Good day to all! I once saw a Chaser with angel eyes made from an LED strip, and during the day it glowed quite brightly, no worse than running lights. Well, I was inspired to install the same ones on my tea! Only the price for installing them is steep; according to advertisements, for the installation of such “angels” they ask for about 2000-3000 rubles, plus you buy a tape from them (for comparison, everything cost me 500 rubles). What you need for self-installation:

1. LED strip - 4 pieces (I took a length of 48 cm each, white light, because blue is prohibited);
2.oven or hair dryer;
3. wires (preferably thinner, but not so thin that they break)
4.screwdrivers, scissors, and a little patience;

Let's get to work.
1. First of all, remove the headlight; it comes off quite easily. For those who have never done this, I’ll explain: unscrew the screw that holds the turn signal on the headlight and pull off the turn signal.
Then unscrew the 3 bolts that hold the headlight. Take out the light bulbs (personally, I just disconnected the chips from the light bulbs) and remove the headlight

2. Prepare for “loading” into the oven (since I don’t have a hair dryer, I had to heat the sealant this way). We take out the light bulbs and wipe the headlight from dust and dirt. We set the oven to approximately 170-175 degrees, the timer for 5-7 minutes (decide for yourself over time, since all ovens require different amounts of time to heat up), the heating mode is from below and from above, and immerse the headlight in the oven! Personally, I didn’t wait for the timer to turn off, I checked with my hand as soon as the headlight became hot enough, but without burning my hand I pulled it out (because I already had a bitter experience with the headlight overheating and the plastic melted!!!). It is better to pull it out with gloves, because... The temperature of the headlight is quite hot.

3.Now we proceed to “opening” the headlight. Here you will need 2 flat screwdrivers. Using one screwdriver we bend the headlight latches that hold the plastic glass, with the other we try to tear the glass off the headlight and do this around the entire perimeter of the headlight. If the glass does not come off, then most likely the sealant is not heated well and you will have to repeat the heating in the oven.
If you succeed, then you will get two halves like this.

Next, remove the black plastic from the headlight on which two chrome rings are located.
Now we remove the rings. Each ring is held on by four latches, you need to be careful here, because... the latches are very fragile and break easily (personally, I broke 2 pieces)

Prepare your LED strip and wire. It is better to choose wire from light metal, it will be less noticeable. Because I have tinted headlights, so I chose copper, it’s still not visible. But this is everyone’s business, you can use copper if you want, it doesn’t matter.

4. Let's start making the "eyes". First, we cut the wire into blanks (make it long enough so that you can wrap the tape to the ring). First we wrap the end of the tape from where the wiring goes. Having connected the ring to the ribbon, we pull the wire with our fingers; Hercules does not need to apply any effort here, so that later there will be no problems with installing the ring in place. The excess ends of the wire that stick out can be cut off or carefully bent.

We carry out this procedure around the entire circumference of the ring. Next, see for yourself what shape you want to give to the “eyes”; if you want to see them round, then lay the tape along the entire length of the ring. If you want them to be horseshoe-shaped (in the shape of a crescent) like BMW ones, then you should not lay the tape along the upper edge of the ring. Personally, I did it around the entire circumference of the ring, but... Since my upper part is covered by eyelashes, the “eyes” turned out to be horseshoe-shaped (that is, the upper part is not visible).
Having decided on the shape of the “eyes”, cut off the excess tape.

We cut off the excess, connected the tape to the ring with wire and this is what we got:

We do the same with the second ring.
Two rings are made.
Now we put the rings in place, again on the latches.

5. Now is the final stage, let’s start assembling the headlights. We start the oven again and heat the headlight and plastic glass in it; under no circumstances should you put rings with “angel eyes” in there, because their gel base will melt.

Having heated the headlight, we quickly put the plastic with the “angels” in place in the headlight, pull the “eye” wiring through the hole under the parking light bulb to the outside.

The main thing is to do everything very quickly so that the sealant does not have time to cool. Then we put the plastic glass in place, making sure that all the latches fall into place (snap into place). Now press the glass against the headlight with your hands for 1-2 minutes until the sealant sets. For those who are afraid that the headlight will fog up, you can also add additional sealant, but I didn’t add anything, I left everything as it was and nothing fogged up.

Making a second headlight. Now everything is ready, put everything in place, glue the eyelashes, connect the wires to the side lights and here is the result:

In general, there is nothing complicated here; I spent about 1.5 hours on each headlight. The main thing you need is desire! I wish you all success!!!
