Door frame repair methods

remove all fasteners holding the rack;
remove the canvas itself from the loop awnings;
clean the timber from foam and other building material with a construction knife or just a sharp knife;
use a level to measure the exact vertical location of the stand;

Drill holes in the timber for new fasteners using a long drill;
secure the holes with dowels;
hang the beam in its original place, and using an electric drill, screw a couple of screws into the upper and lower hinge strips, which will help track the level of correct installation;

After you make sure that the installation is vertical, the hinges can be screwed on completely.

The reinstallation process is completed by knocking down the timber, re-foaming the gaps and installing the platbands. The installation of the door frame, in this case, may not have been correct from the start, or it may have gotten a little worse over time.

Arbitrary closing of the doors will help eliminate the same piece of material of suitable thickness, but installed in this version under the bottom hinge. • not completely, but by about a third, unscrew the screws from the upper or lower hinge strip (depending on which direction, the blade tilts);
• place a piece of cardboard under the plank, aligning the loop vertically;
• tighten the screws and check the installation.

Fasteners unscrewed for work

Over time, the seat of the hinge fasteners may become loose. To do this, you also need to slightly unscrew the screws, about halfway, and insert a piece of cardboard or other sealant into the socket. Then screw the fasteners back in and check the operation.

If none of the above operations help, then a new insertion of door hinges will be required. That is, move them from their previous mounting. It is also permissible to simplify your activities by trying to drown them a little deeper into their own nests.

When renovating an apartment or house, a lot of effort and energy is spent on choosing interior doors. They should decorate the room, provide reliable sound insulation and protect from drafts. Poor closing

Poor or loose closing of interior doors can be caused by the following factors:

1. The skew of the door frame is due to improper connection of the beams. Eliminated by more tightly fastening all components of the box using screws. To do this, the box must first be dismantled;
2. Insufficient deepening of the hinges into the box is eliminated by tightening the screws securing the hinges. If this does not help, you need to remove the box and deepen the niches for the hinges;
3. Excessive deepening of the hinges in the door can be solved by loosening their fasteners.

Poor opening

Unpredictable door behavior

In addition to poor opening and closing, there is another drawback that it is advisable to eliminate in time. In some apartments, owners prefer to keep the door half open, especially at night, for example, in order to hear a small child sleeping.
