “first of all, the guest must be treated.”

Freckles did not refuse. Firstly, so as not to offend the owners, and secondly, because I was pretty hungry. Sitting on a very soft and comfortable chrysanthemum, he was already looking forward to a hearty, good lunch. Imagine his surprise when Aunt Tasya, spreading a napkin made from a water lily petal in front of everyone, put a bouquet of flowers on the table and said:

Please help yourself.

Freckles blinked his eyes in confusion, not seeing what he could treat himself to. And the owners chose a flower from the bouquet and began to smell it, smacking their lips with pleasure. Freckles had no choice but to follow their example. And he was even more surprised when he suddenly felt that his hunger was disappearing with every second.

It turned out that Sunny Bunnies feed exclusively on the smell of flowers. And whoever comes to their country also switches to such food.

It was an amazing lunch: hot spicy cloves for the first course, jasmine for the second course, sweet lungwort for the third course.

Jasmine was Uncle Yasya's favorite food. In one sitting he could sniff out ten flowers. That’s why Uncle Yas grew a jasmine house for himself.

After lunch, Uncle Yas took Freckles into the garden. He showed him various strange flowers, told him why they were wonderful, where and when they bloom on earth, what diseases they help people against, and so on. It was very interesting, and Freckles listened attentively.

So, while talking, they approached a large flower bed, which was located in the center of the garden. Surrounding the flower that grew in the middle in a tight ring, bearded, red-headed cannas, slender irises, poppies, and tulips froze here, as if on a guard of honor. The thin-legged daffodils bowed their proud heads to the one who grew in the middle. And a small, ordinary, yellow dandelion grew there.

Yes, an ordinary, unremarkable dandelion that grows literally everywhere - in the field, in the forest, on roads, on the street, on the roofs of old houses and even in a city yard, making its way along with the grass through the cracks between the cobblestones. The same dandelion that people often don’t notice and trample underfoot. And here he was surrounded with special honor and attention.

Freckles asked why this was so.

And this is what he found out.

It turns out that dandelions are the favorite flowers of the Sunny Bunnies. You've probably noticed how they look like the sun - round, dazzling yellow, and the petals spread out in all directions like rays.

In one of spring days early in the morning, all the Sunny Bunnies that exist in the world fly to earth. And, if people had magic eyes, they would see how the Sunny Bunnies with their paws open the tight buds of dandelions, and then suddenly many small yellow suns flash among the green sea of grass. Dandelions are blooming.

People believe that the first spring flowers are snowdrops, dream, and violets.

It's true, they appear before dandelions. But when the dandelions bloom, the sun is already shining really warmly and brightly, and the trees are turning green with all their might, and the Christmas tree chestnut candles are burning festively. Spring is in full swing.

Dandelions are the longest lasting spring flowers. Snowdrops, and dream, and violets have long since faded, and until the new spring people have forgotten their smell, the gardens have already bloomed and strawberries have appeared in the forest, and dandelions are still turning yellow in the grass, and children are still weaving wreaths from them. Until autumn you can see blooming dandelions in the grass.

Dandelions bloom only when the sun is shining. As soon as it disappears behind the horizon and evening comes, the dandelions immediately, like an umbrella, fold their petals and close. And only with the first morning rays do they bloom again.

Dandelions are the faithful friends of Sunny Bunnies. They always warn them of danger. Before a thunderstorm, that is, when the Thunderclouds begin to gather in the sky, dandelions also fold their petals. And the Sunny Bunnies already know: they need to prepare for battle.

Dandelions also have one more extraordinary property: they do not wither like all other flowers, they grow old and die like people. When the time comes, their yellow heads are covered with gray hairs - white fluffy hairs. The wind tears them off and spreads them across the ground. Sometimes children help him with this. Having fun, they blow off the gray heads of the dandelions, and the dandelions die silently and obediently. A White hair fall to the ground, and flowers grow from them again.

All this is because dandelions are not ordinary flowers, but magical ones. They are bred on the ground by Sunny Bunnies.

That must be why children love dandelions so much, perhaps more than all other flowers.

Freckles looked at the dandelion with respect: so what a wonderful flower it is!

Well, now,” said Uncle Yas, “let’s go, I’ll take you to the Castle.” Magic Tales. I think you might find this interesting. By the way, on the way we’ll go with you to the Palace of Laughter.

And they walked along the wide streets, which were more like alleys of a huge blooming garden than the streets. The Sunny Bunnies they met greeted Freckles warmly: anyone who found themselves in the Land of Sunny Bunnies immediately became one of their own here. Freckles, like a well-bred boy, answered every greeting. Soon they approached the Palace of Laughter. This palace was made entirely of crooked mirrors. Getting into it. Freckles almost burst out laughing, looking at his reflection. How hilarious!

