A tour of French dancer and choreographer Mathilde Monnier, performing with jazz musician Louis Sclavis, has opened at the St. Petersburg Carnival Concert Hall. The enterprise is included in the "French Seasons" program. The short tour, organized by Rosinterfest with the support of AFFA - the French Association for the Promotion of Cultural Relations of the French Foreign Ministry and the participation of the St. Petersburg agency "Visit IE", includes one performance in St. Petersburg and two in Moscow.

He strives to erase any reminder of the beautiful, danceable, aesthetic as attributes of purely ballet, that is, imperial, and therefore anti-democratic. "Protest of the grassroots" takes the most different shapes- from a predilection for overweight, “non-ballet” bodies in the spirit of the characters in Fernand Léger’s paintings to the denial of dance as such.

Mathilde Monnier is an almost perfect embodiment of these tendencies. Her body is tight and awkward, does not come off the ground and seems incapable of either jumping or rotating. This obviously reflects the desire to dance that came rather late, when, in my own words Monnier, “one inevitably gives preference to new forms.” The figure is heavy, not reminiscent of a woman’s in all movements, with pumped up, muscular legs. The stage costume is unpretentious: a blue or flesh-colored thigh-length sleeveless vest and black soft shoes. The choreography of Mathilde Monnier does not belong to any of the existing schools, trends and styles and therefore is called “doing your own”. Its own, as always, is connected with the awareness of a woman’s place in the world around her. The staged "Chinese Trinkets" are several ballet numbers, which involve wrapping arms around the body, squatting and balancing on one leg, as well as attempts at dialogue with Louis Sclavis, among which there is even one support.

It is worth adding to this that Mathilde Monnier is the artistic director of the National Choreographic Center of Montpellier and Languedoc-Roussillon.

Her stage partner Louis Sclavis has a clear, well-articulated musical speech, the intonations of his saxophone and clarinet are distinct, like the intonations of a good dramatic actor. He plays (literally and figuratively) with ease. It is not surprising that Louis Sclavis has been awarded prestigious music awards - the Django Reinhardt Prize for the best jazz musician in France, the Barcelona Biennale Award for the best European creator of new music.

Required device, my computer only has 2 usb and they are located in the back, so this little thing was very useful to me. It is not expensive, less than 150 rubles. I’ve seen similar ones here for 400-600 rubles. It worked well for 4 months (I connected flash drives, a phone, a camera), but the other day I bought a new USB mouse and decided to connect it through this thing, but sometimes the mouse stops working, I have to disconnect it and connect it again.

3. Aqua soil.

Enough strange thing, I didn't like it.

- cloth. Everyone knows that Chinese clothes are most often of poor quality. Of course, there is also good “China”, but its price tag is higher. Personally, I think there is no point in taking risks. I can also order good T-shirts for 200-300 rubles from England, from H&M Finland or Germany, from America on sale, but here I will be confident in the quality of the item itself and will order exactly my size, and not the standard Chinese one (which comes out according to our standards more like 40 rubles). I had the experience of ordering a dress from Chinese store. Review here. I don’t want to yell anymore.
- cosmetics. altogether a separate conversation. composition/date of production - this usually remains a secret, and you can only guess from the coffee grounds whether something will come out on your forehead from such cosmetics. Of course, most likely there are high-quality cosmetics in China, but how do you know that they will send it to you? It's better not to take risks. Nowadays the choice of cosmetics is huge. I ordered an eyeshadow palette and correctors from a similar Chinese site, they are almost new - it’s scary to use)))))
- household appliances. Big risk. Risk, firstly, will they send it to you initially? Secondly, if it’s still working, won’t the Russian Post gouge it out? =)

But never expect miracle goods from this store - otherwise, you may be disappointed. Read reviews (there are reviews for almost every product). By the way, I think that prices for Tinidil are slightly higher than, for example, on the same www.aliexpress.com, probably due to the convenience of the site itself.