By the way, the Palace of Laughter was medical institution. The Sunny Bunnies believed that laughter was the best cure for all diseases, and prescribed it to the sick: five, ten, twenty minutes of laughter three times a day, as many as needed. Since the Sunny Bunnies themselves were never sick, the inhabitants of the Castle of Fairy Tales were treated in the Palace of Fun.

But, of course, everything is good in moderation. And half an hour later, Uncle Yas took Freckles away from the palace, saying that out of habit, laughing so much at once could even turn out to be harmful.

Sergei Georgiev is one of my favorite writers. A witty, perky, never despondent person who, like no one else, knows how to read his own funny stories. And his stories are mostly short, but succinct. Remember how Chekhov said: “Brevity is the sister of talent”? This is about him, about Georgiev.
There are many of his books in our house. These are my favorites:

"Christmas Trees: Field Marshal Pulkin" (M: Bustard, 2001).
The Munchausen cause is alive and well! 56 funny stories about a brave field marshal who is able to solve any problem and resolve any misunderstanding on the battlefield or during the calm period between battles. No matter what unpleasant thing happens, the Russian soldier knows that now “Yolki-palki!” will be heard, the great Russian Field Marshal Pulkin will appear and turn any tricky situation into a feat.
Color illustrations were made by E. Nitylkina. Pulkin and Co. are drawn masterfully, with humor, matching Georgiev’s prose:

Sergey Georgievich - big friend Children's book shops, so some of our books have autographs:

There is also a two-volume book on sale about Pulkin from the Veche publishing house, also with illustrations by E. Netylkina, however, there are only 40 stories, and the format is a bit small - pocket-sized. But nevertheless, I highly recommend:

In Ozone:

"House of the Sunny Bunny" (M: Drofa, 2001). The collection includes stories about Sanka. Color illustrations by G. Yasinsky.

IN this moment There is a book on the market with stories about the little fidget and dreamer Sanka with lovely illustrations by E. Borodacheva (IDM):
In Ozone:

In Rid.ru: Best friend, author Sergey Georgiev. Buy the book Best Friend in the online bookstore Read.ru

"King Hugo II"(M: Drofa, 2002). Amazing stories about the wise King Hugo II, short, rather not even stories, but anecdotes (read for yourself, you can see it in the photo). The book was illustrated by V. Tsikota.

And another wonderful book of jokes, this time about dragons - "Dragons Among Us" (M: Bustard, 2002). And again drawings by Valery Tsikota. And again I recommend reading a fairy tale called “762 Heads” (it’s on two double-page spreads):

To narrow down the search results, you can refine your query by specifying the fields to search for. The list of fields is presented above. For example:

You can search in several fields at the same time:

Logical operators

The default operator is AND.
Operator AND means that the document must match all elements in the group:

research development

Operator OR means that the document must match one of the values in the group:

study OR development

Operator NOT excludes documents containing this element:

study NOT development

Search type

When writing a query, you can specify the method in which the phrase will be searched. Four methods are supported: search with morphology, without morphology, prefix search, phrase search.
By default, the search is performed taking into account morphology.
To search without morphology, just put a “dollar” sign in front of the words in the phrase:

$ study $ development

To search for a prefix, you need to put an asterisk after the query:

study *

To search for a phrase, you need to enclose the query in double quotes:

" research and development "

Search by synonyms

To include synonyms of a word in the search results, you need to put a hash " # " before a word or before an expression in parentheses.
When applied to one word, up to three synonyms will be found for it.
When applied to a parenthetical expression, a synonym will be added to each word if one was found.
Not compatible with morphology-free search, prefix search, or phrase search.

# study

Grouping

In order to group search phrases you need to use brackets. This allows you to control the Boolean logic of the request.
For example, you need to make a request: find documents whose author is Ivanov or Petrov, and the title contains the words research or development:

Approximate search words

For an approximate search you need to put a tilde " ~ " at the end of a word from a phrase. For example:

bromine ~

When searching, words such as "bromine", "rum", "industrial", etc. will be found.
You can additionally specify maximum amount possible edits: 0, 1 or 2. For example:

bromine ~1

By default, 2 edits are allowed.

Proximity criterion

To search by proximity criterion, you need to put a tilde " ~ " at the end of the phrase. For example, to find documents with the words research and development within 2 words, use the following query:

" research development "~2

Relevance of expressions

To change the relevance of individual expressions in the search, use the " sign ^ " at the end of the expression, followed by the level of relevance of this expression in relation to the others.
The higher the level, the more relevant the expression is.
For example, in this expression, the word “research” is four times more relevant than the word “development”:

study ^4 development

By default, the level is 1. Valid values is a positive real number.

Search within an interval

To indicate the interval in which the value of a field should be located, you should indicate the boundary values in parentheses, separated by the operator TO.
Lexicographic sorting will be performed.

Such a query will return results with an author starting from Ivanov and ending with Petrov, but Ivanov and Petrov will not be included in the result.
To include a value in a range, use square brackets. To exclude a value, use curly braces.
